Wow, what an amazingly honest place. I just stopped in to get my air filter replaced because my air hasn't been working right and I thought that was the issue. They were swamped but Joanna (customer service advisor) made time to come out and help me since it was a quick replace. After taking it out, she told me the filter was not the problem and showed me that it didn't need to be changed. I feel like every time I go into an oil change place they try to sell me on air filters, and 5 other services that I don't need. Here was a place that could have easily changed my filter (because I asked them to) but instead of doing so, were honest and told me that it didn't need to be changed! So refreshing and just made me a customer for life! On top of that, Joanna gave me tips on what the issue might be, who might be able to fix it, and had an amazing attitude about it all! Have come here since I moved to the area two years ago. Joy usually checks me in. She is always friendly, efficient, and consultative. Other employees have been the same. They don't push a lot of extra services like it seems most places do, so with them I don't mind actually adding to the order and paying a little more (realizing I would never actually get around to changing my wiper blades without their reminders). 2 days after they advised I should flush and fill power steering fluid, the power steering pump failed. When I took it to Honda I was told there is no regular need to change that fluid, but also that the fluid was "black" which it should not be, and that they either put in the wrong fluid or didn't bleed it properly leading to this expensive repair. I'm particularly annoyed by having trusted their advice on the scheduled (24 months I think they said) replacement of this fluid that the dealer says never needs to be replaced. 2/18/2018: I sent the information to the email address provided below by Jiffy Lube. I just had my Toyota Sienna serviced at the Vienna, VA location (Maple Ave), and I wanted to extend a compliment for Lavina, the lady who took care of me. She was very professional, courteous, polite and easy to understand. I really appreciated talking to a woman, rather than a man. She gave me enough time to contact my husband and ask him about some of the work needed to be done. DO NOT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE!!! They are horrible and have a bunch amateurs working on your cars. I come to find my oil pan is leaking and cost $500 to repair because they threaded my oil pan from not putting it back on correctly, resulting in a slow leak. Needless to say, I did not have them repair it and even though ALL my oil changes were done there and proven with receipts, they took no responsibility. Needed a light replaced...the moron mechanic almost broke a part off until I insisted they get someone who knew what he was doing to get to the rear brake light. The manager is one of the most incompetent individuals I have ever seen. The Jiffy Lube on Route 50 and 123 is a much better option with great service. read more

The customer service is great! However, I'm not there for a smile, I'm there for my car, and if a service is recommended and priced by them, I expect them to be able to do it. The installed a serentine belt and it snapped exactly one-week later while I was driving. The damage it caused to the engine took $1,000 to repair. Luckily I was granted a refund for the belt, but they blammed the damage on another issue and didn't offer any assistance because "we don't do that." Oh, and I had my oil changed there a month prior and fluids were NOT topped-off as they always claim. My winsheild washer fluid was bone dry. read more

I had issues with my car not starting due to issues with the battery and other things. They were extremely helpful and not to mention efficient. They called around to parts stores for me for parts they didn't have and were genuinely caring. They didn't try to rip me off for being a female. Also quick with the oil change. I went in for an oil change yesterday and was helped by Joanne. From the moment I pulled up, she was completely up front about the estimated cost and wait time. When it came to reviewing what actually needed to be done, she was extremely helpful in explaining the difference between specific things and definitely did NOT try to up sell me or charge me for unnecessary services. I have been to this Jiffy Lube many times over the last several years and I'm sorry to say how disappointed I am after having good experiences. The last few times I have been I have left angry and disappointed, especially today. I stopped before work to get an oil change and once again they weren't listening to me and insisted I had to go with the more expensive option.I have been to other Jiffy Lube locations and I know that was not the only option available. Also my tire pressure light was on and remained on when I left. I would have turned back today but I had to get to work. Although it says they set the pressure on my tires clearly they did not. I won't be returning to this location and will probably find somewhere else to get my car serviced. read more

I went there today to get my prelude oil change. The car is very low and modified and not a lot of places do cars like this but they were able to get it on the lift and do the change in 10 minutes. As unexciting as car maintenance can be, Vienna Jiffy Lube makes it as painless as possible. I have gone to this location many times and they are always quick, courteous, and explain exactly what they are doing. They bring you up to their computer to let you know what service is recommended by the manufacturer and keep record of what you have already had done before. I never feel pressured to get service that isn't necessary at the moment. Since I know very little about cars, I have felt taken advantage of in the past, but I have never felt that way here. Since my car's 10 year/100,000 warranty expired, I go to Jiffy Lube every 3-4,000 miles to get my car serviced. They keep computerized records that you see and review with the service advisor. I love the transparency -- you feel like you're getting service that you need. Car dealers could learn something from Jiffy Lube's procedures. Subaru drivers beware! I have taken my '11 Outback there more than a dozen times, and somehow, some way, even if you admonish them to REPLACE the plug when they change the oil, they don't do it. The result: a driveway full of oil. Go back and complain and they will tell you "Oh, yeah. you have a Subaru." A couple of shrugs and some excuses and then you're on your way. Then, in a moment of weakness months down the road, you get a coupon, or it's convenient, and you think they'll get it this time. You know better, but you roll in anyway and ask them if they're really really going to do it this time. They assure you they will. They won't. At $95 for a full synthetic oil change, they can afford to put a new oil pan plug in...but they won't until you come back and complain. Mind you, they will spend an exorbitant amount of time trying to strike fear in your heart about the state of your wiper blades and air filter, and while you're at it, they'll buff your headlight covers and rotate your tires. Or how about a new serpentine belt and nitrogen for your tires? My point here is that this place could be a four star joint if they would only focus on getting their bread and butter service right, THEN working on the upsells. Go somewhere else, get better service and save money. Avoid this place. read more

Our nanny took our Toyota Minivan there on 19 March 2014, to get a conventional oil change only. Not being from the US, they tricked her in to getting a synthetic Oil change (88.99) {synthetic oil for a minivan, you got to be kidding me), a tire rotation (28.99) {the van has new tires], cabin air filter (49.99), air filter (31.99), TX7 Engine treatment (29.99) [Not even sure what that is] and a fuel system cleaning (99.99) [another unneeded service]. Nothing like getting a bill for 342.31 instead of one for 30.00. I even sent Jiffy Lube an email, but no response. I will never take either of my cars to a Jiffy Lube again. Go to another shop or your dealer, these guys will fleece you if given the chance. read more

Although I was initially satisfied with the quick service that Jiffy Lube provided, I later realized that they did not put back or replace my cabin air filter. They took it out as a part of their routine "check," misplaced it somehow and neglected to put another one (or preferably the original) in before letting me leave. Luckily, it wasn't my engine air filter that they made the mistake with, which would have been much more costly and dangerous. I only include this because this exact scenario happened to my colleague after visiting Jiffy Lube. If they would have put this filter back in, I would have provided a much better rating because the service seemed to be great. It is extremely hard to overlook such a mistake when it is a part of their normal routine. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location. read more

This Jiffy Lube is great! The customer service is outstanding to the point that I'm actually in a better mood after leaving. Not knowing a ton about car service, I just want someone to tell me what I absolutely need done and what I don't. They give me this information every time, and I appreciate that. They might recommend something more for my car, but they always give me all the details I need to make an informed decision. As a bonus, they have free coffee and magazines in the waiting area. They were really nice and polite HOWEVER, not sure why they made me pay $42 for the oil change AND the additional stuff that they didn't do. They said that they vacuumed the interior of the car and when I got in, it looked exactly the same! While I was waiting for someone to pick the car, I was offered by the manager a cup of coffee and wait inside. I went here after not using this location for about two years. Never had a problem there before, but after my last visit I will not go to any Jiffy Lube again. I'm going to get right to the point here. I was displeased because the following day when it started raining I discovered that they had peeled the rubber on my wiper blades off. This shop ruined the threads on my oil pan by overtightening the plug. I could hear a bunch of chatter in the shop about the "drain plug" (my car was the only car in the shop at the time). Then the cashier/manager tried to charge me for a drain plug at checkout. When I asked her about what had happened to the original drain plug, she scowled at me, and angrily stalked into the shop and announced, "He wants to see the drain plug." After more chatter in the shop she came back and said they actually didn't replace the drain plug. One of the mechanics finally came to the customer counter and confirmed that my drain plug had not been replaced. HOWEVER, he failed to mention that they stripped the threads on the drain pan. When I got home, I soon had a large puddle of oil on my driveway, and I could see oil dripping around the drain plug. I was able to reach the plug with a wrench, and it turned with almost no effort. I turned it several revolutions clockwise, and it never tightened further, and I could see that the flange on the head of the plug was bottomed-out against the pan anyway. Many years ago I let a different Jiffy Lube service one of my cars, and they put on an oil filter so over-tight that it had to be cut off with a chisel. Foolishly, I allowed Jiffy Lube a second chance. I feel like an idiot. Jiffy Lube is the worst of the worst. Now I'm facing the choices of improvised stop-gap repair, or expensive done-right repair. Not to mention my wasted time and great aggravation. I will NEVER darken the doorway of a Jiffy Lube again. read more
