I went here during my lunch break to get my car inspected I was greeted with the usual greeting from Jiffy lube, but I was told it was going to be a 2 hour wait. So I parked my car and I had someone come pick me up. I forgot something in my car so I went back to pick it up about 30 minutes later and I see my car had been moved so I go ask about it. No one really knew why my car was moved so I waited for about 5-10 minutes and I got an answer that my emergency brake was not working so they didn't even continue the test which I thought was a little odd since it is a 2009 and I use my emergency brake all the time to park. So I took my car home and I realized no one tried to call me even though the car was completed way before the 2 hour window. Then I took my car somewhere else the next day and my car passed!!! I even mentioned the emergency brake and they said it worked fine. All in all I wish I got better service that I have come to expect from jiffy lube i think if anything i'll stick to getting my oil changes there when I need them. read more

I've been coming here for years with all our family's cars. Probably over 50 visits over the years for oil changes and inspections. They do seem to have a lot of change in staff, and it's usually young guys, but I've never had a serious problem here. Only once did I have to come back to have the oil filter tightened up a little for small oil drip. Sure they do POLITELY try to up-sell sometimes, but it's usually not completely unwarranted. Once you simply say "no thanks, I'll do it myself" that's the end of it. Most importantly they have never gold digged on an inspection with me like some other shops in the area have! read more

They are really friendly here but of course try to upsell you on services. I have had to come in a few times to get my tire pressure checked out because my light kept coming on and the guys working there have been very friendly and helpful, however, I do not think they put in the right amount of pressure in my tires as I had to get it corrected by my dealership. But the customer services is great and I would highly recommend them for basic things such as oil changes and state inspection services. read more

I generally had decent luck with this shop for vehicle inspections in the past even though I'd heard them give others a lot of grief. For example, another individual in the waiting room with me this morning was going to fail inspection because the inspector asserted his windshield wipers were too worn. Okay, sure, good wipers are important but then it was my turn. The inspector failed my vehicle because he claimed the airhorn I have installed on my Miata, the same safety horn installed on thousands of Miatas across the country, sounded like a whistle to him. I can totally understand failing someone because of some odd novelty horn or a non-functioning horn, but it was quite a stretch to claim this horn was a whistle. It clearly met the state's requirement of being audible within 250 feet and was not overly harsh. To add insult to injury, it passed inspection at this same location the year prior. After this incident and hearing them upsell unnecessary work on others vehicles, I'm done with them. Too bad as prior to this everyone had seemed fairly friendly and diligent, but this combined with the incessant upsells has me taking my business elsewhere. read more

I want to give this place zero stars. Do not go here. Not to mention that they try and sell you on services that they don't even have an explanation for, and not only do they offer a $39.99 oil that they don't "recommend", but the attitude of the guys there were like they were doing me a favor. The worst thing is, and I plan on making sure the owner/corporate office knows, but I'm 100% sure that the manager had been drinking. He smelled like booze and was slurring his words. Had a great experience getting my oil changed here! Awesome service, friendly employees & thorough service

I would not recommend this Jiffy Lube. The staff was rude and used sales tactics to aggressively sell me different services. I told the employee I wanted the basic oil change, but he started me off with one that was more expensive. When I asked what I got (after services had been rendered) for the additional money, he told me I got my tires checked and car vacuumed. The staff tried to sell me on more expensive oil. After declining, they showed me the color of my oil and several staff members were telling me how bad my engine was and that I needed an $80 engine flush. After declining, they offered to cut the price by $30. I declined again. Later, the manager came in with my dip stick to again tell me how much I need an engine flush. Overall, I feel they were trying to hustle me. The tactics used were clearly sales tactics. I have had good experiences at Jiffy Lube's, but this one clearly is pressuring employees to up sell. Five star for excellent customer service and good work. For starters I'll say that the biggest reason I'm writing this is the customer service. The minute I parked a guy named Daniel came up and offered to help. He then led me over to Mark who took care of the rest. He offered me a fair price for changing out my differential fluid as well as my transfer case fluid and explained everything they would do including reassuring me that they would be using synthetic factory spec fluids. He pointed out a few things throughout the service and did a great job of getting me in and out. I'm a guy that usually takes care of my own maintenance, but with service and overall experience like this I will definitely come back for items I can't or don't have time to do myself. I'll also recommend them to friends or family. Keep up the good work and good attitude. read more

I needed to get my car inspected, I called ahead to see if they could still see me, they said yes. When I arrived at 3 pm the inspector said he wasn't staying past 4 pm, I could wait if I wanted but he wouldn't guarantee to see my car. First impression? Wow. I really can't believe how someone would say that to a customer. I wish I had the luxury of telling customers I can't guarantee I'm going to help them. Why would tell me on the phone I could come in and get my car inspected when there are people Next time, don't waste my time. I went to this place to get a headlight restoration , I have a 2015 Dodge Challenger and the work on my headlights came out like new and i was really impressed . I did have a hiccup , bc the technician Dascious lost my metal clipping for my Plastic housing for my headlights . He was honest , he tried to retrieve it, but it was lost somewhere in my car and he could not be retrieve it, he will order a new one from the dealership and install at a later date, I appreciate his integrity and honesty. I give him a lot of respect and was not upset or angry . He was a good guy and tried to go out of his way to provide outstanding customer service and I am grateful for his honesty. Later on during the day, I noticed my passenger headlight was not working and I called jiffy lube about the situation. Josh answered the phone and he was very courteous and professional, he told me to bring my car into the shop and he will take a look at it and if necessary replace my headlight bulb. He went above and beyond to provide me with awesome customer service . This is what I call a Good Ole boy, bc he personally went to Advance Auto Zone and replace my headlight w/o charging me . I am very grateful for their outstanding customer service. These guys are great honest guys that will go out of their way to help you, I do not fault all the things that happen to my car to the technician , bc mistakes happen and he was honest about his mistake. This jiffy lube has outstanding Customer Service , they are professional , courteous and down to earth good guys, that are honest and wont leave you in the dark. I felt like I owe it to everyone to share. I am one of those who is hesitant to go anywhere for an oil change and would rather just keep topping it off myself, even though I know after so many times you really need to get it changed. I knew I needed to do what I needed to do. I called ahead to ask about pricing and it was 39.99 for the oil specialty where they top off your other fluids, vacuum your carpet (which was way overdue for me), wipe your windows and change your oil. So I went with that over the 20something price of just an oil change. He was very kind and clear about everything and said they just got through the rush and have no one currently so I could be in and out within 15 minutes if I got there in the next 10 minutes, which I was planning on doing anyway. I get there, he met me at my car, I gave him the keys and they pulled in my car right away as the other mechanic walked me inside and told me where things were. I was there for, honestly it didn't even seem like 15 minutes. Then when I paid, he proceeded to give me the 10dollar discount even though I had not printed off a coupon that I had seen online. I didn't even mention it because I had no way of printing it at the time. So that was very nice. He walked me to my car, placed the sticker on my windsheild and I was good to go. I felt like it was done in a jiffy! I am now less stressed about my car. I have procrastinated getting an oil change for a really long time..... like 9 months. Called before going to make sure they had everything that was needed for an oil change on my Mini Cooper, I was told over the phone they had everything that was needed. After getting there and paying for the services an employee came out and said they didn't have the extractor needed for my car, they brought my car out and said they wouldn't be able to do it and that they were already closing. If I could give -1 star, I would in a heartbeat. So this four eyed asshole named Shon has been a real prick to need Everytime I have gone to this particular Jiffy lube. Don't ever go there and here's why. My first encounter with this guy was in January, I still hadn't reached my 3,000 mile limit for the free top offs so I had a few minutes and I stopped by for the top off. Keep in mind this was my first time seeing him, he asked what I needed and I told him to top me off. He said, I'm not doing that because I know your over your limit, I said, how? I haven't reached the 3k mileage yet. He responded in a very condescending way and said, oh really? I'm not trying to top you off, how about I give you an oil change instead? You sure you haven't gone over 3k miles? He asked in a very rude and condescending way. I said check the computer and my miles. By now I'm annoyed . He checks and says oh. Never apologized for being an asshole. Then he finally checks and puts in 2 quarts and walks away and never came back. 2nd time was the same thing and he seems to only single me out and gives me really shitty service. All the other Jiffy lube locations treat me very well they are kind and offer me nothing but great service. They vacuum my car, clean my windows, and use the paper mats and wipe the oily prints off my car before sending me off. This guy does none of the above. Yesterday I noticed my oil light on and this usually means the oil is very low. I go back for the top off and this guy Shon has an attitude when I asked him to check my oil because the light is coming on. He pulls the wrong dip stick out, trying to be funny and shows me the stick has oil on it. He also says ,as a matter of fact it's too full maybe you need to fix your oil pump. Maybe the person who works on your car didn't do it right. I asked him to check it again please and he got annoyed and showed me the transmission fluid stick and says see it's full. I left and went work puzzled about this whole experience. So after I sat and thought about it, I check the oil myself at work. There was not a drop of oil on the stick. Now I am pissed, I go back and asked a different guy to top me off. He checks my oil and does it with no hesitation. Then Shon comes over and says, I checked his oil 3 times and showed him the stick. I correct him and tell him you pulled my transmission stick not the oil and almost costed me an engine. I asked for the managers number and he refused to give it to me, I ask for corporate office number and he refused it. So please stay away from that jerk. He should not be allowed to touch any car. read more

Went to Jiffy Lube in Novemeber to get the oil changed on my BMW. The guy at the front didnt seem very knowledgeable as he changed the price for the oil change about 4 times. Final price $120. He also let me know that his guys didnt know how to reset my oil counter (hello youtube at least) Skip to this month. Noticed an oil leak. Took my car to BMW. They said the last person to change my oil put incorrect Parts which caused the car to spray oil all over the engine for months. My entire engine is coated in layers of oil. The total cost for this repair will be $319. I called Jiffy Lube to let them have a chance to make it right and cover the cost of the repair that they are responsible for and they only offered to repair it themselves to which I replied I no longer had confidence in any of their employees and wanted to get fixed properly at BMW and they refused to pay for it. Now my car is sitting at the shop I have to wait for their insurance company to contact me to potentially pay for it maybe if they decide to. This is absolutely ridiculous and not away any business should be run. It's $319 which they are accountable and responsible for and they should cover it out of their pocket if they have to because it's not 10 grand. WILL NOT EVER GO BACK AND I ADVISE EVERYONE ELSE THE SAME!!! read more

Went today for an oil change and went great in and out in no time great customer service every time.

I would give them ZERO stars if that was possible. Fast and polite while they do oil changes? Yeah, I believe that. Ask them if they actually clean the leftover oil from your car before they pour in a new bottle. I caught them being very careless with pouring the old oil out of my vehicle. The couple of times I got an oil change there, I thought, "Wow, they're so nice and they do oil changes quick!" But a friend had told me they probably rushed and just poured new oil into the old, and make you pay for the full bottle. When I asked them if they drained the old oil out, they told me, "yes," when they clearly did not. If you get lucky, they'll change your oil the proper way. On the same day, I got a state inspection. Why on earth did I get a state inspection there? I do not know. Before they did the inspection, I asked them if they think can check my windows. They said it looks fine. I agreed to do the inspection. They failed me. Everything on the paper they print out says "PASS" or "N/A," but for the windows (no mandatory on paper), they failed me because it was too dark. I still had to pay the full amount. No state inspection sticker. The guy who did the state inspection named TRAVIS BRYANT said, "It's like taking SATs, you pay for the test, but you don't pass." The SATs is not about passing... How ironic, what a horrible comparison. Then he pulled out the state inspection law book and was going to further explain, but I understand. I paid and left without further argument. I went to another place, Terry's Burnet Road Vehicle Inspections, down Burnet, and the inspection took 30 minutes. I passed. The person who did the inspection for me even called me over and had me look at what he was doing. He was VERY honest. He even advised me to call my bank and explain to them what happened at Jiffy Lube. I called my bank, and got my money back. In conclusion, DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE IN PFLUGERVILLE FOR AN OIL CHANGE or STATE INSPECTION. I understand it's business that they have to recommend certain oils, but do not go here. read more

These guys are generally friendly. They are good at explaining things to me. They do always offer additional services but they tell me the price up front and don't hassle me at all if I decline. I did have an incident once where they stripped the bolt on my oil pan and then tried to charge me extra the next time claiming it wasn't them. I still can't believe what just happened to me. I just wanted a synthetic oil change. Once they were about to poor the oil I told them that wasn't the oil I paid for (mine is more expensive so they have it in a different place in a big container). After this happened, once they finish I wanted to check the oil level to make sure it was right. It was so low that didn't even reach the minimum level. I had to go back so they could finish the job. Inside wasn't vacuumed, they didn't clean windows and a few places like the steer wheel or speed lever was oily. I'm still amazed! Please pick a different place or your wallet will suffer with expensive repairs! read more

I couldnt of image all the shit I would have gone through just because I went here for an oil change. They overcharged me and kept trying to up sale me on everything .I kept telling the guy, look I have cash only so I am not interested in anything else. A single oil change was $55. Yup, they charged me extra for crap I didnt ask for. that same night i was with my 1 year old when my car stopped working. Yes, they messed with the battery and I had to call a cab and leave my car behind. Then the next day my A/C went out. So unless you really want to press your luck Dont go to this place My friend later told me that Jiffy Lube is so bad that she used to do Mystery Shopping and they would tell them to make sure to check to see if they even did an oil change. read more

I've gone to this Jiffy Lube location many times in the past. I've always been pleased with their service until today. I had received coupons via email; because I have always gone to this location, I assumed they were for this location. I had an email coupon for a 24.99 oil change. When I approached the sales person with my coupon he informed me that this location is NOT a participating Jiffy Lube, even though the coupon says for "any local Jiffy Lube." In the past, the management has usually offered me some sort of "discount". When asked how I was suppose to know which location was a "participating" location, the guy merely shrugged his shoulders. They also refused to accept a 10 dollar coupon that I had received via email. Being in a hurry, I agreed to spend 44+ change for an oil change (which I could have gotten at Walmart for 25 bucks). I asked what was included in the oil change and the guy had a very hard time telling me what was included. He said, "It's an oil change." I inquired, does it include a new oil filter, etc?? He indicated that it did. When I got my bill, I noted all fluids had been topped off, tire pressure checked, car vacuumed, etc; however, when I got in my car, 1) my "maintenance required" light had not been reset, and 2) my car had NOT been vacuumed, even though the receipt indicated otherwise. I went back in and inquired about the service light. The same guy who refused to honor the coupon came out to my car and reset the service light. Not only did these people refuse to honor the coupon, they misrepresented their performed services on the receipt. I wonder what other "short cuts" they took? I wouldn't be surprised if they failed to actually check my tire pressure or top off my fluids. I will be filing a deceptive practices complaint with the Attorney General's Office and complaining to the Better Business Bureau. Oil service companies have developed very bad reputations in the past. Services such as those I received today only reinforce these "scam artist" reputation. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I have relied on Jiffy Lube services because they are convenient to my schedule. I drive 120 miles round trip daily for work and require convenient, frequent, but reliable service for my car. What a shame that a few lazy employees could ruin the reputation of such an organization. I hope Jiffy Lube corporation looks into this location. ***** 1/9/2016 Update! I took my car here for an oil change on January 5th. I know nothing about cars, I figure they're an oil place, they should know how/what type of oil to put in, right? So they do the oil change, everything's "okay" for a bit. Then my car starts acting up. I took it to 4 different places, all saying "you have the wrong oil in your car, go back to where you got your oil changed" so I did that. The guy at jiffy lube looked up my info and says immediately "oh wow, this is not the right oil" in front of a couple in the waiting area who just looked at eachother in shock! He calls his manager who says I can pay and have a new oil change done. Yeah, I don't think I want y'all to touch my car again. I then take it to another shop who has to do $900 + work to fix jiffy lubes mistake. I take my paperwork to jiffy lube to see what they can help me with since it wasn't my fault to begin with. The boy manager tells me he spoke to his boss Jason and he said to call him but there's nothing they can do about it. I hate writing bad reviews on yelp. I tried to resolve this privately but they aren't going to help me. I hope this helps someone who knows nothing about cars/oil changes to go here. Because they don't know either. read more

This is a terrible place to go. They are known for making up excuses of why they can't do an inspection if you go only wanting that. EVERY time I have gone, they have different excuses. Today it was that it would be two hours before they could do it because inspector was at lunch. Two hour lunch.....really? Other times they say the machine is down. I attempted to get oil change and Inspection on my Saturn . They informed me they didn't have anyone available to do the inspection. So I said just change the oil. his reply. " your better off going down the street and get it both done at a business with green door on Pflugerville parkway". Two other guys were playing with a soccer ball and not a customer at the place. after looking around I decided I really didn't want them under my car and drive to the next Jiffy Lube. When I arrived they were swamped. I told the Manger about my experience at the Wells Branch Location. He had the Manger of that shop call me 3 weeks later.Manager had all kinds of excuse for not taking my business. I was only trying inform him, when he was away the employees were at play . Called on a Monday afternoon to inquire about inspections as my husband had already had a previous experience that was rough. I was told the inspection person was gone for the day but he was scheduled for Tuesday at 8 AM. Great. I'll be there at 8. Show up when I say I will expecting to have my car inspected. Nope. The inspection person isn't scheduled until 9. He did however show up early and they let him clock in to take care of me. Please do not mislead your customers. They will take their business elsewhere. Thank you for standing by your word, sort of. You did get me in before 9 but not at 8 when you told me he would be there. read more

I called back and the person on the phone sounded very sketchy he totally described my sunglasses then when I went up there to claim them he showed me some completely different ones.
