This location is intentionally using faulty equipment that can under fill your oil. Then they refuse to provide documentation when it happens. On 8/18, around 1pm, I got my oil changed here on my way to work. The process was normal and I continued on to work. When I pulled into my driveway after work that night, my oil light came on. When I checked the oil, the level was so low the dipstick was bone dry. There were no leaks or signs of it previously. The store was closed, so I contacted them first thing in the morning. I called the shop around 10am 8/19 and told them the situation. They told me to bring it in and they'd check it out. I asked if they really wanted me to drive a car with an unknown amount of oil, they said they would send a tech to check it out. The tech arrived and told me their oil dispenser has been having problems and pumping a bunch of air. He checked for leaks, didn't find any, and started adding oil. It ended up being 1.5 quarts low, about 30% of the indicated volume. I told him I'd like documentation about the problem from the shop and he told me to follow him back. When I arrived I met the manager, Ryan. I asked for a note on my paperwork that stated it was under filled yesterday and properly filled today. He mumbled "yeah, sure". They then proceed to do another oil change and started waiving me out of the bay. I told Ryan I needed paperwork and he mumbled something about the computer being used and to just pull forward. Ryan eventually comes out with a blank receipt with basic date/time/mileage, and no note about the low fill. I then say 7-8 times that I would like it documented for my records. Each time he gives me an excuse, "it wasn't even that low", "you didn't even drive that far", "it's not a big deal, don't worry about it", "I've been a mechanic for X amount of years", "what are you worried about". Each time I say I just want it documented for my own records. He eventually points at the mileage on the new receipt and says "do the math if you're that worried about it". I then say "why are you being such and a--hole about it? I just want it documented". He responds "I can tell this really bothers you, but I won't give you a hug". At this point I know he's completely incapable of handling this in a mature or professional manner. I called the corporate line to be put in touch with the franchise owner of this location. They took my statement and opened a case, stating the franchise will get back to me within 72 hours. It's now been 5 days without a response. 2 sentences on my paperwork would have saved everyone some headaches, or better yet, double checking your work when you know you're using faulty equipment. read more

Do not come here. I usually use jiffy lube for my routine oil changes, but will be finding a new place. I came for my last oil change and the tech told me I was due for spark plug replacement. They quoted me $160 for this service. I came 2 weeks later for the spark plug replacement and was quoted 35 minutes for completion. This is when they told me the price would be more than double what they quoted- over $400. Wtf. I left immediately after this. How dare you prey on vehicle owners by throwing around numbers that are not accurate. Bullshit. If you don't know the price, you shouldn't be quoting the price end of story. This place is where I worked for two years in the early nineties. It used to be good then, not now. The last time I was there they drained my oil and the told me they didn't have the full synthetic my car calls for. I told them the blend would not do so they said they would send someone to the auto parts store to get the correct oil. I watched and nobody left the building, but about ten minutes later a tech came up out of the lower bay with five quarts of full synthetic. These bottles were a bit grimy. I have no proof but I'm quite sure they just took old bottles out of the trash and filled them with whatever. Needed an oil change and this was convenient. I was greeted and was given options for the oil to use. (One, a synthetic blend that my vehicle does not use.) The employees were friendly. I checked their app for coupons and found a $10 off and showed it to them. They happily took it. I paid and was sent on my way. Leaving from a different direction than arriving, I saw a sign, in front of the building, $25 off the same service. so, I made a U-turn. I was greeted by a different employee and asked to speak with the original. He could not be found. So, I explained the situation. I was told, not asked to go to the waiting room, where he would get with me when he can. After a five-minute wait, I was refunded $15 and dismissed without an apology, explanation and even have a good day. I just went to Jiffy Lube at the Gresham location. I asked for an oil change. I had a 25$ coupon for an oil change and asked that they honor that coupon. they sent me to the waiting area and drove my car into the bay. I was not told how much the oil change would cost even after I gave my information at the desk. The tech came back and asked if I wanted to change my oil filter or cabin filter and quoted 32$ for the cabin filter which I opted to do and 14$ for a new transition cap. when all was said and done I was handed a bill for $175! for an oil change after my $25 coupon. l looked at my receipt and saw they had charged me $47 for the cabin filter and $112 for my oil change. I was shocked and feel misled. I told the tech this and was told by him that we had discussed prices 3x and I should not be shocked by the price. I will never use Jiffy Lube again and feel that that I was tricked. don't learn your lesson the hard way like me- avoid this business. read more

I've been here since before 8 when they opened @ 8:07am. They pulled three cars into the three bays. It's now 8:57 and not a single car has moved. There are 12 more people in line for almost an hour. Every time I've been in for a service they always go above and beyond with hospitality and service. You can tell that they really value getting you back on the road in good condition. If you ever need an oil change, filter change, or rotors and break pads, I would highly recommend this Jiffy Lube. For someone who also isn't very car savvy, they also take care in explaining what's going on and how maybe a cheaper option would suit you better. I called ahead of time to make sure that the closing hour was 6pm despite the holiday season, which they said it was. A very busy time of year for everyone, and especially hard for me to get things done considering that I take care of my grandfather, full time, who has dementia. When I called they said that it would take about 45mins to complete changing my spark plugs. I arrived at 5:03pm, and after looking at my vehicle, they told me it would actually take 30mins to complete and they wouldn't be able to get it done in time for closing (which again was at 6pm... an hour later). Employees meandering around, no one working on that car and I am sitting in my car watching. I begin to read YELP reviews about this place. Yikes!!! So many unhappy customers with responses from the district manager. I mentioned this to Derek. He challenges me..."do you want his PHONE NUMBER???" No, I am going to post on YELP. Derek does not have acceptable customer relationship skills. He needs some training in how to interact with the people that pay their hard earned money to have a service completed accurately and in a timely manner. An employee named Sam was the only positive interaction in this entire experience. He gets it. He provided great customer interaction with me, answered my questions and Did the work on my car. He thanked me for my business when I left, calling me by my first name. Thanks, Sam! When in for simple oil change and listening to manager belittling his employees...they took off glove box to change cabin filter and were unable to install back in after 30 minutes. The manager took over and he actually took pliers and BROKE off parts of my glove box to make it fit. After he walked away it FELL off !!! He broke it off! My wife just went to the Gresham Jiffy lube with a $25 off coupon. She never got an upfront quote on the oil change. They asked her if she wanted a cabin filter and quoted $30+ dollars, which in itself is an amazing over-charge, but she opted for it anyway out of time. Why not, I'm all ready here. When all was said and done she was charged a total of, after a -$25 coupon deduction, $175.55. Whew! $112.99 for the oil change alone including the -$25 coupon discount. So $137.99 for a simple full synthetic oil change! $46.99 was charged for the $16-25 cabin filter that she was quoted $30. Then a few other charges. When she questioned these charges, she was treated with disdain. Just another dumb woman attitude? Possibly, but they definitely argued giving her a feeling of your loss for being naive and said," what do you want us to do?". This is outrageously over priced, a rip off, dishonest and just rude. This made my wife feel small and we believe they knowingly took advantage of us. I would remove the single star if I could and refuse to ever use ANY Jiffy Lube again. read more

I went in for an oil change that took nearly an hour...not jiffy at all. They said on the service checklist that they completed an exterior window wash, which they didn't. They check tire pressure, but barely 1 day later my tire pressure light came back on. Although my car said air filters needed to be checked, they did not show me my air filter and marked it okay. They didn't even look at my wiper blades before marking okay. Even with a $15 coupon, the price was twice what it was the last time I went to Jiffy Lube. If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't even care that I'm about to go full Karen mode. I have never seen such a lazy, uncaring crew. I got my oil changed here and had to wait an hour once I was already in the garage. I guess they had to have my oil brought from a different location since it's a German car, so I suppose that's fine. Everything went okay and I went on my merry way. As I was driving down the interstate the undercarriage of my car fell off. As I was looking at it, there were no screws to be found. I sure find it odd that not a SINGLE screw was in its place, considering how many there were. These people didn't bother to put ANY screws back in and just popped it back on, deciding that was good enough. This is the first time I had my car serviced since I purchased it so I know for a fact it wasn't an issue before this. It ruined the undercarriage of my car and will cost about $500 to fix this and I'm sure they will do nothing to fix the damage they caused. I would also like to note that I was nothing but polite during the whole process and didn't complain once about waiting or the fact that they had the original price wrong, they told me $40 cheaper than it really was.
