After scanning my voucher, the manager (Cade) refused to perform the oil change, citing a gasket leak. However, because he had already scanned the code, he "spent" my money. When I asked to use the credit for my second vehicle instead, he refused. ​Groupon has confirmed they cannot refund me because Valvoline marked the service as "redeemed." When I returned to resolve this, Cade changed his story, claiming he only "recommended" the dealership and didn't refuse service--which is a lie. If he hadn't refused, I would have had the oil change done! Now I am out the money with no service to show for it. Unprofessional and dishonest.

I had removed some cosmetic parts from the dash like the glove compartment side panels and kick panels, but I never touched the electrical components. When I brought the truck in, everything was working fine. Expert Auto agreed to finish the job and put everything back together. After spending over $2,300, I picked it up three days later only to find the digital clock and radio didn't work, and the AC wouldn't power on until you drove for about two minutes. When I voiced my concerns, I was told they couldn't confirm everything worked beforehand and that the AC delay was due to the battery being disconnected for several days, insisting the "computer" would catch up and fix itself. Two weeks later, the problem persisted and the AC went out completely. I took it back, and after another inspection, they said they didn't know what was wrong and advised me to take it to a wiring shop. After paying $250 for a wiring diagnosis, I was told the dash needed to be taken apart again--at a cost of over $4,500 with no guarantee of a fix. When I called Expert Auto again, Tim told me there was nothing they could or would do. Now, on a fixed income, I'm left with no AC or heat going into winter, unable to afford repairs, and Expert Auto refuses to make it right. That I would have to buy a new tire. (These tires are a year old with under 2,000 miles. Each tire cost $220.) My car brand does not have spare tires. So, I took it to Kansasland who had no problem with the fix-a-flat. They cleaned out the inner tire and repaired it in under an hour. I recommend Kansasland any day over Firestone. Some of the parts/work they installed even had to be redone because what they installed was bad. After all of that, I got my car back and it broke down again less than 2 miles from the shop. It turned out the actual problem was ONE SIMPLE PART that they somehow failed to diagnose after multiple visits, towing my car, and charging me for all kinds of other repairs. When I called Kyle and asked for a refund after everything they put me through, he refused. I was also talked to like a child instead of a customer who had already paid them thousands of dollars and given them multiple chances to fix the car correctly. They took my money, replaced parts that did not solve the problem, had me come back FOUR TIMES, and still never fixed what I originally brought the car in for. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. It's apparent that other higher-rated shops are aware of Kyle, it's unfortunate how it is known for situations like this with customers' vehicles. After what happened to me personally, that was not surprising to hear.
