Josh, Jason, Leon and Gene are friendly, helpful, fair, honest and informative employees. I drive out of my way to go to Seminole Jiffy lube versus the closer Largo Jiffy Lube because the experience is better here. This is my second vehicle I've been bringing here. They don't hard sell tons of extraneous stuff which is a turnoff like most places try to do. They educate you on needs and it's entirely up to you and pleasant what you choose. I appreciate that. Manager was great. He agreed to service my car, a few minutes after their closing time. He seemed fair, accommodating, and he didn't tell me I had multiple issues with my car so he could sell items to me or make more money for service. They changed the oil, checked fluids, and I was on my way. read more

They cost 80% over Goodyear Gemini for same service. There managers are trained to maximize your service and then on top of that there pricing is ridiculous. Go elsewhere as fadt as you can. read more

I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for years. The past few times I have gone they have been getting more and more pushy. The most recent time was the last straw. They use scare tactics to try to get you to upgrade products. The guy practically told me I would be lucky if my car started when I left if I didn't pay $29.99 for an engine cleaning. On top of that they tried over and over to upsell me on the oil change to the $80 one, and this is after I told them that I was not currently working and really just needed to get my oil changed at the lowest cost as I was not in a position to spend any more than needed. I will never go back to this location. I feel as if they were trying to take advantage of a female, which I am sure they do all the time. Do not go to this location. Take your business elsewhere, you will be much happier with the service and respect. read more

I am ashamed that there are so many bad reviews! You can tell it's just another Yelp scam! Well I visited Jiffy today for the first time, in need of a quick oil change ! I came here, contrary to the two stars they have, I was treated like one in a million! You pay for an oil change, you get your windows washed, car vacuumed, everything else checked out....and at the end a red carpet for your grand departure! Corporate office sent me a $40 gift card in the mail for my troubles after I emailed them about the horrible service.

I bought a Groupon for $20 for a convention oil change. (43.99 value) i brought my own oil filter and additive. I was in the area so i stopped by this location. I told them I'd like an oil change and oil filter, not to bother checking anything else. 10w30 is what i preferred.They checked everything anyway, no problem, thanks guys, i didn't want to waste their time. The guy at the counter said they don't have 10w30 in conventional, only high mileage. (Very weird to me but ok) However, i should only have paid tax and oil disposal fee but was charged $14.62. When i asked what the addition charge was, they said it's the groupon i have, so i showed him the groupon and showed the guy that it couldn't be the groupon. He said he didn't know why it's coming up like that, it always does. So i said ok I'll figure it out. I checked my receipt, i was charged for coolant top off (that i didn't need or want, i have my own in the trunk). Then i showed him my receipt and said i was charged for coolant. He said no. It's included. (Obviously it's not if there is clearly a charge for it). I asked the guys outside about the coolant and they said no, the level was fine. So basically i was charged $10.48 to not really add coolant. I made a complaint with jiffy lube then decided to check over what the guys did in case bc usually, where I'm from, they show the oil level before you leave. So it's approx 3/4 quart low. And oil spilled on the bumper (so what I'll wash it) but i don't exactly live near that location so it's a pain to go all the way back so now i have to top it off myself. Went to Jiffy Lube on seminole blvd. I needed a qt or so and ready for a oil change decided to try this company since it was a sunday. One hour 15 min later i was done. Expected quicker serv but all good. They went thru the normal routine, showed me my air filter and recommended a coolant change and some normal metal on my differential magnetic plug all which i elected to do with my normal mechanic. I however asked them to wipe out the spill tray under the filter. Brick paver driveway! My next stop was Home depot and i checked after getting some things and oil spots on the asphalt. Got home parked in street and wiped out the spill tray. Then noticed the splash plate under the engine bolts loose. One a third of the way in. The dust cover my the spill tray not reinstalled. I fixed all that. I saw the guy check one of four tires for pressure and put the air valve cap on by two threads. Tightened that. I opened the hood to find clips on the air filter box lid unclipped. Also noticed cars prior getting vacuumed but apparently not mine. Not happy and would not recommend. read more

I stopped in just to get and oil change, but got more than I expected in a bad way. They pulled everything out of my glove box to get to my cabin air filter and left all of my stuff on the floor. I said I didn't want them to replace it, so the guy shoved the filter back in the wrong direction, all bent and crumpled up. So, in the 2 weeks it took me to replace the filter myself, exhaust and other pollutants were unknowingly flowing freely into my car with my children. He did not replace the cover and just threw that behind the glove box too. He only replaced one of the screws that keep the glove box where it should be, so it was lopsided and hanging by one side. The other screw was left on the floor with the rest of my documents and belongings. They treated my car like garbage and I will never go back there again. read more

I needed my oil changed so I went here for the second time with my old Toyota Tacoma. I understand the upsell but don't lie. The guy come into the waiting area and ask you to step out for a moment. They don't want the the rest of the people hearing the bullshit coming out their mouths. He proceeded to show me the radiator fluid and the color scheme and how bad the fluid is. He said the colr indicates the fluid is bad. He said it looks like the fluid is basically water by now and needs to be changed. I look at both of the mechanics and said didn't I change the fluid last time I was here? (I knew I did)Their mouths dropped and one of the mechanics went back to the car and tested the fluid again. The color came back perfect nothing wrong. His response was that he checked from the resovoir by mistake. BULLSHIT!! I will never ever go to jiffy lube again and would strongly suggest to not get your oil changed by them. Horrible experience. Bunch of liars trying to screw you! read more

Jiffy lube is a HUGE scam/rip off. They charged me $90 for an oil change and when i asked why so much they told me because the oil was drained and synthetic oil was added (yes i know what an oil change is, the guy was very condescending). ANY other place i have gone for an oil change uses synthetic oil, and its usually around $30 max. So unless you want to be raped by jiffy lube, dont go there!! read more

So I bought a Groupon deal for $19.99 for a regular oil change. I understood that synthetic oil would be a bit of an upgrade. I took my SUV in and asked the guy how much it would be (I told him upfront that I had the Groupon deal which I paid $19.99 for but it was for a $39.99 oil change). He proceeded to tell me it would be $129.99 for the oil change but that I could deduct the $39.99 groupon value. So I would still be out of pocket $90 plus the $19.99 I already paid to Groupon. REALLY!? I told him," I may be a woman but I do I have 'stupid' written on my forehead?! I called the Firestone dealership in California that has been doing my oil changes for the last 5 years. I asked them what kind of oil they gave me, how many quarts, and the price. The CA place said $35.99. I told him about the &129.99 and he told me that they are just trying to rip me off. I got out of my car and asked for a manager and he told me how much they hate groupons and how he would lower the price to $89.99. I was infuriated. I left, went to Firestone about 5 miles away in Largo and paid $32.99. Groupon credited me back my $19.99 since I will NEVER be going to this Jiffy Lube. I have been a customer of Jiffy lube since 2001 (same vehicle) of this store or the Largo store. Like a lot of consumers I thought an oil change is an oil change. I made my decision to patronize Jiffy Lube based on convenience, location and their remarkable marketing campaign. Heck they even sent me a Father's day wish today ( although corporate has refused to contact me after 6 messages). To make a long story short they have stripped my drain plug and now declined to service my car as they stated the plug may not go back in. They want me to take it to their Clearwater store to replace the oil pan at an expense of $ 900. As I said earlier I left 2 messages with the VP Will Boyd and 3 messages with corporate. These messages were all congenial on my part. The last was not as nice mentioning my getting my attorney involved. I decided not to use that option and use Social media to get my message across. What I have learned is don't trust your valuable asset to some inexperienced techs who may be having a bad day or just not paying attention to plug your oil drain the correct way. Martin Z read more

went in for a oil change , all I got was upsell, my car is new , said I need a cabin filter ,it was dirty ,they wanted like $50.00,i got one at autozone for $9.00, when I replaced it , i noticed they put my old one in backwards ,with arrow pointing the wrong way, so I guess all the dirt went into my ac system (evap coil) thanks jiffy lube,also I had car on lift a week after oil change (tire repair) a lot of oil on underside of car, no leaks but sloppy work when they changed oil filter.(thanks jiffy lube), always new people at this location ,,owner should pay these guys more and have a decent staff, they might stay and care about the work they do, read more
