I don't recommend this place at all. I work in the same shopping center and went to ask for a simple problem for my car. The battery wouldn't start but the store i work at is exactly next door. I had a blow out on the 595 ramp from the Sawgrass Xway. Was able to pull into the tire center and within 20 minutes, my time was replaced and back on the road. I'm sorry but how many tire centers can get you back on the road within a half hour and not hurt your pocket for a blow out? One of my tires went flat due to a nail the morning my family and I were going on a trip I went to tire kingdom and tires plus one said that it would be 3 hours to plug. EXACTLY HOW A Tire and auto store should be. I am taking the time to write this review because Tire problems in general are constant, If you dont have one now.....you will down the road. Nails, screws, replacing with new tires etc... This is the best place I have ever been to, not even close. The owners are usually the people taking calls and helping you over the phone, so that right there is a first great step. I have ordered fronts and backs to be replaced for a Benz SUV that needed special size tire, all over the phone. He told me what I can get and how much, done deal over the phone, paid for them and was called the next day to come have them installed. These are the most professional peiople I have ever met. The techs are skilled and just do the joob. These are honest people who make your tire problems go away! One less thing to worry about. I have not used them yet for other auto repairs, but they do offer many services. I just came back now from them removing a screw and plugging the tire. I called at 9am, he said come on in and I was out in 20 minutes, I suggest calling before you go just to see how busy they are. As honest reviews are important for people to know where not to go etc...this review is equally as important so you know where to go!. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We went in today to get a simple tire alignment because we heard a small humming noise that we believed would be solved by this. After I received my car back it made loud cranking noises every time I tried going over little bumps in the rode. We took it back to the shop and the owner immediately started arguing that he wasn't going to work on my car because it was a rebuilt title. He continued to tell us that he was going to call the police and charge us with trespassing. We called the police before him to file a report against the entire company. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, narcissistic person in my life. TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. They will take your money and mess up more than they fix. Save yourself your time and the headache and take you vehicle to someone who actually does the job correctly the first time. Last night we went to a movie at the Ridge and parked my 2011 Jeep at Ridge Auto and when we tried to leave my car would not crank..nothing.. not even a dash light. I was really surprised since I had just bought a new battery last week. We took a Lift home and called the shop when they first opened at 0730 this morning. The manager, Tom Stenglein said bring your key in and I'll check it out. Upon arrival Tom said give them a hour to check it out. Before I left I tried again and nothing. In an hour, Tom called and said I could pick up my car since when he tried, it cranked. He said he tried everything..checked all the wires, starter, ignition switch and could not get it to fail. I was surprised to hear him say no charge..he said can't fix it if it's not broke. While I haven't had any other work done there, it was nice to find an honest business..he could have charged me for just the diagnostic work. HORRIBLE AND RACIST!!! If I could I would do a zero. This type of behavior is hurtful and unacceptable! I went for a simple plug. Not a patch......a plug! I had a small screw in my tire. The manager Tom Stenglein charge me $32.10 for a plug when I asked why it was so high. He began being very rude and said I should be thankful that I got it plugged mind you I only went there because my friend who lives around the corner, suggested the place and I just dropped my daughter to school around the corner. They charged my friend five bucks and few months ago. I would've NEVER have got it done there if I knew that was the price before hand! Mind you my friend is white. Just your typical cliche, crooked mechanic shop that look to slither their way further and further into your wallet. These guys don't care about your car, they just want your money because they are struggling to stay afloat. If you aren't knowledgable about cars, never go here. These guys prey on the weaker-minded car people to sleeze out as much money as they can. First time I went there, I got charged $135 to mount one tire, and then had my wheel's paint damaged. These crooks use minimum wage backyard mechanics to do their work. If you walk in you'll be lucky to find anybody at the front desk. My ex took her car in there with an AC that was blowing hot. The guy "inspected" the car and came back 2 minutes later claiming the whole system was shot and needed to be replaced. Turns out the AC just needed to be recharged, which is a 15 minute job anybody can do by themselves. Don't waste your time here. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at this shop. I had an oil change and air filter work done end of December 2018. While I had not used the air conditioner much during the first 2 months as the temperatures were pleasant, I started to mid to towards the end of February. To my surprise the air was not cool when blowing and it would take close to 40 minutes to start feeling the slight difference. As it started to get warmer in March I was ready to take it to the dealer to have the A/C diagnosed. But after mentioning to my brother it was suggested to check the filter which to my long surprise this was as dirty as it can be including debris. It was obvious to me that the filter was not replaced as it should not be that dirty after only 5 thousand miles. I came to Ridge Plaza Tire & Auto today and was explaining to the owner who basically said they had replaced it and it would be his word against mine and there was nothing he would do. I asked him to have the filter replaced or refund my money and he simply said that would not happen as it would cost him about $20-21. I would discourage future customers to get service here alook for better shops who could at least give a customer the benefit of the doubt and use compassion and true customer service skills. This man had none!! I will not return nor recommend anyone here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They replaced my tires with the wrong ones and my car did not drive correctly after taking off the lot. I returned back telling them the issue and they said it was because my tires were low on air. It turns out they sold me WINTER tires and my tire popped again. I called back to tell them what happened and the response was "Why are you calling here, there's no warranty for the tires you purchased. What's the purpose of this call" HORRIBLE SERVICE!
