DON'T GO HERE. My car was damaged by a service technician. When I brought this up they asked me to have a mechanic investigate, which I did. The mechanic determined the issue was clearly caused by the Jiffy Lube technician, and now the Jiffy Lube manager won't own up to the mistake. Worse, they have been dishonest. read more

Stopped by the Wallingford Jiffy Lube with a mechanical issue on my motorcycle. I was met by the Manager and Dilan the Technician. They dropped with what they were doing and helped put me back on the road. Meanwhile the rest of the technicians were steadily taking care of customers and putting out cars--no production lost, everyone wins. In the midst of a bad morning trying to respond to a serious unexpected car wreck, I left my car in the hands of Steven Shepard, (Gen. Manager), his employees, Chris and Jesse that went above and beyond to service my car with an oil change that included the extra effort in performing a service check and courtesy cleaning of my car. Who knew an oil change could be so fast and enjoyable! I was actually dreading it, especially when I pulled up and both bays were full. I waited in the right lane and although the left lane opened first, once I moved up they prioritized me, realizing I had actually waited longer. And what a friendly crew led by Seth. The bulbs on Grand Cherokees are so hard to access (I've done it before and it took me an hour), but Bill took the time to replace it without charging me for the labor-- and trust me, it's an aggravating process! I had a great experience here, and have the last several times I've gotten my oil changed. The technicians were friendly, professional, and efficient. I also appreciated being able to stay in my car and the fact that all the technicians were observing good COVID-19 safety protocols (masking, distancing, etc.). I had gone to two other places to change my oil that day and the first wanted to charge me 120 with a 2 hour wait and the second didn't have the oil that my car takes... I drive a hybrid Lexus.... hello average oil!! What the heck?! So this was my third and final attempt of the day. It was almost closing for them but I wanted to try. I pulled up, he said of course I can change your oil! You have a coupon? Great! 65 bucks and I was out of there in 15 minutes!!! They vacuumed my floors and washed my windows. Great service! Honestly they saved me from a broken truck. Long story short I was changing my own oil and the filter was not coming off. Cracked on it so hard it cracked. I had oil dripping and no tools on hand to fix it. Called them up and asked if I could be seen right away since I was two blocks away. Drove my vehicle there before the oil drained all the way out (I know... a dumb move but I was stuck in an awkward garage where a tow truck couldn't get me out). They got the filter off, got fresh oil in, made sure no damage to the vehicle and even asked me to come back later to make sure nothing nothing had happened that might need further inspection. I also walked out with a discount. Great guys and excellent service. I'd give a 6/5 if I could. I'll be coming here the rest of my time in Seattle. read more

Being at this Jiffy Lube is like being in an episode of it's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The manager is rude, but somewhat and oddly endearing? Multiple people throwing out different prices, and the cheapest oil they offered was $80. One guy was running around with a backpack on. I was called sweetie like 20 times. It wasn't a BAD experience, it was very eccentric and a bit expensive though. But hey, relatively quick. Thanks for that. read more

The service at this Jiffy Lube was wonderful. No one likes going in to get an oil change but it's nice when you can stay in your car and the gentleman working are professional and explain everything thoroughly. Bill the manager rang me up and was very friendly, Seth was very helpful and I believe Jesse did the oil change. They did a great job and got me out quickly! I've always dreaded oil changes because they can take FOREVER and you are left in a cramped tiny little waiting room that is less than desirable. The last Jiffy Lube I went to in Ballard took 2 hours so I was not overly excited to go get an oil change just before Christmas. My husband told me that he always takes his car to the Jiffy Lube in Wallingford so I decided to give that location a try. All I can say is WOW! They checked me in within 5 minutes and told me that my car would be done in 30 minutes or less. The best news was that not only would it only take 30 minutes, ladies wait for it, The Night Light Nail Salon is directly across from the Jiffy Lube so I was able to get a pedicure while my oil was getting changed. I asked the manager if I needed to be back right as my car was done and he said no problem we can park your car on the side if your car is done before you return. Win, Win!!! I returned in 45 minutes, the manager had my car vacuumed and was ready to check me out. Oil changes are not cheap these days, most cars require Synthetic oils but you can find a $15 coupon online if you look for it so you can get out of the door for around $91 for a small SUV which is about the standard going rate. The manager was very helpful in assisting me to use the coupon that I had found online. I don't take time to fill out reviews very often but the Jiffy Lube in Wallingford warrants my time and recognition for their outstanding customer service and time efficiency. It is now my Go To destination for oil changes! I wish I would have found this location years ago!!! read more

I've been here before and the service is fine, but they are severely understaffed. After waiting in line for an hour I was told I was in the exit lane (which doesn't make sense since this is the backside of the garage) and I had to go to the other side, and it would be at least another hour wait. Time is money. Have better signage and communicate with your customers if you are understaffed. read more

I was driving home on I-5 yesterday when my car started stuttering, the engine light came on, and I dropped from 55 mph to 40. Found this Jiffy Lube at the nearest exit, and they said immediately that they would look at the car and give me some oil to get home for FREE. Seriously: Seth would not let me pay. I've taken my company car here every three months for the last few years, usually around opening time. The service is usually good. But the last two times I've visited, I've interacted with a couple of hostile staff members. This past week, one staff person flipped out on me when I pulled forward, yelling and throwing his arms around. He said I was too close to the open pit, although no one else seemed to think so. His coworkers tried to calm him down, but he kept yelling at me and getting more agitated until he abruptly said "You're done, get out of here." He aggressively waived me out. One of his coworkers came to my window to apologize, and say "We'll talk to him." To be clear, this isn't my typical interaction with these folks, and I thought this place was perfectly fine until recently. Given my recent visit, I can't rationalize going here any more. read more

The manager was very quick to help me soon as I pulled up, walked me through all the checks they did on the car, and then I was out in 10 mins. They also gave me $15 off cause the manager noticed that I was probably getting a bit nervous with the $ increasing. Just had my Toyota RAV 4 serviced by the Toyota dealership to check out an oil leak. They informed me that wherever I had my oil serviced last, which was this location, cracked a part of the filter and that's where the leak was coming from. I won't be recommending this place to my neighbors. read more

I've been going to different Jiffy lube's my entire life and this was by far the most seamless experience I've had. Their promise of a quick & efficient oil change was kept and performed with superior customer service. Someone give these guys (especially Chris, Sid, & Charles a raise!!). I also want to give Charles a special shout-out as he is the one who mainly assisted us the entire time and wow, his service is phenomenal. Not only was I the last car to be serviced but I also gave him a slight love bump with my car (still so sorry!!!!). I've been doing a lot of "big girl" things lately, including getting my oil changed. This Jiffy Lube location greeted me with a friendly and speedy staff. Ron was my point person. He walked me through the process, didn't pressure sell me anything I didn't need and he honored an outdated coupon I found online. I was in and out in twenty minutes. Ron even walked me to my car and sent me off with a, "come back any time for your free top-offs!" and a smile. Open until 7pm. No appointment necessary. read more
