Slow as molasses. No one is hustling to get customers out of there. Definitely does not live up to the Jiffy Lube 15 minute oil change.

I brought my vehicle here in order to pass inspection. The techs charged me 6p bucks just hook up my vehicle to a scanner they never actually looker at the vehicle. They stated I needed two parts related to the emissions and some engine work. After working on it p0420 appeared the owner refused to give me back all my money despite the fact that his techs wasted my time since all they did was run the codes without actually looking at the vehicle. Despite all the owner gawking about his company being a reputable buisness his business is anything but reputable. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! On June 29th 2022 I visited Jiffy Lube store #1468 in Glen Bernie, MD for a routine oil change on my 2020 Hyundai Sonata with approximately 43,000 miles on it. On Friday July 15th as I was driving my car's check engine and oil light came on. Immediately upon realizing these lights were on, I began to pull over. As I attempted to pull over the car began to skip, make abnormal and loud clunking sounds, and would not accelerate. After pulling over, the car would not turn over. I'm lucky I did not get dangerously stuck in the middle of Richie Highway. I had it towed to the local Hyundai dealer. After evaluating the situation, the Hyundai Technician came to the conclusion that the engine was seized. The cause of this seizure was a plugged oil filtration system. The jiffy lube employee improperly installed a plug into the filter system thus making the filter system inoperable. On Friday July 22nd, I visited the jiffy lube store asking to speak to the owner, where I was turned away because "no manager or owner was in". I proceeded to call several times on Saturday July 23rd but was unable to reach anyone. When I finally got through to a manager, he took down my information. Two full days later, on July 25th was when the owner finally contacted me. The owner said he sent a Tech over to look at the car and stated that he "doesn't think the engine is seized", despite receiving extensive documentation and pictures from Hyundai showing the improper plug installation that caused the permanent and irreversible damage. The owner's proposed solution to this was to have the car towed back to Jiffy Lube where they would replace the oil cooler housing and send me on my way. I told him that was not acceptable since the Hyundai dealer determined that the engine has permanent damage and has provided proof of that. The engine needs to be replaced and Jiffy Lube should pay for the damages since a Jiffy Lube employee's negligence caused this damage. The owner stated that he "would not cover any damages or maintenance that Hyundai completes." The owner reached out again on July 27th stating that he "found" a used engine in New Jersey with 8,000 miles on it, and that if I authorize for him to tow the vehicle back to his shop one of his techs will complete the change. I told him absolutely not; I do not feel comfortable with anyone completing any work on the car except the Hyundai dealer using their certified technicians. Considering that his employee's carelessness is what caused the issue in the first place. I told the owner if he is refusing payment on the engine replacement that Hyundai has to complete, that I will be proceeding legally. His response was "that's your right." I have now been without a car for 2 weeks and was not offered a rental, payment, or any compensation from Jiffy Lube. I am making a car payment on a car I cannot use. I have never dealt with such lack of cooperation from an owner of a business before. I understand that mistakes happen, but a business owner refusing to own up and pay for their own employee's mistakes is where I have a problem. Jiffy Lube has insurance for their stores to cover issues like this; meanwhile I am 25-year-old, single, teacher, who he expects to front this bill of $10,000 or more. read more

Racism: The workers are great however there was a small racial incident that occurred and it was sad to witness. The woman at the front desk named Mindy asked a customer who was a white woman to show her phone and make it "look like" she was showing her an email in order for her to receive a Veteran's discount. She was asking for this discount for her husband so I guess that's why she didn't have to do anything. A black man comes in to ask "can I add my veterans discount " and he was asked to write down his military ID say his email and confirm his email, now the only thing that's questionable is why was the woman not required to do anything while the other man had to do all this work to confirm that he hisself is a veteran. It's sad and disappointing. If the policy is to confirm emails and military ID, then they both should have done it equally. read more

Had to take my car to the dealership after this jiffy lube changed my oil. They didn't clean my car properly or tighten my oil drain plug. I had massive oil leak and am fortunate that I noticed before my car engine was ruined. Jiffy Lube will take no responsibility for their negligence. BEWARE!!! I went to Jiffy Lube because I always saw something stating that you get a free tire rotation with an oil change, which, once I got there found out that wasn't true. But, I stayed because I figured why burn up gas. First off... I was charged for a "plug" that no other place had charged me for. It was only about $6 but, hey... it was my $6. I wrote a review and was called back by the owner and explained my issues (the tire rotation and the plug). He said he would give me a discount when I came in for my next oil change and would also give me a discount on the tire rotation. At that time, the deal sounded good to me... UNTIL... I was having issues with my car (only about a week and a half later) and happened to look under the hood and found out, not only was the cover not put on, the oil was BLACK. It had never been changed. When my car was towed to get the problem it was having resolved (spark plugs and coils), they discovered that there was a serious leak where the whole bottom pan was covered with oil and that that "plug" wasn't tight. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS JIFFY LUBE. If you go for an oil change, check and make sure the oil is actually changed. Don't be like me and pay over $100 for an oil change that doesn't happen. I drove here for quick oil change after leaving the DMV. I parked and before I could make it in the door a employee (short white dude with glasses) John met me half way to the entrance presented oil change options and price ranges, asked me for my keys and my car was in the bay within 12 minutes. They also have a nice waiting area with hot coffee. More than anything it was John that made my customer experience pleasant and hassle free, because of his professionalism and attention to detail this Jiffy lube center has made a repeat customer out of me read more

Went in on 1/13/2018 for an oil change- was upsold for radiator service- since its been such a bad winter I figured why not - This morning on the way into work I lost heat in the Jeep and white smoke started blowing out from under my hood and from the exhaust - I made it to work and popped the hood - the upper radiator hose was no longer attached - I lost all my antifreeze - and risked damage to my vehicle - I called the shop and there was no answer and the 800 customer service line was not open yet- so I left feedback through their website I will update when/if I hear back from them - however I would not suggest using this location. read more

Disgusted!!!! I brought my 2012 Honda CR-V to Jiffy Lube #1468 in Glen Burnie, MD for a signature oil change. I was traveling out of town for business. All the bays were empty when I arrived and was greeted very nicely and told it should only be about 10 minutes for completion. After approximately 40 minutes and other customers entering and leaving I noticed by car still in the bay with a number of techs surrounding my vehicle with flashlights. Then I saw a tech grab her keys and leave. I then started to get really nervous and inquired about my vehicle. They stalled with me to 5 minutes then finally had someone speak with me. Apparently someone dropped my engine oil cap in my engine compartment and it could not be found. They told me the woman I saw leaving the JF was running down the road to an auto-part store to find a replacement. No-one ever informed me of a problem and would have they just covered it up if I did not ask? I was finally brought into the bay and explained by a senior technician that they removed all my skid plates under my vehicle and still could not locate the cap. I expressed my concern with a lost oil cap bouncing around in my engine compartment. They dismissed my concerns as almost foolish. As I drive on my way back home approximately 20 minutes North on 895 at speeds on + 55 mph I start hearing a rattling sound in my undercarriage and scraping sound. I pull over immediately on an interstate highway with speeding cars in excess of 55 mph to check my vehicle. I notice I screws missing in my skid plates and one had come loose and was dragging on the ground at highway speed. In addition while underneath my vehicle in the engine bay I found my oil cap. I drive my car for work ~35,000 miles a year for work. I depend on its reliability for my safety on the highway and on the weekends when I am driving my two small children around!!! I am severely disappointed in the haphazard condition your employees left my car in which has caused extensive damage to my vehicle but to also put my life in jeopardy by having lost parts bouncing around in my engine compartment. Aren't your employees supposed to be trained enough to if they cause a problem, notify the customer and remeady the situation to the standards of the vehicle how it was brought into your business? The 1st word in your values is QUALITY. I did not received quality I received a damaged and dangerous vehicle. I have numerous photos showing the damage to my vehicle and I am requesting to be contacted back for repair of my vehicle. read more

First time I have taken my car to Jiffy Lube. Everyone there was professional. They thoroughly explained all services we asked about. They took us to their small waiting area while they did the oil change. It didn't take but about 25 minutes. I enjoyed a cup of hot coffee which was good in the waiting area. One of the employees there was cleaning up. He was very careful to use Lysol wipes on the credit card machine, counter top. He checked the bathroom and coffee station to make sure they were all clean. Good employees, and a clean location. read more

No complaints here. I was greeted by two gentlemen and they were ready to service me immediately. Ended up Here since my usual Bob Bell Hyundai couldn't service my Hyundai as usual - same day/Express service is NEVER possible at Bob Bell Glen Burnie or any of them for that matter. Anywho, this Jiffy Lube got me in and out and even dealt professionally with my anal antics. Kenny explained everything and addressed all of my questions regardless of how irky I was :-).
