I heard a clapping noise when I drove on the freeway after having a standard oil change here. I called this location and learned my technician had not put the splash guard (plastic cover below the engine) back in place properly. A nearby dealership reattached the guard but warned that replacing it would have been costly if I had continued driving and broken the guard. I called this Jiffy Lube again and was offered a discount for future services. Thanks but no thanks, I won't be returning. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube because I was told it was the best option for something quick and affordable ("just be careful to avoid being talked into something you don't need"). So on a weekend afternoon, I took my car down to get a quick oil change. When all was said and done, they charged me $85 for a basic oil change--and upgraded me to some oil that my car didn't even need. I didn't have to get talked into anything because they just went ahead and did it. Understood from now on--from my father, who took a glance at the statement and slapped his hand to his forehead when I showed him--AN OIL CHANGE SHOULD COST $39.99. The staff was helpful and courteous, they were done in maybe 15 minutes on a busy Saturday, and he made sure I knew I could get fluids topped and such before my next oil change. I have been taking my car to Jiffy Lube for some time now but the location I went to before treated me rather badly and that location has had some lousy reviews recently. I was greeted by George who took care of my oil change and recommended some additional services needed. He advised that the last person who replaced my air filter (that "other" Jiffy Lube") had forgotten to put back the clips that hold the filter! I was so angry! It was totally worth it drive a little farther and get the type of care and service I got at this location with George. I went in to the location in Reseda 45 minutes before they closed for the night. They were efficient, polite and worked with such diligence that I was blown away. The guy at the front desk helped and David (I believe that is his name) fixed my tire quickly and for such a low cost. It was the best experience I had regarding my car, and I have had many because it has almost 100,000 miles on it, in a very long time. Thank you all so much! My car battery died in the left-hand turn lane outside this Jiffy Lube, and the employees literally ran outside to help push my car into a safe place across the street. Then they brought a new battery across the street to me and changed it out right there. I've never had such good customer service from a mechanic. STAY AWAY!!! My fiancé needed an emergency oil change and I wanted to pay for it, but I was not anywhere near her. So I called this shop and asked if I can pay over the phone while she was on the way over there. They said yes and gave me an OUT THE DOOR PRICE of $54.95. After they finished I get a call from my fiancé that the price went up to $65 for no reason. Gilbert which is the guy that told me this price denied the whole phone call. I paid the price cause I wasn't there to fight this, so here I am warning all to change your own oil or go to a friends or family members shop if they have one and do it there. If not then go to the jiffy lube on reseda and Devonshire, better class employees than that trashy place... P.S. if I can give a negative star or no star as a rating, I would... Good Luck read more

I had great service before so went again for tire change. I was quoted a price on phone before I went. When I got there, they pushed for me to get pricier tires more than once. I insisted on the tires and price quoted by phone. The workers were new and in process of learning so it took a bit long. When I drove off, car felt funny and the slip light warning was on. I went right back, and a worker said, oh the light is gone. Drove away again and same problem so went back again. Turned out they had mistakenly put one tire smaller than other. They had also not balanced it as they stated they would and charged for. Problem fixed after I asked for professional and not trainees. I am a little disappointed because they charged extra for the warranty which another tire company would not have charged for and included in price . I know it's part of the job to sell more expensive stuff , but I was not comfortable with that. They had also tried to get me to change all four tires, when only two were bad. They were very nice, tires fixed, but with some difficulty and price not expected. read more

Came here since my oil change was way past due and I knew that I wasn't going to make it any longer without getting my oil changed. I was a little scared about taking it to jiffy lube just because I've had bad experiences with other oil change franchises before because they tend to either not know how to open the hood of my Mini Cooper or try to over charge because of it being a Mini Cooper, so instead I've opted for places that specialize in them. But since it was a last minute decision to finally get my oil change done, my usual place was booked for the entire week and I needed an oil change at that moment. Luckily, I came into to jiffy lube and they took my car in, the entire staff was kind, they opened my hood without a problem and the price wasn't super expensive like at other oil change franchises. I have to say i enjoy taking all my cars to this Jiffy Lube location. I have been taking my cars here for years. They are extremly helpful . I ve gone in for the smallest things like topping off fluids and they are always happy to assist me. Theyve advised of what mey cars have needed other than what i had initially gone in for just so that i am aware. I have never had to wait more than 40 minutes for a visit and they are generous enough to make sure they dont leave any grease stains on my car. Thank you Jiffy i am one happy customer :) read more

Brought my Lexus 2008 ISF in because I live down the street. I already knew what I needed and wanted for my vehicle and Uriel was able to do just that. What we pay for is time and these guys handled my baby quick and gentle. Despite all the negative reviews on here people need to be informed on how a car works and what kind of oil you really need. You can save more money if you do your oil changes yourself but who wants to get dirty and sweaty under their car. Jiffy Lube Reseda is the best place to get your oil changed in the SFV. When I went there during my lunch break they where able to take care of me and my truck quickly. They have a nice waiting room with comfortable cars and free coffee. Jiffy Lube Reseda is the only place I go to in the SFV to get my oil changed. Ask for Louie and tell him you are a Raider fan and he will take care of you. read more
