Pulled in on my way home usually use Big O Tires in Pittsburg for service but didn't want to wait till tomorrow, should have waited $88.28 for a oil change not including tire rotation or anything else but the blended synthetic oil, its about 35.00 cheaper at Big O and I get the tires rotated. I told the employees that even the Oil Change 3000 in Pittsburg was half their price. Guess they saw my point they did discount it down to $69.32 more then I am used to paying. The staff were friendly and waiting area and bathroom were clean. Would only return in emergency or if there were coupons. read more

Just know that anytime you come here to get the oil changed they will find three other things with your car that they claim need to be fixed. Most of the time they may be right, but a lot of the time the shit they want to fix is not that dire. I think this is probably true with just about all oil changing companies. I called this Jiffy lube to verify that they can just charge me for labor of oil change since I had my own oil filter and synthetic oil. They quote me $35.00 for the labor charge. So I went there the next day and after 15 minutes of them calling around and "the boss" I was told it would be $75.00 for the labor with me providing the oil and filter!!! That was a rip-off. I went here for an oil change and it was finished within 30-40 minutes or so. I waited in the waiting room and watched tv to keep the time going. The guy helping me out was pretty nice, wasn't pushy or had too recommendation on services which is nice. I hate taking my car in and only getting an oil change and they say your car needs this and that soon for $500! There is also a car wash next door and after you get an oil change or other service you can get a wash at a discounted price. You just need to show them the receipt from Jiffy Lube. read more

They changed my oil and did not reset my maintenance code box. They rotated my tires and did not recal the tire pressure alarm as well. Needless to say, halfway into my 1700 mile roadtrip I had to find a dealership that could reset all the codes and make sure my tires and car were still running okay. Won't be going back. read more

Customer Be Warned! If you take your vehicle to the Jiffy Lube on Clayton Rd in Concord CA. You should be aware that they do not stand behind their customers. I took my vehicle in for preventative maintenance service of my transmission and an oil change. I told the assistant manager that my transmission was acting a bit strange but the car was running well and I wanted to get the fluid changed. He agreed and informed me that the flush would fix my issue. I drove away and was happy that my car was driving much better. Three days later my car over heated and is no now is in the shop with a $7k bill to repair the damage. Long story short... Jiffy Lube management feels they have no responsibility in the matter. They claim I had a preexisting condition. They sound like an insurance company! I feel that if there was an issue their expert staff should have known that the condition existed when they looked at the dirty fluid. They obviously did not know what they were talking about. I didn't know either so I proceeded with the service on the advise of their staff. When you don't know anything about engines or transmissions I rely on my mechanic to give me qualified advise. This did not happen. I feel at that point they share in some of the responsibility. They should have more qualified staff members so they are not giving out misguided information. "We're going to have to charge you for that buddy." I've been here several times, dropping $80 to $100 each time. I've never used coupons and I've never complained about anything, till now. Their replacement running lights went bad in under a year. They blame it on the car manufacturer. I blame it on their apparently cheap replacements. Whatever the reason, twenty bucks worth of bulbs is NOT what prompts this review. What prompts this review is their attitude. I was ready for another $80 oil change. I purchased bulbs beforehand. Since I've given them plenty of business and they've given me apparently shoddy bulbs, I thought it reasonable to ask them to install my new bulbs for me. The first sentence above was the young man's response. It's their business. They can have whatever policies or attitudes they want. And I can tell you about it if I want. Came here for an oil change and tire rotation. They offered me a free break inspection which showed that my break pads were worn down a bit. Given that I had already been waiting there 2 hours I declined having them replaced at that time. When I left I noticed a noise seemingly coming from the rear of the car. I had only a 5 minute drive home, so didn't hear it much that day. The next day, however, the noise was louder and I called them to ask if I can come back since something is wrong. They said not until Monday since they don't have a break technician in. Since it was so bad I ended up going to a break shop down the street and they found that Jiffy Lube had put my break pads on backwards. Metal on metal - so my rotators were destroyed. I can't believe how something like this can possibly happen. Very disappointed in the service and I will not go back there. read more

I had an oil change and of course they went for all the upgrades even when they said they recommend a better oil grade based on what my mfg recommends and only had in stock the $100 option. (it's a brand new car for it's first change...) Then I get home and the next day I notice oil spots all over my new drive way. I bring it right back and they said we can look at it but it will take about an hour, but we may close before that.... What kind of customer service is this, they had an open bay had had to tighten a freaking screw!??? I asked for a manager and was told there was not one on premise. I have been having my oil changed here for almost 20 years but no longer. I get a synthetic oil change it costs $90.00. Before they would vacuum the carpet and wash the inside windows, I thought that was part of the service, not any more. They did tell me I should replace my wiper blades, I don't think he even looked at them I put them on less than a week ago. This is the second time I got a coupon on line and they refused to honor it. The young man said we don't take coupons and told me all stores are individually owned. So I will get my next oil change at the Walnut Creek Jiffy Lube I hope it is owned by someone else. I think I will have someone check to see if I really got synthetic oil. read more

Went in for the standard oil change. Service guy approached me as soon as I drove in and told me to wait in the waiting room. After a short wait, I looked out the window and saw they were already draining the oil, even though they had not yet done any paperwork. Next thing I know they came to me and told me that the oil recommended by the manufacturer (toyota) was 0-20, but they didn't have 0-20 in a regular oil, only in a very expensive synthetic oil. They then told me if I didn't put in 0-20 it would void my warranty. Well thanks a lot. Now that you have already drained my oil, what am I supposed to do??? I then told them to disregard that BS and put in standard 5-20, figuring they were BSing me and it would not void the warranty. When I got home I checked my owners manual and found they were partially right and partially wrong. It did say I needed to put in 0-20, but if I put in 5-20, I should put in 0-20 the next time to maintain the warranty. In conclusion, they had no right to drain my oil until they checked to make sure they had the correct replacement oil. Or else, they should have volunteered to go to the nearest store and buy the correct oil. So beware this bait and switch. read more

Service Date: 01/26/15 Facts only: I drove to the facility with a car not making grinding noises. I left the facility after an oil change with my car making severe grinding noises. I had to make two u-turns to get back to the facility and looked under the car. The skid plate was dragging on the ground. I asked for the manager, and advised him of the issue. After handing him my keys, he threw them across the shop to another technician. The tech pulled my vehicle into the bay and they started fixing it. After a few minutes had passed, I went out to see why it wasn't done. The manager said they were having a hard time fixing it because of damage to the skid plate. I advised him it was attached fine when I pulled into the facility. The manager then said they don't touch the skid plate. I repeated that it wasn't dragging when I came in for an oil change, and now it was, He repeated they don't touch it. I asked for his business card and he said he doesn't have one. I asked for his name and he said "Rob". I asked for his last name and he said I'm not giving you that. He told the technician "Cosmo" working on my vehicle to just zip-tie the skid plate back on. He also gave him his phone and asked him to take pictures of the undercarriage "Just in case". In closing, I was able to leave the facility without any grinding thanks to their zip-tie repair. Not once was there ever even an attempt to apologise. I had been coming here for over 9 years with 5 different vehicles. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully this facility can improve, as most of the recent reviews seem in line with my experience. read more

I have done my oil change here at this location for the last 4 years. Over those 4 years i did oil changes, transmission flushes, replace cabin filters, air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and did head light restoration. I never had any issues before and the staff always went out their way to provide excellent professional service. Until recently, this location has had a complete roll over of all staff, not one person who used to work on my car is still there and the quality of service has decreased. two days after my oil change my oil light came on, with my busy schedule i just got to go back yesterday and they say my oil pan has leak. Isn't it funny (not really) two days after they change my oil now i have a leak and they say there is nothing they can do. After all these negative comments, it should have been gone long time ago. The other surprise to me is, why doesn't the corp. do anything. They are franchised and this particular shop is ruining their reputation. Here's an example of one of my terrible experiences with this shop. I was having serious performance problems with my car along with some other engine troubles. I took it to Toyota, while the service rep. was writing the order, he opened the hood and found out that most of the hoses and pipes were not reconnected after Jiffy changed oil & filter.
