Jiffy Lube - Smh ‍ they suppose to be closed - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Fridley, Minnesota

I came here a while back to get my oil change but was told I came "too early" to do an oil change because I still had oil left. However the guy mentioned that my oil was super super low. So I didn't understand why he couldn't just do it because I was already there and the oil was low already. I literally came a week later and was able to get it changed. So I'm annoyed about it especially with traveling back and forth and having to come in super early to avoid long lines. Also when I left the first time I had an odd feeling about coming back here but decided to anyways. Which now I won't be coming back here because they never gave me any papers at the end of my service (to see what they did and much it was). Which was really strange because the Jiffylube in BP always gave me papers. It seemed really shady to me and I'm just over it. Will be going back to the BP one instead from now on. read more

Emmanuel & his team had me in and out in a definite Jiffy. I had a Groupon for my oil change, and they managed to have my car done in less than ten minutes. I appreciated their timeliness, and Emmanuel was super funny and a pleasure to chat with. Only issue was how greasy my steering wheel was afterwards, not sure if they wiped it down with something or if it was just the tech's hands, but either way I had to wipe it down afterwards. read more

There service suck they move slow and they close before 6 o'clock they need different workers because if I get off work at 5pm and it says they close at 6pm and when I get there at 530pm they say they closed that is BS I hate going to this lazy jiffy lube but it's more closer to my home. read more

I needed an oil change, the Ulysses location was closed so they sent me to this one. Paul was so nice and polite! Offered me coffee while I waited, he also gave my girls a lollipop which made their day! I usually hate having to do this kind of thing especially when I have to bring my girls but the staff were so quick we didn't have to wait long at all! Arrived today (11/12/18) for an oil change at 2:10 pm. The three bays were occupied so I parked and walked in. I stood at the counter watching one of the employees as he went between the bay area and the lobby 7 times. Not once was I greeted with a hello, or even an acknowledgement I was there, for 25 minutes...and I stood at the counter next to the register the entire time. I have had all three of my current vehicles serviced here, but this will likely be the last time. The work they do is good, but keeping a person waiting this long before uttering a single word doesn't sit well with me. The three stars are for the good work they do, the -2 stars for customer service. Note: how hard is it to secure the hood after an oil change? Driving away from Jiffy Lube my hood was bouncing up and down. Pulled over and fortunately it was partially latched. I was able to open the hood and secure it fully. Shoddy work. Changes my rating to 2 stars. read more

After a few calls around to local auto service centers, Bean answered the phone at Jiffy Lube and was able to tell me about the services, rates, and various other questions. The polite tone and confidence in answers gave me all the assurance that I needed... I got over there with zero wait (first come, first served basis), and the oil change was barely 20 mins, if even. Bean took the time to explain the details of the vehicle inspection and to honestly speak with me about what was needed. THIS WAS KEY! I'm not car savvy, if you told me I needed X, Y, & Z done to my car, I wouldn't know better and I'd probably spend a lot of unnecessary money in the wrong hands. Jiffy lube gets grief as a bad provider. However, at this location, they are not only courteous, but fast and comprehensive. Your time is important and when compared with others which praise themselves for local shops who treat you well, they fall short to jiffy lube. This is about their business ethic and honesty and not about the actual work. I have to say there are very few oil change business who are honest with their work. This was not a normal circumstance by any means. The previous business who did my oil change had tightened the oil plug way too tight. This Jiffy Lube had a difficult time loosening the plug. They eventually had to use a tie rod to get the plug loose. In doing so they damaged the oil pan. Now, most places would have just 'duck taped' the plug and sent me on my way. I had to drive back to Chicago from Minneapolis. I would have been stranded if they decided to do so. Instead the General Manager, Ian, took his knowledge and superior customer service to another level. Epic customer service I have not experienced in a while. He informed me of what had transpired and owned up to the damage. Got the car to the closest dealership to get it repaired. Got me a rental car to get me around. All paid by Jiffy Lube. Updated me every step of the way. Now to most this should be the protocol when a business falls through on their work. I have not experienced many people and business who would own up to a bad situation caused by the business. The blame would be passed or try to conceal the damage. Ian and his crew were apologetic and you could tell they were truly worried. This could have been worse if they decided to run from it. Instead they were true gentlemen and took pride in their work and how they conduct themselves. Things happen and I understood bad things happen on accident. I believe they saw I wasn't going to screamed and holler about it but they also noticed how worried I was about it. I needed to back in Chicago for work and had a along drive back. Thanks to their character I am now waiting for the dealership to finish the repairs. In conclusion, I would recommend this place for your oil change services. I would come back when back in town. Would not be afraid because I know they will take care of me and their customers. Please do not avoid this Jiffy Lube due to my situation. It is rare this type of situation would happen. Instead please look at this location as having upstanding management and high character crew. Ian, if you get to read this, Thank You. Your honesty, quick thinking and compassion had truly saved a bad situation from becoming a total nightmare. I do look forward to coming to you again for oil change services. Stopped by our local Jiffy Lube for an oil change and transmission flush and although the visit took almost 2 hours altogether, the staff served me well. Very good customer service today, with difficult customer. We do take advantage of the Jiffy Lube top-off service between oil changes. The service and products keep me coming back here for what I know will be great service for our cars. read more

The service was amazing! When I pulled into the parking lot I felt welcomed by Thomas he was very respectful and tried to explain all of the answers to my questions to the best of his knowledge (he was new) ! He assured me that my vehicle would be taken good care of! The manager Ian went through different options for oil with me, I didn't even know there were so many options as i have never been asked what kind of oil wanted to use before. It was recommended that I used a synthetic oil but I was not pressured into it even though it was pricey I went with it because it seemed like he knew a lot about the oil, he also showed me my filters that looked like they had never been replaced and even gave me 20%off of them. The guys there were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable while i waited in the lobby. They washed my windows and even threw away some garbage I had in the back seat and even vacuumed! I did not expect to spend over 100 dollars today but they went well over and beyond my expectations! I will definitely return to this Jiffy lube location read more

Had a fantastic experience at this Jiffy Lube location. The workers were attentive and incredibly friendly at 7 AM. I arrived exactly at right as they opened and was out before I knew it.
