I went in Saturday August 29th for an oil change $120 oil change ended up costing me $290. He broke the cover underneath my car when they took it off to drain the oil and never said anything I went home on Saturday was home on Sunday got on the highway on Monday to hear it snap onto the ground by the time I got home the thumping was so bad I couldn't go over 50 I had to get a new plate from the dealership and pay somebody to put it back on I've been going to jiffy lube for over 20 years I will never go back again I don't know what happened but they're not training their technicians properly and they didn't even say anything they just let me drive out with it broken. My car only has 48,000 miles on it. read more

This location was my go to spot and I was well taken care of. The previous Manager John always explained everything to me and prioritized what I needed to take care of now and explained what can wait till later. Recently there seems to have been a restructure. The new manager seems to be nice but the technicians and assistant manager seem to be more in the upsell game than listening to the customer. As a female it was refreshing not to be treated as unintelligent or taken advantage of when talking with the previous staff-now with the restructure I know longer feel safe with their recommendations. read more

This will be my last visit to any jiffy lube. Something happened when all of the older team members left. The last three times were all inexcusable. The first time they lost a bolt, and I was there an additional 45 minutes for that. I will never know if that bolt was ever really located and they never bothered to tell me, just left me sitting there. The second time I found a tool under the hood, and this time after spending two hundred dollars on an oil change and two filters, they just decided to not fill my wiper fluid. Completely dry. I went back told the guy why I was back, and he said "what are you talking about? Try it" As if I were too stupid to know how to turn my wipers/fluid on. No value no quality no convenience. Just another place that wants your money and has no intention of getting their act together. Terrible customer service, terrible sweltering service area, and just a miserable place to choose to spend your money. Go anywhere else. read more

The place complete ripoff, brought my company truck for oil change, 15,000 miles, they change my windshield wipers and air filter without my consent. Instead of $89 it was 214. Jiffy Lube at this location in spring Lake NJ has always been a great place for my oil change needs. I brought my new car in recently for a fresh change and I was pleased with the service provided. I was a little disappointed that the technician had left oil fingerprints on the front quarter panels and doors and interior. Other than that service is fine. read more

I went in for an oil change and some mechanic came out and tried to sell me a transmission fluid replacement. I declined and the next day my car wouldn't start at all. I had it towed to my dealership and they determined that I had no transmission fluid. I asked what is the likelihood that something like that just happens and they said never. This Jiffy Lube completely drained my transmission fluid. read more

Chose to come here since it was close to work. They took my Jeep in immediately and got to work. Once they gave me the price I almost thought is was a joke! I'm used to paying around $50 on average for an oil change. They charged me $138 for an oil change and new air filter. To their defense it was dirty and understanding the employees don't set the prices, I don't blame them. Busy week and I couldn't get an appointment with my local mechanic, so I tried Jiffy for an oil change. It will be my last. Wow, did I get bent over. $104 Let me repeat that. 104 dollars! Twice as much as my local guy whom I won't name, because he's busy enough. Synthetic oil in a Lincoln Aviator and they charge $104? These bastards uselessly cleaned my windshields, and vacumed out the front to help justify overcharging me. The good thing is, they always have me out quickly. The bad thing is, it costs me almost $300 every time I go. I've started going to my dealership and spend a lot less money doing so. Luckily after my "oil change", I went home and stayed in for the day. The next day I went out to my car and had every drop of oil that I paid for all over the parking lot. With no way to get oil to replace what was lost, and not wanting to risk seizing my engine, I had the car towed to a local shop while I cleaned up the oil spill in the 90-degree heat. The garage where I had my car towed was closed - as it was Sunday. Monday morning I called them and explained the situation, asking them to send any pictures to me regarding what may have happened. After a few minutes I received a picture of my drain plug with half of the threads showing. How are you in the business of oil changes and allow me to drive off that way? When I got back on the road I spoke to the manager, who said all of the right things. He took my contact info and said that he would get back to me by the following Friday - that was a month ago. If you're in the business of oil changes, and you can't properly screw in a drain plug, you should find another business. Sub par work and no honor to do the right thing. Take your car to a dealership, or at least - somewhere else. We've all heard the horror stories. It only takes one time to seize your engine. I was lucky. read more

Don't ever go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change or for anything really because they like to charge their customers up the ass for no reason. They charged 86$ for a routine oil change. Are you fucking kidding me?! I'm a loyal customer at State Tire and they only charge 35$. But no, not here. I decided to go to Jiffy lube cause State Tire had no availability today. HUGE mistake on my part. They will NEVER get any business from me ever again. Then they're asking me what kind of oil I want. The hell do I fucking know? Isn't that your job? State Tire has never asked me that in all the years I've been going. They just do it and only charge for the one thing I ask for. Then you think you can just pull a fast one on me and charge me for higher services such as rotating my tires and cleaning windows when I never mentioned needing any of that. Unbelievable. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Took my husbands car here for a tire rotation and they broke all of the lug nuts off of a brand new car. They tried to tell me it was due to rust, the car didn't even have 2,000 miles on it. Had to take it to a tire shop and have it fixed which cost even more money. Jiffy Lube didn't take any responsibility for their actions and still tried to charge me. All of the lug nuts needed to be re-studded. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Couldn't have had a worse experience. I walked in to the lobby to ask a question before they started working on my car and I was ignored by a worker who was directly on the other side of the glass divider, but he couldn't manage to pry himself from a personal phone call. I politely waited at the counter and a few minutes later another worker finally appeared behind the desk. I began to ask my question and he cut me off mid-sentence and advised me to sit down and that it was not my turn. There were two other people in the lobby and neither were standing. I then left the lobby and got into my car and drove off. Hands down worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Technician called me outside to show me a dirty air filter. He said look your air filter needs to be changed. I went to take it from his hand and he said no he didn't want to spill all the dirt on the floor. When he told me the price was gonna go up by almost $50 for the air filter I said I wanted to wait. I stop on the way home at Napa and picked up a $15 air filter. When I went to change my filter it was perfectly clean. Basically, he was trying to rip me off. Never going back. read more

When I took my car in to the dealership for maintenance, they told me the oil pan threads were stripped. They were ready to cover it if it was their service dept, but it was these guys at Jiffy Lube. Subaru covered the labor but I was out $100 for the pan. When I took the bill to Jiffy Lube they gave me some BS about how I should have called them sooner, they would have sent a tech straight to the Subaru dealer to look at it while it was still in their shop. Probably just wanted to argue with the Subaru techs over who's fault it was. Don't bring a car here for anything. read more

On 8/11/2021 @app 2pm on a very hot day, I drove into The Jiffy Lube with my Caliper hanging off. Rich was able to see it and direct me to the Mavis who had completed the work to begin with. The alternative would have been for them to complete the work at great cost to me. I appreciate it when men in this business do not take advantage of woman when they easily could. Kind people, quick service, but two gripes: 1. They overfilled my tires - 36F/R when they're supposed to be 32F/30R. 2. The mechanic got dirt all over the front seat, which I didn't notice until I got home and my pants were stained. Other than that, pretty good oil change. read more

Beware! I went here yesterday to get an oil change. Usually I go to the dealership but I didn't have time and decided to go here. The waiting area smelled like a combination of cigarettes and poop. The cost of my oil change was more than what I would have paid at the dealership. But that's not the worst part. This morning as I am driving I hear this strange noise. Concerned, I pulled over into a parking lot to find out the metal panel that they take off to do the oil change is hanging causing it to scrape on the ground because they didn't screw it back in correctly. It's not like they were busy so they shouldn't have been rushing. Now I'm hoping they actually did my oil change correctly. Never will I go there again or recommend it to anyone else. read more

I usually go during the day and I never have a good experience. This evening, I went around 6:30 and I was the only car that needed service and I had a quick and PERFECT experience. I was shocked! I didn't even get through the advertisements in the magazine before I was called to see what I wanted to get done (oil change, fluids and a new air filter). All together I was there for TEN minutes. The guys that were working were very nice to me and did not make me feel weird. Total gentlemen. I used this Jiffy Lube for my last oil change. They stripped my oil pan bolt by over tightening or not threading right. Car was dripping oil on the driveway which is now stained. Had to get the bolt replaced. It is definitely not worth the saving a few $$$ if they will destroy your engine with carelessness. read more
