The team is cool, they're always quick, efficient, and one time, I bought my car there and instead of just changing my oil to make the sell, they informed me that my oil life was at 60% and allowed me to make the decision on if I wanted to still get the oil change. My SIL usually changes my oil, but since he's away at an Army school, I came here on advice of DD. It was so fast! I arrived just before 0830 & was driving away 15 minutes later. They vacuumed, put in washer fluid, aired up the tires, cleaned the windows... and the manager gave me a military discount when I mentioned why my SIL didn't do it this time. I took my own oil & filter, it was $36.59. All the employees & the manager were polite. My only complaint at all is that the waiting room smelled of old smoke, which gives me a slight headache. read more

Location: Decent location and great for service members only 5 min from Meade. Service: Went quickly as I was taken within 5 minutes. Entire service was about 20 minutes which is pretty decent in my book. They also didn't hassle me about additional not needed stuff. Cost: for a full synthetic if you don't use the off coupon or 10% off for servide members it would have been $94.15. Lounge: VERY clean and brand new chairs. Nicer then most locations. Overall: Okay overall and I will be back. TIP: I learned that each location is different and each uses different oil brands. They used one for me I did not recognize. read more

We brought the car to have the oil light reset. Another Jiffy Lube didn't reset it after an oil change. The employee topped off the fluids but didn't reset the light. Since we hadn't left the parking area, it was easy to pull back into the garage. The lobby is clean and comfy. read more

I go to get both my cars oils changed... An employee, Melvin i believe was his name, comes in and tells me the turning light is out on one of my cars and will cost $21... I knew this was the case because that specific vehicle had been giving me the turning signal out alert for roughly a week so I told him to go ahead and fix it. Then he comes back and says hey your light is good but now your turning light is out... I remind him it was the turning light all along that was out. He says rudely and loudly in front of other patrons "NO, it was the headlight." I say, "no it was the turning light hence the alert on my car." He says "FINE, I'm just gonna remove the light then." He continues to storm out and removed my light bulb from my vehicle. So now I have no turning light or head light. Now tell me, if I just paid $120 for two oil changes, WHY would I be making an issue over a $21 bulb unless I felt like I was being robbed. Techs were incredibly rude from start to finish. This was a surprise, because they seemed like a good establishment when I moved to the area 7 months ago. How quickly things change. They continuously spoke to me and acted like they did not want me there, like I was bothering them, or as if I was some little kid that was in their way and needed to go sit in a corner. As a returning customer, I went there feeling happy to get a quick oil change so close to home. By the time our brief interaction was over, I was sure that this would be my last visit except for a dire emergency. From now on, I will just go the Ft Meade Firestone instead. read more

I have been going to the dealership for years but it just isn't convenient and the price is about the same as Jiffy Lube. I can also get synthetic blend oil at Jiffy Lube (not at the dealership). So I loved this place. Never had any issues. But last time was a slight let down and that's why they get only 3 stars. First of all, they took my key card out of my card with my keys and forgot to give it back to me. Then they left scuff marks and dirty finger prints on my leather. Not cool. They offered to clean it when I mentioned it but I was already running behind because I had to go back to get my key card. I hope this straighten out because I like these guys. read more

I went in to ask if they knew any gas stations on 175 with working air machines for tires since 5 out of 5 gas stations I visited had broken/malfunctioning machines. First and last time to patron Jiffy Lube period! Not another dollar, dime, nickel or red cent. Everything went well at first at the Severn Square location near Fort Meade. The person that met me and my vehicle at the bay was very nice and cordial. In fact he escorted me to the waiting room. The salesperson that took my information did a good job at getting more than just an oil change out of me. After all, he didn't twist my arm. However, I made it very clear that I wanted all my lug nuts and I was assured that I would get them all back. As I went back to the waiting room I was called to the cashier within 20 minutes to pay for the services. After paying I went to my car and noticed that a lug nut was missing, pardon me CAP! I was quickly given a quick lesson by a gentleman to know the difference between a lug nut and a cap that covers a lug nut. I can't blame it on the fact that I'm a woman and didn't know. I was just ignorant to the fact. Ok. Understood, however, there was absolutely no reason to be very nasty about it and act as if I was taking up your time. Even though he felt he was doing me a favor by using his last few cap covers on my vehicle, I appreciated it. Why say it over and over again in a sarcastic manner and remind me that if I wanted one he would have to go to the parts store next door and charge me for it. "Okay. Charge me." I went back in the waiting room until he returned. While I was waiting I overheard a customer asking if the military discount was added to his total bill. Wow. I did not know that they offered that. After the customer paid his bill I asked the cashier about the military discount and was wondering if I could get one. The cashier was quite sarcastic about it and told me that I should have asked for it. I politely told him that I didn't know about. The response was that most people just ask for and I didn't and get out my face. I stated that I wanted to talk to the manager. The response was the manager went to go get me some caps. Are you serious!!?? That was the manager talking to me like that about the difference to a lug nut and a cap? Really!? The cashier is allowed to be very sarcastic to customers and give them a hard time about giving them a military discount? Obviously, I served my country for the land of the free and did it for quite some time. I just didn't ask about it because I wanted to just know. I even offered to make a sign for him that states they take military discounts, since he didn't wanted to be asked about it. My first and last time ever. Establishments always forget that patrons can go to other places to get services done. Only one review can slow down those services. A lot of businesses are getting complacent and forgetting customer service and business ethics. read more

The staff at this location did a great job at changing my oil, but when I got back to my car, I noticed they damaged the bottom of my car fender flap. It was torn off and hanging from the bottom of the car. When I brought this to their attention, they tried to explain to me that the fender flap was damaged before my visit, which is completely false. They offered me a $19 dollar credit and said it was the best they could do. This is completely unacceptable. Please be careful taking your vehicle to this location. They do not want to own up to their mistakes. Upon leaving, a worker commented stating, "Now don't put any reviews online". I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Jiffylube and most certainly will not be putting my car in their hands again. read more

Not sure what has happened to their quality. I have been here before but it had been a while since I got free tire rotations where I bought my tires. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation in Nov2018 since I was driving to NY and did not want to do the trip without. Service was ok, technicians were nice and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need and I walked away with what I thought was a positive experience. Until yesterday 07May2019 when I went to the FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE near my house (1492 ANNAPOLIS RD # 94 ODENTON, MD 21113-1008) due to a flat tire. Not only did I have to deal with having to get new tires, the technician informed me (and showed me) that my oil dip stick was BONE DRY... Yes you read that right, bone dry! Something that should not be since I do not have any oil leaking and have a good 2k miles before my next oil change according to the sticker on my window! SO THESE FOLKS DID NOT DO PUT ANY OIL and I wonder if they even rotated my tires! Never been happier to have a flat tire because it saved me from having to replace my car's engine! Something that I would have had to pay for since it seems that others have not been successful at getting this Jiffy Lube to help pay for damages. Take heed to other's reviews here that say the same thing about them not putting any oil in their car because I fell to this scheme myself. I should have trusted my intuition and not come here!!! It's all because I waited until the last minute to get my oil changed and my tires rotated.. This is the last time I trust another Jiffy Lube!! I got my oil changed and tires rotated then when I left my car started to shake like crazy! So I went back and they told me that I must have a tire off balance but they don't balance or check for balance (then why the hell are you rotating tires!?!?) when I tried to get manager Frank to explain it to me he told me I don't know what I'm talking about and just put the tires back and still made me pay for a full rotation which they clearly did not do!!! I don't appreciate being talked down to by the people that are supposed to provide me a service! And now I have to pay more money to have their work checked because I clearly can't trust their work if they will let a customer drive off with issues. This is the second time I've had a bad experience at a Jiffy lube (different location) from now on I'll stick to the dealer or the Firestone that's just up the block! They may be harder to get into because their busy but that's because they do quality work and have amazing customer service!! read more

Horrible experience and customer service. I brought my 2007 vw in for an oil change. I have only used synthetic oil in my car and am the original owner. They put a synthetic blend in and tried to tell me that even though the manual states synthetic oil be used that I didn't know what I was talking about. I asked them to kindly put the correct oil in the vehicle and I again was told I didn't know what I was talking about and there was nothing they could do. When asked for a corporate phone number I was told that there wasn't one and that I could only email my complaints. The supposed manager Justin slammed the door in my face as I was speaking on three occasions and was not interesting in helping at all. Long story short I called another jiffy lube who gave me all the contact information I needed and confirmed that I was correct in expecting synthetic be put in my car. I then drove to the jiffy lube in Columbia where without hesitation they changed the oil and made things right. read more

Staff was fine and pleasant. Somehow I was charged nearly $70 for an oil change today. Nothing else, just a basic oil change. No crazy space oil, just oil. Also the service checklist is a joke. Supposedly my floors were vacuumed (?). Why? No idea, didn't request it or authorize it. Supposedly they still did it and charged me for it, but there's literally no indication my floors were actually vacuumed. Plenty of dirt still there. All in all, never again. When it was brought to the on duty managers attention he decided to bring up our last interaction. Which was just as unpleasant. For me, oil changes are a necessary unpleasantness. They must be done every few months, and while it's possible to find a place that will do it for less than $20, you get what you pay for and I often find that places where their product is always "on sale" take forever and expect you to wait in the coffee shop next door, only to find some weird random tool (seriously I don't even know what this thing is... it looks like a giant pair of needle nose pliers with the tip bent by design) abandoned inside your engine compartment. That was the -last- time I went to a discount mechanic. (Just to be clear, that wasn't at Jiffy Lube.) I've been using Jiffy Lube for over a year, since I found one in Monterey, California. These things are everywhere, and your customer profile goes where you go. I didn't come to Jiffy Lube expecting a lot; it's a drive through oil change place. The concept is great, who isn't in a hurry these days? However, the franchise has increased my over all standards for routine car maintenance. Plus Points: * Several options for different kinds of oil changes. * Free fluid checks and top-offs between oil changes. * I often get a "$10 Off Next Service" coupon in my email after a visit. * The free coffee has never been empty - except once when it was actually broken and there was a sign apologizing. * I have never had to wait for service at this location. * They never take long enough for me to even really get into any of the magazines, which is refreshing considering that I've bitten good chunks out of a book waiting for typically 40 minute oil changes at another brand name place. Oddly, this one has the same feature that drew me into the first one; it's located less than a mile from my house, on the road I always take into town. I drive past it every day, so popping in is no trouble on my end. Frank, who I hear is the franchise owner (?) has helped me a few times and when he shows me issues that the manufacturer recommends I take a proactive stance on soon, I never felt like he was just trying to sell me something, or going through the motions. Yes, he has a personality that I can see some people taking harshly, but I've actually known a lot of mechanics with that quiet, always serious demeanor. I personally have never experienced any rudeness at his shop. In fact, the first time I came in I had lost my cellphone and needed to call my husband, but since we'd just moved here from California calling his cell would still be long distance. Frank told me I could use his phone, but when the receptionist found out it was long distance she hesitated, until Frank came back in and asked if I'd made my phone call. I told him it was long distance, and got a simple "So? Make your call." So, yeah, he's a man of few words - but they say actions speak louder than words and I was pleased with his actions. Recently, I popped in before a trip to Virginia because one of my headlights was out. I didn't even have to get out of my car; it was done in less than three minutes. I kind of felt like I was in a pit stop... cool! Oh, and they do have a $20 oil change, but they tell you flat out it's the standard, nothing special oil. Very poor service. I went there and got my oil change and they didnt check anything. Just changed the oil. Very poor job of wiping the window. I watched them the whole time and they checked nothing, yet when I got my print out, it said everything was ok. Said my tire pressure was filled to 34, which they didnt even look at the tires.The tire pressure for my car is 30. They didnt check air filter, brake fluid or coolant. Very expensive oil change with no service. I wont go there ever again or recommend them. read more

Took our 1.5 yr old vehicle in for an oil change. Went on about life and a bit later noticed an odd noise. Checked oil, no oil. This is less than 2 weeks after it supposedly was changed. There are no leaks, this was confirmed by the mechanic at the dealership who had to replace our entire engine. Called to see if there was anything that could be done, work together or something but he hung up on me. Even when I was speaking on the phone in a calm and rational matter while he tried to talk over my husband and me and all after telling me that my new car must have burned through the 5-6 qts of oil in that two weeks. Um, I think not. Now we are out $5k . That's not right. Won't ever go here again! read more

It's been a while since I've gone to have my Oil changed as usually my husband does it. But I needed an oil change really bad so off to Jiffy Lube I went. The technicians were semi-friendly, I could barely hear the one technician who was explaining to me as he was talking so low. When a different technician brought me over to the computer to discuss everything that they were going to do to my car, he tried to sell me everything in the book. This is the main reason why I hate going to get my oil change down. I just want my oil change done and that's it, don't try to sell me anything else. The technician spent a while trying to get me to buy new window wipers, when he finally got the hint that I wasn't budging he moved onto the air filters. He pulls out a really dirty air filter that was sitting next to his computer, asking me if I wanted them to change my air filter. I told him, "No thanks, just the Oil Change." I waited for the technician to continue talking, but he didn't, so I walked off to head to the waiting area. I happen to look back at the technicians working on my car as I stepped into the waiting room, and one technician gave me a really dirty look as if he was mad that I wasn't buying any of their additional items. There was a female technician that was working the counter and she was really nice and friendly. She definitely made my experience better by talking with me, explaining the services done to my car, and at the end, walking me out to my car & opening my car door so that I could get in. read more

The employees are professional; the waiting room is in good condition; and my oil changes have been completed within 15 minutes each time. Also, I recently had a flat tire, and I called them to see if they could fill it up for me. They filled it for me for free without having to pay for any other services. I was in the waiting room and the receptionist was blurting her personal drama and gossip to someone she knew there and everyone in the lobby was forced to hear about her relationship problems. The wait was not long and the mechanics were fairly nice considering they are mechanics. The receptionist needs some additional training on how to be professional in the work place. Came in late Saturday morning for synthetic oil change. Greeted and taken in immediately. Everyone helpful and friendly. Didn't feel pressured or rushed. Frank and Mc (?) were wonderful. Frank went above and beyond, taking extra great care of my car, cleaning oil spilled and splattered under my hood (I came in with the mess-was not from Jiffy Lube). He really was kind and generous. My husband visited this location to get his oil changed. Shortly after wards, he noticed his oil was leaking. He took the car up to the local Honda dealer where he was informed that Jiffy Lube didn't replace his oil filter (the dealership could tell because it was a Honda filter, and he'd gotten it changed at the dealership previously) and instead they had poked a hole through it. When I called to complain about this to Jiffy Lube the guy basically said they could do nothing about it now that we had taken it to another location to get it fixed. Then after I told him that the dealership had written up an explanation about how they found the filter, and that they could tell it was theirs, and that we even HAD the filter with us he basically said "someone will have to get in contact with you and then got off the phone." I stopped in here on my lunch break hoping for a quick oil change. To my delight it was not crowded at all, in fact I was the only one there, as the car in front was just being finished up. I was greeted by a group of friendly guys who took over in my car and led me to the waiting area. It was literally the fastest oil change I've EVER gotten. The "signature service" they also vacuumed your floors, clean the outside windows, top off fluids, and check tire pressure, etc. A great deal for $40 and some change. I love Jiffy Lube and I would most definitely come back to this location in the future. read more

Short wait. Low Price. Not-so-great service. If you just want your oil changed, not bad. But, if you want the full service oil change, chances are, you won't be getting what you paid for. I paid for all fluids to be checked and refilled. I left there, and the next day my windshield wiper fluid light came on. It was checked off on their check sheet, but obviously it wasn't really filled. When I called, they did offer to fill the windshield wiper fluid, but it wasn't worth the gas.
