Professional and Respectable I have been coming here for several years with my Honda C-RV and the service has always been exceptional. I went there this morning, I like to get there in the mornings because it's not usually busy at that time. I pull up my car and right away I am approached by Uriel, the man who has been servicing my car for years. He's very polite and professional and asked what he could help me with today. I told him just the usual oil change, he opens my car door for me and then shows me to the waiting room. The waiting room SMELLS GOOD! I LOVE THAT! There is also coffee I LOVE THAT EVEN MORE. haha but seriously... I was probably waiting for 10 minutes, then Uriel comes in and pulls me to the automotive repair area where my car is being worked on... This is done every time I come here and this is why I truly love coming here. Uriel always shows me the new oil level, and then goes down the list of things that are routinely checked during a oil change service. I like when they do this because they show you all things weather it's GOOD or BAD. For example, the Air Filter was checked today (as it always is) and he physically pulled it out to show me and told me it looks good. Just the best service, really. When they recommend something, they're never pushy. They just make a note on the receipt of what they have recommended and that's that. SO professional. I have been a regular customer at this Jiffy Lube for several years without issue, and I even recommended it to a friend. Unfortunately, my friend had a very negative experience. They were treated rudely when questioning unnecessary upsells. For example, the staff suggested replacing an air filter that was only slightly dusty, and when asked if it could simply be cleaned, they replied it would be "air pollution," despite oil and other fluids also contributing to pollution. Additionally, they insisted the battery needed charging, even though it was relatively new and under warranty, responding, "Good, because we don't do that here." The staff's tone throughout was rude, particularly when my friend challenged what they felt were unnecessary charges. This experience has completely undermined my previous recommendation. Bad customer service is inexcusable, and I will not be returning. I also feel obligated to caution others about this location. read more

From the time you're greeted until you drive away you'll know that Barnie and his team worked seamlessly to get you back on the street quickly all the while providing quality maintenance for your vehicle. The facility is very clean, both the service bays and the customer waiting room. And to top off this great maintenance experience you'll find frequent promotional coupons/deals. If you've ever listened to Jiffy Lube teams working in the service bays you'll know they check, the computed database for the right part number or quantity then they'll double check with each other that they haven't made a mistake. I would recommend everyone to come to this one because there manger is an amazing guy, he helps us with anything I need. They are welling to answer any questions we have. My Jeep Wrangler's low tire pressure light went on, but the tires looked fine. I wasn't sure if they actually needed air or if it was just the sensor. I stopped at Jiffy Lube and Barnie checked and added air to my tires in less than ten minutes! I was really impressed with his professionalism, efficiency and great personality. I Like how fast they get tune done. Plus the extra service by cleaning the inside.I just really hate the fact that everytime i go they try to scam me that my car needs this and my car needs that. THe way they bring it up it makes you feel your not taking care of your car and need to do it right now. I would rather have a report they are looking at to make me more comfortable and analyze and agree that my car needs additional work.Because now days we all know we cant trust mechanics. Had the BEST experience over here at the Reseda JL. Had PATHETHIC experience at Van Nuys JL earlier that morning when the Manager at Van Nuys JL refused to accept my coupon. Armando (here at Reseda) was a true PROFESSIONAL and so was his entire staff. When I pulled up, they all greeted me and were extremely courteous and thorough. Even though they estimated it would take 45-60 minutes for oil change & tire rotation, they finished up in 25 minutes. I have a little oil pan gasket leak and Gullermo went out of his way to let me know the leak is minor and gave me a very good price on replacing the oil pan gasket which I will be getting fixed at this shop. They also give free oil top offs and went out of their way for me at this location. He also explained to me some car engines burn oil faster and with my excessive driving for me to check my oil levels every two weeks and they will do top off for free. So I will be coming to this Jiffy Lube location from now on. read more

Ususally go to the Jiffy Lube in Northridge ,but my normal mgr left the company so I had to find a different place to get my oil change. Came back to Reseda and as luck would have it Uriel who use to be a tech there is now the Mgr. Uriel is a great person and a straight shooter.Will not try push any services on you that you do not need,but will warn you on items that will need services soon.
