Great shop with phenomenal customer service, speed and care! I worked with Anthony to get new tires for my vehicle and couldn't be happier. When I called originally I had an idea of what I wanted but Anthony suggested I consider another option that was actually cheaper than what I asked for. The tires were supposed to take a few weeks to come in, but he worked to get them in sooner and was able to get them within 3 days of me calling and we scheduled the service for the following day. The install took less than 30min and they have a cozy sitting room to wait in. They accept payment in card and cash (no checks) and it was smooth and easy. On October 31. 2025, Early in the day I went into Mark's Point S/Tire Factory and inquired about the cost of Mount and Balance per tire, one tire patch, and four new valve stems. The quote was $30 per tire - 4x30=$120, the patch was quoted as $10, and the valve stems were $5 each, 4x5=$20. $120+$10+$20=$150 I went back in mid-afternoon and had 4 tires mounted, and received an Invoice date and time stamped October 31, 2025, 2:56 PM, with the costs described as: TIRE LABOR 4 @ $10, BALANCE COMPUTER SPIN 4@ $25, TUBELESS VALVE STEM 4 @ $5.The total of $40+$100+$20=$160. So, I allege, that the manager who quoted the prices earlier in the day, manipulated the costs by adding TIRE LABOR and not including the PATCH, to increase the total by $10. The manager specifically made a point of telling me that he did not charge me for the patch, while at the same time, I allege, that the manager said that to distract me from the "Tire Labor". In all my years, I have never paid "Tire Labor" and I allege that the manipulation of costs was done intentionally, so that he could "pick my pocket", by charging me another $10 in the total. All of my communications, start to finish, were with the manager. I recommend that a person get all quotes in writing if you deal with this business. I WILL NOT GIVE MARK'S POINT S TIRES ANY BUSINESS AND RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. read more

Been using this shop exclusively for all maintenance and tires on 2 vehicles past 5 years. It used to be good honest and affordable, in the past year though has changed and for the worse. I don't think there is a tire issue they can repair, everything is your tire needs replaced we can't repair it , no. Go in for oil change, oh you need a set of new tires, say no, suddenly oh tires just need rotated. It seems it is now the same as many places upsell upsell. Well due to that lost my business and using obscenities when told losing business, keep it up don't think you will be in business long. read more

I use Tire Factory on SE Division anytime I need tires, brakes, shocks etc. for my 2008 Subaru Impreza. They are a locally owned franchise, which I appreciate. Buy local, stay local. They've had the same technicians every time I've been there for the past three years, which tells me they take care of their employees and they are experienced and not constantly turning over employees. They are good guys. They've even told me when I may be requesting a product or service that is overkill or that my car doesn't need yet. Every time I go in there I ask for a price quote, with several price points. Then, I shop it around, research their brands online, and every time their price has been fair and their brands competitive. Other retailers and vendors tell me they will match or beat anyone's price, but why should I have to use a go hunting around for a lower price to leverage them down? I appreciate getting a good price up front, without having to haggle. I have always called ahead to ask when would be a good time to drop my car off, and when I can expect it to be ready for pickup. They have never let me down or had me waiting longer than they said, which is common at many competing shops. read more

I can't believe I just had new tires put on ,4 new wheels at this place, on my wife's car. Soon as we got home I inspected the job and all the tires were at a different pressure. Then I noticed around the rim of each wheel they were scratched on everyone of them. I called them back and talk to Roberto, first thing he said no we didn't do that and I said oh yes you did so he told me to bring it back. so I did and then he told me I had to get my old tires and wheels and go back and have them put them back on and they told me it will be a week to fix them. I simply asked for some paperwork that they were going to do the repair that there is no other damage done on the wheels and they absolutely refused. What kind of place is this I have went there in the past without problems now I hope they see this review because I will never go back. Next thing to do is talk to the owner and that is exactly what I am going to do. Probably won't do any good but that is what I'm doing anyways! I was super sick but forced to work anyway and I had a flat tire. I was not very kind to him and extremely uncomfortable and in pain. Last place I wanted to be was at a freakin tire shop. A month or so later I went back and apologized to Mark for my rude behavior and told him I was a month sober. Although I was a complete stranger, he was soooo genuinely happy for me and proud of me and my accomplishment. He was very understanding of my behavior when we met. Since then I have always taken my cars to him and he's seen the transformation that my sobriety has given to my life. He always greets me with a big hug and asks me how much sobriety time I have now (coming up on 7 years). I recommend this place over any other in Portland, for prices and service! Took my car in and they told me an hour wait. So I went home grabbed my kids and went back. Still sat there for 2 hours to find out the tires were slashed but they had different ones. Took my car to a different tire shop and they informed me I bought snow tires. WTF that would have been awesome to know. I wanted these guys to do a simple inspection of a used truck and I spoke with Tony and coordinated the whole thing for a Saturday morning. I told the guy who was selling the truck to go there first thing in the morning and he agreed. When he got there he was treated very rudely and no one seemed to care that he had an appointment and Tony acted, in the words of the seller, like a real jerk. I actually was not surprised when I heard this because when I first called to set up the appointment I could hear it in the guys voice that he was wanna-be tough guy and that he seemed too cool to care, like I was doing him a favor by bringing in my truck for an inspection. It wasn't even my truck yet and he tried to pre-sell me on new brakes!
