Took my SUV in today because I simply needed some air added to my tire, and the mechanic (Seth) took out extra time to figure out what was happening with the leak. It ended up being a nail in the tire, but for a free service I was really impressed with the curtesy and knowledge Seth showed. It would have been really easy to just set the tires to the standard amount and move on, but the extra attention to detail and research meant a lot. If this is the amount of effort and professionalism I received from a free air pressure issue I can only think positively about other services they provide. Got there around 2pm. Was taken in right away. Greeted by name (they remembered me from last night. More on that below) They moved quickly. No tricks. No gimmicks. All done in just a bit over 20 min. I should add that this has started as a bad experience. Yet ended with a 5* review. Here's how:I wanted to do the oil change the evening before and I called ahead (as I was arriving close to their closing time) and they said "sure, no problem". Got there in time, but they said come tomorrow, computer is down. I didn't quite believe it because they dismissed me very summarily. I was like: I don't need Internet access, I need an oil change. No sorry, no explanation. So, with 10 min to spare I started to write my review. Manager saw me, came to me and after a discussion that actually didn't start too well, I got to believe him, that he was actually having problems with his internet access and as a result his ability to take payments. I had gone to two other places to change my oil that day and the first wanted to charge me 120 with a 2 hour wait and the second didn't have the oil that my car takes... I drive a hybrid Lexus.... hello average oil!! What the heck?! So this was my third and final attempt of the day. It was almost closing for them but I wanted to try. I pulled up, he said of course I can change your oil! You have a coupon? Great! 65 bucks and I was out of there in 15 minutes!!! They vacuumed my floors and washed my windows. Great service! Honestly they saved me from a broken truck. Long story short I was changing my own oil and the filter was not coming off. Cracked on it so hard it cracked. I had oil dripping and no tools on hand to fix it. Called them up and asked if I could be seen right away since I was two blocks away. Drove my vehicle there before the oil drained all the way out (I know... a dumb move but I was stuck in an awkward garage where a tow truck couldn't get me out). They got the filter off, got fresh oil in, made sure no damage to the vehicle and even asked me to come back later to make sure nothing nothing had happened that might need further inspection. I also walked out with a discount. Great guys and excellent service. I'd give a 6/5 if I could. I'll be coming here the rest of my time in Seattle. read more

Being at this Jiffy Lube is like being in an episode of it's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The manager is rude, but somewhat and oddly endearing? Multiple people throwing out different prices, and the cheapest oil they offered was $80. One guy was running around with a backpack on. I was called sweetie like 20 times. No one likes going in to get an oil change but it's nice when you can stay in your car and the gentleman working are professional and explain everything thoroughly. I've always dreaded oil changes because they can take FOREVER and you are left in a cramped tiny little waiting room that is less than desirable. The last Jiffy Lube I went to in Ballard took 2 hours so I was not overly excited to go get an oil change just before Christmas. My husband told me that he always takes his car to the Jiffy Lube in Wallingford so I decided to give that location a try. All I can say is WOW! They checked me in within 5 minutes and told me that my car would be done in 30 minutes or less. The best news was that not only would it only take 30 minutes, ladies wait for it, The Night Light Nail Salon is directly across from the Jiffy Lube so I was able to get a pedicure while my oil was getting changed. I asked the manager if I needed to be back right as my car was done and he said no problem we can park your car on the side if your car is done before you return. Win, Win!!! I returned in 45 minutes, the manager had my car vacuumed and was ready to check me out. Oil changes are not cheap these days, most cars require Synthetic oils but you can find a $15 coupon online if you look for it so you can get out of the door for around $91 for a small SUV which is about the standard going rate. The manager was very helpful in assisting me to use the coupon that I had found online. I don't take time to fill out reviews very often but the Jiffy Lube in Wallingford warrants my time and recognition for their outstanding customer service and time efficiency. It is now my Go To destination for oil changes! I wish I would have found this location years ago!!! read more

I've been here before and the service is fine, but they are severely understaffed. After waiting in line for an hour I was told I was in the exit lane (which doesn't make sense since this is the backside of the garage) and I had to go to the other side, and it would be at least another hour wait. Time is money. Have better signage and communicate with your customers if you are understaffed. read more

I've been going to different Jiffy lube's my entire life and this was by far the most seamless experience I've had. Their promise of a quick & efficient oil change was kept and performed with superior customer service. Someone give these guys (especially Chris, Sid, & Charles a raise!!). I also want to give Charles a special shout-out as he is the one who mainly assisted us the entire time and wow, his service is phenomenal. Not only was I the last car to be serviced but I also gave him a slight love bump with my car (still so sorry!!!!). He walked me through the process, didn't pressure sell me anything I didn't need and he honored an outdated coupon I found online. I was in and out in twenty minutes. This would have been a standard 3-star review--I mean, who can *really* be a fan of a chain oil-change place? But in the end, it was more than just OK. I pulled up and was immediately greeted by a friendly man who said it would be about 30 minutes, and to please follow him and watch my step on the way to the waiting room. The waiting room itself was kind of icky, with that exhaust-fume smell that wasn't really helped by the bathroom door hanging wide open. Luckily I had brought a book and was able to levitate to another dimension. About 30 minutes later, the woman who worked there called me out to review what needed to be done. Now, just about every time I get work done on my car I feel like I'm totally being hosed. But for once I wasn't told that I really needed to change this or that filter, when I had just had it done at the last oil change. They did tell me I had two brake lights out, which I had known. Except had forgotten, so I was glad they picked it up. Come to think of it, I think they've been out for a long time (I'm a real safe driver, apparently), but the last oil change place didn't catch it. Anyway, she told me it would be 10 more minutes "unless I heard her cussing" which would mean the lights were hard to change and she'd need an extra 5. It was way less than 10 minutes, even though she admitted to having used some choice vocabulary, and she knocked $10 off my total price for reasons I'm still not clear about. All in all, a very reasonable price when you throw in the new lightbulbs and wiperblades, plus the convenience of not having to install them yourself. But, stupid me, I spent an hour vacuuming out my car the other day, without remembering that at Jiffy Lube they do it for you! Oh well, it's especially crumb-free right now. read more

I am escorted to the waiting area and told that they will be with me in a moment. -9:15am. I finish cruising the web on my phone. -9:16am. I decide to close my eyes for a moment whilst awaiting to be approached about the service my car requires this morning. -9:45am. I open my eyes due to my phone vibrating in my pocket. It's my girlfriend texting me. I reply. -9:46am. I realize that I fell asleep in the waiting area, yet no one has approached me yet pertaining my car. -9:58am. I am finally approached. Thinking that I would be simply paying them for their services, I am brought to the sad and infuriatingly realization that they, in fact, had not even touched my car yet. -9:59am. The employee tries to feed me some bullshit excuse of why no one has even looked at my car, but I don't swallow it. In stead I spit it back in their face. -10:00am. I tell them they have simply wasted an hour of my time and that it's completely unacceptable. They try to feed me the same bullshit again. I cut him off fast. "Give me my goddamn keys!" I say with spite. He looks around not even knowing where my keys are. -10:02am. The dipshit of an employee spots them. "Oh. There they are. They're on top of your car." On top of my car? He then walked away. -10:03am. I grab my keys and leave. I will NEVER step foot in this Jiffy Lube again. read more
