Timing is everything when going here, and it's usually luck. One day there might be five people in line and the next day nobody. I haven't been to one of these and had little expectations other than their efficiency. I was not disappointed the manager you could tell was knowledgeable about cars and we had a good discussion about whether to flush different fluids or not i.e. transmission radiator, etc. they did perform some maintenance. Terrible customer service and I never made it into the building. I sent in an estimate over the weekend for their services and was sent a email that I'd get a call when they are open on Monday. I didn't receive a call in the morning so I called them instead on Monday when they were open and was told they were too busy ("elbow deep in a car right now") so they'd call me back. Cool, makes sense, but I, again, never received any response or callback. Today, when contacted them for the third time now, whoever answered the phone had an attitude problem, and wouldn't listen to me about the services I was asking for, nor explain anything to me about the pricing range because it's over the phone. He also added they probably didn't call me back yesterday because I was asking for pricing over the phone (not because they were busy like the other guy originally stated) and didn't want to give out a price range without seeing the car, which is understandable, but are you honestly telling me that there isn't even a minuscule amount of money that I would need for the simplest version of this job all the way up to replacing everything? Cause that's literally all I was asking for, so if/when I do come in, I'm not empty handed and wasting their time by even being in the lobby. I mean, that's the whole reason you're able to take these types of calls and make appointments because not everyone is able to just come sit down and wait on their vehicle!! Look if you don't wanna take my money and would rather send me somewhere else, that's fine, but you don't have to be rude to me because you're possibly behind at work or having a bad day. I'm a paying customer who also works in the automotive industry looking for help with my car so I don't know where or what the issue is with this staff (both on 3/16 around 12:30 and 3/17 at 11:30) but I will never spend another cent on any Jiffy Lube based on their rudeness and unwillingness to help or even spend 5 minutes on the phone with a potential customer. Wish I had done some research before the service experience I have had today. Horrible service by the person's name SHAUN K. 11940 RILEY ST, Overland Park, KS 66213 Blue Very disrespectful and dishonest. He said the cost to replace the bulb, and labor will be $200 and it will take 45 mins to an hour. After he finished the work, he charged me $284.64. I asked politely that he said $100 for bulb and $100 for labor. He bluntly said, I never said that, it was just an estimate and estimate can't be same as final bill. He never said it was an estimate to me. All he said it will be $200. And even it was an estimate when I was right there, he never said that your cost will be higher than what I have estimated before. During few mins of discussions/arguments he said I didn't include tax, I said, I'm fine to pay tax so it will still be around $220 total but he kept on talking in high pitch, started moving the chair (in aggression), took the car key out and said, you can call whoever, manager, police but this is what you have to pay. I never experienced such service from any mechanic shop. Jiffy Lube is reputed company and employees like that will hurt its image. I hope someone from Jiffy Lube management take some actions against this employee. read more

They performed efficiently and completed the service in reasonabletime. I called ahead to see if I could make an appointment but it was first come, first serve. Whenever I got there, there were no cars there! I was in and out quickly and everyone was super friendly. I had a $15 off synthetic oil change from their website, but they ended up giving me $20 off instead. It was $90 for the oil, $40 for the air filter. Ended up paying about $125! We got to stay in the car the entire time and they even have a little air conditioner for us. The drive-up service was super convenient during this time. So I go into the waiting area and no one is at the counter. I see someone and he says hello. I wait. I go out to garage. I ask if anyone is there. Someone in banging around in the pit but does not answer me. I go back out and finally the person that greeted me comes back. I ask if they are open. He says no - there's a sign on the door. Sure enough, a sign on the inside of a tinted door said "please excuse the mess. See another location." I will never come back on the fact someone greeted me and didn't tell me - YOURE CLOSED. The team at this location is so courteous. You're walked to the spacious waiting area (checkers board included) and alerted to the locations of the beverage station and restroom. Every customer was given consisted service and friendliness. Prompt updates on your vehicle's service were timely and appropriate. I came to this location for an AC recharge, and the team took great care of assuring successful completion of the task. My car decided to spontaneously combust the other day and was flashing all sorts of warning signs at me on my dashboard. I high-tailed it over to Jiffy Lube after work and had them look my poor car over. There was no line and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. They didn't charge me for whatever they did to my car (getting rid of the check engine light and putting air in the tires). Overall I'd call that a sucess! read more

Made this account to specifically post this review. Relied on them to provide me with the proper oil and filter for my vehicle given my lack of knowledge and they sold me a 10k mile synthetic knowing the accompanying filter would only last roughly 5k mile before needing replacement. Their warranty conveniently ends at 5k miles as well. Called in for an explanation and was spoken to in a condescending manner and laughed at and no genuine attempt to explain the situation to me despite me obviously not being knowledgeable on the topic, going so far as laughing at my confusion. Bottom line: will sell you a product they know you will not get the full value of if they think they can take advantage of you. read more

Well maybe they are usually better than they were today but I will never know. Pulled in at 950 am still sitting in waiting room at 10:20am. The women at the counter has not even Acknowledged anyone in the waiting room. I have never been to a jiffy lube where they don't check you in so you can do what you need to do. The women just sat there and acted like no one was around. So I walk to the counter and stand there thinking this may indicate that I would like to talk to someone. Nothing.... well I have things I need to do I would have liked to leave and come back to pick up my car but apparently my business is not valued here. Then I go out because I am just going to leave and the women that had ignored the fact that I have even been in her presence says if they want to drop off they have to let me know. Oh excuse me?? Asked for oil change and tire rotation. They waited until after starting the oil change to tell me they can't do tire rotation. I would have gone somewhere else. Didn't clean the windshield. Claimed the bugs wouldn't come off with paper towels. I do far better at a service station when I get gas. Very slow! read more

Went in for an oil change a few days ago. All staff was very nice. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The manager Louis I think was his name gave me a $10 discount. I did not feel pressured for any other services. They also cleaned my car very nicely dust vacuum and all. I was not expecting a clean car after the oil change. Took another thing off my to-do list!
