Sooo... July 2024 on vacatio, we stopped by jiffy lube Durango to have my Dodge diesel oil changed. Upon arrival we waited 30 min until a heavily facial tattooed young man addressed us with "What can we do you for?) Reply: oil change that's all. 30 min later I was being upsold air and fuel filter. I declined. I knew something was up and checked the oil level before we left the front driveway. It was WAY over filled! I stated that it was overfilled and asked how much they pit into it? They said 16qts. I stated it only holds 13 with the filter. I just left and drained off 3qts at the local autozone parking lot. I always maintain my vehicles at home and had been on along road trip during July and couldn't avoid a on vacation service. Fast forward to January 2025. I put my truck on my lift to service the truck. Guess what I found??? My hand Writing on the oil filter dated 1/2024 with the milage. I was and still am pissed!!! I called multiple times to speak to owner about the fraud that is occuring under their watch. CRICKETS!!!!! I do not want compensation! I want people to understand you can not trust that local Durango Jiffy Lube!!! read more

Unfortunately these folks didn't do any research or open up a manual. Making assumptions on someone else's own property can cost the owners a lifetime of savings in a split second of assumption making. They destroyed my engine putting the wrong coolant in it. I came in to get an oil change. They did it mostly properly and I appreciate it. They didn't top off fluids which i thought was a normal part of process but I did not inquire. Chalked it up to "oh well." They also told me I needed new brake pads and new rotors because I had worn through the brake pads. I was surprised to hear this because I have not heard any noises like metal on metal. I went to McNeal's Auto (down the street) and they said I had 5% left on front brake pads and 10% left on rear brake pads. I did not need new rotors. I'm so glad I went to get a second opinion. I really wanted to do business with Jiffy Lube (called them several times to talk about my brakes) because of past experience but I guess I've learned my lesson. read more

I brought my Infiniti QX60 in for a simple oil change and it resulted in sooo much more money and time. The filter cover was not covered properly so there was oil spilling everywhere and they forgot to put the air filter back in. i had my inspection and oil change done about twenty days ago here. i also asked them to rotate my tires and fill them up. i specifically asked about the tread on the tires and they said they were still in the green. today i went to discount tires to have them checked again because ive had to refill them three times since being at jiffy lube. i was told basically all four needed to be replaced immediately and that the guys at jiffy lube probably didn't pay attention to it because if they had it would've been hard to miss. read more

Came in for an oil change at 5:00 p.m. and they cheerfully, albeit wearily, took my car. After the work was complete the manager, Jacob Ortiz, did a final inspection and discovered a mouse had made a nest in the engine bay. He showed me a volleyball-sized nest of grass and twigs, and mentioned this is what he had pulled out so far. He told me if I could wait about 30 more minutes he would pull off the cover and remove the rest - no charge, just as a courtesy gesture! When the nest was removed Jacob recommended some products I could use to discourage critters from making a home in the car. He even offered to install for me if I ran the vehicle by another day. Not where people are coming up with bad reviews... Jacob went up and beyond any expectation, with a smile, and at almost 6:00 p.m. You certainly have a repeat customer in me. read more

Absolute joke! I called Jiffy Lube Friday afternoon about getting brakes and rotors imstalled. They told me that they could take care of it no problems in the morning. I showed up just before opening time and waited. When the service rep came out after opening the shop, I was told they had nobody who could it that day. All the negative reviews were correct. HORRIBLE customer service. I called this morning to verify they could service my car and they confirmed yes. I get there and they tell me they can not service my vehicle. The supervisor told me his local dealers, including O'Reilys did not have my type of filter. I drove to O'Reilys myself and picked up the needed equipment. The supervisor could have cared less. I wouldn't have cared if I were not leaving out of town the next day. As I drove off, he sarcastically told me to have a good day. I came in last Saturday for an oil change...I typically have a trusted friend do oil changes and simple maintenance on my car, but he was busy, so I decided to just go here since I knew I needed an oil change. I was told that my rear brake pads were in the red zone and that I needed my battery terminals cleaned because they were "severely corroded"....the total of up charges was $520 that they were trying to get out of me. I'm a woman, at a car shop...I know how this world works, despite the fact that a young 20 something girl was giving me this quote...I told her that I wanted to get a second opinion. She gave me attitude and said "you really should get your brakes done, they're bad" to which I replied that I would...I got my brakes done today, by my trusted friend and I am SO glad I made the decision to get his opinion because after inspecting the brake pads, they did need to be changed soon, but they were not nearly as bad as they were made out to be. My battery terminals that were "severely corroded" didn't have ANY corrosion on them, there fire they did not need to be cleaned... Also, they offered to refill my coolant, which was only an extra $6 so I agreed...but turns out they didn't because the "cap was broken"...looking back, I remember one of the guys working on my car popping his head in and saying something about "he broke it" while frustratingly tossing a paper towel in the garbage...pretty sure they broke that cap and just claimed that it was already broken. I've used jiffy lube throughout the years as a backup but NEVER have I ever felt like I was being scammed so badly. If I need any sort of work done on my car again I will be taking my business elsewhere...this place just wants to rip people off to make money. No integrity. read more

Nice staff, good experience until the skid plate fell forward on our way back into town after our first trip out of town after the oil change. We ended up having to drive back under 20 mph from Purgatory Ski Resort on the outside of the road, picking up rocks and debris the whole way in the rain. It was a harrowing drive, and we barely made it back. The Jiffy Lube team fixed it the next morning when we brought it back in. This is one of those trust exercises that we lost, and we will not return. read more

I'm not normally one to leave bad reviews, and I've been here in the past and the service was great. But I went in for a tire rotation and oil change today, and watched a technician kick my hubcap to put it back on. It cracked and a piece fell off. It's a good thing I was watching because I don't think they wouldn't have said anything. They took the price of the rotation off when I mentioned it thankfully, but still not worth the price of a new hubcap. Probably won't be coming back here. read more

Took about 10 minutes to get checked in. There were plenty of employees standing out front that didn't look too busy. $180 for a conventional oil change for a duramax. Receipt said they vacuumed and washed the windows. That definitely didn't happen. Wonder what else they forgot to check/do.... read more

I came back in the afternoon and was told coming in the morning is super fast instead of a 2 hr wait. They are first come first served, no appointments. The oil change was super fast and they showed me how messed up my filter was; it had been jammed in ( oil change done in Sacramento. CA) and I wasn't able to open my glovebox since. I dont understand the other reviews. Knocking an entire business over a light bulb? Ive been coming here off and on for 5 years and its the only mechanic i trust at this point... Theyre insanely fast when you have to leave your car for 5 days with somebody else my car runs insanely good when they work on it and i ending up paying less then what they quote. Stopped in here the morning after we got into town as part of our epic round trip between Dallas and La Grande OR on July 9th. We were on our way back home and had descended from the mountains late at night with a flashing Drive light on the dashboard. Was worried about our transmission but a visit here (with a very informative, friendly and engaging service tech) revealed that our transmission fluid was fine, in fact a bit overfull and he said we would be fine the rest of the ride home (which we were). Tipped us off on the reason for the blinking light and topped us up on coolant then were on our way. MUCH peace of mind for under $5! Thanks guys! read more

I came in for a headlight that was out, and they also cleaned my windshield since I had tape stuck on it. I didn't even ask them to do it, so that was so nice of them. Having swore off Jiffy Lube 5 years ago after I was in Wisconsin and they both wrote cliff notes on my engine in sharpie and put too much oil in, only to be treated like crap when I went back to get it fixed. Being a sucker for a coupon, I tried the one in Durango. They are fast to the point of wondering if they are even doing it correctly, the up-sell is a whirlwind of 1/2 truths, the waiting room is dirty with stained cheap chairs, they high pressure old ladies for needless services and in the end they failed to correctly put my glove-box together after the cabin filter show'n'tell, just leaving it broken rather than take the time to do it correctly. Walmart in Durango does a better, calmer job at a lower price. As I got in to my car the guy that had to follow me out to make sure I got to my car 5 feet from the front door almost slammed the door on my ankle as he was in such a rush to move on. I was headed to Durango for a snowboard trip with my daughters and my oil light came on... So I popped in there. They changed it promptly, recommended a few items like topping off my antifreeze and an air filter... But nothing more then what would be expected. Overall great experience and I would recommend them. Pricing is in alignment with other shops in town. Props to Samuel who helped me get in and out quickly and efficiently. read more

Went here a couple times and had recommended them to my girlfriend as well. Service was ok here until they told me I needed a $90 serpentine belt replacement that I didn't actually need (which I had figured since it had only been a couple months earlier when I had replaced it with another mechanic). FIRST TIME...LAST TIME. Oil change was the same you get anywhere. It's quicker than doing it yourself, so they are trained to catch those in a hurry.... or those that could / would not do it themselves . I had no problem saying no thanks to the $27.00 air filter that I was quoted ($7.97 @ Walmart) My issue with this Jiffy Lube came when I bought a new 'digital tire pressure gauge' along with the air filter later that day. Using the new gauge, I discovered the tires they assured me were each 42 lbs ...verbally and in print .......... were 32 lbs, 34 lbs, 37 lbs and 39 lbs. Really, let me leave with 2 tires 10 lbs low? This caused me to feel the need to re-check all of the items listed as having been checked by Jiffy Lube. The oil filter was new and the oil was slightly overfilled. $80 and didn't save me much, if any time...all said and done. read more

I drove out of the garage and was pulled over by cop because my tail light was out. Jiffy lube claimed that they checked all of the lights, and even checked them off on my records sheet. I went in for an oil change and spark plugs= simple no tech didn't follow torque spec on plugs plus charged me for OEM PARTS PUT CHEAP Crappy parts which caused ignition problems throughout my Audi resulting in me having to pay an additional 600.00 in REAL mechanics fees.
