Horrible! I pull up on a late Thursday morning. Was met by Javian after waiting about 5 minutes. He was not wearing anything that said 'jiffy lube' on it, and looked like he just rolled out of bed. He said was there by himself but can't do an oil change until his friend comes back. Against my better judgment, I went back after running errands. Still Javian, but now with a colleague (didn't get his name), who also was not wearing anything that identified him as a Jiffy Lube employee. I said hi I'm back is it ok? Javian answered what do you mean? I said you told me to Come back before when you were alone. He then says that he never did that and that I must be crazy! I asked to speak to the colleague instead and they both came closer to me and reeked of weed and alcohol. A car pulled in behind me, and smelled this as well, as the driver looked at me and held her nose and made her hand into a drinking gesture. The colleague said it's all Good, I can change your oil. I said not thanks I need to go. The car behind me had already left. I hope whoever owns this franchise is aware of how unprofessional and rude Javian is...and that he and the other guy work impaired. Stay far away from this place. They almost blew my engine up and never made it right. Ive had maybe 3 services done from this place. Only come when I need a quick oil change and don't have time to drive it to my normal guy. Came in to get my oil changed on my 2018 Mazda,right before a family trip. When I got about 2 miles away,my oil low light came on. Got home,which is about 5 miles away from this location and let my car cool down for 30 mins before checking it. The oil level didn't even touch the bottom dot on the dip stick. Drained my oil and there was maybe a qt in there. If I had kept driving I would have 100% blown my engine up. Went to advance and did my own oil change,2 hours after I paid for one. They said I would be refunded but after multiple phone calls and bs reasons why it hasn't gone thru yet,I still don't have it. I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube for over 12 years. I sent my Daughter for an oil change to this location and she ended up with a $512.16 bill. They completely took advantage of her by offering her services she did not need. They told her the final total for her oil change was $109. At the end, they charged the card for $512.16 for the additional services (brake fluid check/refill) she did not ask for. When I spoke to the manager and asked for a copy of the services they performed, half of the page they printed was blank. When I said to him that they performed services we did not want, he told me to "get the fuck out my shop" or he will call the cops. Never in my life I have been treated with such of disrespect. Please DO NOT go to Jiffy Lube!! After a recent oil change, 7/11/2019, with in 5 miles my ENGINE CEASED!! They 10000% at fault as they STRIPPED THE DRAIN PLUG and we lost all oil! I had my car towed to me Mechanic and he called Jiffy Lube to tell them this is 100% their fault and they responded "it was fine when she left". True; but was not fine 5 minutes later.!!! I rarely write reviews so please take this seriously! My car needs new engine, cam shaft and goodness knows what else. No only do I now not have a car until repaired, it is a hardship to have to pay a small fortune to fix what Jiffy Lube broke! Disgusting! read more

Overpriced. Sloppy workmanship, didn't reinstall glove box properly after removing to check air cabin filter. Didn't vacuum well, still see sand at the edges around floor mats. Left car on an inclined driveway without using the parking brake and resting the weight of the car on automatic transmission in Park. On the good side, was fast and courteous. read more

I think you're company is so out of touch with the average consumer, to even ask for that exorbitant price makes me.. makes me want to Yelp your store two stars! Ok, So I walk in and the kid at the desk gives me the price. I ask him for other oil service pricing and we agree on the $40 service. Now, Jiffy Lube is supposed to Vaccum your car, clean your windows and make you smile with speedy service. What did I get? None of that. The service was speedy but the entire operation seemed.. Un-organized. There is Goodyear, Pep Boys, some new store across the street from Pep Boys. Jiffy Lube? I personally would like to thank Thomas and Ty for helping out my wife; who, was in distress at the main intersection of 347 and route 112 due to the Toyota Highlander abruptly shutting off due to no brake fluid in the reservoir bottle. Their professionalism and courtesy; they, extended to my wife was amazing. Not only did they safely push the SUV to a nearby gas station a herculean feat onto itself. They leveled off the brake fluid and jumped start the car. They were extremely nice and wouldn't take any monies for their generosity, effort and kindness. I even offered a pizza pie from Colosseo's pizzeria. They just told me to pay it forward instead; which, I will definitely do. We need more people like Thomas and Ty in this world. So they hold a sign up outside that says 10 minute oil changes. Yeah not so much. I was there about 45 minutes all in all and I was 1 of 2 cars there and the first one in the bay. The guys who were there were nice and pretty cool to chat and bs well I waited but when the bill came it was like 60 bucks for my truck for a regular oil change. From now on I will go to my local guy where I can drop off pick up in an hour and pay 30-40. read more

Also, the price was very close to my regular mechanic (nyc taxi mechanic in LIC). Overall, a great experience. Didn't have time to change my oil myself before a long road trip, so checked this place out. SUMMARY: Nothing amazing, but not horrible either. Staff was nice, they were fast (no wait or line when I got there), and the checkout woman suggested I go online for a coupon. I found a coupon for $15 off from living social so that was great! You don't get to stay in your car and monitor things like you do with Valvoline, but there is a window you can watch thru from the waiting room. I paid $85 after the $15 off coupon for an oil change with full synthetic in a SUV. That's not horrible but other places are cheaper. I'd go back in a pinch. read more

They did a decent job changing my oil but be very careful about having them upsell you on all sorts of services and products. They are quite pushy and even a bit sneaky about it so be on guard. Even when I told them I did not want the additional service they were pushing on me, they resisted and I had to get quite firm to get my car out of there. read more

TERRIBLE. Stopped in a few weeks ago for an oil change and my car stalled going into the bay with check engine light. The technician told me that was the result of my battery needing to be replaced. I was hesitant- and even asked if he was sure the battery was the cause of my car stalling. He said yes. Fine. Waited over an hour for them to get the right size battery (which I learned after the fact was not the right size for my car) and off I went. 3 miles exactly before my car stalled and wouldn't start. Called jiffy lube and spoke to the technician. He knew exactly why my car stalled. I was extremely angry that he didn't think it was necessary to tell me in person before I left his shop that a part of mine was failing and would cause me to stall. His response? "I didn't think it wouldn't happen that quickly". I also didn't understand why he insisted my problem was the battery when clearly it was something else. Guess what? Writing a part name on the invoice without also writing that is is failing, AND without discussing with the customer in person, is a really really crappy and unethical way of doing business. Oh and thanks for the suggestion for me to "neutral" myself down 347 in rush hour traffic to get to an auto repair place. I don't know how you are the manager, you are pathetic and an ass. Unfortunately this location is a terrible place to bring your car and to work for as well. This business is a complete scam they will overcharge for services you don't need there main goal is to sell brake fluid flushes and tire rotation. They will charge you for a BFE (brake fluid exchange) and won't even put your car on the lift they lie about doing the service. I've witnessed myself multiple times this happend. I've worked there myself the manager of the store Tom Tracy has told me specifically to sell false services. Services that are unneeded because it benefits the manager and makes them look good when they make you pay extra for services you don't need. This company is very unprofessional I've also witnessed the manager Tom Tracy charge people for full synthetic oil ($100.99) and give them conventional oil ($52.99) which is also two different viscosity of oil. We have had multiple cars comeback with many complaints. Cars have been brought back broken down, we've had to bring cars to repair shops to fix them. Very bad company lack of management. Numerous times where the manager Tom Tracy would be flirting with customers in store which would make both customers and employees very uncomfortable. Guys there seem knowledgeable and all but prices are a lot higher than other places around the area that offer the same services. I was told that I could get a transmission fluid flush for $160 if I waited for them to have the machine set up the next day. I come in the next day and the guy tells me he can't do the flush but can do a drain and fill (exchange) for $107. 3 different local shops I've called to quoted a drain and fill at $60 using the same synthetic fluid. Needless to say that was a waste of 2 hours of my time especially since the reason I went there in the first place was because they told me they could do a flush. read more

The service is great the prices are high though. The work is great quality and staff always super friendly. I was surprised when my exterior windows where cleaned very well and my car was vacumed. The Guy Josh who talked to me informed me that all my tires where low but my rear passenger tire was really low. It did have a nail in it. The coffee was nice touch in the lounge which I have to give a shout out to Josh He made the coffee for me since I have a hard time walking and he even let me sit near the register during the check in and end where I got rung up. Great service by people who care more about their customers then just seeing them as a wallet. Josh and Scott Never pushed me for other services either just a simple offer. My man and I were in town visiting my mom when my oil light came on. We first went to the jiffy lube in smithtown and they didn't have my filter. We called 3 places and no one had it. I called this place and spoke to Paul and he said he would get one from a place around them and do the oil change. No one else offered this! I decided to go with the Synthetic oil because I commute to Queens for work and I don't have to get an oil change every 3 months/3000 miles like with the regular oil. I've gone to jiffy lube before, but never this location. My other experiences were sub-par but this was great! They got me in right away, good customer service, quick oil change, and I was on my way! They also went above and beyond when it came to the simple oil change. They filled all my fluids, my tires, and even vacuumed my floors. I know they usually do this, but the other location I went to never did! & on top of it I'm a messy college student and they took the time to pick up all the books off my floor and put them on the seat so they could vacuum thoroughly. Have always had good experiences here. Recently met the new manager Jay who was very helpful, truthful, and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge of cars. He informed me this location had problems in the past he was brought in to fix up, if that is true it is a great testament to this company that I never noticed before. Julian restored my faith and I'll be back. Today I decided to get my oil change. I debated on where to go but was short on time. This Jeffy Lube is very close to my home and is very convienient. Except for one thing, just about everytime I've gone into this store in the past I've had a problem. I could go into details but I won"t. It's in the past and that's where it should stay. In any case, I resigned myself to the fact that this was the price I had to pay for not having more time. Well I'm happy to report that I couldn't have been more wrong. Julian greeted me with professsionalism and listened to what I wanted and didn"t argue with me about my wishes(some of the old problems bleeding through, sorry). He couldn't have been more helpful and when I told him about some of my past experiences he said, "thats why those people no longer work here". He also said that I shoudn't have any more issues like the ones I had in the past. Being a skeptical person by nature, it's difficult for me to trust people but having had truely exceptional service today, I believe Julian on his word and trust he will help turn this store around!!!!
