Such a great place! Got in and out in 20 minutes (5pm on a Tuesday). The guys were easy-going and kind. I walked in to the waiting area (the guy held the door open for me) to the sound of coffee brewing. BEST SOUND EVER. There was one other customer waiting, who said he'd been waiting for maybe 20 minutes. He was out within 5 minutes of me being there. The coffee ended up tasting terrible. I went to this location for a simple Inspection for Tag renewal. Imagine, if you can my horror when my truck was failed only after declining their estimate to replace my wipers and treat my foggy headlights for $129.00 dollars. Then, when I asked for the printed estimate he had in hand he refused to give it to me and wrote the estimate prices on the back of the decline notice. This place tries hard to earn bad reviews. I'm a repeat customer. I went this morning for a oil change. Second in line behind truck they were working on. Greeter told me 10-15 minutes per car. Both cars in front of me took 45 minutes each. Employees were oblivious to their customers, almost passive aggressive. Watched them work. Marginally competent. Not workmanlike. Seemed mainly focused on their social interaction. 2 bays. 6 employees. 1 car every 45 minutes in my lane. Judging by the reviews I read while waiting and watching these folks work, Mr. Owner you have a serious problem. read more

My issue is not yet resolved. Thus so far, I took my car in on 9/1 for an AC recharged, an oil change, and a state inspection. I was lied to about who was working on my car. I was told a mechanic was going to do my AC recharge. It was, instead, a crossover tech who broke a bolt on my condensor. They replaced my condensor, but the unit wouldn't hold a charge. They told me a needed a new condenser. When I went to pick it up, the condenser seized. The regional manager said that they have done all they can do and the rest is up to me. Now I have a vehicle that has no working AC in September in San Antonio with an 8 month old and an hour commute. Bad form, jiffy lube. read more

If I could put zero stars, I would. This place is dishonest and has poor customer service. I went in for an oil change, and they told me I needed to change the spark plugs. My wife had just changed the spark plugs at the last oil change, so they should have recognized that they were brand new. Unfortunately, I was not aware that she had changed them at the last oil change, so I approved it. When my wife called to talk to the Manager, Justin, he was condescending and would not allow us to see or take the original spark plugs he approved to be replaced (because I'm sure it would prove that they were brand new). I want to Jiffy Lube for a simple old change and was charged $700. I return back to to for lube on San Pedro the call's though all scent was still coming through the vents and Jiffy Lube said they repaired it. A month later I still had the problem with the smell and oil leaks. The manager would not we do the job on refuse to reimburse me for the services that were not done. Took it to another repair service shop and was in form none of the jobs listed on the receipt had been completed . They have been notified by my attorney and legal actions have been taken to be reimbursed for the money the has been taken from my pocket. The people working here are super sleezy and lie to you about your break pads being worn and try to con you into getting stuff done you don't need done. I went for an oil change and a guy there told me my break pads were worn down. I knew this was a lie because I just bought the car a few months ago. I've used this Jiffy Lube for about 4 years and the quality seems to have deteriorated over time. Most recently went for a safety inspection and pretty much was ignored. It wasn't busy at all with only one vehicle being serviced and 2 or 3 technicians plus the manager there. In fact one tech was standing in the bay playing with his phone. I checked in with the manager on arrival and waited in their office for about 15minutes. I gave them another 5 minutes then walked to the manager and asked about my inspection. It was apparent he'd forgotten about me and made up some excuse about their tech being in a 'back' office and they'd be right out. He then turned his back on me and left me standing there. I guess they didn't want my busy so I drove off, for good now. I found a Valvoline center close to my house and though it was busy, the manager came right out and helped me. I was done less than 15 minutes after arriving. They also have military discounts on oil changes so they're going to be my new Go-To now for my three cars. I recently had oil change with inspection sticker renewal. Two and one half weeks later our truck started on leak oil. Called Jiffy Lube and manager came to our home checked vehicle took back to shop and repaired cracked reservoir. Vehicle was returned at no additional charge and drive way was scheduled to be cleaned of oil spots. I am truly impressed with level of service that was provided. Would recommend highly. read more

DON'T go here. I went in for an inspection and they did not pass me because my windows were slightly too dark (so they said). I have had my car with the same tint on the windows for SIX years, and have passed inspection every time. WAIT it gets worse. All the employee communicated to me was that his manager said they were too dark and that he probably thinks so because he used to be a cop and is "extra strict" but he said, and I quote, "they don't look that dark to me" YET I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR THE INSPECTION and didn't get a new sticker. I asked to speak to this cool guy ex cop manager and he was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional and quite frankly sounded very uneducated. Needless to say I went over to Valvoline because they are hands down the best. One- they don't charge you for an inspection unless you pass and can get your new sticker. Two- they explained to me that there is a new window tint rule (couldn't jiffy lube have explained this to me so i wasn't so confused?? Or offered a solution instead of just taking my money and shooing me out the door??). Three- they offered to take my current tint off for free. Four- they are extremely friendly and professional. So, my recommendation is to go to Valvoline on 5401 Broadway. Have a good day. read more

Well, I will not be returning to Jiffy Lube again. The first time I went there they did a much better job than when I was there yesterday. I've never paid $80 for an oil change and air filter before! That was ridiculous! My receipt says they vacuumed the interior. ( They only vacuumed the driver's side removable mat, they didn't even vacuum under the mat!) They "put air in my tires" but when I left, the low tire light came on. I'm very disappointed. Auto places need to seriously stop taking advantage of women! It's disgusting!!! read more

Made sure they knew what work I needed, kept me informed if my requested level of supplies couldn't be fulfilled (it was my first time having my car serviced), and cleaned up my car and didn't forget to reset the maintenance lights (which so many places do). They did a good job but I don't see why this location is rated higher than others. Just a typical oil change, nothing special. Wait time was around 10-15 minutes and they had coffee which is always a plus. read more

Stopped in for an oil change. The service was fast and all the employees were friendly. The bathroom was cleaner than I was expecting.

Shop opened up right @ 730am the men working there are very helpful. Make sure to get there early because the line started to. Get busy I was second In line. I came for just a oil change, but as always they try to up sale you with telling you about a tire rotation & a new air filter . I fell for it but I rather be safe then sorry. 88 dollars later . I had a coupon & a gentlemen name Robert helped me & applied my coupon. So it came out to 78 dollars not bad. This place has immature people working and very untrained for the job. Not to mention poor customer service to no service leaving oil cap off spraying oil over the engine............... Not sure they understand what they or doing by not putting the oil cap back on the car and what else they forgot to do that I paid for..............Had to take it to the dealer to get the oil cleaned off the motor costing more money. Please do not risk your car to these people. I rarely write these things but if I had read more about this place maybe I wouldn't be spending more money today cleaning up their mess. Hands down !!!!!!!!! The absolute WORST customer assistance I've ever had at any sort of establishment ever. Whoever the manager on duty was, did not make any attempt at greeting nor checking on me after 20 minutes of standing and staring right at all of them. I was told "just go wait inside" by a gentleman at bay1 bay2 was where I parked and not a soul wanted to help me with a thing not even to look at me and acknowledge me. After 25 min of waiting another gentleman Drives in and within 5 minutes they start to work on his car. At that point I kind of gestured what's going on. The guy said to me, "is this your car?" ......... R u kidding me bud? I've been waiting30 min you ignore me skip me then pretend like you care at all? No thanks I waited another ten minutes to see if ANYONE would say a word to me but to no avail. I sat on my hood for another five just incase they wanted to fix the damage. I have been to other Jiffy lubes had ok or decent service but never ever ever anywhere close to this bad. People walking past me back and forth and not so much as a good morning. jiffy lube totaled my car. they left off the coolant reservoir cap and melted my engine. even after two certified mechanics diagnosed it and I submitted paperwork they refused to notify their insurance. dont go here. they are crooks read more
