This locations is located on Vermont in Gardena has a pretty small Parking lot but I have never not found a spot. Honestly my brother use to always take my care to get an oil change I felt like they always upsold me and I would take it. But my brother got busier so I had to start going on my own. I must say they make recommendations if they feel the need to one time he told me to check my tire because the pressure was low not once have they tired to sell me on anything everything is suggested . (I know a medium amount about cars - I've changed my own oil and brakes before, but wouldn't be good enough to change my own engine) I stopped by this Jiffy Lube to get a quick oil change - it was mid-day on a Monday. The mechanics who worked there were fairly young, but were fast and professional. They were able to change my oil very quickly, automatically gave me the yelp discount without me asking, and topped of my fluids. The mechanic speaking to me was very easy to talk to - he mentioned a few things I should keep an eye out on my car, but didn't try to upsell me anything. They topped off my car with other fluids (coolant, power steering). I was in and out with a finished oil change in about 10 minutes. I plan on coming back next time! Thanks! read more

*DING!* my car went. It took me a few seconds to figure out what that was about, but the ding was a reminder to get an oil change. This isn't the first time my car has been brought to this station for that particular task, but it was mine. Came through on a random weekday afternoon and with the partial county lockdown due to the COVID-19 precautions, I wasn't surprised I was the only customer at the time. It was easy, really. They asked for the key, gave me an estimate, and was asked to sit at their outdoor lobby area. Now, I'll be honest: I never Yelped them up until the day of and I completed heeded a few of my fellow Yelper's reviews (i.e., they didn't drain the oil properly, they didn't change the filters, etc.) But I promise, I saw them draining the oil out of my car. In the continuity of being honest, I'm not sure about the oil or filter part of the job since I really couldn't tell what they were doing: a lot of my view was blocked as they worked on it. But to be fair, and just to reiterate, this isn't my car's first time here, and if I didn't have a problem then, I don't expect a problem now. They checked and filled the air on my tires (as needed) as well as vacuumed the inside of my car. That's always a plus. And a $12 discount off a Yelp check-in? YAY! I was on the freeway my low ale warning light come on. I got off the freeway following directions to my closest Jiffy Lube. I got there at about 440 on Saturday afternoon. All the screens were up except one person who is outside. I asked that person where they closed, he said yeah we're done, I pointed out that it was 440. They said they closed at five and needed an oil change. The person said to me tough luck. We are closed. Go somewhere else not sure why anyone would think this is good for their business type of person work for you you avoid this place don't support Jiffy Lube. They these horrible lazy people they open and close when they feel like it. read more

I would like to say, thank you, to the guys that were working today at 1:30 pm 8/4. Sometimes it is hard being a person not educated in the mechanics of a car. I am trying to figure out what I do and don't need and can easily be talked into doing unnecessary work and being out of money. Most often places I go to, push me to do the most things. I feel pressured or concerned if I am making the right decision. Today I drove up and asked if they could take an oil change, they said pull up, and he told me the cost I even asked "That's all" They quickly did the oil change, and he gave me the final price and it turned out to be cheaper. He didn't push me to do a bunch of extra stuff and make me feel like my car was going to break down the moment I drove off if I didn't spend another couple hundred. They were so nice and asked me if I had any questions. I felt very safe coming here and getting advice on what maintenance should be done and having them take care of it. I will be back! read more

I waited over 30 minutes just to pay and get my receipt the car was done but they had me waiting and waiting service here sucks . they first took in the lady that came after me just because they knew her and their computer system is hella slow and can't even answer a question properly the one in charge is rude the other two workers are ok the one in charge honestly need to be nicer I was asking about their cost of services and he looked at me like I was stupid and didn't answer me also didn't even give me the sticker for the next oil change and it was expensive never again poor quality and poor service read more

I don't write reviews about bad personal experiences but I felt inclined to since this wasn't right. I arrived & just requested for air in my tire. He asked if I wanted my fluids checked - I said no (because I just had service done recently). The guy reiterated that it will be just air. When I pulled up, they told me to open my hood and were doing some work in the hood. When I just asked what they were doing, the same guy that helped me got defensive & said, "We aren't gonna charge you relax". I literally didn't say anything but politely ask what they were doing. It's literally my car & I asked for air but y'all were doing stuff that I didn't even get clarification for because I was automatically dismissed. After finding it to be just a bit too cumbersome trying to get an appointment for a regular oil change just down the street from my house at the nearby Pep Boys I usually go to, I instead decided to stop by this Jiffy Lube in Gardena, since it was the nearest one to me at the time. Well, let me tell you, the guys here were all too attentive to my car, with window washing, checking the air in my tires, topping off my wiper washer fluids, and using Mobil oil as their standard. The store manager even applied a discount, even though I did not have a coupon, and best of all, I was in and out in under 10 minutes, NO WAITING! It also should be noted, thanks to weeks of trying to get in on an appointment (which is now required at Pep Boys), me, trying to stay loyal, ended up running my car to almost empty on oil, simply because they make it so difficult to get a simple oil change, at my neighborhood Pep Boys. Ugh Ugh EEEK. Even though this Jiffy Lube is a lot farther away from my home, versus the nearby Pep Boys, I will be driving down to this Jiffy Lube from now on. Good vibes, great service. I came in for an oil change and the service manager/advisor did not give me options and immediately told me the total over $90. I asked what did it include he stated it was for a synthetic oil change and he was giving me a $20 coupon. I told him I've never paid that much for an oil change. He stated that my car needed synthetic and can't take synthetic blend. I pulled out my old Jiffy Lube history and told him that I have a service history and have always gotten a synthetic blend. After he looked at my service history which confirmed that I have gotten synthetic blend at different Jiffy Lube locations he got an attitude. Very rude. I'm a female and he made me very uncomfortable and I didn't want to argue with him as i had my young kids in the car. After he rang me up I asked do they offer a coupon for the synthetic blend he was very rude and said NO only coupons for synthetic blend. So after I left I pulled over and looked up online and in fact there are coupons for synthetic blend for $15 off. I paid the full price and was denied a coupon that is offered. But had i gotten the synthetic which he demanded that i needed then a coupon would have been applied. I didn't want to go back and discuss my concerns because of my horrible experience. I would not recommend going back to that location. They ripped me off and gave me the typical mechanic getting over on a female vibes but I know my vehicle and the service advisor got an attitude because he was wrong! read more

Lil pricey to get my oil change done here other places seem around 80-100 for a full synthetic oil change and they charged me $140 minus the Yelp check in came out to $120. Only reason I came here cause I needed to get it done ASAP. I'll probably come back if my regular mechanic is busy. Btw my car I took was a 2018 GMC Sierra Full Synthetic Oil Change. read more

I'm always wary when going to get my car looked at or serviced because sometimes I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. But the guys at this particular Jiffy Lube were not only very nice, but super quick with the oil change which was very awesome since I go to college down the way from the place and was slightly worried about being late. The guys even told me that the high mileage oil (my car has over 200,000 miles on it!) that I was getting before wasn't necessary for the type of engine I had and was too thick therefore lessening my gas milage too. Which surprised me, since I had gone to another Jiffy Lube and they had told me the complete opposite of that (probably to get more money out of me! Grr!) Anyway! These guys are super nice and they didn't have to tell me that: they could have just kept me with the more expensive oil, but they recommended that the other oil was just as good for my car and more efficient. After contacting Jiffy Lube corporate, the owner of this location promptly responded and offered to rectify the situation. I feel that was great customer service on her part. She was so professional, helpful and sweet. I feel that she was genuinely concerned about the level of service I received at her service center. I also have to clarify that my oil filter was in fact changed. The first mechanic I had look at my filter had advised me that it was not replaced. The owner, when she responded, assured me that oil filters are always changed. So I went to get a second opinion and took the car back to my dealer and his mechanic told me my oil filter was replaced. I still do not like the service received at this location, would not ever go here for service again and I would not recommend it to anyone. The Jiffy Lube in Bellflower is fantastic and I should have went there since that's the one I normally go to. read more

Any other devices which is good, (I came in for an oil change and thats all I want) i liked the place and the guys, but reason im giving it three stars was cause I hD a $15 dollar off coupon and they didn't want to honor it cause "it doesn't applied to the $29.99 price they have" also o showed him the "yelp check-in" discount and it didn't apply as well.
