I've been to this location a few times before. The staff is always friendly. This is one of the locations that usually doesn't seem to be as busy as the other locations. When I arrived, every bay was full. My oil change was completed in about 45 minutes. The waiting area was clean, but I was unimpressed by the coffee. They have a water dispenser, with cups, a jar of instant coffee, and a box of sugar on top - it appeared to be a little messy. The music/tv was quite load in the lobby as well. read more

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I took my car for an oil change. Not only did they leave the oil covered can on my front seat, staining it. When I went to change my oil I found they stripped the oil plug, and possibly cross threaded it. Now I get to bring it in to a mechanic to see what all I need to buy to fix the problems they created. I called this place to get estimate for an oil change and he said he couldn't do that and I would have to come inn. I knew this was incorrect as I've done this before with other jiffy lubes. After stating I had a coupon and wanted a rough estimate he said it would be close to 100 with the coupon applied for a 2003 Toyota Corolla. I've been to other jiffy lubes and I've never heard of such estimate. I asked for the price difference for full synthetic and conventional oil. And this snotty guy on the phone hung up on me. He cannot provide decent customer service and has an attitude the whole time and then hangs up. I would highly recommend corporate to look into the guy answering calls as he is pushing customers away rather than reeling them inn. My girlfriend went to get our oil changed and left something small of hers in the middle console right before the oil change and after the oil change service was complete she discovered it wasn't there. She searched all over the car but it doesn't just disappear so someone working took it. The guys working stated they didn't and have cameras but it was small and cameras have blind spots and let's be honest no one is going to admit they took something. We definitely won't be going back here and it sucks that people just can't be honest! read more

The gang that couldn't shoot straight. Driving by this location and decided to go in for a fast oil change and tire rotation, as my car was about 100 miles away from needing it's next service and I had some free time. The guy that took the keys was nice enough but things started to go downhill fast after I got into the waiting room / office. The person running the front could not log into the computer at first and after waiting for that to be resolved I was then guided through their list of "high mileage" oil types. I pointed out to the worker that the car had less than 35,000 miles on it and just needed a regular oil change and tire rotation and that the millage he had entered was off by 6,000 miles. Think being told about the two mistakes he had made so far set this guy off as his instant reply was "I'll fix the mileage when I cash you out and we can't rotate your tires, as they are bald." Tires were purchased less than six months ago and the tread is fine. After that we talked about getting the full synthetic oil package and after going through all that was then told "oh we are out, synthetic / blend is good enough." So an oil place that's out of oil? Bit odd if you ask me. But to top everything off after paying cash, my change was less than five bucks and they had no change. Already at my limit for "fun" at this place I told him not to worry about it and just let me have the car. He went on that he could not do that and said his manager went to the bank. He then had somebody else scrape up some cash. Not the experience one would want to repeat so definitely never going back. read more

So be careful when you do your oil change.. just wanted to do the oil change and get it done, one of the guys came in and ask if I want my air filter to be change and he showed me 2 different kind of filters. I always come to this location for my oil change. Today I went in and had the worst service ever. One of the guys was complaining he didnt want to work and the girl at the registered told him he could go back to cleaning dog poop again. They didnt even drive my truck out of the garage, he told me I could do it myself. I looked at my wiper fluid and noticed it was almost empty so I said" I thought you filled this", he just kinda looked dumb and filled it up. They lied and put on receipt I declined the vacuum which I did want and they never cleaned my windshield like they checked on the receipt. This is the worst excuse of a Jiffy Lube ever. I will never go back. Now I'm wondering if they really did change the oil or just put more in. Im going to get it checked and see. I need to find out who manages this location. Came here on Friday and opted for a tire rotation along with my oil change because I was leaving town the next day for a big road trip. An hour into my trip my front passenger tire exploded on a major highway. This tire was at most 6 months old. Luckily no one was injured. I brought it into a shop for a new tire to which the mechanic discovered two remaining tires had been put on backwards and his guess was that being the reason for the destroyed front tire. Out over $200 now with my life put at risk because these guys don't know what they're doing. Don't get your tires rotated here!! read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I had a coupon for 50% off, if they used conventional oil instead of synthetics. So I told them I wanted to get the 50%, which would have been the conventional oil. They used the synthetic oil instead, and the coupon. stated I would then get $26 off only. When I asked for the manager, a young 20ish looking snot nose kid showed up. I told him I wanted the other oil to get the 50% coupon. The total was $107. He then said, "if I could read, I would have seen the price difference". I said a few choice words, told him to go to hell, at which time he said, "he'd see me there". I have filed a complaint with Jiffy Lube corporate. Doubt it will do any good though. I was going to cancel the payment, but felt that would be wrong. The thing that bothered me the most, was the smirk on his face, the whole time he was disrespecting me as a customer. Never, and I mean never go to that particular Jiffy Lube. They are all independently owned, so maybe the others are better, I don't know. Showing the lack of respect this so called manager showed me, makes me wonder what the hell has happened to good customer service. Never again. These "professionals" yeah ok more like incompetent. Oil change was done on Saturday, never had any issues with any leaks. Today it was down to 2 quarts. Took it back and they stated that when oil was changed, the person changing it must had stripped the hole in the oil pan and now the screw just twist and does not tighten up. Their response to that was, we can't do nothing about it but just top it off. Also the manager on Saturday treated my daughter like she was trying to screw Jim out of money, because she had a coupon from the dealership stating oil changes with Jiffy Lube will be a certain amount. He stood there and try to talk down to my daughter. So my daughter went off on him the way he was to her. Do not judge a book by it's cover with this Jiffy Lube. I have used other locations before and thought they were all very similar, but this place is the only Jiffy Lube I plan on going to from now on. It doesn't look like much from the outside and I almost drove right passed it, but I'm glad I found it! Every employee was very professional, smiling and genuinely looked like they were having a good time. They were extremely helpful, were not pushy, and created a fun environment, which I didn't think was possible at a lube shop! The guy who helped me was very professional and let me know about all the possible discounts and coupon. You can tell they care about their job and are very service driven, as compared to money grabbers. I highly recommend this place and will service both my vehicles her from now on. read more

This is the most horrible jiffy lube I have ever been to first of all they told me I had a crack in my oil pan which was not the case I know what I'm doing with cars so I know there was no crack in my oil pan second of all I went in for an oil change yes I had JB weld on my oil pan but it has been there for a while they have done oil changes with the JB weld on there before this time they tried to tell me they couldn't do it because of the JD weld their service is just horrible they're not very friendly and they just try to soak you for money and I'm saying that because I know I had no crack in my oil pan it was a gasket in my oil filter housing so they were trying to charge me an arm and a leg for something that didn't even need to be fixed this place is just a horrible jiffy lube to go to I suggest not visiting it I don't even know how they are in business when they treat people the way they treat people they think people are dumb and they don't know what they're talking about well I know what I'm talking about when it comes to cars they just don't know that so they tried to get me for whatever they could get me for thinking I didn't know what I was talking about I hope you speak to your staff about better service honesty and treating people the right way read more

Came here on 6/5/17 for a simple oil change. Wait wasn't that bad but I felt they needed to rush me out to move to the next car.So when I was called to get my car and as usual they go through the steps to ensure everything is good, except the tech was not finished.My car already running and he forgets to connect the sensor back to the air filter box.That resulted in kicking on my check engine light with a few others came on as well.Needless to say I was not happy I had to take extra time out of my day to reset my sensors and make sure nothing was really wrong with my car because of their error.Don't think I will be back to this location. read more

I took my truck here for an oil change because i had a coupon, while I believe the work was done properly I am giving 2 stars for the lack of attention to detail. I did not receive a reminder sticker and the techs left oily hand prints all over the front of my white truck which I had to remove. I realize that Jiffy Lube is not a super high end shop but for over $100 I would expect my truck to be well taken care of. read more

I normally have wonderful service at Jiffy Lube and have had great service for the last twenty years till today. Due to COVID-19 they have you stay in your car. No problem. They scan and bring up your account as usual and I was asked if I would like the Signature Service. To which I replied yes. The service was performed and an amount, not a bill, was presented to me. I asked if they had checked the tire pressure, the tech responded "no". It was no longer allowed apparently. As a matter of fact the bill showed that I had declined the service after I had made payment. They also did not perform the following under the Signature Service option: 1) Vacuuming 2) Wash exterior windows 3) RESET MY OIL CHANGE WARNING LIGHT! All under the pretenses that they were not allowed in my car. The last time I checked the tires were on the outside of my car as well as the exterior windows. Will my warranty come under scrutiny because my engine light shows my oil was never changed? Fine, if you want to limit services under an advertised option and can not perform all said services then it should be presented to you with the ability to sign off on it. OR NOT! To bring it up when the bill is presented is just plain wrong and probably illegal in NV. I did not observe any face coverings being used at this location, but yet techs were within arms distance when receiving payment. If all services can not be performed under an encumbering package at advertised price, then an option should be offered before the services are performed. Shame on you Jiffy Lube! Especially at a time when fellow countrymen should pull together and not abuse our trust in one another. read more

DO NOT go here!!! I couldn't even make it home afterward without having to crawl my van to an Instant Lube to get fluids I was reassured were taken care of at this Jiffy Lube. First of all, let me say that yes, they were nice & acted like gentlemen at the shop - like the other 2 reviews gushed. BUT - That is where it ends. My mini-van's temperature gauge went into the red, beeped once & the light went on this afternoon. I didn't want to mess up the engine or anything, so I decided that I needed to stop at the closest place that took care of that kind of thing. I stopped at this Jiffy Lube basically out of desperation & figured that WHEN they tried to sell services & parts that I don't need, I would just decline. This is because, I stopped going to this (or any) Jiffy Lube a few years ago, because they succeed in selling me things I did not need. When I pulled in, I told the man what was happening and that I was also overdo for an oil change. He assured me that if I got this particular service, it would include taking care of the fluids that I was needing. I said something like, "So it DOES include checking the fluids that go with this gauge?" "Yes", he assured me again. I may not know much about car lingo, but I felt confident that this would be taken care of. Everything seemed to go smoothly even with the trying to sell me a filter for $18, which I declined. I was charged more than I expected, even with the $7 off deal they were having, but I figured that would be a likely scenario beforehand & felt it was most important to not mess up my engine. The man took me to my engine & showed me what he did & the level of the oil & all. I asked him about the fluid that caused my gauge to go into the red. He showed me where he put it in & said that it was completely empty when I came in. I even said, "So, I'm good to go now?" He said yes. Within seven minutes of driving away from Jiffy Lube, I noticed that my gauge was back up close to the red. I figured that maybe it takes a little bit for it all to cool down & I kept an eye on it. I parked for about 30 minutes for an errand & when I started out again, it was still up a bit & then started rising. This whole time, I was on surface streets & going about 35mph. But then...It went thoroughly in the red & was beeping repeatedly now. I crawled it a few miles to Instant Lube...hazard lights & all. I told them a shortened version of the above story & they took care of it as soon it cooled off enough...which actually wasn't THAT long. They checked for a leak & said that it was "bone-dry", so it hadn't leaked out. A manager came over & asked how long it has been since I got the fluids checked. The other 2 men & I said in unison, "Today". He was shocked, too. I showed them my receipt & they were surprised that they even charged me $5.99 for topping off the coolant when theirs is included with the oil change. When I finally arrived home, I called Jiffy Lube & asked for the manager. He assured me that I was speaking to him. He said that his name was Jeremy. I explained to him what had taken place & he remembered me. He said that they do not open that cap, because you have to wait for it to cool enough to do it & that what they do is just "top it off". I reminded him that when I arrived, I told them about the temperature gauge, was assured it would be checked out, etc. He basically just kept repeating (in a variety of words) that they do not open that cap. I kept my cool & the worse thing I said was the word, "cruddy"...as in, "that is just a cruddy thing to do". I informed him that I am a blogger & have a decent-size following on Twitter. Not huge, but big "enough". Still not even one "I'm sorry", an offer for a free top off later, my $5.99 back for the "topping off of the coolant" or ANYTHING. I asked why they didn't even try to SELL me the service I came in for....you know....the fact that my temperature gauge was in the red... and that was the whole reason for me being there... They tried to sell me an unneeded air filter and told me of more advanced services that I should look into soon. He again said something about it would take too long, because it would have to cool down. I asked why they didn't have me pull my van out of their way (regardless of the fact that there was plenty of room) & tell me that it would take longer. I assured him that I would have waited & even though I would have felt like I was being taken advantage of...I would have paid to get what was needed. He said something again about how they just top it off. I then asked, "Why didn't they at least mention that I should check that out, because they don't open the cap, etc?" Again...blah blah blah. There was no use continuing to talk to him, so I simply hung up. Still.... not even one sorry or show of understanding. read more

I've been using Jiffy Lube for many year to get regular oil changes and smogs -and my experience at the 1305 Sullivan Ln, Sparks location is it. What happened: The day I got my oil change, I sitting in the lobby with a guy who had been there the day before. Apparently they did not screw his oil filter down and over night it had leaked all over his driveway. He was "hot". I thought he was overreacting, when he was going on about having to clean his driveway and buy oil just to drive in to return... and then it happened to me. For the last few days I've been smelling some burning. I thought it was just some over-spill burning off. Then I noticed some small puddles that I thought was air conditioner condensation. Last night I went to a neighbor's house and when I walked out we both noticed a track of drips in and a huge puddle of oil under my truck. I checked and had no oil. I had to get a ride to an Autozone to get enough to leave his driveway (after confirming that my oil filter was rattling around). Today, when I went back the "manger" and complained, this little blond sh**head said, "What would you us to do about it? A top off? If you've already tightened it, there's not much we can do." I said, "an apology would be nice..." and he just looked at me unconvincingly, "sorry" and shrugged. When I got to work, I noticed drips in and out, and a puddle where I parked from yesterday... now I have to clean this parking lot too. Jiffy lube cost me money (re-buying the oil that they put in, and my time and frustration), and I was embarrassed at leaking all over my neighbor's driveway and having to ask him for a ride to get more oil. To the blond kid that's the "manager" at the Jiffy on Sullivan Ln Sparks location... Well son, you just lost a customer -for ever. And, not just for your location, all of them. I'm also going to complain about your incompetence all over the internet as well. I have literally been a customer for a over decade...well done. read more

Rob is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I (as well as our kitty) were driving from Maine to California and with only 3 1/2 hours left to our destination. We stopped at a nearby gas station for gas and food and unknowingly locked the keys in our car! (With our precious cat inside!) Being the crazy cat lady I am I panicked. My husband ran across the street to Jiffy Tube to ask for assistance. Thankfully, he was able to talk to Ian and in turn Ian was able to talk to his boss Rob an without any cost, he walked back over to our car and was able to pry the door and unlock the car free of charge and without any damage or scratches. Horrible horrible service. My boyfriend went to go get an oil change and while they were changing it the filter cap broke and what was told to him was "my boss broke a part but don't worry we'll take care of it" there is debate whether this employee told him it would be free but to my understanding and to my bfs understanding that's what was said. When he paid he was charged the part. My BF was late to work so he just signed, paid, and left. I called in today to see if I could get some sort of explanation and/or refund. The woman who picked up the phone was very nice and said she didn't know about the situation but would pass it to her manager. I heard her explaining the situation to the manager and I could hear the annoyance in his voice. Joseph, I believe it was, picked up the phone and straight off the bat was already speaking to me very harshly. Voice full of attitude, speaking over me, very passive aggressive. I have worked in customer service so I always try to be respectful and remain calm, and I was so I was very confused as to why he was cutting me off and just trying to dismiss what I was saying and get rid of me. In the end he asked me what I wanted him to do and I asked for, if anything, a partial refund especially after the treatment he gave me over the phone. He said he would be able to give me $5 off a next oil change, to which I told him that I would obviously never return. He told me to take it up with corporate then and just hung up. We brought our Dodge Ram 1500 in for an oil change and tire rotation. They were aware of the type of vehicle and we were told there was no problem. Fortunately my husband is smart and numbered his tires to make sure they were rotated. When we went to pick the vehicle we noticed the tires were never rotated. Of course, we were still charged. The receptionist asked the crew if they rotated the tires and they said no, because they didn't have a lift big enough for our vehicle. Why they didn't mention this in the beginning, I'm really not sure. Of course the charges were removed but it just made me think of how many people don't realize their tires aren't being rotated or other services that aren't being done and you are being charged for. So word of advice, number your tires and always check!! read more

I had the oil and fuel filter changed. They were very sweet and considerate. However I quickly noticed that my fuel filter still showed percentage on the dash. So I called and was told they forgot to reset it. But when I got home my husband looked and saw the same NAPA fuel filter that he had replaced last time. We called to see what filters they use. Right, it isn't NAPA. I am done with Jiffy Lubes. This is the second attempt. read more

I went here because I had been before and had great service. I decided that this was the best in Sparks and was going to be a "regular". I was happy to see there was only 1 other car and thought I would be in for a fast oil change. I was directed inside and shown the bathroom, water machine, coffee, etc. The other cars owner was being looked after and the nice guy who took me in said it would be a minute before I saw the manager. I sat down and waited. The manager finished up with customer #1 and went into the shop without saying anything. Something like "I will be with you in a minute?" More waiting, about 8 minutes. I went around the front to see what was happening and I was still parked outside but Customer #1 was being serviced by 4 employees with the manager supervising. I decided they did not have time for me and left. DO NOT GO HERE. I don't know what happened to the manager from my first visit but hope I can find another like him. I can say that it will not be at Jiffy Lube. read more
