I had scheduled a car inspection, oil change & tire rotation for a Saturday. On Saturday morning they called to tell me that their technician was sick. They offered to schedule another appointment with a nearby Jiffy Lube that day! I was very impressed by that offer so I decided to reschedule my appointment with this Jiffy Lube on Punchbowl to Tuesday. On Tuesday while I was there, a woman drove in with a flat tire which I think was down to the rim, since it made a lot of noise. She didn't know what to do. The staff offered to look at it for her even though that is not a service that they offer. They even offered to call a tow truck for her if they couldn't help her. They certainly went out of their way to help someone in need. I was very impressed. Btw they did a great job with my car. I will definitely recommend them. read more

Went for an oil change. Sanford was on duty by himself. He called another location for someone to come and help. Although he was by himself before he got help, he was very attentive and explained that he was the only technician there. He worked very fast, and when Tyrone arrived, he was also attentive, vacuumed my car, and input the type of service I needed. They got my car in and out. Went to Aiea jiffy lube where the tech said it would be a longer than normal wait because he hadn't eaten lunch. I understand but he didn't give me a timeline, so I decided to try punchbowl jiffy lube since I was headed into town anyway. Fast, professional, friendly - in and out within 40 minutes. These guys were great and they REALLY live up to their name. I needed an oil change and to get my tires rotated. I went to another place on (Queen Street) that shall rename nameless first and I was told, bring it back tomorrow morning and plan to leave it all day. Ain't nobody got time for that. I needed to have a safety check done. Stopped by on Thursday and they weren't taken any more appointments after 4pm. Went by on Friday, and the inspector was sick. Went back on Monday at 12:30 and was told they were not taking any more appointments because they needed to go have lunch. I left and went to Mckinley Car Wash and got the safety check in 30 min. Just close that jiffy lube, they are obviously not interested in helping long time customers. read more

The team here was absolutely wonderful. I came in for an oil change and they did that and more, all while not even having to step out of my vehicle! In addition to the oil change, the crew checked my air filter, topped off fluid levels, and checked tire pressure at no added cost! This Jiffy Lube may be a little hard to get to, but it's definitely worth the drive. Nathan met use at our car when we arrive and was so enthusiastic and informative. Then Chelsie came over to take down all the necessary information and told us we would be able to use a $15 discount coupon. Yay!! So nice of her, I would highly recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone looking for an oil change. One suggestion for them would be to try to relocate their entrance to Lusitania St. where I think it might be safer to enter from. read more

Another year, another safety check inspection done at this Jiffy Lube location. I like to come back here because they are knowledgeable, reliable and fast. They make sure I'm on the same page as them in regards to my car issue or maintenance. I had no idea my Car Engine filter was dusty but they let me know. My only issue is that it's almost impossible to reach them over the phone; I called them several times and let it ring for a long time during their business hours with no avail. I could hear the phone ringing almost indefinitely during my visit while waiting for my safety check at their lobby. I had to show up in person a week prior to set up an appointment. But other than that, it's a good place for your car maintenance. read more

I normally get superb service from this specific shop. But on Monday 7/17/17 I went to get a safety inspection done. When the job was done, I paid for the service and got into my car. The person DID NOT move my seat back and I screwed my knee up hitting the steering wheel. Now I have to be out of work for awhile. That was one damn expensive safety check. They sent me a survey and I told them about this and sent pictures. All I got was the sound of crickets. No wonder the McDonalds lady sued over the hot coffee. Nor even a apology. WTH !!!! read more

They told her after they drained the oil they couldn't give her the 54$ oil change since something was broken on their end and it would be 89$ but they could take off 20$. I called to see what was going on and they said she told them she needed synthetic. Straight up lied to me, my wife doesn't know what synthetic oil even is. I have been coming to Punchbowl Jiffy Lube for years always great employees and service. I got here today to find the direction of the station had changed. Only two cars can line up and if someone has to back up you have to back up into traffic. All the covered waiting lines are chained off and not used. So stupid. Then find out they can no longer rotate my tires, my Nissan Xterra is to heavy?????? When my car is done they ask me to walk around back next to the pit to pay. There is a perfectly good office and waiting room they don't use. Please go back to the old system and get a stronger jack so you can rotate my tires. Maybe I have to start going somewhere else. read more

I've taken my 2018 Honda Civic, 2016 5.0 Mustang and 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible there to get an oil change and one time to check low pressure tire on the Mustang. I recommend if you own an older car is fine and they're quick, any high performance I do not. I can't even see if they use new synthetic oil and filter. They have huge barrels of oil. Camaro I had to go back due to the technician didn't screw the oil pan screw on correctly. My low oil pressure came on and thank goodness it did. The engine most likely would've been blown and I would than sue them. The we're lucky. The service manager apologize realizing they almost messed up. But no % off next visit or comp. Customer service is lacking when they're busy. The coupons kinda work backwards like a car dealerships selling items and up charging you. Ford, Honda and Chevrolet, usually synthetic oil and filter change range from $55-$80 depends if you have coupon. This place even with coupon, I've paid over $90. Not worth it. I don't mind paying for excellent customer service and product but I don't trust this place anymore. Reason I went to Jiffy Lube is I wanted to see the difference and it was closer to my home but be warned of the prices. Make sure to watch them use new oil and filter. When you check out it's in a rush, like reading a will. Pay me now and leave kinda attitude. Should be more professional but in that area or in general in Oahu, Honolulu companies try to scam you. read more

On a recent day off, I decided to stop procrastinating and take my truck in for a much needed oil change. Since it's a Honda, my first notion was to call Honda. Sadly, there wasn't an appointment available for almost 2 weeks. So, the next best thing was Jiffy Lube. I called them up in the morning and asked when the earliest appointment was. I was informed that it was at 8:30 AM, which was less than 30 minutes from the time that I had called. So, I headed on over, rolled it in, and got it done pain-free. Easy breezy! The staff here was super pleasant and exceptionally efficient (which, as everybody knows, is exactly what I prefer).
