WOW! I needed one little thing and I pulled in, hoping they could help. I need some tire caps. The mechanic was very friendly and helpful. She gave me the caps and installed for free. She could have charged me a nominal fee for this product and service but she did not. I appreciate her kindness and help. This location is easy access and the premises was clean. The mechanic made sure she social distanced and she wore a mask. I felt very comfortable there. I expected a huge eye roll from her when I told her what I needed. Instead, I got top rate help. Well it was that time of year on my job to take my car in for routine maintenance. My work vehicle was in dire need of an oil change and I usually went to the location on 23rd St. but I decided to go to this one instead. Right away the people were friendly and immediately was able to get me in there. At the other location in the past I've had to wait and wait to be helped, but I got in they did a very good job of doing the oil change on my car. And got me out within 30 minutes. Overall my experience was great but I do know from past locations that it usually depends on the people that are working and not necessarily the business itself. I have had bad experiences at pretty much every location and I've had good experiences in all of them as well so I know that it Comes down to who is working and who takes their job seriously and does it with class and pride and thankfully I happened to run into those workers today. read more

Not the experience that inspired confidence. Simple oil change. Yes it was quick. Overfilled my oil and I had an new oil leak. Just had my oil changed at another quick lube and they said the drain plug was not threaded in all the way and not tight. Now I'm glad I didn't lose all my engine oil on the 1,500 mile trip I just took. I'm sure they would have covered the blown engine (not). Sorry fellas, I can't take the risk again. Sad. First time I ever got to sit in my car for an oil change. They were super fast.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I took my VW here and they screwed the threading on my oil pan. They tried to play it off as not their responsibility or fault. My vehicle did not leak what so ever until I brought it here last week. I was told my the store manager that they torqued the bolt down prior to removal and that when that occurred the strip occurred and the pan immediately started a constant stream of oil coming out. They then refused to do the oil change and sent me on my way. When I got out to my vehicle I could see the oil pouring out. I immediately drove from there to VW dealership down the road. The dealership stated that the threads were completely gone and that if this issues existed prior to Jiffy Lube touching it I would have know and it would have been leaking horribly. From the 2 minutes my vehicle was parked in the bay at VW, enough oil poured out to create a 2 foot puddle under the vehicle. I filed a complaint with Jiffy Lube. They reached out to me and have done nothing since. They stated that they would contact the dealership to get some info but the dealer said the have not yet contacted them. The dealership the following weekend took a look at it and determine if they would be able to do a rethread, they stated that the damage was significant and rethread was impossible. Now I am looking and $2300 to pull the motor and have the oil pan replaced!!!!! All because I was in a hurry and there was no line at this Jiffy Lube location. And now I no why, I again highly recommending that you AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

After giving them $74 for an oil change, not 500 miles later oil light came on as well as engine light. Took to Kia and found out jiffy lube didn't put the right oil in my 2020 Kia Soul. They also didn't tighten the oil filter down. Save your money and go somewhere else. Spent $54 and now have current full synthetic oil and right filter! All lights off too! read more

This morning in 8 degree weather my battery died completely while I was in a parking lot. The dashboard lights wouldn't even come on. The Iowa Street Jiffy Lube was across the street and I called them. They sent a young man over to jump start and when that didn't work, he took me to the nice warm waiting room. Found a battery, took me back to my car but let me wait in this vehicle while he replaced the battery. What wonderful service. So nice and so helpful. read more

Went in for a basic oil change on my daughter's car knowing that they typically check all the fluids, tire pressure, etc. When they finished the work, I paid and the manager then went over the basics of the work completed on the car, which included checking the tire pressure. Once he finished, I asked if they checked the tire pressure because one of the front tires still looked low. He said one of the other guys on his crew did. FWIW, I watched them perform the service on the car and didn't see them check the tires. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but checked the tire pressure myself when I got home. One tire was 8 psi low, another was 4 psi low, another was 3 psi low. Obviously, they hadn't been checked. How many other customers take their cars in for basic safety checks, trusting the "professionals" to take care of them? When it comes to the safety of one of my children, I WILL NEVER, use Jiffy Lube again. One UNSATISFIED former CUSTOMER! Too bad I can't give a lower rating. read more

Went to the Lawrence,KS Jiffy Lube on 23rd Street for a "conventional" oil change on my Jeep. The young people working there were nice, but quoted me $71 for the oil change! Ended up at Midas where the same service totaled $41. read more

Brought my truck in and let's just say intake worm drive gears we're not tight but loose as well sensor next to filter is now broke and open hood up after found vaccume line clasps backed off and not on stud thinks for making me Order sensor and fixing every thing that is near filter. I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. They took my car in and started working on it before they told me what was going on and had me go to the waiting room. The man then came and got me and told me that it was going to be $100. I then told him that I can get it done somewhere else for much cheaper but they had already started working on my car before they told me what the price was going to be, so I had no choice but to stay there and pay them. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the lack of communication and lack of getting consent from the car owners really screws people over. read more

My time at this jiffy lube was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I first arrived at this Jiffy Lube, I was asked if I wanted an oil change, and I said yes. Then, I was taken to the waiting room where I sat for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I went to the bathroom. When I left the bathroom, the man who I assume was the manager, yelled at me from across the room "Hey you!! I need your keys". The way he said that was so rude, so I walked past the other car that was being serviced to give him my key. He did not say anything to me at all when I handed it to him. So I went back to the waiting room, and probably 5 minutes later, the rude man comes to get me. He takes me to the computer and asks what kind of oil I want. I told him I didn't know, so he recommended one. He also told me that I didn't need my filter replaced (which I appreciated since they usually try to up-sell that kind of thing) and asked if I wanted my coolant topped off for $5.99. Throughout this whole conversation, the only price that he mentioned at all was the coolant. I was watching the screen, though, and noticed that my total price was something like $150.00. Then he printed me an itemized total, doesn't go over any prices at all, and tells me to sign it. At this point, I didn't want to deal with his rude attitude, so I signed it. After this, I went back to the waiting room and texted my mom (I'm 19, so I don't really know how much a typical oil change should cost). I told her the price that I saw on the screen, and she told me that was ridiculously expensive and asked me to go talk to them. So, I have my mom on the phone, and I go back out to the room with the cars in it and asked if they've started yet. They said yes, so I asked the guy who has been working with me this whole time if he could tell me the cost of all of this. So he takes me back to the computer, and tells me that it will be something close to $150. I told him that this is the most expensive oil change that I have ever gotten, and asked him to explain what the charges were. Instead of answering me he said, "Well I can get it down to $100 for you." So I asked my mom if that was better, and she starts yelling into the phone about how that is still really expensive. At this point, I'm sure the man can hear her through my phone. So, he turns off the computer, leaves me standing there, and goes back to my car. So I stood there for a little bit as he's telling all of the other guys working on my car that they need to switch to the cheap oil (at this point they're all rolling their eyes and being very rude). Then, he finally looked up at me and told me to go have a seat. So I went back into the waiting room, where there is a window into the area where all of these guys are working on my car. As I'm sitting there, I can see and hear them all yelling to each other about me. They called me a spoiled princess, they said that I was walking around like I own the place, calling me a bitch. At this point, I can't believe the way that they are acting, so I just waited for them to finish, paid my $100 bill, and left. But don't worry, I called their corporate office and let them know about my awful experience. read more

I brought my car in to get an oil change and also because I had a check engine light and oil pressure said it was high. They not only changed my oil and checked the light(no charge like other places), but gave me the codes of the engine light and printed off places where I could get parts. Went above and beyond to help and not sell! Much appreciated!!! While it does cost a little more....totally worth peace of mind.! read more
