I believe I was significantly overcharged for a battery. I googled the cost of the same battery for my make, model, and year of car. It was over $100 less than I was charged. I showed the technician and he made some excuse about a 7yr warranty. He said he would give me a 10% discount which was still significantly higher than the prevailing cost. I asked if that was the best he could do and he shrugged me off. The manager was in ear shot but failed to intervene. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Avoid this location at all costs. I've never in my life encountered such an appalling lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service as I did during my recent visit to this Jiffy Lube. I came in for a simple oil change. While still parked in the service bay, one of the mechanics took my debit card to process payment. Not even five minutes later, they had somehow lost it... Right there on site. What should've been a routine service turned into a full-blown, hour-long nightmare. I waited patiently while they "looked" for the card. No updates. No urgency. Just me sitting there, growing more frustrated, watching time pass. Eventually, I tried to assist in the search. I asked the same mechanic who lost my card to remove the lid from the trash can so I could look inside. Instead of cooperating, he became visibly irritated and yelled at me in front of my young son, saying he was already looking for it, as if that excused his blatant carelessness or unprofessional behavior. At that point, I requested to speak with the store manager, hoping someone in a leadership position might take the situation seriously. Unfortunately, the manager was either incapable or unwilling to communicate -- offering nothing but robotic, scripted apologies with no real resolution or accountability. Still needing answers, I asked for the District Manager. Shockingly, the DM's demeanor was just as dismissive and unhelpful. Offering no solutions and showing zero concern over the fact that a customer's debit card was lost inside their business due to employee negligence. With no card, no action plan, and no one taking responsibility, I ultimately had no choice but to call the police to file a report. Even then, I left without my card and without a single shred of meaningful customer service. Do not bring your vehicle here. If you're expecting professionalism, attention to detail, or even basic human decency. Look elsewhere!! This location has proven that they are not only careless, but entirely unequipped to handle conflict or provide even the most fundamental level of customer care. read more

Not only that but were very dishonest about pricing adding things i didn't ask for and uncharging. asked for an oil change brought all my own oil and filters and they still up charged me for an extra quart. not cool at all. read more

My experience at the Fowler Jiffy Lube was wonderful. All of the employees were courteous and helpful. This was the second location that I have visited this year. Since I had such a positive experience the 1st time, I wanted to make sure the mechanic who worked on my car David A. was still at the location. The gentleman who answered the phone was so helpful and told me he was working at the Fowler location, so I went to the Fowler shop. Tamiko the manager greeted me upon my arrival. He was good natured and helpful. David A. also needed to change air filter, transmission fluid, put air in tires, add coolant and antifreeze. I left assured that they had taken care of everything my car needed. I will be returning to the Fowler location when my car needs to be serviced. Thank you. read more

It's the worst JL I have ever had work on my car. It took them over four days to attempt to order a tire for my vehicle. They never got the tire and would send me out with 15 PSI on my tires. The manager is unacceptable for leading his team and giving direction on what's going on. I was told every day that the tire would be in the next day and that I would get a call at the end of the day. Neither happened. This place is a joke! read more

I thought my car was leaking oil, went to the S. Dale Mabry, Tampa location. WOW!!! What a great team they have! Sean was very patient with all my questions and concerns and very kind to put me at ease. Sean and his crew took the time to look under my car to make sure that there was no leak, looked in the reservoir to make sure the stick came back at the level it needed to be. It looks like the company I hired to change the oil last didn't bother to clean the pan. Seriously, if you need a quick oil change go to this location. You will not be disappointed. I was searching for a cheaper oil change for my Chevy Express Cargo work van......on the internet were coupons and Groupons for Jiffy Lube...... the Group On was ...closet was 1513 E Fowler.....and the price was $19.99.....which is 55% off regular price. I called to set appointment time....and to see if I needed the Group On coupon or if I could use cell phone pic (posted below.) Person answering phone corrected me and told me "Group On was 40% off and price was $26.99." I told him I was on Group On website and it CLEARLY SHOWS PRICE $19.99. Again , he argued and insisted I was misinformed! Nothing exceptional and nothing bad to report. They got me in and out within the hour and did the usual "We can replace this... top this off... add this... upgrade this... for X amount more." They weren't super pushy when I declined everything. I came in for a standard oil change and they were not busy at all. I was the only one there when I first arrived. I was on my way within the hour. With the Groupon, I paid about 30$ total for them to change my oil and vacuum my car. Employees were friendly and the waiting area inside was a nice enough place to hang out while they work on your car. Don't trust this place. Don't trust Tamiko. I came in for an oil change because I needed my oil changed before I traveled. I was told I needed to do more maintenance to my car for my safety. I was charged over 700$ and they finished within 30 minutes. I looked into everything that I had done and it should have taken 6-8 hours. Even if they have multiple people working on the car, 30 minutes just doesn't add up because there were barely any workers in the shop to start with. I had later traveled far to another car shop where I've been before and they told and showed me that the people at jiffy's lube didn't even touch the pieces that they were supposed to replace. This place will take advantage of you and lie to you. And I know I'm not the only one who's gone through this. I brought this issue up to them it took them a lot of asking for me to finally talk to the manager and he said to bring my car back. But why would I bring my car back to people who cannot be trusted. read more

Fantastic service and very polite. They were open 8 minutes early and gladly led us inside. We were put in and done within 15 minutes; the only customers there. They even rolled out the red carpet for us! Recommend to everyone who has no idea what they're doing and a good chunk of change to spend... Now if you like to read, here's our full experience: Funny story... We have a Honda Civic, but receive a paper and explanation from the guy that our '07 Lexus has no check engine or errors, but we need an alignment, new back tires, and all new air filters. For his information, the check engine light IS on, and we know what the specific error code is. Our alignment is FINE... tires FINE... the whole paper is NOT FOR OUR CAR. He read this to us to "let us know" that there was some stuff needing to be changed. LOL Never get air filters changed unless they are FILTHY. I chuckled at his statement, "the air filter is negatively affecting your gas mileage"... yeah, we do the math every time we fill up, if it does, it's by about -0.25 mpg! read more

These guys are awesome. I had my oil changed here a month or so ago...it was a great experience. They said my rear brakes needed to be done, but I declined. Yesterday my brakes started to sound terrible. I went today to see if they could still do the job for the quoted amount. They ordered the parts...had them delivered...and had the full brake job done within an hour for the original quoted amount. Best service EVER. I came here for an oil change and they did a great job! They had me in and out of there within 15min. Not only were they friendly but they also were able to add air to my tires. They noticed that my front break pads needed to be changed soon, so they gave me an estimate and let me go on my way. Great customer service without being too pushy. When we lived in CA we would go to Jiffy lube for our routine oil changes and was never disappointed. Our car was long over due for an oil change and decided to come here. As soon as we pulled in they were very welcoming and friendly and worked on our car right away. We waited in there waiting room which had lots of chairs, a tv, lots of different magazines, and even a Keurig coffee maker if you wanted to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea. Our car was finished in less than 30 minutes, maybe even less. Before I went into my car they even pulled out a red carpet for me to step on- I'M NOT KIDDING! They have fast and great service and I will come back. TIP: Also, you should go on there website to see what coupons they have available.
