I went to this Jiffy Lube station this afternoon. I was the only one in line. Then another car showed up. I waited about 15 minutes and then looked to see if they had even started on my car and no they had not and nor had they started on the other car. They just chatted with each other back and forth between my car and the other gals car . Then I began watching them through the window and after about 20 minutes I went out and asked them if they had started the oil change on my car and no they had not. They did vacuum the front of my car and after another 5 minutes they finally did change the oil. I asked them 3 times to check my tire pressure. They did, and chose not to fill the tire that was low even though I told them simi lube always filled the tire when it was low. They did not wash the exterior windows nor do all of the other items they profess to do during an oil change. They did however try to get me to spend another $74 flushing the gas line. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or not but the other gal that came in right after me was getting the same treatment. A young man had come in after us and he was waiting as well. By the time they were finally done changing the oil in my car there were four or five more cars in line. Believe me wanted to talk with every single one of those people waiting in line to tell them not to waste their time or their money there. That was the worst service I have ever had at an oil change station ever and I will never visit that station again. We went to Jiffy Lube to have our car serviced and while we were sitting there are light started to go to HOT And that's bad so my mom asked the man to please look over our car and make sure it was safe for us to drive in the man looked at our car and told us everything on our car was good after he put some juices in it and my mom was very worried about the HOT light that was now on in the car but I mechanic told us that we are for sure safe to leave because the HOT light would need to reset it self. But that never did happen. We were driving away and we got up on the freeway and our car died on us and just stop driving in the middle of the freeway we could not even get out of our car because the cars were driving by us all around very fast and we could not move. My mom started to cry and she took my and I will call the police to help us and then she called the triple a man in him and the police came and stopped all of the traffic by swerving in their car and he took me and my mom out of the car and put us in the tow truck man's car. This was very scary because my mom was crying and we were stuck in our car and now we don't even have a car and the man at the Jiffy Lube Place is not being very nice because They don't want to get in trouble so my advice is to go to college And learn to change your own oil and do not go to Jiffy Lube because they are not very nice. read more

If I could give ten stars I would. First time taking my car to this location. Sean was great and thoroughly talked me through the whole process and how long it would take. They did a great job. When I was on my way home my check engine light came on and I noticed my car was sputtering. (Not related to the service they performed) This was now after closing time, I called them anyway to see if maybe they could help me. Thankfully Sean answered the call and said he would wait for me to bring the car back and check it out. After connecting it to the meter it appears I have a misfire. Of course I was freaking out if the car was drivable and what repairs this would mean and the cost. He very kindly went out of his way to walk me through what it could be and gave me a great estimate for the parts and repairs needed. A few days passed and I scheduled and brought my car back in for the work. As he said he would, they saved me money and fixed my car up to running back to normal. I happened to leave my spare key fob there and they kindly called me and were able to return it to me saving me even more money. So grateful to the guys that work there and worked on my car, especially Sean for providing outstanding customer service. This is my new place for oil changes and any repairs they may do. This is a great place to get excellent service at good prices with courteous and professional people. Ricardo assisted me today, and I couldn't ask for better. My engine check light had come on, and since I was due for an oil change anyway, I was hoping maybe it was simply indicating that one of my fluids was low. Ricardo immediately explained that whatever it was indicating would not be something they could fix--that it could be a sensor or one of several other things, and would need to see a mechanic about the warning light. I had my oil changed as well as some other things that were overdue (there was no hard sell or scare tactics whatsoever) and before I left, Ricardo gave my car a complimentary diagnostic to find out what was causing the warning light! This is a service I would have had to pay quite a bit for at a mechanic. Ricardo gave me the code number from the diagnostic and a written explanation of what it meant (I need to have my exhaust system checked and fixed) so I would know what to tell my mechanic. I saw them cleaning my windows, and think they may have vacuumed the front of the car as well. For all the work they did, I felt the price was very reasonable, and was given 10% off and a coupon for my next visit. You can bet I will go back! Thanks so much, Ricardo! read more

If Yelp had a no stars option, I would be more comfortable choosing no stars at all. I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to warn others about our experience. We took our car to the Jiffy Lube located at 1515 Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA, and it was an absolute disappointment. Not only were the prices unreasonable, but the service caused serious harm to our car. They asked if we wanted windshield washer fluid added, and trusting them, we agreed. Unfortunately, what they added smelled like dirty sewage water. The entire car was filled with a horrible smell that we thought was due to something dying inside the motor. It was only after taking the car to a trusted mechanic that we found out the true cause -- the contaminated windshield fluid. It is incredibly sad to see such negligence and a lack of professionalism. We trusted this establishment, and instead, we were left dealing with an unnecessary and very unpleasant problem. I cannot recommend this location, and I personally will never use their services again. I hope the company looks into the practices happening at this location because what they are doing is unethical and harmful. Please be cautious and reconsider before trusting your vehicle to this Jiffy Lube. read more

I've been here twice to have my employer's car serviced. As a single gal I've been hyped up with all the horror stories about being lied to and ripped off. I've never truly listened to it 'tho, but as a consumer I am careful because I have been swindle-attempted by other far less reputable shops. Not Jiffy Lube in my past experiences (I've always gone to them) or this location off Tapo Street. EXCELLENT service both with the autos and reception. HONEST techs. Waiting area nice and cool, the guys work really hard here and are busy- I hope their location comes back around, but they are busy. Efficient with no overdue wait times. I've only been there when I was either first or up to 3rd in line...but they still get me 'thru in their classic timing. read more

Went in for an oil change and the staff was very helpful and nice! I wasn't able to actually get the service done because my car ended up having other problems that needed to be fixed first (oil leak). The guys working on my car let me know of the problem before servicing my car so I would not be paying for something that would not necessarily fix my problem. They even courteously put some oil in my car so I could make it a mechanic without further damage. It was nice to be serviced by honest employees especially when it was pretty obvious I was oblivious to car matters. I will definitely be going there from now on.Thank you! read more

Arriving to Jiffy Lube in Simi Valley was easy and quick. Manager Matt who assisted in confirming vehicle lights were working effectively , very professional. The whole team wore masks. It felt very safe and clean. Matt recommend a few other things that actually matter! He made sure my vehicle got a proper oil change, air filter was very dirty he replaced it with a bran new one, top off the coolant, all fluids! The whole team was alert and worked efficiently and made my oil change extremely satisfying. Thank you Jiffy Lube! I wrote my review quite some time ago after Jiffy Lube caused my engine to blow and leave me stranded as a single mom of 5 in the middle of the freeway with no transportation scared out of my mind. Jiffy lube then contacted m e through yelp on that post and said PLEASE contact them and they would help me solve this problem. I have et to ever hear back from them and no bone returned my messages. I am so heartbroken, this has set back my life in a huge way. I can no longer even work because of the issue. they posted they wanted to help for all of you too see but they don't really mean it :( read more
