Greatest, Service, Ever, Every time. I've been a customer here for years and for Plenty of reasons. My current rave is about how winter quickly approaches and all three of our vehicles need a looking at before it's really necessary. I was able to schedule a drop off time online. I even received a text reminder so I wouldn't forget. I'm like that. At my scheduled time, my wife and I dropped off the vehicle and I told them about some grinding noise I'd heard in the back brakes. Gave them the keys and we went shopping. Before we were done, I received a call that all the work was done and I could pick up my vehicle. I also received an email of the report from the inspection. All good and the brakes still had a fair amount left. Win, win. Two to go. read more

I found that one of my tires (that I'd purchased from Costco) was losing air a lot more quickly than I could reasonably top off. Although I had a tire rotation appointment at Costco later in the week, I didn't feel safe trying to keep the tire in a safe condition until then. So, I called Les Schwab to see if they offered tire repair services. The person I spoke with said that the did, and that the tires didn't have to be purchased from Les Schwab for them to do repairs. He also said that a tire repair takes about 15 minutes for the glue to dry (impressive that they actually do a proper patch and not just use a temporary rope-type plug), and they could get me in and out right away if I came now. So, I headed over about 15 minutes later, and, well, my wait was definitely longer than what the person on the phone told me. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, I went to the counter to ask for my keys back (I planned on driving to an auto parts store to get a temporary plug kit). The person at the counter was very helpful, and went to get my keys. She said that the technician literally just picked my car up, and asked if she wanted me to stop the tech from starting, or if they should proceed. She said that tire repairs generally take 25 to 30 minutes, and she apologized for me having gotten misinformation over the phone. I opted to have them complete the repair, which the technician did in exactly 15 minutes. Here's the part that absolutely blew me away. The tire repair was free of charge. I asked why it was free, and the staff said that it is a service they do, and that they believe in doing the right thing. Free tire repairs? With no catch? In this day and age? Wow! That is awesome, but not surprising. Les Schwab also allows customers to return unused tire chains the following spring for a full refund, too. It is very reassuring to know that there are still good business out there who care about their customers and are interested in operating ethically. read more

Kelly is who helped me at the front desk and he was super helpful, efficient and friendly! I waited for maybe 30 minutes for them to finish up my car in their waiting area that's super tidy and spacious! When my car was done they covered the cost of my tires for me! Came in FOUR MINUTES after they opened for A NAIL in my tire was told an HOUR by Kelly. It was right before I had been waiting for TWO hours that I came up to the counter to ask about an update. Kelly then proceeds to tell me "you haven't even been waiting an hour". What a joke. Then all of a sudden after I ask what's the hold up my car gets moved. Horrible customer service. I am highly impressed with this shop. I had to be in Eugene for my sons soccer tournament by 11:30am. I arrived 5 minutes before the shop opened at 8 am, and a line was already formed. They opened the doors, and all staff were at a computer checking customers in. My car was checked in within 5 minutes of the door opening. Their service has always impressed me; you could literally eat off the floors, as they keep their stores spotless... and this location is no exception. I've been a loyal customer ever since I took my vehicle into a Les Schwab store in Chehalis, WA when my vehicle's annunciator indicated that I had low pressure in one tire: the employee who checked my vehicle said the pressure was normal, but the pressure-sensing device needed some attention and minutes after my vehicle was checked, I was on my way -- the dealer refusing to take payment for such a minor "fix." Some people love les Schwab and others talk so much smack. Now they might not always have the heat prices, they also may have had some issues for people in the past. For me though they have always been solid. They will always repair flat tires or patch tires when they can and never charge you... even when the tires aren't theirs. So for that reason I always am very appreciative for what they do. They have a clean environment comfortable chairs, free coffee(horrible) and popcorn. Be careful when you take your car here for a tire swap out this winter. I took my truck in to have the tires swapped out for winter tires, and while they may be fast in changing your tires out, they certainly don't have any quality control in place. Before I drove away, I noticed that my and those aluminum valve caps were not reinstalled, so I went back in to ask for them back. After scrambling around for a while they finally came up with four of them, which I then had to go out to my truck and remove their cheap plastic caps to put my original caps back on. After I started up my car, I rotated to the tire pressure panel on my information screen, and all the tires were at least double pressure what they should've been. The proper inflation pressure was 30 psi, and after installation, the PSI ranged anywhere from 48 psi up to 65 psi which is clearly incorrect. Quality control seems to be an issue at this location, so take your vehicle there with caution read more

I blew my front tire after my boyfriend's friends decided large rocks would look terrific along the border of his large driveway. Two other tires were slightly low I found out later, before my warning system alerted me. Luckily my truck is unique in that it has its own factory built-in air compressor. Without an appointment I drove to Les Schwab & they fixed everything for free & quicker than I anticipated. Purchased rims and tires about six months ago. The vibrations and handling was incredibly bad. This is on a Civic with just over 40k that had a fantastic ride prior to my visit. I brought it to the location on Broadway and was told to take it back to this location - they wouldn't even look at it. So, scheduling off work got the car in and they put spacers between the rims and axle. That should have been my first red flag. Things were better but still vibrating. Brought it back again - balanced. Still vibrating. Tried another store - told to bring it back to this one. More balancing. Then, they replaced three of the four tires. Still vibrating and handling horribly. If I still had the old tires/wheels they would be back on the car. Not a good experience at all, not good quality for the money paid. Staff were very friendly but there is only so much time I can take off from work to remedy this and I've learned to live with the vibrations and handling. read more

I I'm giving Les Schwab 5 stars because I came here with a flat tire that I could not pump up because I used foam that clogged the stem. They helped me even though they were closed. The guy stopped what he was doing, and unscrewed the stem, pump air in the tire, and fought hard to put the stem back while air was gushing out of it. How It Works: New Storage Customers You can either schedule an appointment online for a seasonal changeover or simply come in whenever it's convenient. When you make the appointment or check in for service, let us know you'd like to store your winter tires with us and we'll get the process rolling. Once we've changed over your set of tires, we'll prepare the set that's headed to storage with a special tracking label and safely transport them to our secure and dry tire storage facility. That's it! How It Works: Returning Storage Customers When the weather starts to shift again, you'll receive an email with a unique link to schedule an appointment at the same location. Not sure why I didn't update recently. Still, as usual, 5 stars. Why? I have been here (and several locations) and the customer service is their primary focus. I am sure there are flaws (from reading the reviews) with quality control at times and that is not acceptable. From my standpoint, they have been nothing but helpful even repairing items for free as a walk-in. No appointment and they look busy as heck. I need new tires for the Frontier anyway. Going to be upgrading to something a little bigger for off road... will need new shocks/springs....alignment. And snow tires. ;) read more

After calling the day before to ensure that my next day tire install would be possible, given I wanted a specific tire, I was assured (verbal phone call, not message, not text) that the tires would be delivered later that afternoon, (Friday, 3/17) in anticipation of my Sat appointment. I live in Seattle, important detail... I arrive on Sat in Gresham, to be told (after I see my car go up on the rack and then come back down) that the tires ARE NOT at the store and can they replace with another tire. Some unexplainable mix up was the reason provided. I was extremely clear on the phone, that I wanted to replace the Yokohama tires that were currently on the car, not get sold a Schwab alternative that was in stock. This was all that was possible for the Sat appointment (alternative tire) thus I got to drive 2.5 hours back home with no new tires. Frustrating that this will sever a pretty long-standing relationship: While in mother-land Portland, seems like there could have been efforts to call other stores or make some type of arrangement: No options were given aside from making do with a completely different tire that was onsite. I have an AWD vehicle--pretty critical I trust the mileage I can get from a tire that has proven itself (two other sets of these on the vehicle since I bought brand new in 2015). I was frustrated to get the "woman treatment" about what tire I wanted and why I could not "just deal" with what was in stock, same tire/also rated at 65K (left out touring option reflective of the Yokohama tire I had requested): Not all women are clueless about cars/tires and can spot BS when they experience it! We were traveling through and got caught up in a snowstorm! We called several places and Les Schwab got us in faster than they originally anticipated. We purchased chains and they put them on for a small fee. The only downside was that within 20 miles down the road, one of the bands keeping the chains on one of the tires snapped off- we had to use rope (and stop every few miles to tighten) to get us to the next town with a Walmart and purchase additional bands. Happy they helped us out, not so happy about the poor quality of the band (or how they put that one on). read more

I dropped my car off at 8am to get new tires mounted, which I already brought with me. I got quoted $250 for the job. The sales rep assured me that they'll work endlessly and will be able to get it done that night. I'm a nurse driving all day seeing patient at home. Tomorrow is Christmas eve, and snow storm is due to come in the following day. I got a call at 6pm from the rep saying they aren't able to take care of my car until the following Monday, five days later. Turns out the reason for their inability to assist me today or tomorrow, was simply because I did not purchase the tires from them directly. The reps admitted to that. None of this was ever communicated to me. Now I get to drive in the snow with minimal thread, trying to get to patients houses, simply because Les Schwab was unable to make more money off me... Best tire shop! Getting new tires can be a pain, not only time and money, but the waiting! I went in first thing on a Saturday, 8:15 am, the lobby was packed. I asked how long, Pat said he would have me out by 10 am. At 9:40 am my truck was ready! This is the only tire shop that has quoted me a time and been early! I went with Back Country All Terrain because I drive all over the country and I drive hundreds of miles daily pulling a trailer. I burn through tires quickly. I will update a post in a month or so with a review of the wearing and handling. So far, I am impressed!!!! Thank you Les Scwab for the great experience and awesome tires! read more
