When I pulled up the manager said that the coupon is not for their location, but he will still honor it. When I checked the flyer he was right. I was still skeptical and thought they will still try to find something wrong with my car and sell me on it. To my surprise, they performed the oil change quickly but thoroughly. False advertising and bad vibes on this place! They have a 74.99 full synthetic oil change advertised on their billboard. When I pulled up the technician gave me a quote of $79.99. When I pointed it out to them they were like "oh they changed that already" with a big frown on his face. I didn't argue it any further because the 3 technicians there had a really bad vibe and I didn't want to have any confrontations. I did end up using a cupon that gave me $15.00 off. Im not complaining much about the prices because the cupons are easily accessible but their customer service is the worst. If you check in on Yelp, there's currently a $10 off coupon. Unfortunately the owner "Jim" passed away last summer, he was always a talkative fellow. Now a days, the employees are little more laid back and not overselling you on everything (filters, wipers) back when Jim was still around. Just left from my oil change, they were super fast and easy, that part was great. BUT; I went in having a large handful of quarters sitting in my console under my radio, came out and all of sudden it's nothing but pennies and nickels. I've been saving up that change for a while, so I noticed it IMMEDIATELY. Even though the servicing was fast, I don't appreciate being stolen from, even if it's a small amount of change. I probably make less than each of them per hour, so they have some bad people for technicians if they're cool with stealing from their customers. And again, I genuinely appreciate how kind the person who helped me was and how fast but that is a pretty low blow. read more

I really appreciate this particular Jiffy Lube. I've been here twice and I think they've made a loyal costumer in me. Both times I've came with coupons and they honored it without hesitation, which goes a long way when you're getting synthetic oil. This last time, they went above and beyond -- I mean where can you get an oil change where they will vacuum your car and wipe down your windows during your service?! I've never had an oil change experience like this before which I really appreciated! Upon the advice of my husband I went to Jiffy lube just for an oil change for my 2016 Kia Rio. When I pulled up a mechanic greeted me and asked what type of service I needed and I said just an oil change. The guy smiled and told me he could do it but it will be $60 for an oil change. I guess he must've thought I was born yesterday or something cause I get my oil changed regularly at Chevron Lube in Torrance and they only charge me $29.99. We normally have our mechanic do our oil change but to be honest it's a hassel since I need to drop off my car and pick it up after work. My husband and I took both our trucks to get serviced. They were done so fast that they even parked our car while we finished our breakfast accross the street. They are fast. Boom, Boom, Boom fast. We saw so many cars rolling in and then poof out they go. We were laughing at how many hours we wasted before and how our usual mechanic is obviously extremely slow. They checked our tires for air, topped off my anti freeze, did my oil change and even vacuumed my floor :p. The person in charge let me know that my car battery would need replacing soon and that my husband's back tires were due for a new pair. Something my "honest" mechanic never checks or warns me about. 03/01/2016 First time here: This area is way too expensive for synthetic oil, almost $100. When I went there, they werent that busy. There's a seating area outside, not the normal Jiffy Lube atmosphere. Not coming back to this place EVER. Please do not do your oil change here. I did my last 3 oil changes to my 2 cars here when a customer of mine told me that he caught these guys not changing his oil filter after 2 or 3 oil changes he said he marked it and saw it was the exact same one. So after I heard this I decided to check my oil of one of my cars I just took there and it was filthy and dark and super thick. Either they did not change my oil at all or the oil they have coming out of their hoses is the same dirty oil they take out of cars. I had to change my oil and filter myself that same day it was disgusting. I'm not sure if all jiffy lubes are the same but this one should be shut down immediately. read more

I started going to this JiffyLube this year, greatest decision I ever did! Sooo, the guy who usually does my oil change was on a vacation earlier this year hence me finding myself on JiffyLube...after the accumulated miles and checking if I needed the service (which I did) I went in, smooth and all like usual--up until 2days ago after I got my oil change....for some reason, my car wouldn't start---mind you, I called them and they were great enough to send their guy to my location and take a look under the hood (which they did) FF triple A's accredited auto shops SUCKED (yes, it doesn't reflect triple A and all but still, these shops wouldn't even do shit if you don't pay them for it) FForward, after geting my car towed at one of this shops, JiffyLube ppl were nice enough to take my car in, go to the dealer to order the parts needed AND drop me off Without no extra whatever other people would've added, they didn't. They pretty much did what they needed to do with the oil change and it was fast and efficient. Some feedback would be for them to get there before the opening time to start getting ready. I got there early and no one was there until the actual opening time so I waited in my car until they got ready. I was parked off to the side on one of the parking spaces and never once was I waved in to get in line for the oil change. It wasn't until another car came and drove straight up and I noticed they let him in. I finally got in line but it defeated the purpose of getting there early to have someone who arrived 30 mins after me go before me. Once I was in, I felt it was kind of a bait and switch once they charge you. It was definitely a bit higher than I expected as they told me it's because my car only takes synthetic and looking at the manual a synthetic blend would of sufficed. I don't know if I would return due to the dealer being a bit less expensive. read more

There's this old man, Middle Eastern, who speaks his mind, a colorful and friendly character. My Isuzu SUV's hood doesn't work right and it doesn't pop when you pull on the lever under the steering wheel. To make the hood pop (so you can stick your fingers inside to lift the thing) you have to pull up on the hood a bit with finger tips. I know this, he didn't. I do my thing and pop the hood and completely open it. I didn't realize the guy was standing in front of the hood all this time (there was a figure standing in front as if stuck to the bumper come to think of it) waiting for me to pop the hood so "he" can open it. Apparently, I go about and pop it and open the thing while he was staring at the hood like a statue waiting for the thing to pop, and I opened the hood as if showing him how to open it. Then he stares at me sideways and in a quiet voice he says, "I know how to open hood" (Because his business is opening hoods! I see now!), and he appeared to be ticked off. I immediately burst into laughter after I realized what happened and gave him a soft slug on the shoulder and told him was stuck (as if that made him feel better). After the slug he smiled, we had a nice laugh. God, talk about unintentionally pushing someone's button. No complaints about the speed of service, nice bunch of folks (Although my eyes narrow when they tell me I need a new fan belt and the injectors cleaned. I don't drive this thing often so I passed on it). read more

Came to get a oil change waited about 20 mins while they were working on other cars. When l pull up the manager asks if I've ever been to this location before, l said no. He walks to the computer and says my oil change will be $90. He said for 1 my car takes 8 quarts of oil and 2nd it ONLY takes a special blended oil. I told him THIS car uses Regular oil, he refused to service my car unless l got the $90 oil. Now this is my car, I've had it for 9 years, 4 oil changes a year for 9 years is 36 times I've taken my car to be serviced. I KNOW what type of oil THIS car takes. Obviously l did not pay $90 so l went down the street to another place and paid the normal $30. Any who that was my experience here. read more

I waited a few minutes, got out of my car to approach the mechanic not assisting anyone and he literally walked further away from me. Needed an oil change so I stopped at this Jiffy Lube which is close to where I live. As soon as I arrived the guy there told me where to go with my car and came up and asked what I needed. He was polite and very professional. I told him I needed an oil change and I also have a coupon and he asked to look at the coupon and right away told me it's a valid coupon and there's no problem honoring it. During the changing of my oil he showed me my old oil filter and showed me the new replacement oil filter. He also brought over my old air filter and asked me if I wanted to replace it and I agreed and before he did so be showed me the new filter that he would be using. He did say I needed my transmission fluid changed, but there was no pressure on his end trying to push that service on me which I liked. The place is clean and decent looking. Their waiting area however is outside, but I did t mind it. The service and professionalism was great. I highly recommend this place. read more

Definitely will not come back to this jiffy lube. The owner was rude and his employees did not acknowledge me once while I was there. Once I stepped out my car the first thing the manager told me was my car needed synthetic oil and he would refuse to give me a normal oil change that I have received at other jiffy lubes before because he didn't want to be blamed for the car "messing up." Once I refused service, he immediately became rude and snapped at me for closing my own hood of the car because they "perform full service here". I have never felt like I was being punked at a jiffy lube before except this one. I'll stick to the jiffy lube in manhattan beach. It's a drive away but I'm definitely willing to drive further for better service where I don't feel hustled and forced to pay more than what I need to pay. read more

Came to do a regular oil change on my dad's 2006 Toyota Tacoma and the service was great. Edwin, the service writer who attended and providing good customer service, excellent communication skills. The service I was provided on the Tacoma was again great fast and on point towards getting me out the shop. They did their inspections and told me what else was needed to be done on the evolve which is great to know for future reference. Owner acted like I needed to get extra things changed in my car because it needed to be done.they have a sign stating that oil changes are $27.99 but did not honor that offered when asked. I used the yelp check in of course to save money with was $15 and that too was not honored. Finally I was about to save $5 from jiffy lube website... This jiffy lube is a disgrace. One good thing the service was fast but I might have to go to another place just to double check if the even changed my oil. Avoid this jiffy lube at all cost. read more
