Do not go here. Seriously, don't. I went in for a simple oil change. The only thing wrong with my car before going in was that it was low on oil. Immediately when I left, I noticed that there were several warning signs on my dashboard appearing, and that my transmission was all messed up. I took it to an actual shop with real mechanics, and they found that the plug for one of my sensors was intentionally left unplugged. This kind of thing is a tactic done by shady shops to get customers back in to pay and 'fix' the problem they made. So unless you want to get ripped off and have to deal with the headache of a broken car, do not go here. Also, $90 for an oil change is ridiculously expensive. NEVER GO HERE! I'm a student in college and I'm usually on the go so I don't really have the time to go to my dealership to do the oil changes. I use to be a regular here and always had my oil changed every thing it needed it. They keep taking out the air cabin filter per visit and constantly saying that I needed to change it and I took their word for it. The last time I went and they changed my oil and the air cabin filter. However these morons didn't put in the right way and while I had my AC on it got a bunch of gunk inside of it and damaged it. It was so damaged that I had to replace the fan and the compressor. I had to go back to the Honda dealership third times because of these issues that were caused by this Jiffy lube's horrible workers. They will lie to your face about constantly changing something out that doesn't need to be changed so soon, their prices are extremely high and they do not care about the customer. If you value your car and time then don't show up here and go to a more reliable car oil change service. read more

Be careful with this jiffy lube, very shady location employees try to over charge you. The employee tried to charge me $70 for a standard oil change and when I told him I had a coupon he said "oh no we don't honor that here" when the coupon paper said it was honored in any location.Take your car across the street to Firestone much more professional establishment,way better customer service and they changed my oil for $25. read more

This Jiffy Lube is the real deal. The quality of service that I have received here is astonishing. The staff is always really friendly, and they never push you to buy any extra services. They have pretty decent coffee, which is rare for most auto services shops. My car always comes back cleaner than it is, and I am very thankful. Great! Guys were patient and working with good ethics. I've been to others who were sloppy overfilling the oil to where we had to pull over heading to Vegas across the desert because they did a sloppy job, rushing. This place is a SCAM!!!! Please let me save you time and money by telling you these guys are the worst. Went in for an simple oil change, with everything in my car working perfectly fine. Came out with no oil changed and none of my windows or locks working. The guy "helping us", Daniel, said there was absolutely nothing they could do and wouldn't give me his managers number or an incident report, which he had initially offered and then changed the story and said he could not because his boss, who he wouldn't let me talk to, had told him he couldn't. Wish I had read the reviews before coming here and saved myself the headache. Please don't give these people your UPDATE: Found out why windows and locks weren't working. A fuse was stolen out of the fuse box!!! There were oily finger prints on the lid and a scratch near the box that had never been there to prove it. My son called and told them how much for oil change for his 1999 Honda Civic that has 170000 miles they told him about $50 he took the car in and when they finish his bill was $81.78 they had put high mileage oil in car wasn't necessary it was his first oil change ever just because he's young they took advantage of him so I DO NOT RECOMMEND anybody to go to jiffy lube in La Puente off of Hacienda Blvd nothing but damn rip offs and thieves my son learned his lesson he should of just taken the car to the dealership would of been better ( Jiffy Lube Never Again) so all of those that read this post I hope is useful to you all .. read more

I have never gone to a chain mechanic and not had them try to up-sell me. I was very clear I wanted the standard oil change, gave them my keys, and waited. After an hour, they told me they didn't have my oil in stock and that I'd have to go from a $43 oil change to the $92 one unless I went to the dealer. I don't know why they couldn't have checked in the first place (I call bologna); it's not like my vehicle specs changed from the time I arrived to the time they pulled my car into the garage. Go somewhere else. In a rebuttal to customer service: I arrived at 6:00--not 6:20--after I had called and asked if I could stop in for an oil change that evening. They said yes and that they could get to my car at 6:45, and I said I would be there by 6:00. I got to the counter, waited a few minutes, and then eventually went to the garage to grab someone because there was no one inside. I'm not sure what records Jiffy Lube has because I bought the car 2 months ago and this is the first oil change I have needed. The technicians also notified my that the previous mechanic that serviced my vehicle had put in the wrong oil filter so I had been driving 5000 miles with the wrong filter . Came in today and the staff was great. I received a speedy oil change and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They did not try misleading me or up selling me on unnecessary things and they simply offered me and recommended me alternate premium services. All in all with the online coupon I was in and out in about twenty minutes or so. I would definitely come back for a speedy oil change and the peace of mind. I requested service and at first I was told that they could not perform service because they did not have the proper tool. My story: I was sick as a dog and needed to do an oil change on my girlfriend's car in a city we just moved into. I didn't know where to go, so I looked up the closest place which is this place. Service is alright. Nice guy helped me out. Sure felt alright when I sat down and watched the camera on the employees working on the car. Then the guy who helped me came back saying he doesn't have 0-20W, only in synthetic blend or full synthetic. He refused to put 5-20W conventional like I asked citing that it's only right for the car. So I say OK, that's totally understandable. Then I get the bill for a grand total of 75$. In it, a +10$ for oil filter (which is made of paper and costs $5 at Autozone). 10$ upcharge for using synthetic blend? A 5 gallon mobil-1 costs $26. Then they charged $13 for "oil beyond fill capacity" which makes no damn sense at all. Stay away from this place if you do not want to be overcharged. If for some reason you HAVE to get your oil changed at this place, make sure you get the pricing before hand. ALWAYS GET PRICING BEFORE HAND! I went to get an oil change on 09/13/15 in the morning, it is now 09/22/15 and my oil light/gauge came on. It's been less than 10days! I did some simple math and found that I've driven my truck aprox 200 miles in that time period. I had my brother take a look at my truck because I thought there was an oil leak(he's been a mechanic for 15+ years). He checked it and there was no sign of an oil leak. He then checked the oil with the dipstick and the oil was slightly under the minimum level so he drained the little that was left and put in new oil. The only reasonable thing that could of have happened is that they didn't add the proper amount of engine oil. They totally ripped me off. The guy even made me purchase and extra quart. Yeah, I could have taken it back to them since they do offer free top offs but I'm really annoyed and I feel like I can't trust them to do their job. read more

So for the first time in over two years I took my car to get serviced at a place other than the dealer. I had called during the week and they quoted me about $35 if I remember correctly and said it would take about 15 minutes. I went here for the first time today and Daniel was the one who helped me. He was very professional and informative. Before he did anything he would explain it all to me first. I thought it was cool that they have surveillance cameras right on your vehicle so you can see everything they are doing. They are open early so I was able to go before work.
