While visiting back in Indianapolis, I began having problems starting my car. For a variety of reasons I suspected it was more than just the battery. I called several highly rated repair shops, but none was able to look at it for a day or two. Normally I would not have considered Jiffy Lube for an auto repair that went beyond general maintenance, but I remembered that when I lived in Indianapolis, Jiffy Lube was exceptionally well managed so I gave them a try. The closest one got me in right away but didn't have the battery they thought I needed nor the ability to examine the alternator. They sent me to another Jiffy Lube not far away which was equipped for more advanced repairs. They too got me in quickly, replaced the battery, and said the alternator was fine. My car has been happy ever since. Me too. The Indiana Jiffy Lubes are still under the same good management. I am grateful for that and for their good service. read more

Fantastic customer service and incredibly friendly staff, but not the best quality of service. Went in for an oil change/tire rotation, and just learned that whoever rotated the tires did not reset the TPMS. My left front tire has been showing a slow leak on my monitor, but it was actually the left rear that was leaking! A potentially very dangerous mistake as I have been inflating the WRONG tire and letting the real issue go undetected. Very luckily a technician at a dealership noticed the issue before a blowout happened without warning. read more

This place is awful, I went there recently for an oil change and they were nothing but rude. The guy did not want to do anything except try to upsell me on every single thing in the book an he wasnt taking no for an answer. If I had taken his advice I would have walked out of there spending more than $400 on an oil change. I repeatedly told him all I wanted was their signature service oil change and it took about 10 minutes for him to get it through his head. To boot, he told me I couldnt use my coupon that I had printed online just hours before that had their address on it. When I left the service station I noticed that my tires were under-inflated and that they had neglected to replace the air valve caps on 2 of my tires. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE read more

I normally don't like to pay the price at jiffy lube, but I had a groupon so what the hell. They didn't try to oversell me to much this time which was nice. Stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. With the "dealer recommended" synthetic oil, extra quart of oil my car needed, oil upgrade, and tire rotation, the total was $96. What?! The service specialist instructed me to go to Groupon for a $39.99 package deal while I waited. It took a while to figure out the deal had expired. Jiffy Lube didn't honor the price they quoted. Instead they gave me the 24.99 tire rotation for free. My charge was still $68. Will never be back. Many places offer package deals much much cheaper. read more

I've been meaning to get an oil change for awhile and was out running errands today when I realized I had time to get it done. The only problem was that it was 9:45 am and they open at 10. I pulled up ready to settle in for a wait, and they opened up the doors. The team was absolutely delightful this morning and I'm finished with my oil change before the place was even set to open! Came here to get a typical oil change and tire rotation...well about a week later my car is not handling well and there's a constant thud noise. Come to find out that the bolts on all my tires are loose and were jostling around on the axle while I was driving. Absolutely careless on the employee's part and potentially a very dangerous situation for me while driving. Luckily I was able to get the bolts tightened up myself, but I shouldn't have to do that. Money Hungry, Careless people! So normally I do my own oil changes but I saw that groupon had a special with this Jiff Lube. I thought I'd give it a try. Wow what a mistake. Apparently they have a "complementary window wiping and floor vacuuming service" This was their First mistake. They use rags called micro fiber. They normally are wonderful however if you are carless, in a rush and apply to much pressure whatever containments they get off the surface, it acts like sand paper. You can see where I am going with this. When I walked back over to pick up my car I noticed several deep scratches on multiple windows I immediately mentioned it. The "know it all" technician asked me if I was sure it was the window or just the tint, tinted on the outside. LOL are you kidding me? who tints windows on the outside? Instead of arguing with him, I asked for the manager "Gary Dilk" obviously another college dropout that is good at what he does. Which is sales and get as much money as he can for his store by ripping off his costumers. Anyways he said he would talk to his boss and then get back to me. Never heard from him. Then I went in today (5 days later) to talk to him, he lied to my face and said he talked to his boss (which he didn't) then proceeded to tell me rages don't make scratches. Mind you this guy couldnt even look me in the eyes while he was feeding me this BS. Gee thanks buddy! And cars don't drive themselves. Well they are not going to help me fix this issue. I suggest if you care even a little about how your car looks I wound NOT go to them they will destroy it and then charge you for it. Stay Away!!!!!! read more

Did the differentials and transmission on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. No mention of the importance of a friction modifier for the factory limited slip differentials. Within a couple of days I could hear the differentials whining at city speeds and chattering on corners. Good people. When I returned they added the necessary friction modifier which they had in stock. Also added a quart of RP synthetic with FM with no fuss. It is a potentially catastrophe to run these limited slips without the modifier. Hopefully the differentials will quiet down now. read more

I was ripped off. Paid to have rear and front differential and transfer case fluid changed. Service was not performed. Now the rear end needs to be rebuilt and, notwithstanding I showed the service was not performed with a sample of the old fluid, neither Jiffy Lube nor its insurer offered anything, not even the return of the money paid. I am filing an action against them for fraud, deceptive consumer sales, breach of contract, and negligence. Do not go here! read more

Broad Ripple area: if you need an oil change and tire rotation, absolutely DO NOT go to the Jiffy Lube at 6275 N Keystone. I just had the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. It was so bad that my husband, a disabled vet, had to put our tires back on because the tech couldn't figure it out. My husband ended up having to teach the tech how to do a job he should have already been trained to do. After waiting an hour and a half (no other cars in front of us) and my husband training the employee, we were asked to not to have our tires rotated there again because they are "after market rims." I have had this car since 2006 and the rims since 2008. There is nothing special about these rims other than a deep lug pattern. Other Jiffy Lubes have rotated the tires without any trouble. We only went to this location because of the Groupon special. The manager, Randal, didn't even apologize or offer anything for our time and trouble - he blamed the tires and us for buying them. To top off our experience, they tried to charge us tax on what we paid Groupon but then changed it to 40% tax on the extra $3.50 charge to top off our coolant. My husband called their corporate office when we finally left and gave them an ear full. Corporate was very apologetic and put a claim in for us in the event the tech stripped the lugs which is a likely probability. Avoid the Jiffy Lube at 62nd and Keystone at all costs! read more
