This is the slowest oil change place you will ever go to. The mechanic estimated a 30 minute wait time and I'm still in the line an hour later. Both lanes are open and all the mechanics worked on 1 car at a time with some employees walking around the line, on their phone or smoking a cigarette. Do not come here. read more

Absolutely awful experience. We pulled in around 11:30am on Friday and we were told that there was about a 30-40 minute wait but we decided that was worth it because I've been needing to get it done. We were waiting for an hour before someone who came AFTER us was guided into the bay and helped. We waited longer hoping we were next despite being skipped in line and now 30 minutes has turned into two hours. We've been waiting for two hours just to get an oil change. And we still have not been helped. Since we've waited this long, I don't feel like leaving without the service complete so who knows how much longer we'll have to wait. I will never be back and I strongly recommend that if you need an oil change, check anywhere else. They will likely be kinder, more efficient, and hopefully at the very least honest with you if your initial wait time quadruples. Luckily I didn't have work to get back to, other people had to leave too because of how inefficient the service was. A shame because i used to enjoy jiffy lube but it's clear this location is not a good one. UPDATE: they told us it'd be 10 minutes after we waited 2 hours and then we waited for those 10 minutes and still not even close to being helped. This location is full of liars and incompetent people. Never ever come here if you can help it. I can't believe I wasted 2 hours waiting on an oil change that was never going to come. Pathetic. I hope this location goes out of business for the sake of people everywhere. read more

I got my company vehicle as it was the closest to my job that day. I got the oil changed. 3 days later when I drove to Tacoma my low level warning light came on. I had an interview that day. When I came out all the oil was on the street. I checked the dipstick and it was completely empty. I walked 3 miles to the nearest gas station to get two quarts of oil. I crawled under and found that the oil's filter was not tight, I was able to turn the filter by hand, as I work for a maintenance company I had the right too to tights it up correctly. I put the 2 quarts in. Enough to get me to auto store and filled up with oil. I called the store to complain on the service I got any old by luck the engine didn't seized up. Didn't get talking to a manager put me on hold then got cut off. I called my manager to let me him know he called, person at Jiffy, said they would call back, 3 weeks ago and we still haven't heard anything back from them. I really appreciate the employees here. My engine light came on and my car was running a little rough. I pulled up and they scanned my car for free. They also checked all my fluids and topped everything off. Turns out I needed a radiator cap, so that was great, they offered me options and places I could go if they couldn't handle it they were very kind and it was fun to talk to them. Very impressed with the service. Came in for an oil change for a 93 jeep Cherokee. Along with a full inspection, including tire tread wear, they let me know of possible future problems. I appreciated that. The impressive part of the service was that during the removal of the old filter, the oil pressure sensor broke -through no fault of there own. It was an original plastic part and very brittle. They had the part ordered, delivered and installed within about 15 minutes. The additional cost was only $20. Again, very impressive. This particular Jiffy Lube branch has absolutely the best customer service I have experienced at any similar drive thru lube & check type place I have ever been to. And I've been to a lot. I've been coming here for over a year now and I can't say enough about the service. I have been to a lot of lube shops over the years and I used to dread the rediculous pressure to up-sale you on a bunch of services and do-dads you don't want or need. But Jeremy and his crew are very straight forward about informing you of the available options, and practice good common sense about the difference between what you need and what is unnecessary. I really appreciate that. I've also had them do a few things I was expecting to pay more for and had them do it in gratis. I called and asked if they changed fuel filters for Diesel engine RAM's. Yes they did. How much for replacing both filters? Answer $119. He says can get me in right now and I tell him I am on my way. 10 minutes later I am there and he says it will be about 240.00. I tell him he said $119. He said he didn't know it was two filters. I told him all RAM diesels are two fiSo he says he will do one at regular price and the other at half price. Classic Bait and Switch which is illegal. Update from original post. BEWARE!!! THEY DON'T FIX YOUR CAR IF THEY BRAKE IT! I'm writing on behalf of my friend Tawnya R who went in to get an oil change and transmission flush. They ruined her transmission by mixing the transmission fluid with the old and the new. They totally ruined her transmission. She just bought this car in February. Its a 2012 Chevy Malibu, now since they will not accept responsibility and fix the car they damaged she is going to be out between 3,000-4,000 to fix the damage they caused to her car! I will never go in to this shop and want to let you all know , if they break your car they do not stand by their work or value the customer enough to pay for the damage they caused. It will be on you to fix it. So, if your planning on going here you might want to make sure you have between 3,000-4,000 in the bank in case they break your car. On top that she is a single mother with 2 children this has really effect this family in multiple ways. Unacceptable!!!!!! Horrible customer service! read more

Disappointed in 15th Ave Jiff. Went in for their "Signature" deal, should have been called "We don't care" deal. Didn't check anything, my filter was too inconveniently placed to deal with, so guy said don't bother checking that. And the kicker?? They have ON THEIR SIGN: Free Check Engine Diagnostic. Luckas and his Sunday crew, Shayna and Matt are amazing. They went above and beyond to help my family and me. We were on vacation 13 hours from home and they got my family and me back on the road again. I called when they first opened and told Luckas what was going on. He was very realistic with me what they could do and how long it would take. Even being newer the whole crew jumped in and helped anyway they could. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have been able to finish my vacation and would've had to have my parents drive the 13+ hours to come pick my family up and figure out my car later. Details06/23/2020 Got my fluid changed and went ok. Hooked up my brake fluid reservoir and pressurized it. It popped and started spraying everywhere. They then told me it was like that before I got there. Not true at all. I took it to a professional place and they told me it happens quite often from them. I then asked the manager of jiffy lube, he took my information and said they would look at the tapes but most likely they can't do anything. Basically saying no matter what I'm at fault. This is a $300 fix and I am supposed to drive to Kansas in a week. Unacceptable. Do not go here. read more

No customer service, like a bunch off monkeys running around. We needed a A/C Service, we were in the bay. They asked us to return in 30 min. we left, we returned in 32 min. and they put a van ahead of us. Told us it would be another 30 min. wait. The tech apparently ran out of freon and didn't realize it. "Super Tech". I was very unhappy the guy that came out and communicated this to us laughed. I called the store and waited about 6 mins. for the manager to answer. He never did come to the phone. This store is a night mare. Appeared to be training 5 guys and 1 guy working. Super grateful for the help I was received swapping out a set of headlights. My car has a very small and tricky corner where the bulbs are installed and a mechanic spent about 25-30 mins. I was really surprised when they didn't charge me a thing. I came in with my own bulbs, but I was more than prepared to pay some money for the man's time. Great service. Really generous and unexpected. I'll definitely visit them for my next oil change. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5: when I first walked in I was standing at the till waiting for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever. They were busy, for sure, but a quick, "Hi there! We'll be right with you. Thanks for your patience." just let's the customer know they're welcomed and next in line. read more

I was talked into a transmission flush here a couple of months ago. Against my better judgement i had it done. I took it back to this location shortly after the service and said that it was jerking between 1st and 2nd gear and he said that it was because my transmission was "clean" and its a powerful car. After a couple months of this I took it into my mechanic this week and he told me the flush destroyed my transmission. He also said Jiffy Lube in California is not allowed to do these transmission flushes anymore because theyve ruined so many cars. Do not ever go here...new transmission cost me $4000 read more

Went in for synthetic oil change, when they were done they told me I had oil leak, wired didn't before I took it in. Drove home about three miles, once home got out and had oil all over driveway. I climbed under car and they put the drain bolt on finger tight, they also fixed my window chips which they did wrong destroyed wipers, I took car back in and they redid also replaced wipers and sent a guy to my house to clean driveway. For all the headaches they gave me free transmission flush, avoid this place they don't care. read more

I wound up taking my car into Jiffy Lube as it's next to impossible to get into Walmart's service for oil changes...always slammed...couldn't get into Midas without a 2 hr. wait. I even tried to set up an appointment online and didn't work because oil changes are first come first served so why the website says you can schedule an appointment for an oil change. Anyway went to Jiffy Lube. They recommended the synthetic blend for my specific car and went with it. We don't drive alot except for trips to Vancouver or Portland for my husbands appointments at the VA. They got me in and out fairly quickly. Was pleased they didn't try to pressure me into buying a bunch of other stuff. That is the only problem I've ever had with them. Not sure I would want them to do anything to the tranny though. Had a "bad" experience years back with another outfit. Let them service the tranny and next thing I know the transmission went out on our van. But for oil changes they are A-OK. Just a keynote, I think wiper blades are cheaper at O'Reilly's and they install them for you for free if you ask them. read more

I don't normally go to Jiffy Lube since my car is under warranty and I get my oil changes for free through my dealership. However, I hadn't had the time to make it across town and couldn't wait, so I went to Jiffy Lube. They asked what service I wanted and I told them. When the guy went to take my card and said I would be charged over $80 I said "Woah...it's an oil change, what's with the $80 charge!?" He had to stop the crew from working because they had already begun to give me some supreme service that I did not request. A gal washed my windows and basically just smeared the dirt around so I asked her to stop and that I planned to wash my car when I got home. I paid nearly $65 for an oil change and smeared windows. About a month later, I noticed oil stains in my driveway and inspected my car. Sure enough, there was an oil leak on my 2015 car. When the oil filter was removed, we found that the O ring hadn't been placed in the groove correctly and oil had been leaking all over my motor for the entire time. When I checked the oil reading, it showed that it was down to to 64%. So, after paying $65 for a bad oil change, I now had to shell out $$$ for a new oil filter and 5 quarts of oil not to mention cleaning up the mess that it left behind. I will never again go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. read more
