I've had my oil changed here on both of my cars, and tires rotated on one of them. I'm definitely happy with the service and the price is a good value. The staff is probably required to try to upsell you a couple things (synthetic oil instead of conventional, coolant top-off even if you're just barely low, etc). But I know they're just doing their job, and I've still had a good experience. I just politely decline the extra services offered. I've found that M-F in the afternoon or early evening there's no line, so that's a great time to stop in. I wish I remember the name of the young man who handled my last transaction. He was thorough, honest (not pushy on the upsell attempt), kind, and made the trip an overall enjoyable experience. If they had a tip jar I actually would've wanted to give them something to say thanks! read more

Deavon is amazing! I went there for oil change and to get my tires checked. Deavon (sorry if spelling is not correct) explained details of the services my car needs and gave me so much helpful information about their services. She was very friendly yet very professional and so patient with me. I was ready to spend hours there but it only took them 20-30 minutes to examine my car, change oil and rotate tires. Wow, scaring your customers, what a business model! Went for service at 15k on a 2010 Ford. "Expert" tech tells me if I don't accept his up-sell to synthetic blend, I will be voiding my new car warranty. Since I am very familiar with my owner's manual, I replied, "really?" and he said he is very unpopular with the customers because he always has to relay that fact. My owner's manual recommends a synthetic blend, but specifically says it is not required. He even put a note on my receipt that said I was warned before I voided my warranty. What a freakin' joke. I guess the old "look at your dirty air filter" isn't working anymore...... read more

I dropped in to get an oil change today. I love this location because they always get me in right away and back out super fast too. I used to go to a different Jiffy Lube in S Everett, but the only have two bays and not enough workers. These guys at the Silver Lake location, checked my car over and let me know what maintenance needed to be done, and they also vacuumed my car and washed my windows. And I was out of there in about 20 minutes. They're all pretty friendly too. Thanks guys! read more

Got my oil change about a month ago and made sure i got the best oil which ran me almost $100 for oil that would last longer and be better for my car. When they started, they did not understand how to take my air filter out and they did not know how much oil to put in my vehicle. I had to buy oil because the idiots didnt put enough in. About 3 quarts low. read more

I've had a lot of poor experiences at various Jiffy Lube locations around Washington State. That said I was still willing to give it a shot despite the less than glowing reviews. Coming in for a signature oil change I knew what to expect. I arrived at about 5 PM and it was empty. Sweet! Quick oil change I thought. The Jiffy Lube employees greeted me immediately and were quite courteous. Looking good so far. I was told 15-20 minutes and my car would be ready. A couple people came in after so I assumed they would take care of mine first and then go to theirs. 40 minutes later and I see my car is out front and ready to go. I didn't know why it took so long but I assumed it was potentially because my undercarriage was zip tied in a few locations. Not sure that justifies the additional 20 minutes though. This added wait wouldn't have normally bothered me, however I waited an additional 10 minutes AFTER the car was done before a rep came by to check me out. They had moved onto the next person's car before assisting me. So much for great customer service. At check out they ran through a list of checks they performed. First thing they say "your previous oil level was full". Not true at all. I had checked my oil level the day before and was a quart low at least. They ran down the list going over the various fluid levels, tire pressure, etc. They get to lights and say all looks good. Too bad my wife had told me my left brake light was out the day before as well. I got the feeling that they either didn't actually perform some of these checks or they did them so hastily that I essentially paid the signature oil change price for a basic oil change. It's one thing to have bad service, it's a wholly different story when you treat your customer like an idiot and just expect them to shell out money for services you didn't perform. I have no plans to come back here. read more

My husband and I had to have our oil changed and to do it the technicians need to cut off zip ties that are holding the undercarriage of the car together. We SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM they had to put the zip ties back on after the oil change, and they put ONE back. They took FIVE off, and replaced ONE. So today as we were driving down the freeway, we hear a noise, and sure enough it's our undercarriage dragging along the freeway. We could've gotten in an accident thanks to their carelessness. I will NEVER give Jiffy Lube my service again. Not one single time have they ever put the zip ties back on right, and this time even after we made it a big point to tell them THEY HAD TO, they still didn't. UNBELIEVABLE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. read more

I believe their names were Matt, Jon, James Jeremy and they were all really polite and really helpful at the same time I appreciate all the work you guys did for my Honda Matt was great his customer service was awesome I felt like he really cared about our safety in the car along with James that did my break fluid flush he was pretty concerned about making sure everything was OK and I really do appreciate that. Update to original review: the General Manager, Jesse was very responsive. They took the initiative to contact me immediately and have offered to correct the situation. Thank you so very much!! On Sunday I arrived to Jiffy Lube and requested an oil change, the 1st employee had me get out of my car and proceed inside. A second employee entered the waiting area to inform that he did not know how to change the oil in my Smart Car & asked me to come back the following day, offering a $15 discount. I informed the employee that I had to work, but would return in the evening for them to complete the oil change. On Monday, I left work and arrived at Jiffy Lube, an employee had me leave my car and enter the waiting area. The same employee who had assured me that they would be able to change my oil, entered the waiting area again. This time it was to inform me that they did not have the filter in stock. He did offer that if I waited for extra time they could "probably" have a filter delivered from a local auto parts store. I asked the employee about further discounting the service as this was yet another inconvenience caused by the facility's lack of planning. The employee indicated that he was unable to offer an additional discount as I'd already been offered a discount. I informed the employee that I would take my business elsewhere and contact the management team of the store. While I understand that my car is a bit rare, I've seen many around. The issue is that the facility had more than 24 hours to obtain an oil filter and for some reason was unable to do so. This shows a serious lack of workflow planning & management oversight. read more

They are not very professional. First the lady told me to drive in and wait, without telling me which lane she wants me to drive, so I drove in one lane had no car, then there is this one guy who worked there got very upset and directed me to not drive in that lane. Then I drove to the other, they are like, wait you are supposed to go to the other one, which there are three lanes, they have me guessed three times and make a fuss about it as a customer service rep. Then I drove to the other lane, then waited till the car left. Then no one ever said anything, so I drove a bit forward, then they are are wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowow, you almost got to the pit, you don't drive in without us telling you so. Well, guess what, when I came in, no one helped, no one told me how to proceed, just this one gal vaguely told me to drive around. Then they are like, you will have get off your car and wait for us then, cuz you don't know how to drive in yourself, we will have to have someone else work here drive it for you. I mean, Seriously? When you don't direct customers, and you assume me as a customer know how to run your shop, it's very unprofessional and immature. read more

I would like to post a review of the service here, but they wouldn't service my car. When I pulled in for service at 11:00am, there were 4-5 technicians just standing around. A very young man with a soul patch identified himself as the manager, and advised me he would not be able to work on my car for at least 30 minutes. When I noted there were many techs just standing around, he advised they were changing out a serpentine belt on the only car in the otherwise empty 4-car bay. When I pointed out that I work in the automotive industry, and it only takes one person to change out a serpentine belt, he advised me they couldn't work on my car because it was lowered. I advised I had a stock suspension, he responded that it looked lowered to him. Taking the hint, I left in disgust. I've had my car serviced at Jiffy Lubes several times in the past, and never had an issue. I ate at the Burger King next door, and as I was leaving a few minutes later, I noted the entire staff standing around in the parking lot talking and smoking. I guess they just weren't ready to start work at opening time, which is fine, I don't want lying clowns working on my car anyway. read more

Went in for an oil change out of convenience and was greeted by a rather perky, upbeat lady Kylie. She was helpful in identifying factory recommended check-ups and pulled a co-worker aside to answer my questions she could not. The staff that assisted my vehicle were helpful in identifying how good/bad my other fluid levels were, which gave me piece of mind for the time being. Simple as it gets. In and out. read more

Great service very friendly car gets pampered why I get pampered at my nail salon next door

I haven't been to this location in a while. The first time I went the told me I needed a new serpentine belt so I let them change. when I went back 3 months later for another oil change they told me I needed a new serpentine belt, I figured I got a bad lot the first time and let them change it again. When I went back again 3 months later they told me I needed a serpentine belt. I told them no way, and they started in with the tactics that it was about ready to break and then I would need to be towed. I sold the car 2 plus years later having never changed the serpentine belt and never experiencing a break down. read more

I hate to bash places I have only been to once, but there will NOT be a second visit. It is not my first jiffy lube, however. 1) Speed: Nothing Jiffy about pulling up to 2 empty stalls and it taking OVER 70 minutes for a straightforward oil change! 2) Service: Met me at my car, then 15 minutes later someone came and talked to me at the desk...Should have left then. Nice enough people, just neglectful and NOT interested in personal service. 3) Filthy: Melted ice cream on the floor, dirty bathrooms, disgusting "beverage" center with spilled coffee, dirty cups, and overflowing garbage. Cold coffee, no water cups. 4) Overpriced for what you get...Especially if not at all "Jiffy." 5) No pride: Even after taking forever, with a disingenuous "sorry it took so long," there was oil from the technicians pants on my new car's leather seat. I was more than obvious with my discontent, and I asked for something to wipe it off, thinking that they would at least come wipe my seat off for me, and she left and returned with one single dry rough paper towel. ... I will NEVER return to this location and will second guess using ANY Jiffy Lube in the future. Horrible Experience. read more

I've read bad reviews about this place and was hesitant to go... However, the service I got was excellent today. I'm by no means a car genius but I know enough to know if someone is pulling my chain and trying to sell unwanted items. I wasn't haggled into buying anything and the service was wonderful. I spent a total of 30 minutes there and that's including paying and getting 2 updates from them on the status of my vehicle. If they were bad before they've definitely changed those ways and are an outstanding place to go get your car worked on. I'm glad I went with my gut and not previous reviews. read more

I went in for a oil change about a year ago. Paid $50 for the basic change, nothing special. All is going well until the next day when i decided check my oil to make sure it is all good and to my surprise they drained my oil AND FORGOT TO PUT ANY BACK IN. so i got a $50 oil change for them to forget to put oil in. So, we call FURIOUS and they say they can give us a free oil change for next time, today I go back in to honor that free oil change and John (the manager) said he will not honor it, why? I dont know. but moral of the story they are RUDE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! read more
