Did not feel comfortable there; too much playing around. Couldn't answer questions or attempt to when asked about a warning light.

Five-star service when it comes to the Texas Annual inspection. While I haven't been here yet for oil changes, they've been top-notch when it comes to getting me in and out for the inspections. No appointment needed, just go mid-day (or whenever it's less crowded) and pull up. You'll be out in 10 minutes, tops. Kudos for the great service guys! read more

I've been going here for a few years and overall service has been good. I understand mistakes happen but when they keep happening that's concerning and customers should beware. more than once, they have not tightened the oil cap when changing it. this causes oil To leak and potentially can burn up the engine. Beware! I will not be returning. They also have a terrible phone service in which you can't get anyone on the phone to discuss concerns. read more

I took my vehicle here and almost made my engine lock up, I have a Genesis G70 they didn't even know how to work on my vehicle they are entry level mechanics don't ever go to this place they will mess up your car they changed my coolant 3 times and I had to come back and forth 3 times because they couldn't do there job right while my engine was overheating, they had to get it towed to my dealer the manager didn't know anything she gave me the wrong claim number to the case and didn't want to give out any information on the situation, never go to this place if you have a newer car they will mess it up never going here again! read more

My husband took our 2016 Jeep Cherokee to the Take 5 on Marbach Rd today (27th Dec) & had a complete oil change, & radiator flush, but after leaving Take 5 my husband starting doing his Lyft drives & noticed the oil light flashing that the car was losing oil. Well he went right back to Take 5 to let them know the oil is leaking out. They told my husband that there was nothing they could do & to call the corporate number. After just spending $138 they said it was nothing they could! We're going to call corporate (oh & he got names), but we will no longer get our business! read more

I have used Take 5 for years now. I highly recommend them. My family also uses them. I have always had a pleasant experience with the techs and this location in particular was especially good. My tech did not try to overcharge me and wasn't pushy, which meant a lot to me as a woman and someone less knowledgeable about cars. He did point out my dirty engine filter and offered to change it, but again, wasn't pushy. He was honest about me not needing an additional service I inquired about because I wasn't due for it. Like a true adult, I waited until two days before my registration expired to get my car inspected. I called in advance and was advised that the wait was minimal. I ran over and was in and out within 15 minutes. I didn't even have to exit my vehicle. I was so excited by this process that I returned a few weeks later for an oil change. Again the process was painless and I never had to get out of my car. This place seems to get really busy and I did call in advance for the oil change, but never got in touch with anyone. If I could give this location zero stars I would. My daughter took her car in for an oil change in November. The technician stated that she needed an oil gasket. He set up a time with her to repalce the oil gasket and he did it wrong. This was accompanied with the engine catching on fire while she was driving it along with the oil pan cracking and getting oil all over the engine and all components under the hood. Instead of getting rid of the technician and Take 5 trying to help us with the $6000 repair, they promoted the technician and refuse to compensate us for anything. Do NOT take your vehicle to this location!!!! They are TERRIBLE! I was a faithful Take 5 customer but I tell all of my family and friends to steer clear of this location! read more

The waiting time wasn't bad, but they promise that they will check all fluids, and I watched the employee as he was filling up the oil but he was looking the other way, talking to his friend, didn't check any levels of anything else or any other dipsticks, closed my hood and printed out a receipt that said he checked everything. The manager then came over and I asked the manager to check everything. Just kind of dishonest. But if you call them, they will offer you a 25 off coupon, which isn't bad. read more

They told me free inspection with an oil change, I said ok great. Then they charged me for it. I pointed it out to the technician and he got pretty upset and said I was "Petty AF" over the $7. I was calm and just wanted what they told me. He was pissed. Then they gave me an expired coupon to make up for it. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I took my F-250 Diesel into Take 5 for an inspection, but out of convenience I decided to get an oil change. I asked the staff a couple times to make sure their shop worked on and knew how to work on a diesel vehicle. I sat calmly as they changed my oil, sold me on wipers, a coolant flush, and then comes the filters (fuel filter is main focus here). After all is said and done, supposedly primed and ready to go, the truck wouldn't start. This went on for over an hour with them trying to figure out the issue. We eventually had to push the vehicle out of the oil change bay. Continuing on, the truck was towed to "their" mechanic. They will not let you pick the mechanic or the cost isn't covered. I went four days without a truck and when I picked it up it seemed to start okay, but small issues occurred, it died randomly on me a couple times, but would start back up. I didn't think anything of it. So, I drove it about 350 miles one day hauling fencing and a dump trailer and it randomly died when I was a block from my house and wouldn't start up again. This time the truck goes to my mechanic, they went over all sorts of things for a few days. The issue ended up being the wrong fuel filter and cap was installed. This ended up causing low oil pressure, air in the fuel line, and a 600 dollar fix. Moral of the story: Don't take a diesel to a take 5 for convenience. Go to the local dealership of your mechanic. read more

In and out surprisingly quick for an oil change. Most take 5's are jam packed. Was offered a water bottle while I waited in my vehicle before I even got in the bay. Like a lot of other reviews have mentioned the atmosphere was a bit unprofessional. I get it's a garage so there may be a laid back feel amongst the employees but there are still inappropriate things to say to another employee while you're standing right next to the customer with their window down. Not to mention halfway through the service being rendered that music was blasted and I do mean BLASTED throughout the garage where you couldn't even hear what the employees were saying to you. If my one year old were with me he would have freaked out because of how loud it was. I'm sure any mother with a sleeping baby or someone on an important phone call they had to make during their lunch hour while also getting their oil changed would not have appreciated it either. Brought my car here for an oil change, paid for the most expensive synthetic they offered. Told them I only need the oil change. 10 minutes later I get mansplained that my K&N filter that I installed myself didn't need to be changed just cleaned at home. Yes, I'm aware, thanks. Then I get home and see they broke/ cracked the panel to get to said filter. Don't go messing around with things you're unfamiliar with. Thanks for the surprise. read more

There were great. Pretty typical mechanics and very kind and good at their jobs. The wait was normal and they even gave me water and a free inspection. I always choose Take 5 for my oil changes. Price is def higher but that's life in general. I would def recommend coming here for effective and efficient work. read more

Went to this place for a lil change and they said my car wouldn't pass the state inspection because my wiper blades are old. I ended up not getting the inspection done because it was changed in different county. So I changed it back in my county surprise surprise my car passed with out changing anything wiper blades as well. This place would lie to you about you car not getting passed so they would up charge you wiper blades, air filters etc. Don't go to this place. Not a honest business. read more
