They Don't Write Back or own up to mistakes! Have written to corporate, to be referred to them individually as a branch, then to have not been responded to for weeks now. Came in for an oil change and there was a line. Okay. Told an hr wait. Okay. Line was mismanaged and people who came after me got in before me and others. . . Okay. In the line you can not leave. 2 hrs and 30 min later went through. One dude Chris was helpful and knowledgeable but there were nearly 10 employees running this way and that not doing anything helpful. Got wipers. Person couldn't figure out how to put them on. No acknowledgement of the wait, or the lack of organization. $100 + dollars and nearly 3 hrs later left to write an email. No reply. Wrote again, promised to write back. Days later referred to the branch it self. No response. It's okay to have an off day. It's okay to make mistakes but write back. Answer. Apologize. Make it right. Zero of that going on. I stopped by because my BMW had coolant warning light. Within 5 minutes of pulling into the driveway, Seth greeted me. Seth advised me to go get BMW specific coolant and told me the quantity I needed. After I brought it back, Seth showed me indicator for low coolant, how much I need to keep it topped off, what kind of coolant to use so that I can service it myself in the future. Seth also gave me pointers I can google myself to service my car (E90) in general via my laptop and parts I needed. He also told me future issues I can run into with my specific vehicle. All of this in 10 minutes of pulling into the shop during lunch time. And to top it off, he charged me $0 for all of his advise. I usually get my oil changes at my car dealership. Oil light and tire pressure light were on so I wanted it taken care of ASAP. Went to Jiffy and they had no line just one person ahead of me. The Manager called me Ma'am and then he called the other Woman little lady. Just so you know for future reference nobody likes being called Ma'am. As far as the service goes they wiped down my windows nicely with a greasy AF rag! Pretty much dirtier than before! My wiper fluid was out and guess what? They never filled that either..... Driving away I realized the tire pressure light was STILL on. I figured some kind of malfunction in the vehicle. Did you all even change my oil or just top errr off? Today I went to the dealership and they told me the tire pressure was low in all tires and they even wiped my windows! Imagine that! No charge! Going to stick with my wonderful car dealership & not goin back to Jiffy! I do NOT trust this place! Update: No, I don't want your number. We've been coming here for years. The people working here all seem really positive and when I forget my coupons, they always make it right. Last time, I hit a small snag. Chris V and his team did their best to fix the problem and gave me a great discount for the delay. Everytime my husband's car (Mini Cooper) needs service he sighs about how it will take all day to take it out to the dealership and getting to Lake City Way is a huge hassle. I always tell him. Wow! I've never had such a great experience getting my oil changed! Bill was so friendly right away and immediately let me know how long he thought it would take to get my car in. I've been to multiple jiffy lube locations and by far the best experience I've had thanks to their fast and friendly service! I really appreciated Bill asking for my input in setting the miles for my next oil change as well as letting me know what he thought given his experience. He provided real input - not just what he thought was going to get me back in the door. However, it wasn't just Bill who was friendly and attentive - Syd was also great by providing extra input about my vehicle! My Experience at Jiffy Lube This Week: Monday, 6:25 pm - I pull up, there's a line. It's 35 minutes before closing. Woman working on a car gives me a huge eye roll and sighs deeply. "We can't take any more tonight," she says to her co-worker who is greeting me. I tell him I'll come back tomorrow. Tuesday, 6:30 pm - I pull up, there are 2 cars being worked on. "Can you take me?" I say to the greeter. The same woman is back there, giving me the same eye roll. "Well," she says to the greeter, "we're not allowed to turn people away." "That's actually a really terrible answer," I say to the greeter. "But please? I'm going on a road trip later this week." "No worries, ma'am," he says, "We're going to get you in, don't worry about it." We go to the computer, and the woman comes over to look up my car. "Ha!" she says triumphantly. "We don't even have your filter, so we can't work on your car tonight. It's part of an order I placed that we'll get tomorrow. Come back then." Friday, 9:50 am - I pull up, confident that I have given them two days to get the filter in. It's road trip day. "Hmm," says the greeter. "We can't work on your car today because we don't have the right filter." I ask him if he's sure -- that they were supposed to get it Wednesday. No, they don't have it. He agrees to call another nearby Jiffy Lube to see if they have it. They do, so I go to the U Village location. Friday, 10:15 am - I pull up. It's a 1.5 hour wait. They look at my car. The guy details what he'll do. He says, "We don't need to change your filter. It's good for another couple oil changes." Nice. read more

Canned caveat: I can not give chains more than 3 stars unless they do something above and beyond. If you aren't aware it's a first come first serve basis. Tip: Always call in advance and inquire as to how many cars they have and how long it'll take to work through them. Also, typically, if you show up towards end of service as long as you are in line before end of business hours, they'll take you. For this location the staff were super friendly. I know a bit about cars but live in an apt so changing my oil isn't an option. They did the typical air filter checks and I knew the engine filter needed to be replaced and the air intake still had some life in it (check them every 2,500 miles when I check my oil). The tech came in and gave it to me straight, no attempt to upsell. Btw, they also didn't pressure me to get synthetic oil, even though it's my preference. Bonus, the restroom was very clean, especially considering how much grease the employees are probably washing off their hands. Also, the waiting area was cozy. All in all, pretty quick service for the number of cars ahead of me and will go back for next oil change. read more

I was worried of a wait time as lines are long in our COVID world but I called ahead to see how business was going - the receptionist was kind and informative and I headed on my way! The customer service at this location is my favorite! The people that work here are kind and very helpful! I learn something new each time I get service here. They're fast, friendly, explain everything to you, find you discounts when they can, and don't try to sell you on services you don't need, like I've experienced at other Jiffy Lubes. Right now, you stay in your car with your mask on while they do their thing and even though I miss the lobby coffee, I also kind of enjoy being involved in the process. Kurtis provided the best customer service! I was in desperate need of a new battery because my car had just died at a nearby gas station. I had barely got a battery jump in order to limp into this jiffy lube. So this is where Kurtis started to shine. He had a battery that would help me get out the door. I also did do a needed oil change. He gave me the promo discount without having me dig up the website. Upon trying to remove my old battery, the connections just broke off because there was so much corrosion! Kurtis was able to source the required parts, get my new battery installed, and I was able to drive away without having to be towed to a mechanic. Didn't replace oil drain plug seal so it was leaking a lot. Ended up costing me some money to get fixed at another shop when I finally figured it out. Seems rather strange they wouldn't replace the seal as the mechanic I talk to said that's pretty standard. read more

They're joking around with each other and working hard, and i felt like i was having a genuine human interaction. I LOVE that kind of experience so much more than something corporate and rigid. The people here were extremely personable, professional and honestly SO NICE! Mike, the assistant general manager, and his associates went above and beyond to help me to the point I will only be using THIS specific Jiffy Lube for all my car needs. Took my new-to-me car and for an oil/fluids change/refill. Normally my dad does all my car stuff but since we no longer live in the same area that's no longer an option. Bill was fantastic. Kind and patient. It was my first time doing this and I had no idea what to expect but he talked me through the process and let me know all the little things they check for. He gave me a deal on the oil as well as license plate light replacement and cost was reasonable. They open at 8AM on Sat which is great for us morning people trying to knock out all our lame chores first thing. Moments ago, I experienced the best customer service of my life, right here at the 45th street jiffy lube. Both my headlights were out and were unfortunately, out of stock. I can't remember the man's name, but he generously offered to install the headlights if I were to purchase them independently from an auto parts store elsewhere, and sure enough he did at no cost! Honestly, I cant remember a time when service was this good, let alone at the local jiffy lube! Usually getting repairs on my car is a complete and total nightmare, but this quite simply made my day! Exceptional Service-Make sure you talk to MIKE!! (Certified Technician) I Drove in and had the guys check out my truck for a possible engine mount issue, and with NO CHARGE they popped my hood and just about 5 workers investigated my "Engine Mount" on their hands and knees and they ALL even crawled on their backs to see under the engine to check it out. Mike explained everything was in working order and showed me by revving my engine in Drive & Reverse. (E-Brake Engaged ofcourse).
