Came here for an oil change, they said my oil drain plug was stripped and they couldn't get it off. However I KNOW my drain plug was fine and THEY stripped it. They tried to send me to some mechanic up the road that was their friend that just felt like there were trying to fleece me and help their friend out. The customer service at this location is consistently top tier. The staff is always so friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable, and always quick. I stopped by today for an oil change, power steering fluid, and air for my tires since I will be moving out of state in a few days and will be driving roughly 8 hours to our new place. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my car was in great shape to make the drive--changed my air filters, rotated my tires, checked on my wipers, etc---and the entire service took maybe 20 minutes. I went on a Saturday morning at 10. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish -- or so I thought. They told me the "Signature" package included bells and whistles like vacuuming. When they went over what was completed, they said vacuuming was done. It says so on the receipt. I got in the car. I looked at the floors. Not vacuumed at all. Check out the picture. I questioned whether to go back in and ask for it to be vacuumed; after all, that wasn't why I came to Jiffy Lube. I needed an oil change. Vacuuming was secondary. But it was the principle of the matter. It took another 15 minutes for them to vacuum my floors. Here's what I'm really concerned about: If they lied about the vacuuming, what else might they have lied about? Vacuuming is the MOST OBVIOUS thing on that list. If they would be so brazen to lie about something I can clearly see wasn't done, how much of a second thought do you think they would give to lying about something I CAN'T see with my own eyes? They said they checked the air filter, but how do I know? They say they checked the brake fluid, but again, how can I know for sure? Maybe the guy was just busy, and forgot. Maybe this was a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of thing. But when I mentioned it to the manager, he didn't seem too shocked. I wouldn't be surprised if they often "forget" to check little things when it's busy. Bottom line: Lies matter. It makes me less likely to trust this Jiffy Lube location. Again: If they lie about things I can see, why wouldn't they lie about things I can't see? read more

I've been coming here for years because the people and service were great, but probably won't return. I'm kind of sad about that. On my last visit, they had me stay in the car while they changed the oil. Waiting room was closed. Got to drive over the open pit, which was exciting, and they told me when to start and stop the engine. Unfortunately, this also means I was able to see what they did and did not do. Paid for the Signature Service oil change. They did change oil and (I assume) filter, but did not add windshield washer fluid, check/top off tire air pressure, or vacuum or clean windows. I didn't see them check other fluids, but maybe they can do this without looking at the car too closely. Not sure if they took my coupon or not - they said they didn't want it, though they may have added the discount. Can't tell from the receipt. Didn't put the little reminder sticker on my windshield for next oil change. They didn't try to upsell me on anything either, which was nice, but... odd. It felt like this isn't a real Jiffy Lube any more. It was pretty confusing sitting in the car trying to tell if they were yelling instructions to me, to each other, or to other drivers in their cars. This cost 95 dollars! For that price, I can go to the dealership for an oil change, where they throw in a car wash, tire rotation, and snacks, in a waiting room. Oh, well. The manager goes behind his guys to make sure they done everything right. And I got to sat in my car for the whole time. They scanned my driver's side door and new More than I did about my car. What I thought was a quick service actually was a bad one. After coming in for an oil change and having my engine air filter replaced, my engine began making a howling noise in which the dealership found the air filter was folded and the air box was left open. I went there for an oil change. Everything was going fine--socially distanced and masked--when the serviceman asked if I wanted my wipers changed. Since they hadn't been changed in awhile and I was there, I said yes. After the new blades were on the car, he tells me that he didn't have the 24" blades so he used a 16" and a 14" blade. When I objected, I was told I'd have to pay for them because they couldn't "legally" let me leave with the old ones. I will not be returning. It shouldn't cost $134 to get an oil change and to get ripped off on other add on services. read more

I've had a few less than stellar car repair/maintenance experiences in DC so I scoured yelp for a good place for an oil change and was willing to drive. I came at 12:30 on a Wednesday so I was worried there would be a long wait. You pull around back and someone will greet you to discuss what you need. There were about 5 cars in the bay or ahead of me when I arrived. The waiting room is fine, it was crowded and loud and there weren't enough chairs. All in all it took to me 40 minutes and $52 get the oil and filter changed (plus vacuuming, fluid top off, and a few basic inspection items). I had a fantastic experience today at this Jiffy Lube location. I pulled right up and they were able to start on my car right away. I also was thrilled that they were able to offer more than just an oil change! I had my wiper blades replaced, tired rotated, filters replaces, and headlights changed! I knew they offered some of those services, but I was surprised that they were able to change the headlights as well. I had forgotten how wiper blades are supposed to work until I had them replaced. It made such a difference and I'm glad that I splurged on all the "extras." Also - I never realized that all Jiffy Lube locations offers free oil top-offs between changes! I will have to keep that in mind for next time since my oil was quite low today. read more

This is by far the best jiffy lube I've been to. The staff is just PHENOMENAL, FRIENDLY and most all, ATTENTIVE. While explaining what they're doing, they also take their time. Other places I've been to, they talk too fast and then makes a sound whenever I asked them to repeat what they just said. It's all about having a pleasant experience and amazing service. Excellent service and experience. I was in desperate need of oil change, but didn't want to drive to Virginia to go to my normal mechanic. I need an oil change so infrequently that I typically do take that drive. It's just tough to know who to trust. I have a very old car that is in great condition and I think it's because I'm pretty selective about who works on it. Because of the good reviews I decided to give this place a try. I gave them a call at about 6:15 on a Monday and service was very friendly on the phone, I was able to pull right in and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. There was a recommendation made for filters, but they were not all pushy about me getting it done. Each service person was a pleasure. Highly recommend this place for an oil change. read more

I called them literally as I was a block away, asking if they would be able to change the oil in my car. The guy who picked up the phone said that as long as I got there before 7, they would. I arrived no more than 5 minutes after that call and the door was closed. A guy was mopping and said they were closed. The sign on the door says they're open until 7pm, it's 6:26 now but I had arrived about 6:05 when this happened. Probably won't waste my time coming out here again. read more

This was my first time ever going to Jiffy Lube and it won't be my last! I went in and told them what I needed. They explained their signature oil change, I agreed and was told to pull my car in. Once that was done, the gentleman told me what else was needed and gave me prices. After I told him what I did and didn't want, I was told to have a seat and they'd be done in 15 minutes. The guys there were very courteous and respectful but I tip my hat to the young woman there, (Demetris), for working her way up the ranks!
