OIL CHANGE 2014 X1 I want to recommend this Jiffy Lube, but I cannot. I watched the tech struggle over 50 minutes. no communication at all. I expected to see my dipstick before and after the oil change discussion about fluid levels and tire pressure. Almost an hour I sat in the car wondering. Super slow, requested high mileage oil. They put regular oil in. This is the 2nd time jiffy line has done this. The one down I. Mt. Pleasant did the same thing. They try and play it off as all oil is the same, but that wasn't what was requested. Bate and switch technique. It took so long to change the oil 1 hour 20min. Would not recommend going to this location, or probably any jiffy lube for that matter. I had gotten an oil change around April 2023 from this location and everything was ok until I had about 1,500 miles lift before a new one. At this time the oil filter had come began to leak because it was not screwed in all the way. I was physically able to reach in an twist the filter with a smallest amount of force necessary, it was literally hanging on by a a couple threads, so we go to the store for an oil change (July 2023). While getting the oil change I attempted to use a coupon, but the associates told me it was unable to be used for some reason when the coupon came from an email directly from Jiffy Lube. Fast forward not even a month (August 2023) the oil filter is leaking yet again for the same exact reason as the first time, the oil filter was loose. There is no way they even touched the filter let alone change it, anybody who has ever changed oil knows this. I also have a brother who has had a terrible experience with this location just a week prior in August 2023. The location was having problems with the oil delivery system which is understandable. However, what is not acceptable is the associates out the incorrect oil in his car WITHOUT letting him know. The only reason he knew this is because of the receipt after he had already left the shop. These associates either do not care about their job, do not know how to do their job, or just flat out don't care about their jobs. Specifically these individuals are Johnathan S. and Nelson C. Both of which were present during both of their experiences. This was a terrible experience that has deterred me from EVER going to another Jiffy Lube location as I will be using a dealership from now on. If you plan on going to Jiffy Lube I WOULD NOT go to this location on Main Street, if you do go here ask for ANYONE ELSE but Johnathan S. and Nelson C. Again if he do use this Jiffy Lube location I would double check every thing they do/look at/touch. A 1 star review was a generous review, the real review is 0 stars. I took my truck (2015 King Ranch) to have the oil changed and the service at the time was great. After a couple of days I started to see drips and spots of oil on my driveway. I went back only to be told that there was over fill collected on the plans underneath and was told they would clean it up. I was given a bottle of driveway cleaner and told that if I didn't use it up he'd like it back. Needless to say these drips continued and the spots on my driveway grew. I finally was able to go back to them with a piece of cardboard that I placed under the truck and showed them the leak from just one night. They pulled the truck in and had me go into the waiting room. As he went under the truck I can hear him speaking out loud. The sentence that caught my attention the most was that the OIL FILTER was NOT tightened all the way! They did a great job cleaning it up and redoing the oil change (which is what I expected since it lost oil) and I thanked the guy for doing what should have been done when I went back the first time time. I then showed him pictures of my driveway and stated that I would like them to have it cleaned as it had no oil stains on it prior and that I am putting the house in the market. He explained he would have to make a call and asked for my pictures. I sent them and he forwarded to his manager and stated that the district manager would be in touch. It's a week later and I haven't heard from anyone. Not happy with feeling blown off. Here we are January 10 and the only response was the standard response requesting me to jump through hoops with the responder whom I presume is not even local. I requested a response from the dm whom I was told I would hear from and to this date nada nothing. Thanks Jiffy Lube for showing that you don't care about your customers when you screw up. read more

An employee of the Jiffy Lube in Summerville on Main Street has decided that he felt it necessary to service his friend before taking us. We arrived at 0745, 15 minutes prior to them opening at 0800. While the other individual arrived at 0810. I won't name names, seeing as how this is happening as I'm typing this review, but you know who you are. Update: By random chance, I found myself at the Jiffy Lube after the other shop claimed JL had made an error the last time they serviced my vehicle. It took a good bit of insistence on my part, but long story short is that JL fixed the problem, was able to change my oil and apologized for yesterday's unprofessional phone call. They also discounted my service as a good faith gesture, which I great appreciated. While I still believe that this location is quite understaffed and could benefit greatly from a deep clean and customer area remodel, I'm good with increasing my rating to reflect today's much better experience. read more

7/25/21 Buyer beware went in for a conventional oil change they tried to upsell me to $100 synthetic oil change that I didn't need telling me it was recommended by Nissan .Nissan to this point has done all but one of my services. I ask for a conventional oil change same as they did last time when my husband was with me it was $48, this time they charged me $78. NOT an HONEST business for a female to go alone. I've been to this Jiffy Lube a few times. You can't really say much about a Jiffy Lube. I will say the folks here have always been nice. They've always done a good job with my car, and I've had no problems. The waiting room and the restrooms leave a lot to be desired. I've never had to wait very long here. All-in-all it isn't a bad experience. Just don't touch anything while you're waiting. read more

waited an hour to have my inspection done, walked in to speak with man at counter and he told me it would be just a minute. several minutes later, I asked again, same reply. other customer left and he was way after my car. went up and asked again, as my car was sitting in front, he stated the other person forgot to put my car in. he had me sitting there for 15 minutes as he gave instructions to another employee at a desk, instead of helping me. $140 for a mobile one synthetic oil change! An up charge of $60 for mobile one this is crap won't go back again this place is a rip off! And this was after groupon discounts! I Will take my car to the mobile one service center in Loveland and get it done for under $100. The manager said mobile one is a lot more expensive when they buy it in bulk! I would think it would be cheaper then buying a carton at Walmart since your buying it in bulk! 5 qts at Walmart costs under $25 maybe the company needs to just clean out their local Walmart's and pass the savings to the customers! read more

Huge thank you and 10 out of 10 score for Martin. He saved my day and my sanity. My 8 year old and I were traveling from Jacksonville to Charleston when it started to rain badly. Before I left home I had my local Jiffy Lube change both my windshield wipers and check all my fluids. Somehow during the trip , my windshield wipers malfunctioned. Definitely scary and no fun when traveling with a child by yourself. 10 minutes to closing, I called the shop and Martin answered. He told me to pull right into the back and he'd wait on me. In the pouring rain, he fix the defective wiper blade, had a great attitude and definitely kept me from panicking. Worst experience ever! Told guy i just Got my windows tinted and to not roll my window down and he does anyways and messes my tint up, then gets oil all over the inside and outside of my new truck! Employees acted like they didn't wanna be there and were very rude, had oil stains all over my hood including a big spot of grease along with it all over my drivers door and front fender! Then they said it was $91 for a full synthetic oil change which is just crazy so i said no I'll go else where and they acted as if it was a problem and slammed my hood shut and slammed my truck into park pulled it out the bay! Very disappointed and will never go back to a jiffy lube again.. now i know why they only had 3 customers! Piss poor service for sure! read more
