Never have I ever gone to a Jiffy Lube. I'm the type of vehicle owner that always gets the required work completed via the dealership in which I purchased/leased from. However, I live 38 miles away from the dealership that I lease from and though I adore them, I needed assistance ASAP today with a brake fluid exchange and power wheel steering to get ready for my upcoming 300+ mile trip tomorrow morning. Luckily, I was able to place an estimate request in the night before, got an estimate within an hour of requesting it and was advised via email to show up WHENEVER I could between their open hours for the work to be done. How EASY! Upon arrival, I was greeted by super nice staff--I was led to a very clean and welcoming waiting room which had freshly made coffee and a working TV. I was able to take a work call the entire time without an issue. The members on deck for my servicing were Andrew B. and Clifford S. They were AWESOME! I was in and out within less than 35 minutes. Best customer service I've had! Who knew getting work done on your car could be so straightforward and easy? I called as soon as the store opened to see if I could get my breaks fixed and Brian told me to bring it in that morning. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted and checked in. I received a call with a quote and the work was done a few hours later. I paid and my car was ready with a the door opened! Wished every place was so well organized and managed. Car service was fine as far as I know, but the low rating goes for the customer service. I know this is not a 5-Star hotel or a Chick-fil-A, but service was pretty poor. I had a coupon a roommate gave me (addressed to them) and the first employee said although its from another Jiffy Lube, we can probably take it. A higher up came over and disagreed and then stated the car didn't match the coupon... it's a coupon, but okay. A nice thing would've been to honor it because he had already heard the promise. After I paid ($95 for synthetic), I found that locations code in 30 seconds. A decent thing to do if its that readily available would have just been to give it to the customer then tell that employee not to make promises they aren't sure about. I will never go back to another jiffy lube ever. The snarky, asshat kid informed me that my 2012 Fiat needed synthetic oil, had a skid plate (which is true) and he couldn't reset the car to show the 100% oil change message. He told me that I had to call the dealer to get a code in order to reset. That is clearly a lie. I googled this and it was nothing more than turning the key, pumping the gas pedal and it was reset. Due to this location and the liars they have working for them I will NEVER GO BACK TO JIFFY LUBE. Buyer Beware Women Beware Millersville or Pasadena Maryland locations. This is the best JIFFY LUBE location to visit in ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. Vernon and his staff are fantastic!!! There was no pushy selling of filters, additives or wipers. I went in for a oil change and that's what I got with quick superior service!! The crew vacuumed my van and cleaned the windows while the oil was being changed. The location is clean, well lit and easy to get to. Vernon took time to explain to me why my van is burning oil so fast. He suggested that I come in weekly for free to have them check my levels. read more

Had to take my car to the dealership after this jiffy lube changed my oil. They didn't clean my car properly or tighten my oil drain plug. I had massive oil leak and am fortunate that I noticed before my car engine was ruined. Jiffy Lube will take no responsibility for their negligence. BEWARE!!! I came in for an oil change and left with major mechanical problems. A second visit diagnostic was poorly done. 500+ dollars later I drove away with brand new spark plugs, and all the same new problems. A kind offer for them to take yet another look at my car the third day was declined. Car taken to another mechanic, I won't be going back to that Jiffy Lube, or probably any Jiffy Lube. Staff is very kind, but they were in over their heads with my car. Not happy. Don't be seduced by convenience!!! Find a trustworthy independent local mechanic instead!! read more

I got an oil change from here late last week. This past saturday, I was driving on I-95 and the splash shield/guard underneath my engine loosened and started getting dragged along the ground. I applied the brakes and pulled off to the side. I attached some wire to secure the shield in place before driving on home. Despite the speedy service i received here for an oil change, i would prefer to have had it done well and with care. For $100 after their $5 discount, it is still well above what i normally pay. I stopped by my local autozone to buy the clips to secure the shield in place so that's a few more dollars on top of the 100$ i paid. I won't be going back even for their "free offers", because i'm afraid of any other potential negligence read more

For a jiffy Lube the lobby was very clean as well as the oil change bays definitely a cut above your average Jiffy Lube I actually watched them check everything and they were super thorough. I stopped in this week April 16, 2018 to have an oil change. All new staff at the Veterans Highway location. Oil change was fine, but then my battery was dead, they tried battery to battery no charge, then the mechanic took a metal tool and hit something under the hood 3 times. I'm still calm and not too worried. The mechanic then hooked my battery up to a car battery. I should state that my car is a 2015 Acura. Then the mechanic told me it was the starter and went to his computer and a new starter would cost $616 and change. Still calm I walked outside and made a phone call, while on the call the mechanic comes out to me and says it's not the battery and its not the starter everything is fine. Hmmmm????? Needless to say .....I won't be going back! Something shady going on for sure. read more

As the only place to go for an oil change, I've been to many JL's but this has had the best service-hands down. They are super quick, efficient, and don't try to upsell you all that junk. Started coming here after the employees at my old car service place made me feel extremely uncomfortable... Haven't had an issue since! The Jiffy Lube @ Veterans Highway employees are extremely professional and never pushy. They walk each customer to their car, and hold the door open for them as they get in. Today I came for an oil change and they didn't have my oil filter in stock... They said their shipment would come in on Friday, but told me if i was willing to wait they'd go buy a filter from down the street and put it in today so I wouldn't have to come back. Almost caused me to wreck with my daughter in the car. I was told they would add windshield fluid to the car and I even reminded them before we left, but in the sleet I tried using it and they didn't fill it! Couldn't clear my windshield, couldn't see and almost wrecked! Then they said they vacuumed and they left the car a mess but sprayed some vanilla stuff to shut me up! Never go back! We have had multiple dealings with this Jiffy Lube and they are outstanding. We have had dealers give us a list of "needed" repairs and then gone to this Jiffy Lube and they said what was needed and what was not. This has happened on more than one occasion. I took my car to get an oil change, about a week and a half later my oil light came on. It needed about 3.5 qts. Took it to the dealership the next day because I thought there was a serious oil leak, since the engine was covered in oil. The dealership checked and found that the Oil filter housing was cracked. and told me it was going to be over $800 in replacement and repairs. The man said that when they changed the filter they must have cracked it. Being very upset I called the owner of the Jiffy Lube and told him what had happened, He immediately said they would repair it. I told him it was at the dealership, so He payed for the towing to his full service Jiffy Lube on Veterans Hwy and the $130 diagnostic charge. I was so impressed. In this day and age I was shocked that there are still honest and upstanding business people. Jay the owner was Awesome! We take several of our vehicles to them and we are always treated great. I will definitely continue to go back, and now I will take my vehicles if they need repairs there too, Since they are a full service Station. I trust them especially after this incident. read more
