Brought my car to Meineke Hurst back in April to get the brakes checked. Upon their inspection, they stated I would be needing new front wheel axles along with the brake replacement. All good so far. Fast forward to early July, my transmission breaks down. Upon inspection by my warranty's technician and the shop handling the transmission repair, both confirmed that the driver's side axle had been improperly installed and appeared to be too short. This issue was causing fluid to leak and eventually led to the transmission breakdown. I was provided with reports from both the warranty and the shop, along with pictures. I also have the axle in the back seat of my car. All of this evidence points to the shop technicians' negligence. However, all the shop manager and the owner of this location had to say was that they ordered the correct part (which doesn't guarantee that the correct part was delivered or that the technician did the job properly). They also claimed that no one had the right to say they were liable for what happened. We attempted to contact the owner directly, but he did not take any of our calls. We then contacted Meineke corporate, and they reached out to him. He stated that he would not be contacting us. Subsequently, we brought this issue to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and they contacted the owner as well. Finally, we received a response, but it was the same evasive stance. It seems that the only way to hold them accountable for their wrongdoing is to sue them. So, to save yourself the trouble, I recommend going somewhere else. Please stay way from this Meineke location. The guys here are dishonest and will try to scam you. I brought my wife's car in for an alignment a few weeks ago and they tried to scam me. We dropped the car off in the morning and they called us 30 minutes later and said our alignment is not the issue, it's our tires. They offered to replace our tires for $800. I said no thanks and to just finish the alignment and we'll come pick it up. I come back and paid for the service and asked for a before and after print out of the alignment. They said their "printer is out of ink" and can't provide that to me. I then asked them to email it to me. They said the computer system for their alignment jobs doesn't offer the option for email. Then how do I even know if an alignment was done on my car? Where is the proof? I kindly asked him to go take a picture from the computer screen showing the results and he struggled. He came back with results that weren't even for my car! He got flustered because he got caught in a lie and asked his team to put our car back up on the rack and do the alignment while we wait. Stay away from this shady location. read more

They botched my car. I came in with a car that worked perfectly and left with a car that shakes when it brakes and with a tire that had cotton shoved in it and completely leaked by the next morning. I asked them to make my car road trip ready and they (un)repaired it in a way that made it dangerous to drive. When I called to see if they would refund me for the tire that I was forced to replace due to their shitty job they just repeated the same line over and over and over on the phone. Also the front desk guy Jeremy doesn't wear his mask safely lmaooo. The shop I had to replace my tire at said that the job that they did was in no way a proper patch job - and that it was the kind of fix only meant to hold up for a few hours. Not only is that hella unsafe it's a huge rip off! LOL! Basically, don't take your car here if you care about your life. The previous manager, Darrius, was fantastic! I chose this shop for my truck alignment because of him, but he's no longer there. The new manager tried to charge me $400 for an alignment and when I refused, they took my truck off the rack after somehow removing the bolt on the lower rear strut. I noticed later that day, and thankfully I didn't get in an accident or anything. The manager was very argumentative and refused to admit his tech touched the rear suspension, when I clearly saw him. Go somewhere else, terrible service and scam artists. read more

I went yesterday to get my Honda checked for vibration on idle, after several other shops tried to "fixed" the problem. After two hours, they told me it was a sensor that was causing the vibration. I asked several times if they were sure because I didn't want to pay for something that was not going to resolve the issue. The new manager assured me that replacing that sensor was going to resolve the problem. Five hours later (around 7:30 p.m. about 1 hour and 30 minutes after closing), which was a total of about 7 hours of me waiting for a sensor to be replaced. The sensor was finally replaced, and I immediately checked my vehicle after their test drive. Disappointingly, the problem was still there! They're really nice and all, but I need someone to fix my car not to be nice to me. Seems like they just hire anyone to be a mechanic these days, so If you want to wait hours and possibly not have your car fixed then I would come here. read more

I went to this location for a couple of years for inspections and oil changes and thought they always did well. Recently, I took a 19 Ram in for its first inspection. I waited about 30 min and was finally told that they couldn't pass it because it had clear window tint on the front window. I tried to explain to the guy that the law had changed (actually over a year ago) and encouraged him to go to the Texas.gov site and look it up. He refused to do so and wanted to stand there and argue about how he "does inspections every day and if a law had changed he would know about it." It's one thing to be incompetent at your job, but it's completely unacceptable when someone tells you where to go on the state website to check something that you should already know, and you stand there arguing and refuse to do so. I went down the road and the inspection was done in 5 minutes. I will never return to this location and would encourage everyone else to do the same. read more

This business has recently opened and offering discounts of various services. I took my son's BMW for an oil service, which did not exactly fit their discounted service but the owner honored the discount with minor adjustments for additional synthetic oil and higher priced oil filter. They also did a complete visual check of my son's older car, which he like to work on himself. The inspection provided an excellent view of items he needs to focus on his repairs. The staff was very friendly, informative and quick with their service. I would recommend using them for any general mechanical work on your vehicle. read more

Darius and his team are excellent! I've had work done by them and it is great! Yesterday, my seat belt stopped working. I figured at the dealer it would be $500 or more to repair. Darius took a look and found a dime stuck in the mechanism. He fished it out and everything is back to normal. He wouldn't even keep the dime. Do not go here!!!!!!!!! They will mess your car upppppp!!!! I came in with a chevy cobalt to have my ace serviced no other problems at all! When I picked my car up my car was blowing colder but my check engine light was on. My ac stopped working 1 week later I brought it back and the mechanic o. Duty said my blower motor is blown it would not work without a new one...I took it to auto zone the next day to have it scanned and I unhooked my battery and hooked it back up and my ac is blowing cold again! The mechanic cracked my serpentine belt when doing whatever they did and its throwing like 4 other codes!! They will scam you!!!! read more
