Showed up, mechanic flagged me to a roll up door. Pulled up and was informed only two people were working and it was going to take an hour. He then repeated it which didn't bother me so I asked if I should just leave since he felt the need to tell me three times...he just stared at me. So I left. I went to get an oil change. Turned out the oil my car needs only VW carries it as of right now. Brandon provided the best customer service I've ever received getting my car serviced (especially as a woman), even though I didn't end up getting the oil change there! He was kind enough to let me know when they will receive the type of oil, as well answer my questions. He even proceeded to check where my oil was and let me know where to go and when. I had a great experience with the team over at Jiffy Lube today. I called in advance to see if I needed to make an appointment to get an oil change or how long the current wait was. They were very helpful on the phone and fortunately there was only one other car there that was leaving so the service was very quick. The main office was nicely air-conditioned (especially with all this crazy heat) and clean. What I most appreciated was Joe walking me through my car's inspection point by point, allowing me to ask questions and really understand what he was telling me. I admit I don't know squat about cars so sometimes other places will quickly run through everything and not ask me if I had any question and/or understood everything. Also, there were some other suggestions for my car that I was not ready to fix at that moment and I really appreciated them printing out all that information and the price quotes so I could refer to them later. I don't have the best memory (especially with car stuff) so it was great that they gave me that sheet; other places I've gone too either illegibly scribble some of the info on the corner of the receipt or just tell me to call if I need to ask again which isn't helpful at all. The whole team was friendly and professional. After everything, I was surprised that they vacuumed the whole inside of my car for me - unexpected perk. I definitely will be coming back. I just got back from there. The best experience I have ever had getting an oil change! Brandon seriously needs a raise or promoted for his hard work and dedication! I was way past an oil change due to everything going on. I raced there after work and they were closed, but he knew I was desperate and took me right away. You shouldn't offer break services if you employees aren't trained properly. Don't get me wrong I know what breaks I need for my car i by them myself. However if your company wants to preform breaks service you shouldn't be asking the customer what break their car needs not everyone knows that information. Not honest work! I take two of my cars here and multiple times I noticed they don't fill up my oil or top off other fluids. Just recently I had to check my tires and went in to another shop, they checked everything for me and then said you're low on oil!!!! What??? I just had an oil change at jiffy about 2-3 weeks ago max! They added 2 additional quarts to my car! I will not be returning here. Two cars they've lost! Please check everything before you leave this place. Trust me, it will happen to you. read more

Got an oil change and they took care of everything, cleaned the windows, topped of water and air, and were very friendly.

I took my fleet work truck for it's scheduled maintenance. Part of it was to replace the windshield wiper and check brakes. I left and a couple of days later noticed that neither of those things were done, even though on my receipt they had been charged and said they had been done. What else did they not do!? $30 to replace each wiper seems a little over priced if you ask me! read more

Stopped in to get a basic oil change, the car was a little low on oil and making a slight click, as a result the "technician" asked me to pop the hood. He looked at the top of the engine for two seconds and came to the window and said "So your car is leaking coolant (which it wasn't, but I guess he can't tell the difference between A/C condensation and actual engine coolant, let alone see that from the top of the engine), and the engine has a click (which went away when I had the oil changed at a different company), so today we are not going to be able to service your vehicle today." Wow, guess I was too much work for the three employees who were standing around in a circle scratching their backsides. Avoid this service center and take your money elsewhere, it'll turn out better for your car and your day. read more

True story... Two years ago, against my advice, my daughter took her Mazda 6 to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. A few days later her engine light comes on and the car stops dead in the middle of Princeton while she's driving and even the starter won't turn the engine over. She has it towed to our house where I look at it and determine that the engine is out of oil and completely seized. After looking under the car, it's obvious that it has been leaking oil everywhere. We called Jiffy Lube and they immediately denied any responsibility and blamed our daughter for the problem. We then took it to an independent mechanic for a professional opinion and called Jiffy Lube's corporate office. The independent mechanic determined that instead of using the correct factory tool, someone had used channel lock pliers to tighten the plastic oil filter housing and cracked it. This caused all the oil to slowly spray out from under the car when running. To their credit, Jiffy Lube sent out their own mechanic from corporate and he did determine that it was their fault. Jiffy Lube paid to replace the engine in our daughter's car. As I've always said - DO NOT take your car to Jiffy Lube. It's not worth it... read more

The staff is friendly, but I came in to have my headlights fixed because I was having poor visibility at night. After a very long wait, they reported that they replaced the headlights and I was on my way. Unfortunately, that night as I drove through a very dark canyon, I could not see at all without turning on my brights. When I brought my car back, they walked me to the car, turned on the lights, and showed me that, yes, they were on. Confused, I took my car elsewhere for a second opinion. It turns out, you can adjust your headlights. Jiffy Lube had mine pointing down and sideways. If a place is charging to fix cars...they should actually know about cars. Unfortunately, their mistake had extremely dangerous consequences for me. read more

I've gone to this place for a year now, every two months or so, and I've had it! They are always understaffed and what should take 15-45 minutes ends up taking 90! Really annoyed with this place. I get there and they are trying to charge me for the high mileage oil change when I have only 30k miles on my car. After arguing with them they finally agree to do the one I want. Then I get my car back and on the receipt it says they vacuumed the floors and washed the exterior windows. I went to Jiffy lube last year to get an oil change for my Toyota 4Runner. After 4 months I went to Simi Auto Spa to get an oil change and free carwash, and the person working on my car called me over and asked who did your last oil change and I told him Jiffy Lube,he told me that they put an oil filter that is for a toyota camry on my 4Runner and it could have caused damages. I will never go back to any Jiffy Lube. read more

Well the service was fast so I'll give them a star for that, but the pricing and communication sucks. I found a number of other places such as Pep Boys who offer full synthetic oil changes for about half of what Jiffy Lube does. Online they said they accept competitor coupons and then when I tried to call the shop they would answer the phone. No pricing available online either. When I got to the shop they didn't have any pricing posted either. Next time I'm definitely going to Pep boys. read more

Beware of the "oil pan gasket leak" and "excessive oil leak" on your invoice! I went through hell to get them to admit that they do this as a CYA (cover your ass) incase a client returns due to shoddy incompetent work. They did the same thing to the customer before me. I can go on and write about when I proved the oil pan was not leaking they changed the oil pan leak to a leak in my transmission pan and they had wrote down the wrong area of the car. Bottom line - I have filed a complaint report to the Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). I suggest you do the same and put an end to this dishonest conduct. read more

I like this place cuz the young kids that work there are friendly, but who ever is running the place should provide pre work sheet that shows what will be done to the car. Usually, you sign for authorization of service, but last two times they just did the work base on previous visit. Didn't even ask what type oil I want to use, and didn't even try to sell me filters. I had to ask for a new air filter. Didn't complain cuz I got what I wanted, but they should change procedure. What if I wanted other service? If I could, I would give 0/5. Beyond disappointed in this location, management especially as I have been going here for years and wasn't let down till my visit just a few days ago. DO NOT go for their new " other services", I am trying to save you the hassle I had to go through. They do not know what they are doing to the point they went to the auto shop next door for help instead of letting the customer know which was me what is going on. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service like they promised to keep in touch and update me at certain times which resulted in them taking over 3-5 hours after the said time to respond or until I would call and finally get a response. And the fact that they tried to make their mistakes the customers' fault instead of owning up is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Do not go to this location, trust me. Go to Moorpark Tires and Auto Care right next door instead, they won't screw you over or overcharge you like Jiffy Lube does and plus, the owner is amazing and is great and honest about fixing your car or tires! read more

Went there on a Saturday morning and being a weekend you would think they would have more than 2 workers???? It was an hour wait. Poor service in my opinion, poor planning by staff for a busy weekend, and most likely that's a reflection of their work quality. Find another store perhaps in Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley. read more
