This place reeks of corporate stench !!! The upsell here is ridiculous ! They bring you into a small room in the back, and essentially tell you about all the "additional" repairs, and maintenance your vehicle needs. They literally tried to jack me up for another $300. !! In my particular case, it was all a bunch of B.S. ! All it did was insult my intelligence, and piss me off !! Save yourselves from the B.S., and the slimy upsell and go elsewhere. And of course the typical corporate generic response from "Alan" below. Hey Alan, can't you do any better than a generic "cut and paste" ?! If you don't mind spending the same as the dealer's for a synthetic oil change and don't mind oil filters leaking all over your garage - then this place is for you. TWICE they screwed up the oil filter install and gave me an oil slick on my garage floor. I had to turn around 1 month later and get it done again at a REPUTABLE dealer. Bought a Groupon, sent my son to get an oil change for his car. I warned him before he went just to get the conventional oil change not to upgrade or add anything else. Told him he would maybe have to pay $5 extra on top of the Groupon. He called me as soon as he got there because he was of course bombarded with all these different options that he kept declining. Front desk lady comes back and tells him it will be about $50 extra. I immediately got on the phone to fight this matter, she said he had asked for blended oil (synthetic). Which he didn't because he doesn't even know what that is. She said it was too late and it was already done. I used a few choice words and asked for the manager, she put me on hold and came right back to the phone stating the car "wasn't" don't yet! And that they would do the basic service. The lady at the desk was nice but that's about it..I set down and they run in there & say come out you have a horrible oil leak (as they're draining the old oil) now idk if they were trying to pull a quick one since I am a female & I was by myself or if this is just how they operate! I do have some common sense about vehicles and they said I needed a new head gasket due to the leak which absolutely makes no sense and I don't know much about cars. Sort of like going to have a school for cosmetology for your hair well this is where they don't know shit about a vehicle. Excellent, quick service but not honest. Came in for an oil change which was fine and they did the regular inspection and said the brake pads were low and needed changing, did I want to do them today. I declined. Went to Sears a month later and Sears looked at them and my husband saw them too and said they were fine, we had replaced them the previous year. It had seemed weird that they needed replacing already. Trying to take advantage of a female bringing in a car by herself. Won't be back. It's a shame because they had efficient service. read more

Went in for an oil change. I got harassed into adding extra things, I kept saying now and the guy responded by saying "why not?" What kind of professionalism is that? Also, he said let me change your wipers... I said no thank you. He insisted that he would offer me 10% off... I told him no I can get them cheaper on Amazon. He laughed at me... I often come to this location for an oil change bc they always have Groupon specials on sale. This time around, I came here for a routine oil change. The sales man, Michael A. found some come parts that needs replacement: AC filter, engine filter and windshield wipers. He's a very understanding sales man and was very patient in explain the parts necessity to me. He was also very willing to work with me on the price of the items when I asked him if they have any promotion and sales going on. He made one of my filters cost drop by $8 or so bc he put in a coupon for me. Bc of him, I replaced both of my filters. Didn't do the windshield wipers bc the cost was too much and he said, "yeah, the filters are more important anyways". So he wasn't trying to sell things to me that I didn't need! That's a rare quality to find in any mechanic store since I'm a girl who went in alone. Usually mechanics will either up the price on everything or make you buy all the services you don't need if you're a girl. I love that attribute about Michael. Do not come here.!!!!!!! Their "mechanics" have no idea what they are doing. My husband's car started overheating unfortunately right next to their shop. We pulled in, had them take a look at everything and they charged us $750 for parts that they "supposedly" changed. We left the car over night and their repairs didn't fix anything. The car was still overheating and smoke was coming from under the hood. They took it for another night and replaced the fan without my husband's consent and wanted to charge us an extra $250. No shot was he going to pay for something that was never agreed upon. They said everything was up and running perfectly fine and didn't charge us for the fan and gave us a 10% discount. Well by time we got home which is about 2 miles away the car is overheating again. They charged us $700+ for absolutely nothing. DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT SITTING ON THEIR ASS PRETENDING TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARS. read more

My major complaint and reason for one star is the change in my cup went missing and my Kershaw knife ($50 value) was stolen. The manager Carlton takes customer satisfaction seriously and Austin was a pleasure all smiles and jokes. There was an issue I raised and it was immediately addressed and resolved. Not honest. Took my GMC in for a oil change and tire rotation. One tech said they had to order my oil filter because it takes " a special filter". The other tech came in and said the filter is on the way because they "ran out". They recommended rear differential fluid change at $99.99 ( I only have 60,000 miles) I said no. If you take you vehicle here take your owners manual so you can do your own research ....... it took over one and one halfhoursanto get the oil changed. Then off to get the tires rotated. Not a happy customer. Pros: they didn't start the truck until the new filter was installed. They did not charge for the tire rotation. read more

Either the reviews were wrong or management has changed as this place was very well run. Mike greeted me at my truck as soon as I arrived and walked me in. They were very busy, but got me through in 30 minutes. Ya, they tried to up sell me, but quickly and kindly accepted my declines. I feel so violated I need to tell my story. When I went inside they presented me a list of options for an oil change ranging from 40 to over $100. I chose the $40 oil change. After about 15 minutes of waiting I've noticed that it seems the employees are running some sort of scheme. For example one of the mechanics will come out into the waiting room and say "who had the silver Nissan?" Then the owner of the car would raise his hand and the mechanic would pull him aside into a separate room to tell him what was wrong with his car. I had overheard a conversation that made me feel uneasy. I won't go into that right now instead I'll stick to my story. My car is one-year-old most of my services get done at the Toyota dealership for free so I was very confident that even if they lied to me and said there was things that were wrong with my car I wouldn't be getting the work done here anyway and I would take it to Toyota. I got "called into the principals office" which is basically my version of the mechanic taking me aside to tell me something bad about my car. He knew it was a new car and mentioned that, he also said that the oil that I chose was not good for this car and it would mess it up he told me I need synthetic oil. I asked him how much would that cost ?he said it would be about $80. I know that's ridiculous so I said I'll just take it to Toyota for free it's OK thanks anyway I was looking for a $40 oil change. He then tells me that he cannot let me leave because he already drained my oil.. And now I can either put $40 conventional oil in my car which would have messed my car up or I could choose the synthetic oil for $80 even though I had already agreed to a price at the front desk.. (He opened the cap to show me that my car needs synthetic, according to a number on he cap) I went back inside to speak with the cashier and I told her I felt that i was being taken advantage of and I couldn't even leave because there was no oil in my car. (He knew what type of oil my car took before he drained it .. And knew what the order was for .. He should have asked before he drained it, but that's not how the scam works ) Then the mechanic started to go lower on the price all the sudden "I'll do it for 60 " and when that wasn't good enough he said he would take another "five dollars off." My frustration turn into anger and I looked him straight in the eyes in the windows of the soul and I said it I just said it I said "YOURE GOING to do this oil change for $40 or we"re going to have a problem". He size dme up, I balled up my fists.. And prepared for a fight after about 20 seconds of state down ... I told him you better do something get the manager ! In which he walked away .. All the mechanics huddled up in the corner while I spoke with the person inside she try to calm me down and said that she would take care of me then about five minutes later he comes back and says he'll do the synthetical change for $42.50 I said I appreciate it. After this I'm never coming back here I feel like I should never have to make a scene fun of people just do not get taken advantage off specially since I seen it done right in front of me for the first 15 minutes I was waiting. It seems as though the entire staff really is it on it and they just pretend that they're surprised when they find out that you know do not come here there notoriously known for running the scams unnecessary shit that does not need to be done to your car for a very high price. And when you look online for the prices at Jiffy Lube.com it says it varies from location to location ! They make up prices whenever they want .. And I used a coupon at the end .. And it says scan the coupon but they never did .. They think they slick .. I was almost pushed too far .. Murder1 wouldn't be a good look for me read more

Will never go back to Jiffy Lube again. I have had trouble before with them but this time I was desperate. They broke the dipstick for my oil and never told me. I found out when I took the car to my next oil change a couple of months later and they showed it to me that the dipstick handle was broken off and I needed to replace it. Now I have to go back to Jiffy Lube to try to get them to replace it. If they had been up front with me in the first place I would have at least thanked them for being honest and not leaving me in this position. Now I have to take time off from work to go back and it will most likely be an argument. What a lousy thing to do to a customer. Never go there again. EVER read more

After I decided not to have my car's repair done here, they tried to charge me $99 to store my car there for 2 days. The nerve!

I came in asking for an oil change and the "diagnostics" came back saying that my car needed new spark plugs and a flush and new coolant fluids and a tire alignment and the list goes on. I had expressed my frustration to the gentleman about how I was taken advantage of at a dealership a few months ago by them telling me I needed a slew of new parts and fluids. A few minutes later he was doing the same exact thing to me. Ridiculous. By the time I told him I just wanted the oil change and nothing more, he said that the mechanic had already taken my spark plugs out. I went there expecting to pay $30 for an oil change and left having payed $335 for repairs I didn't want. Because I am a young female, I am sure that they knew that they knew they could take advantage of me and make me believe that my car needed additional repairs. I have never felt more taken advantage of as a customer and will surely let my friends and family know that this is happening. I ended up paying $300 more than I wanted. I find it sad and horrifying that this happens to people every day and I hope that this post will help people stay educated. I will not be returning to car repair places alone anymore. Waited over an hour for an oil change (as did several other customers), I used to come here all the time when it was a family run business before it became a Jiffy Lube, and it took 20 minutes tops. Now it takes forever, costs more, and they try to sell you all sorts of upgrades all the time. Avoid this place at all costs. I'll be looking for a new place to get my oil changed. At first I was delighted at how fast the service was but I soon realized why. I got in my car only to discover oil and dirt covering my tan floor mats. They did not vacuum nor spray the windows, a service that I am used to at my normal oil change place as well as a fluid top off. I learned that one this morning when I used the last of windshield wiper fluid five days after getting my oil changed at jiffy lube. I understand that it's a typical factory chain but when a customer pays as much as they charge, a little TLC goes a long way. Go somewhere else. read more

Just stopped by the shop a couple of days ago for an oil change. The last visit about 6 months ago really gave me an awful taste in my mouth with all the up selling. That is until I met a gentleman named Alex who took care of me and every single one of the customers in the lounge, from offering coffee, adjusting the AC temperature for our comfort, coming in often to check up on us and start friendly convos. After what I have seen I really did not mind the up selling because he did it without pressuring me into buying anything and said that it's my choice whether or not I want to purchase anything. I ended up buying a couple of filters, wiper blades and a fuel cleaner which I didn't even know needed to be done every 15,000 or so miles. All in all my experience with this place has changed drastically. Friends will get referred that's for sure. read more

Worst place to take your car....EVER! I took my car in for an oil change and they said I needed new brake pads. I said "ok." My mistake. They replaced my brake pads, but then my brake lights would not shut off. I had to disconnect my battery when I parked so it wouldn't die. I went back and told them what the deal was. They said I needed a new switch underneath the brake pedal because "these switches go bad from time to time." They wanted to charge me $104....I said "hell no!" So they "lowered" it to $32. I took my car and went home. I got in my car later that day...now it wouldn't shift out of park. I finally got it back to them. By this time I'm pissed. I had already called headquarters and forced them to give me a full refund. They "fixed" the problem. As I'm driving home, my car started slowing down...then the wheels locked and started smoking. I had to walk a mile back to the store. At this point, Ryan Jennings, the Zone Manager is there. I'm flipping out on everyone. He drives me to my car with another mechanic in the backseat. Dig this...he says "your front brakes locked up. It's not our fault because we didn't go anywhere near the front brakes." My car is now stranded in the center lane of a busy street during rush hour. It almost got hit a few times. A cop is now on the scene parked behind me so cars don't slam into me. Ryan calls his boss and says "well, we're going to DO YOU A FAVOR and fix the front brakes at no cost to you." If the cop was not there I would have straight up knocked him out. I told them I don't want them to touch my car. So they had it towed to Pep Boys. They said the switch they put in was put in incorrectly and could have messed up my entire braking system. Ryan has not apologized or accepted responsibility. All he's said is "well, everything is fixed like I told you it would be." Now, I'm having an issue getting the $30 they owe me in gas money that I gave my friend for driving me around. I reported them to the BBB. DO NOT GO THERE EVER!!!!! read more
