I came during my lunch break and was serviced for an oil change by Ty. He was very nice, thorough, and helpful!

Cedric is THE MAN. This gentleman definitely went above and beyond during the service of my work truck. The whole team here seems to work together in synchrony and they had my vehicle serviced very quickly and were able to explain a few things that also needed to be done to the truck, without making me feel like they were trying to take advantage or do extra work for no reason. Over all, fair prices for quality work. This is the only place we will be having our company trucks serviced for routine maintenance. read more

Take 5? more like take 50! hahahahahahahahaaha. not kidding. one of the employees is very enthusiastic about his job, but it takes away from the companies name when he spends 20 mins talking to the guy in front of me. i've finally reached the part where the oil change happens, and the guy tells me with his hands to turn something, usually you'd think in a car that means turn the car on (he did an unlocking motion) but no, that actually meant pop the hood. he did ensure we had water to stay hydrated! finally got to the end. was quite the journey. This was my first time at a Take 5 location and based on my experience at this branch it will be my last. They read the information on my interior door frame and still over-inflated my tires, causing a potential safety issue and requiring me to manually adjust each tire myself. They told me that the oil used for the standard $55 oil change would not last long and that I should upgrade to the $95 service. Finally, the few wipes of my windshield did not qualify as cleaning the windshield as advertised. Overall, a frustrating experience! read more

The staff is very knowledgeable and gave me great service for the money charged. They even found that I was missing a cap for my brake fluid reservoir. Unfortunately I've had to order it from the dealer but if it wasn't for them I never would've known it. Good job! read more

Just came here to get my oil changed watched another lady have the exact same problem next to me where her battery died and then my battery immediately stopped working right after. They spent over 30 minutes, trying to fix hers to just push her out to do the exact same thing to me. I didn't have my lights on or my air conditioning radio, etc. during the oil change or prior. I've never had this sort of problem literally just watched. It happened in front of me to the person and then happen again to me. They didn't fix it. They didn't even try. I literally paid double what I normally pay my oil change person to come here because it was a Sunday. Don't ever come here. They will wreck your car. I know they had to unhook the battery so apparently something that they're doing is incorrect. read more

This company is bad. I took my car and the previous Take 5 oil change in Howard damaged my oil filter. They tighten it so hard that they couldn't remove it to put a new one. The manager promised me he was going to help me. When got there he "acted" as if he was helping me..to make the story short. I went to my next oil change on the Take 5 oil change location between Hillsborough and Amelia and they also acted as if they changed the oil. Anyhow, it affected my Toyota and took it to a real mechanic and he told me that the oil filter housing had to be change completely. Needless to say, I will never go to this lousy oil change place they are liars and crooked. Do not go there you really don't know what they do under your car as you wait. read more

This location TRIES to screw you over. Just go to that one near USF. I want to go back there and scream at the workers ... but it must be the owners fault. They probably don't even know if you need a new air filter or windshield wipers. lol my air filter was PERFECT and I tested my windshield wipers after I rejected the offers. LIARS! GO TO THE ONE NEAR USF AND MIDNIGHT COOKIE! I supposedly got a coupon but even the coupon the guy gave me just wasn't deducting like it should, until I checked my bank lol. they also complained about customers working. lol. sad. what about people who WANT a job but can't get one? my job requires me to stay late some days and I have absolutely no issue at all. My only complaint is that I couldn't leave a tip paying via card!!! These guys are amazing at what they do and are such a pleasure to interact with. I brought my dog because I couldn't leave her home, and she got so much love and attention. They gave her treats and even sent me home with a hand full. My car is embarrassingly dirty on the outside and they gave me 4 free car wash coupons as well. The ONLY place I will ever get my oil changed. 10/10 recommend. read more

Great service! Offered a bottle water and the girl explained everything step by step. I got a fully synthetic oil change and new wiper blades. Was an awful experience that I have ever had! I went there, and there was no line, and then it gets busy and multiple people went before me. I finally get seen and it takes 45mins, and as I look at my receipt I saw it say tires were checked, and I said you never did that and they said oh I'll do that right now. There lists are pre-checked and printed! After that awful experience I went to head home and I hear this loud scraping, and I go back and discovered they never reattached my plastic cover under my car. And the fact that they proceeded to tell me that there are only two screws.... well they were all there when I arrived. And all they did was ZIPTIE my car back together! I am MORTIFIED, and so annoyed, and charged me $80.... If you care about your car DO NOT TAKE IT TO TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE!!!! read more

Pulled in 4:32pm on this Sunday afternoon. Say in car for a moment and realized all the employees were on the their cars. One approached my window and let me know "the oil pumps are down" conveniently 25 minutes before close. I would have to come back tomorrow. I had a great experience at this Take 5! I had the Manager Chris who was lovely and had the oil change done in a timely matter, even thought they were busy. Very cheerful team, did not try to up sell me and all in all made a choir something a little more pleasant! Will go back again and recommend to people living in the area! read more

I love the Citrus Park location but this one kind of ticked me off. I pulled in and asked the young man if they were doing the First Responder Discount. He said no but we are doing $10.00 off and it's the same thing. That's not true. The discount I get at Citrus Park is 25%. On a full synthetic oil change that's over $20 off. I change the oil in 3 cars so it's mutually worth it. Then he said: but you'll have to come back because we are closed. I said okay, no problem. As I was pulling away, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him directing a car in. It was 4:10pm on Sunday June 7th after hours. None of this is a big deal, I just detect a little bit of an honesty problem here and that's a red flag for me. read more
