I went to this jiffy lube and found it to be expensive just for an oil change. The workers were young like high school kids. I didn't get a good vibe from this place.. I paid over $100 for synthetic oil.. and I found it cheaper to have it done at the dealership. I think they over charge just because of the location. read more

Came here on my lunch break, and was a bit nervous on my time, but I had about 3 guys working at the same time, one with oil, one checking tire stuff and another guy checking the fluids . Wally was the first friendly face I saw and very informative. Amel was extremely nice when helping me as well. I didn't get the other names, but everyone was great. The manager Eric was very educational on what I needed and even told me about coupons. Plus, I made it back to work on time. The waiting area is clean with a TV and staff offered bottles of waters while waiting. SThis will be my new place for Oil Changes. read more

I usually change my own oil. However, sometimes you'd just rather pay to have it down. $38 after a 1st responder discount + radiator fluid topped off. In and out in under 15 minutes. It's worth the price if you're in a rush. The service was quick, and the staff were professional and friendly. They had a few measures to accommodate "social distancing". Took my car in for an oil change. I was advised that $800 of work needs to be done on brakes and battery. I had the car checked at another repair shop, no work was needed on the battery or brakes. Two days later, there was an oil leak because the filter was not installed correctly. Watch out - if you go here let them do what they advertise change oil. Have repairs done elsewhere. read more

Staff was knowledgeable & friendly, only docking off a couple stars due to floor manager at the time I went just recently. I am a regular customer at another [multicare] location in Chicago. I decided to try out this place because of location & time constraints. Although manager let me run a test drive with an EXTREMELY knowledgeable mechanic/tech, he was at first hesitant to answer right away if my brakes could be honored with servicing as I paid $$ to have my front & rear brake pads & rotors covered under their jiffy lube warranty. I told him that I had services performed at another multicare location and he just didn't give me a direct answer of "of course," or "no." But with another service I was going in for, he tried to push for me to pay for parts and labor. I already had the part, but he wanted me to return it and just buy their part. I understand they always try to make the biggest upsell possible, but what I didn't understand was the floor managers' demeanor through it all. I'll list it, hopefully in chronological order. 1. He wouldn't acknowledge if he could honor my brake system to be serviced until it was checked out via their "free brake inspection." 2. I had my paperwork filed into sheet protectors to show him the invoices to both front & rear brakes. He took them and kept going up to his mechanics for consultation. 3. He was adamant on me returning the part and buying the entire part & labor package. It was a total of basically double just paying for labor for one hour. 4. He was adamant on me paying "a little extra" just because it would be UNDER WARRANTY. 5. I asked if all jiffy lube multicare locations would be able to honor the WARRANTY, and he said "yes. of course." duh right? 6. BUT HE WOULDNT ANSWER when I asked & showed proof of purchase of my brake system. 7. Instead he kept saying they used cheap brake pads. "Organic" is a word he used to describe why it squeaks. His demeanor was slightly insulting and unprofessional in regards to the other JL location. 8. Also in between these interactions one of the mechanics walked up to the floor manager stating, "return her part? but she's got duralast GOLD." Manager said "it doesn't matter, I want her covered under warranty." Why would I pay over $200 to be "covered by a warranty" to not be guaranteed coverage a warranty? Also what's important to consider in this point is that the mechanics tone was questioning the managers. It implied that their part wasn't as dependable as what I purchased for cheaper. ** also side note I just replaced my front right axle, I needed to replace my front left axle. I replaced my F-R axle with the same part I got from auto zone. I've had this car for over 8 years. This is the first time I've had axle issues, so I doubt I'll be keeping this car until the NEW DURALAST GOLD axle(s) wear out. Regardless of #1-8, I knew I wasn't going to service my brakes nor my original issue here. Although my brakes have been squeaking they said they couldn't find anything wrong, that everything brake-wise looks almost new. A couple weeks later and it sounds like someone cut my brakes. (It's a grinding noise) So I tried to make this visit not be so much of a waste by asking for other services to be done, i asked for an estimate on 3 other things, (when I ask for an estimate, I tend to debate on what's more vital to getting done depending on costs), but I didn't receive any. I just got my keys back. Which was cool. I mean to describe the ending of my situation by means of stating that I asked for my keys back to "return the part." Long story short I drove all the way to Chicago, got my axle replaced for $75 instead of a whooping $220+ with a part more reliable than what they would've used. Right after I drove to my original JL multicare facility and got an oil change. All in the same day. I came in ready for some services to be done, but in the end I took my business elsewhere. read more

Not everyone at this place is a liar but there is one guy with a beard, glasses and an INCEL attitude that ripped us off with my breaks. The screws were put wrong so I went back and a younger guy said yeah that they were put on wrong(a guy with a beard put them on). So the manager with the beard came over and told the younger guy to shut up and not say anything. This manager is a d-bag and he knows it. Few months later I took my company car and beard guy was rude about me not wanting the expensive oil. I tell everyone to stay away when they see the beard guy but he might shave. I emailed for 5+ days before I had to go back bc my headlights out again. I paid full price?? I am still not pleased with my original 3 hr headlight experience with 2 kids in tow but I do appreciate the recent call and $40 refund for my replacement headlight. Nice gesture for sure. OK, so not a whole lot to say, as this is your garden variety Jiffy Lube franchise. Overpriced on oil changes of course, which is typical of places of it's ilk. Regular oil will set you back 40 bucks and you will pay 75 if you opt for the full synthetics. One aspect I did appreciate is them not pestering me with the hard sell for air filters, wiper blades, or other random BS that takes two seconds to put on yourself. Many places try to act like as though cataclysmic doom will instantly befall you seconds after driving away for not buying the service. Maybe they just save that routine for the soccer moms, but it was noticeably and pleasantly absent on my visit. Another positive aspect is how rapidly they managed to get me on my way. I was one car back when I rolled up and they knocked it out even before I ran out of lives sitting in the lobby playing Candy Crush. Sitting in the lobby of any automotive shop for any length of time makes me have flashbacks of sitting outside the vice principal's office in HS, so I was happy with the rapid service. My only gripe about this place had nothing to do with the services rendered any everything to do with courtesy. Imagine my surprise when I drove away and after the 10 second delay from audio head unit kicks over and I get a high volume blast of an AM frequency Catholic religious program. Dude, WTF? Ok, so I am a reasonable guy. Yes, I realize I had Yung Brook blasting when I hopped out of the car with it running, and it is most certainly not to every taste. You could of just turned it down, Also, yes, that is indeed my Rosary hanging from the mirror, but I am Catholic more by birth than choice these days. That thing is almost more an ode to the Boondock Saints films than it is my dedication to Catholicism. I'm not some secularist d-bag that likes to mock christianity because it's politically acceptable nowadays, far from it, but at the same time it is MY car, and I like to have it respected and not used as some sort of messenger service for the archdiocese. read more

Because I love being made to feel like my car is falling apart when it's 3 months old, I will go to Jiffy Lube Because right after going to the dealer, I believe that all of my filters need to be changed, and I will let the 15 year old working on my car do that All I asked was for an oil change, but okay, like, oh my god, totally, you MUST give me something that'll cost $500 . . . I was a couple thousand miles overdue for an oil change after moving here from the east coast and just looking for the quickest place. The people who helped me were friendly, efficient, and not pushy at all. Super honest, "Here's your air filter, it honestly looks fine so I'm just going to put it back in the car for you". They mentioned my coolant was a little low, but didn't push me to make a decision (I did have them top it off as it was like $4 and honestly not worth doing on my own since I was already there). I've seen some mentions that they're overpriced, but I paid the same amount I have at my local car dealer and other service stations and received much quicker and friendlier service, so I'm happy. I have never had a better experience getting my oil changed. I was immediately greeted before I had even stopped my car. The staff was extremely friendly and the first thing they asked was "How can we help you today?" I was escorted to the waiting area where they pointed out the water fountain, TV, and magazines as they opened all the doors for me. I was expecting the usual 30min wait for a signature oil change, but they had my car done in 10min. They also were kind enough to wash all my windows and vacuum the floors. They didn't try to upsell any premium products or suggest extra services that my car didn't need. They respected my time, and that goes a long way. Not only that, but every single employee thanked me on my way out. I will absolutely be returning to this location, and suggest it to anyone who lives in the area. read more

I was very satisfied by their service. My husband was out of town and my "low air pressure" light went on. With my 1 year old, I pulled in and a man (I wish I would have remembered his name) walked up to me and asked if he could help me. I told him my situation and he said, "no problem, I will check the tire pressure for you." I was there for about 10-12 minutes and then they called me out. He said he took care of it and I asked him how much I owe him and he said, "don't worry about it." I told him I wanted to give him something by he said it really wasn't necessary. I came in for a headlight change. I didn't know it until later, but this model normally requires the bumper assembly to be removed to change the bulb. Adam managed to change the bulb by removing the wheel well cover and forcing his arm up and around to change the bulb. It was an Incredible effort to get it done. It is great to see someone solve a problem and do whatever it takes to get the job done. read more

I usually don't write reviews. I went to this location to swap tires and rims. When I drove off a friend of mine who was driving behind me told me that rear tires are shaking. Took it back to the location. There was one car in front of me, so the guy who works there told me to wait a little bit. After waiting about 40 minutes the other guy came out and told me that I'll need to wait for about 2 hours before they can take a look at my car. Poor customer service. Why to make me wait 40 minutes just to let me know that I have to wait another 40? Went to another mechanic who told me that the bolt pattern of the rim doesn't match to my car and its dangerous to drive. Like seriously? Why to install rims that are don't match instead of telling me that?? What if that tire would come off while driving? Also was quoted $50 for the work, but was charged $80. Anyways horrible experience. Thank you for screwing me up. read more

The staff here is AMAZING! Loved those guys. But, not so happy about the work on my car. I came in for an oil change before a cross country trip and they recommended 2 new tires, new wipers (before I bought the ones they had they tried to install the ones I had previously bought for my car. Turns out they were the wrong size but I appreciated that!), filter changes, etc. Since I was about to be going across country and back, I went ahead and did all the recommendations they presented to me. I drove off the lot and my car felt WRONG. I kept driving because I thought the shaking may stop but it didn't. It felt like my axle was loose. I called them and drove it right back to the shop. They said it was because they put the two new tires in the back, and switched the two old back tires to the front. They switched them back and the shaking was pretty much gone, but not 100%. I would have given 4 stars if that was the only problem, but the morning we left to drive across country the tire pressure light came on. Turns out, one of the new tires already has a slow leak. Very very very annoying as this is a 2014 VW Jetta, and I haven't had problems with tire pressure until now... and the tires are supposed to be new... Can't go back to the shop now as we are in WA state. Would love some kind of a refund for all this trouble because at this point I would have rather spent $500-$550 somewhere else. read more

I highly recommend to go somewhere else for an oil change. Yesterday, I had a terrible experience with this shop. I called before I arrived to confirm that the price of an oil change is $39. Upon my arrival they popped open the hood and told me that my Honda needs a "special" oil that is $87.50. They told me that there is only one option for this oil. They computed all of the charges and my bill was going to be over $100 for an oil change!! The dealership charges half of that! After I gave push back to the price another option magically became available that was half the price of the first option. I found it funny that just moments earlier I was told that there is one option. I immediately asked them to pull my car out of their shop. I'm taking my business back to the dealership. If someone can't be honest about oil there is no way that I'm letting them do any work to my car. read more
