Even though Jiffy Lube no longer offers first responder/law-enforcement discounts, he was able to find a coupon that we could use. Much appreciated. I'd give zero stars if possible. This is the 3rd time in a row I've been to this location over the past 2 weeks to try and get my oil changed. First time they couldn't help because they were in the middle of a shift change, okay no problem. The next time they said they needed to order the filter for my car and it would be available in a day. Third and final time, I get there about a week after they said they ordered the filter...still no filter and no oil change. This place used to be really easy to go to and close to home but now it's a monumental waste of time. Highly recommend avoiding this place and going elsewhere. read more

For a starter, they are expensive compared to Pep Boys. The job was sloppy. Oil change with synthetic oil cost $141 @ Jiffy Lube and $119 @ Pep boys. They did not put the plastic cover over radiator back and left it on top of the engine. Worst is when I woke up next morning, there was oil drips in my driveway and it left a terrible mark. I thought they did not tighten the plug. When I took the car back in , they looked at it and said the plug was tight but they had neglected to clean up the oil residue left during oil change. They cleaned the residue and told us we were set to go. Now that I have an oil mark in my driveway, I will keep thinking of Jiffy Lube in a negative way. read more

I live near this business complex. And I wanted to support our local business even though Jiffy lube had a bad reputation. I arrived at around 4pm & waited for 5 mins. until I was told they were servicing 2 cars ahead of me. All I needed was an oil change & they told me the 2 cars who were ahead of me were the last cars for the day. I was disappointed knowing that it would have taken not more than 30 mins. for an oil change. I used to change oil on my van but decided to take it in.. I do like coming to this location because it's very convenient. However the one thing that is a turn off is watching the technicians stand around my car and shoot the shit while one casually vapes and screws around when there are people waiting. Historically, I've had good experience with Jiffy Lube. I've been using Moorpark location for about 10 years. Unfortunately, current staff experience and honesty is not the same as before. Came here for oil change 10/31/20. Everything went well on the visit. Afterwards, I noticed fresh oil leak / stain on my floor. Went back to this location a few days afterwards to inform them on the fresh leak that I start having right after my oil change. The staff took a quick look and refused to acknowledge that the leak is related to the oil change. Finally I got time to take the car to my other mechanic in the valley and he immediately spotted the leak from both the oil filter and oil drain plug. He redo the oil change, replaced the gaskets, and now I don't have oil leak anymore. Very disappointed in current staff at this location... read more

It's too bad we can't give the franchise as well as Jiffy Lube Corporate a lower score! On Labor Day we made an appointment to have a transmission service. We arrived at the location to received the worst approach possible. First there were 2 techs that looked like they were on break. When told what the appointment was for a transmission service. The tech got all excited and said we had to wait.His arms were flailing and he acted very unprofessional. The other tech just watched as he was tooo busy also. We decided there was no way we were leaving the car after his attitude break down. We left!!! Then sent a text to corporate!!!! Waste of Time in contacting them. !!!!! Explained the entire situation. They contacted us back by email saying they would call the franchisee. If we had not heard from the franchisee in 36 hours to contact corporate back. I contacted corporate back as they had directed and no contact from the franchisee. NOW no reply from corporate and no contact from the franchisee! So moral to this story is Jiffy is a lot of talk and no action. I guess good service as we received starts at the top. All we wanted was to spend money at Jiffy Lube for a reasonable service. Only issue is they spend a lot of time chatting amongst themselves which significantly adds to how long it takes to complete a basic oil change. If they could just spend more time focusing on providing the service they would get a higher rating. read more

We have a fleet of vehicles and this place is our local service location. They tried upwelling me on synthetic oil and i declined. They will not service you. Hard to believe that the truck i just attempted to have service has had many oil changes with non synthetic oils. I went into the Jiffy Lube in Moorpark for a routine oil change. I wasn't expecting the service I was about to get. The technicians here noticed that the skid plate under my car was missing several bolts and was only being held on by two, and would soon fall off. They notified me of this issue right away. I was worried about how much this was about to cost me by going to a dealership, another auto repair shop, or by doing it myself. I do not own Jack stands or a Jack to lift the car. But, the gentleman here offered to put it back on for me at no cost, as long I can get the correct bolts. Luckily, I was able to get them, and within a few minutes of returning to this location, they placed the skid plate back on. So instead of paying god knows how much by going elsewhere for labor and parts, I only spent a little under $30 for the bolts. Thank you for saving me in so many ways today! Money, stress and time! I went to this Moorpark location on Sunday for an oil change. Michael & his team are fantastic. They are friendly, courteous & professional. I had such a positive experience I returned the next day for a brake job. The process took a little longer than anticipated. During my wait the shop was busy but Michael took a few moments to update me on my car as well made sure I was ok. That kind of behavior is appreciated!
