Would absolutely not recommend. I spent over a hour completely locked in by other cars for an 8 min oil change. Customer service and communication is virtually nonexistent. They had two people working on three lanes of cars one at a time. One person was working other one was loitering around. So irritated trying to get this service done in a limited amount of time. Stayed texting on his phone next to my car window before acknowledging me Then had an attitude when I told him my tire pressure was a little low "I don't do that" is his response then he walked away. On August 11th, 2023 around 11am; my partner and I went to Take 5 to get an Oil Change on Fowler Store #309 in Tampa (Temple Terrace) Florida...WE got our Audi Q5 Vehicle Sabotaged and we were called "Fags" Had our oil replaced with what Express Oil and Tire of Seffner, FL called "Dirty Diesel Oil" and were even shorted a few quarts got charged $96.08 for all this...The staff got belligerent, rude and didn't do the work told us to leave when we had our dash warning lights flashing...Costing us Thousands of dollars and much needed time See attached supporting documents...The car before all this was running fine and checked out by service people where we purchased it in Hudson FL read more

Avoid this company like the plague! They overtightened my oil filter on a previous visit and therefore could not remove it on a recent visit for an oil change. Manager told me that he opened a case and that they would be in touch to send me to a local mechanic to remove at no cost to me. This happened over 2 weeks ago, and no one has ever contacted me despite me calling and leaving multiple messages for store and central customer service in Charlotte over the past 2 weeks. We were welcomed with water by Keyshawn and waited a couple minutes before pulling in. I wonder why this place is called take 5 when we were there for over 30 minutes. Keyshawn was kind and explained every step to us. We ended up getting the full synthetic, new filter, new plug, and tires inflated. He even cleared the alerts on the car and those small details go a long way. Thank you Keyshawn for answering all our annoying questions and laughing with us. read more

If I could leave less stars, I would. I made an appointment this afternoon for an oil change to go at 6 PM after I got off work. I got off early and got there around 5:30 PM and figured I would wait anyway but didn't expect to be parked at 6:30?? I fully understand businesses get busy but why even have an appointment option if you're not honoring them. But wait, there's MORE. After I was parked I spoke with "Cedrick" who CONTINUOUSLY flirted with and harassed me, calling me "baby" and just really wouldn't let up. We spoke about price and what I wanted and I picked the oil change for $85 (knowing that it would be an extra $10 for any extra quarts). However, come time to pay it turns out to be $107?? I, again, fully understand and knew the price of my oil change and the stipulations but it would've been nice to have been notified ahead of time if I'd be paying $20 more than expected. I love the service that I received from store #309....Lauree greeted me when I arrived with an amazing smile, and offered bottled water before starting the procedure with my car. He was very knowledgeable about the services that were offered there, has a great personality, and he really made my day. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I have been to many Take 5's before, but this is the only one where it actually took 5 minutes. The efficiency of the team, the communication between everyone working on all the different bays, it was like watching a well-oiled machine. And lest I forget to mention Darryl - he's the man!!! We live out of state and our daughter goes to college in Tampa. She has a 2004 Camry and we have always used conventional oil. The tech 'Maurice' INSTITED that she had to used full synthetic and said that "using regular oil is like putting sand paper in your engine". Way to rack up the bill for college students! Honestly, I'd recommend just to go to the dealership because when Take 5 on Fowler Ave changed my cabin filter after the oil they messed up my blower motor and now by whole car shakes when I turn the AC up. The dispute center refuses to fix it saying I can't prove it was them even though I didn't have the issues before and I do now the moment after they changed it..... Dealership is cheaper than them, and they fix issues that they create and do a better check over than Take 5 Over priced and lack of follow 10/10 don't recommend read more

I came here when they first opened around 7am and they said there computers where down. Came later on in the day and I waited for over an 2 hours in line without anyone providing an update on what is taken so long. Seems to me that they either don't staff that are trained or they are just lazy. It doesn't take an hour to change and oil so I'm not sure what the issue is but I will NEVER return to this take 5 oil at all. There is a tires plus next door who can have you in and out if you want a oil change. read more

I called ahead at 6:15 before coming in to make sure they would take me since they close at 7. I was told yes they would take cars until 7. Arrived at 6:20, waited 35 mins and then they told me they couldnt take me because they were closing. I declined to leave since I called ahead and was told to come in After waiting over an hour and being ignored because the techs obviously did not want to work, the "manager" told me they were out of oil and to come back tomorrow. I went to a different location to get an oil change and they seemingly did a good job, but my maintenance required was still showing on my screen in my car and I had to come back to have them reset it at this location, waited in line for 30 minutes in the heat.
