If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in on 10/08/2018 for an oil change and wiper blades. I wound up also getting an AC filter as well. I waited over an hour. I looked and about 4 or so people were just standing around my car socializing. I finally am able to leave. I leave the lot and my oil light is on, and I thought it would turn off once I got going. About a mile down the road I called Jiffy Lube because it didn't cut off. They said they must've forgot to reset it and to come back. I specifically asked if my car was fine and they said yes. As I was about to turn around, my car manually cuts off in the turn lane of a busy intersection. I have to call a tow, and I called the store and notified them and said I'm not paying if it was caused by them. A man and the tow truck driver help and also check my oil. There was absolutely no oil in my car. I called Jiffy Lube and told them and took video documentation when I get to the store. I go to the store, and the women there were very nice and trying to help. I filed a claim. And I eventually was able to speak to Sam, district manager over this area. He said if I had any issues to not hesitate to call. I specifically made it clear that I would not be paying for any future damages caused by this since no oil can mess up your engine because there's no lubricant. He agreed and was helpful in solving the issue. However, I got no explanation as to how this place let me leave without oil, no one noticing, etc. when that was the primary reason for my visit. Timothy was the one on my receipt saying that he provided the service. Later that night, after driving less than 10 miles, I notice a constant clicking noise in my engine that seemed to be progressively getting worse. I called Jiffy Lube, and I spoke to Dominique. He was apologetic; however, he kept saying that customer service would contact me tomorrow or Wednesday. (I have an interview an hour and a half away in Winston Salem on Wednesday, 10/10/2018, and need a rental or my car fixed by then). So basically that was no help at all. So now here I sit at the Honda dealership on 10/09/2018. A part in my engine is messed up due to their negligence. The worker here has contacted the Jiffy Lube on Western and notified them of the issue and is waiting to hear from corporate. This should have been a simple oil change that resulted in extreme inconvenience and emotional distress for me. I would never recommend them to anyone. The only part that was nice is that they gave me a full refund, paid for the tow, and the workers I spoke to were extremely apologetic and realized they messed up. read more

I came to get my oil changed and because my low tire sensor keeps going off saying that I have a low tire. When I pull up I tell them I need an oil change and that I think I have a nail in my tire and I even point out which tire. The guy says okay and I hear him tell someone oil change and he mentions the tire. When they are done I get in my car and I didn't even get halfway home before my low tire signal is back on. I told them the problem and the tire and they didn't even bother to check. Fast forward to later in the day I'm driving to go get something and my car is making an awful loud sound. I pull over and they didn't close the compartment where my air filter is. I won't be coming back here and I'll be sure to let my friends know that it's not worth the trouble. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET THINGS STOLEN FROM YOUR CAR. I went in for an oil change and had a pair of Raybans in my cup holder (i know I should have been smarter and not left anything of value in the car). When they were done I left the establishment and went to put on my sunglasses and they were not in the cup holder. I pulled over to see if they were anywhere on the ground or on the seats and they were no where to be found. I drove back to the Jiffy Lube and 4 people checked me car and the sunglasses were ~no where to be found~. The manager said he had all of their employees empty their pockets and no one had them. I then called the police to do a report since the manager was not being helpful and basically said I was out of luck. Safe to say someone got away with some very nice sunglasses and I would NOT recommend EVER coming to this establishment unless you want something of yours to be stolen. read more

For me this location of Jiffy Lube works quite well. These guys are fast, friendly, and unlike most Jiffy Lubes they don't try to up charge for anything. I've been coming here frequently since they have been offering the special on Groupon. I get a tire rotation, window treatment, and a oil change in 30 minutes. Good service! read more

I came to this jiffy lube for a signature oil change and $30 state inspection simply because I was mailed a coupon. I don't generally come to any Jiffy Lubes because I have only had horrific experiences at them. I dropped my car off in the queue, and was not asked what type of oil change I wanted. I was told there would be a 45 minute wait since it was pretty crowded, so I left my keys and walked across the street to do groceries. When I came back, my car was finished about 10 minutes later, and the lady rang me up for $100!!! I was wondering why it cost so much and she said the oil change was $73. I have never had an oil change this expensive, and came Jiffy Lube in the first place because their basic oil changes are the cheapest in the area. She said they did the High Mileage Premium one because when they came out and called my name, I wasn't in the waiting room. Why couldn't they ask at the beginning??? I am allowed to run errands if I am told there will be a 45 minute wait. The manager told me he could give me a $10 discount, but that was still way more expensive than I would have paid for a basic oil change there or anywhere else, so he just ended up comp-ing the entire oil change. I am glad I spoke up, and that they were honest enough to recognize their mistake and take responsibility. However they emphasized that "in my records it said the last time I got the high mileage oil change" (which I doubt) and "next time just stay in the waiting room." I think that is unreasonable, especially since it was a busy day and their waiting room was packed, and 45 min is a long time. I probably will never return to a Jiffy Lube again. They seem to have a trend of taking advantage of customers (particularly women) and other shady practices (like having a "record" of me getting a "premium" oil change...come on, I am a broke grad student who drives a 17 year old car that is hanging on for its dear life.) read more

Wanted a standard oil change. Nothing was wrong with my car, guy behind the counter tried to make it sound like I needed a new air filter (which I didn't) and that I had to have the 80 dollar oil change compared to the standard 45, because of my manufacturer.. not the fact that they wanted to make more money oh no def not that , and he acted like he had to go console with his boss about my refusal.. finally just got the basic oil change I asked for and ended up waiting about 40 min which is also bullshit, usually in and out at a fastway or valvoline and even if they try to up sale you a bit, they cut it out when you refuse just once.. this place is a waste of space. I came here for an oil change and inspection on a Friday afternoon. The experience was more pleasant than I expected. The technicians are very courteous and there is even a nice room with coffee, magazine, and tv for the waiting customers. At first,. I thought they did a decent enough job with my car. Quick, and they didn't try to upsell me too much. The customer service person I dealt with at the store was nice and helpful. But then I called the shop shortly after leaving because I thought something in my glove box had been misplaced during the oil change, and the guy on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. Then, I looked under my hood and saw that when they took out my air filter (which I didn't ask them to do -- they do it to try to get you to pay them to change it), I saw that they hadn't put my filter back in correctly. They also told me they gave me washer fluid and they definitely didn't. I looked at my cabin air filter and it hadn't been put back in correctly either. I won't be returning to Jiffy Lube. read more

I never feel like I am being forced to purchase anything I do not need for my car. I never have to wait more than 30 minutes for anything. Had an amazing experience! I went to a sister location and left without my inspection being completed due to their inability to find my OBD port. Upon arriving onsite, the staff was significantly more friendly and seemed to have more experience in customer service. They apologized for their other location not being able to complete my inspection and I was in and out within 20 minutes. They even walked me out to my car and opened the door for me. They definitely turned around my feelings about Jiffy Lube after my first experience and I will happily suggest friends to their Western Blvd location. read more

My car was running fine prior to visiting Jiffy Lube, I just needed it to pass the NC safety vehicle inspection. I don't know what extra things they were doing but my car started smoking all of a sudden. The guy told me the outer part of some wires got burnt because I had no coolant and that I had a crack in my radiator. The girl working seemed upset and told me to clean my headlights and left. Prior to coming, I had just gone to Firestone to get tires and they checked and told us my car was fine; the computer was just messed up and there was no crack in the radiator during that visit so understand my frustration hearing this not even two weeks later. Now I can't drive my car without it smoking and I'm not sure what the mechanics have done but I'll never go back. I'm upset! read more

Used a groupon for an oil change at this location. The Groupon specified "regular oil" but the technician said they could only put "full synthetic" in my vehicle since it was recommended by the manufacturer. I agreed that Synthetic was recommended but assured her that I had used regular in prior oil changes and I didn't want to pay extra for Synthetic on this oil change. (The manufacturer also says "regular" is fine to use as long as Synthetic is used on the next oil change). After waiting an hour an a half the technician said she would honor the Groupon, but proceeded to put Synthetic oil in the vehicle anyway, then charged my Credit card an additional $34.00 without my approval. I'm seeing several other customer reviews that show a pattern of shady business practices at this location. Another lost customer.!!! read more

I had brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation. After leaving I felt my car was not running as smoothly like before I brought it to them. Came back a few days later for them to just check my front tire because it felt very bumpy while I drove. The first person I talked to was reluctant to even check my tires out. After finally getting them to re check my tires they pull me aside to let me know they cant get my front tire off........ After telling them I just brought the car in a few days ago and you did a tire rotation then... how is it possible you can not get the tire off now? I had the whole shop trying to get my tire off. They were very disrespectful and kept trying to put the blame on me. I kept telling them I don't see how this is possible when I was just here a few days ago...... After bringing my boyfriend down to talk to them since they made me feel so uncomfortable, one of the guys informed my boyfriend he was not even certain that they did the tire rotation last time. He even said he doesn't know because it doesn't make sense to him that just a few days ago they got the tire off.... They totally flipped their tune as soon as he came down and even gave him a hand shake at the end and complete walked past me.That is highly disrespectful. They told us the only thing to do now is bring it to a tire shop. So I went to fire Stone. I had to call customer service over this and they are no help at all. They kept telling me that it was " supposedly " they didn't do the tire rotation. So either they lied to me about not doing my tire rotation or they are not taking responsibly for what they did to my tire. I will never be returning to any jiffy lube again. After taking my car to fire stone and having them put the tire on correctly my car felt normal again. Fire stone is where I will be taking all my future business too. read more

I dropped my car off after asking for the most basic oil change and when I returned to an over $50 bill I was shocked. I didn't have a high mileage or synthetic oil it was just expensive. They vacuumed my floors but threw my belongings on the front passenger seat leaving a nice sized stain from a coffee mug. I left feeling disappointed and jipped of my hard earned money just to get 5 miles down the road and see my maintenance engine light turn on. It's hard to find a trustworthy business to take your car to and this experience has proved that to me once again. read more

I had an issue with my car, and this Jiffy Lube was the closest location where I could get some help. Their customer service was phenomenal. They immediately assisted me when I arrived, gave me as much info as they could, and then advised me to have my car towed to a full-service shop. They helped me get my three children and their car seats inside to the lobby and even offered to sit with my kids while I retrieved remaining items from the car as we waited for our tow truck and Uber driver. They gave my kids coloring pages, crayons, and boards to help entertain them as we waited. When the Uber arrived, one employee came out to make sure that we had everything with us and that we were safe to go with the driver. We spent almost two hours taking up space in their lobby, and we never gave them a penny. My car was beyond repairs that they could do at this location, but the employees here made me and my children feel comfortable and safe, and they treated us like they truly cared about us and wanted the best for us. I appreciate each and every one of them so very much; they helped make a sucky car situation seem totally manageable, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they did to help me and my kids. read more

Needed an oil change and a last minute vehicle inspection. It was a little crowded but I was told I would be out in less than 30 minutes.. and I was! This Jiffy Lube was able to take care of both services at an extremely fast pace. I had a Groupon deal for a signature oil change that included checking brakes and replacing/topping fluids. This location does not provide brake service, but they recommended a location near Crabtree Mall that does. The attendant at the front desk was very friendly and provided me with some services that I may want to consider in the near future. It's a good thing thanks to my Dad and my own research, that I know a few things about automobiles and maintenance, so I didn't feel like I was being duped. I would highly recommend them for oil changes and vehicle inspections. They have free wifi also! read more

I brought my car in for an oil change they suggested I should change my air filter and showed me a dirty filter I told them I didn't think it was my filter (I had just put in a brand new K&N air filter) and he told me it was my filter I politely said no thanks and added I dont want them to clean my car out either then I saw one of the employees inside my car "cleaning" then when it was time to check out the employee asked "how long have you been on tha force" in a strange way and changed the normal price raising it to $46.85 at that point I was so frustrated with the situation I decided it was best to just leave without a argument. But I will not be going back. In my opinion the western blvd jiffylube employees are dishonest and dumb. read more

IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER MAKING THIS STOP. I was kindly old upon arrival it would be 30 min for a standard oil change and inspection...2 hours later and I am still sitting here. First go through the shop they parked my car in the wrong bay in order to perform the inspection...so instead of moving it and proceeding with the inspection they said I would have to get placed in the back of the line...this of course happening after 5 other people had arrived. Terrible coordination throughout the entire process. In all the wonderful time I've spent here waiting, I watched employees tell other clueless customers the same run around about there car being low on coolant to get an extra $5 out of them. They even wanted to throw out my permanent K&N air filter that says 'do not remove, permanent' on the filter! If you want a mechanic that may at least have a clue of the difference between a nut and bolt THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE. I suggest going 1 mile down the road to Mission Valley 66 where I've had great service for years. read more

I recently had an oil change with a groupon at this jiffy lube. The lady at the front desk was so rude and horrible. The men that serviced my vehicle were so nice and helpful, but the lady at the desk's service was so mean and did not help me and made me feel like a burden. Any questions asked got smart remarks and she would talk down to me like I was incompetent. She even rudely told me there were extra charges that came along with my groupon. Car service was great, but I do not want to go back because of her. I will rather come back when another person is working. read more

Stay away charged me 400$ and 3 hours oil change test and recharge my AC next day the AC stopped working called back to recheck it they said we are not responsible for the after you left the store, I went to firestone they find out they had oil much less than it should be in the car, they had wrong freon that coz a damage to the AC system, I've always used jiffy service but the location is operated by A ss ho les and dumb ppl read more

I use to be a faithful customer with jiffy lube,,my last oil change that came from store #187. They just layed my oil cap upside down , screw side up,,after noticing my oil lite coming on & going off & lite smoke from my hood , I figured in the morning I'll stop by a service station & check it out ! To find my engine coverd in oil, I wipe wat I cud trying not to get burn. Less than a quart on the dip stick. Call them soon as they open up ! Spoke with the manger, , I'm told they would correct the problem & clean my under hood & engine / never telling me it had to be brought on a weekday to get clean up,, I work in the county of Durham 8-5m-f ,,to sum it up after caring my car back to jiffy lube & explaining what had happen & I had spoke to a manger earlier, so as usual, their good & fast . ,, I went home , cook for a while & needed to go to the store. Before I can park , all my dash lights are going crazy, my battery light glowing red,, my car cut off real quick, the alternator is not charging the battery, it got oil all over it as well as everything else, So how dare you try tell me oil can't mess it up if it gets in it ! Now you don't wanna replace my alternator due to your screw up ? You figure oil spray everything but the alternator SMH,, But this has cost me time from work, new alternator from Firestone & rental car for work till service is done on mines,, I call this store #187 & followed up with you from the weekend , my house is less than 3 miles from this store, I'm then told he would go & see it an let me know if they wud do anything for me, I call this guy 4 thymes wit 2 hrs gap , & got excuse after excuse, I had to leave my job early ,come to your store to find out nothing,, AM I NOT THE CUSTOMER ? Jiffy Lube tried to murder me today. Do I have your attention now? Good because this is important. During checkout after my oil change, the cashier said that all my tires had been filled to the recommended 35 psi. OK, fine. However when I left, I checked the tire monitor in my car and 2 of the tires had been filled TO FIFTY PSI. This is far beyond the maximum that the tires are rated for. If I hadn't checked the monitor, I could have had a fatal blowout on the road. I took the car right back to Jiffy Lube, told them what they had done, and the staff appeared to be baffled about what to do. I ended up having to stand out in the rain, using my own tire gauge to ensure that the right amount of air was let out of the 2 tires. An employee said, "Huh. Maybe our gauge is messed up." I tried to tell him that overfilling to that extend is extremely dangerous and that if other people don't think to check their pressures for themselves, they now have ticking time bombs all over Raleigh. He seemed unfazed. Please don't go to this Jiffy Lube. Tell your friends. read more
