Located in The Grove outdoor shopping mall, this the only Edikted retail store in L.A. It just…read moreopened in May 2025. Edikted is based out of California and was founded in 2020. It sells trendy women's clothing and accessories, drawing inspiration from streetwear, pop culture, and runway trends. The brand became trendy on TikTok, and this retail store is fairly new as their sales all used to be online. I noticed a buzz and a lot of people shopping here even on a Thursday morning. The decor is fun and has neon and a lot of pinks; you walk under a giant heart cut out when you go through the front door. Prices seem pretty reasonable. It has a bit of a Forever 21 store (RIP) vibe. The nice thing about purchasing things in the store versus online is obviously you get service from the store staff and help with picking out styles in person. Check it out while it's hot.

The item has only been live for 5 days! Five days! And I'm potentially looking at earnings of less than $20 (unless the price is dropped again!) for a pair of Armani shoes. I could have sold these shoes for more at a garage sale. Can someone please explain to me why the price would be lowered by 20% after only 5 days of being available? As a consigner, it is infuriating to see the earnings decrease by such an amount that it makes me consider even working with The RealReal again. For $18.40 I could have taken these shoes to Buffalo Exchange and gotten more. I'm very disappointed.

And if you're expecting the employees to ask you "come here often?" before motioning the barkeep to bring you another of whatever you're having, then still, NO. Or maybe yes. Just not with me. Pffft. The clothes are definitely fun and flirty, though -- if you wear them. Flirt is the typical Melrose kitsch store -- one-offs and private labels abound. Not too many jean choices (mostly charcoal gray), and not that many T-shirts, but the ones they have will have you going gaga, lady. What's a boy like me doing reviewing an exclusively girl's store? Well, I have no intention of wearing that off-the-shoulder blouse or sundress (hmm... with the right belt and handbag, I -- nevermind), but the store is definitely a pleasant place, even if you're just waiting on girls to finish trying things on. You can stand there awkwardly listening to the early 1990s era boombox that's pumping out KISS FM all day (Lil Wayne seems determined to make me his fan), or check yourself out in the mirrors on the wall. "Oh you are quite the looker, aren't you..." Anyway, speaking of incredible, psychologically unhealthy narcissism (or not, whatever), the pink-curtained dressing rooms have matching pink folding chairs -- everything in the store has either touches or tons of pink, which sounds like a Hello Kitty nightmare but is actually kind of cute in a flamingo-pecked-my-eyes-out way. When you try things on, it's with a soft background of Pepto Bismo, but it does make that hotgasmic pair of koolats stand out in palatial, plaid glory. Sweet Heavens, but you're beautiful. Now close your curtain -- that weird tattoo guy with his tattooier girlfriend can see your thong. Hey, the stuff you're trying on is on sale, too! At least a fourth of the store is half off, so you'll have more money left over to blow on things like shoes, handbags, and rent. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful -- they'll make useful suggestions that aren't lame attempts at plus-selling. Flirt Clothing does lose one star because they forgot to remove a security tag on a $240 hobo bag. Now I'm going to have to come back tomorrow -- with receipt -- to have them remove it because SOMEBODY'S too busy (*cough* gainfully employed) to do so herself. I'm going to play like it's mine. It looks cuter on me anyway :-)

I bought a beautiful purple scarf with brown leopard spots on it the other day. The material was like that of a soft sweater. It was only $19.00. I could've gotten a better deal on it if I bargained with the lady there, but I didn't since the price was already low. Also, she was nice and showed me how to tie it since I wasn't sure how to wear it. I always leave scarves untied up until now. She showed me and it was easier than it I thought it would be. I really appreciated that. Also, it was great that she could actually break a $100.00 bill. Some places can't. If you're not familair with the area, you might not know that due to lots of competition, sometimes the shop owner or manager will give you a discount on clothes and other items if you ask them for one. Sometimes they are so eager to sell, they just offer you a good deal. I didn't want to appear cheap though, so I didn't bother asking. It was also nice that she didn't bug me or follow me around like a lot of the shop employees tend to do sometimes. This is a great place and I'll come back here next time I'm in LA.

I've only brought my Chanel flats here so far, but I'll definitely be bringing my Louboutins in the future. He even showed me examples of Louboutins he had worked on, and they looked amazing! So happy I found this place -- highly recommend, especially for designer shoes!

I worked with Jila for my wedding dress alterations, and she was absolutely amazing. She adjusted the corset so it fit perfectly, hemmed the bottom, and created my bustle. Everything turned out flawless, and I felt so confident on my wedding day. What truly set her apart was how caring and accommodating she was. I had a last-minute issue with my second dress arriving late, and since I live on the west side, Jila went out of her way to pick it up for me so I could meet her directly to see if any alterations were needed. We booked an appointment 4 or 5 days ahead of time, as there was full availability on the calendar for weekdays. There is a 48 hour cancellation window, and at hour 47 we realized that the timing conflicted slightly with a work matter (when we made the appointment we were in New York and miscalculated the time difference). An email was sent at the 47th hour (1 hour after the window), mentioning the issue and asking if it could still be canceled since it was so close to the window, and apologizing for missing the window. The owner replied and specifically said "No problem, we've gone ahead and canceled the appointment for you". At this point, we figured all was well as they made no mention of still charging the fee. A few weeks later, we noticed the charge was still there. A quick email reply came when we inquired saying it was past their window and no refund was due. IF this was the case, why did the original email not say so and why did they make 0 effort to reschedule or ask if another time worked better? OR we could have made it work if she hadn't responded so positively. What a slimy way to make a quick $27 for nothing. I will restate that the calendar was still really really open (ie, it was not a highly sough after appointment slot taken from anyone else even on the off chance they were booking in the 2-4 days out window). Overall, it is a blessing the appointment didn't happen after reading some of these reviews about how the owner acts in person (no surprise there). Ended up with a beautiful dress from Berta and would highly recommend their new LA showroom on Beverly.

I can't speak to their online portion of the business, with the shipping and try-on-at-home or the selling process, but I can absolutely recommend that if you're looking to buy a wedding dress in SoCal, it's worth it to visit this place in person! It was just me and my mom (someone whose opinion I value but who also trusts that I can make my own decisions), but I think they allow up to four people to come with you. (Choose wisely lol). They also have great tips on their site, and the ones I felt were super helpful were 1- go to a regular bridal salon first to get a feel for the things you like and don't like, 2- size up one or two sizes from what your street clothes normally are, 3- preview their selection online and come prepared if there's something you specifically want to try on. They also send you a questionnaire when you book the appointment asking how you want to feel in your wedding dress on the day of -- which was a really useful question to answer, just for myself lol but I'm sure it helps them pick out some options that might align! Desiree was amazing!! She immediately understood my vision. She was an incredible resource for all of my nerdy material questions, and my questions about the consignment process, what would and wouldn't be possible in alterations, travel tips for transporting the dress, storing the dress, post-ceremony cleaning, etc. It's also bananas how much she knew about the history of some of my dress picks re: the original bride's alterations, off the top of her head! (Or maybe it's written down in their system haha that's probably more likely, but if it was from memory, freakin' kudos!). Apparently, Desiree had worked at the designer of one of my top pick dresses so she also had the lowdown of the business from that perspective as well! I also didn't feel pressured at all, which was so important for me--not just for wedding dress shopping but for all of the choices we've been making for the wedding. It's a small thing, but something I greatly appreciated. The absolute most useful advice Desiree had was about the alterations process and even pricing. She made the caveat that different people would have a range of prices, but for what I was looking for, she would be shocked if I had to pay over X amount. I went to five different alteration places to get quotes, and three of them quoted me pretty much the exact number Desiree had suggested, and two of them tried to upsell me on things I didn't need and charge me three times as much! Obviously, I went with one of the seamstresses that quoted me that starting price, and I was so grateful that Desiree knew her stuff because my people-pleaser self might have just accepted the pricier alterations place without questioning it. I found the gown of my dreams at Loved Twice Bridal, from my top pick designer (Galia Lahav!) at significantly off the retail/custom order price. I received excellent service from an extremely knowledgeable resource. And I made a choice that aligned with my sustainable values. I'm so, so happy with how it all worked out! I just picked it up after alterations (Connie Tao Designs in Pasadena) and I cannot wait to wear this dress on my wedding day! Obviously, my choice of husband is the best choice I've made for my wedding haha, but choosing the dress I did, from this shop - it was a pretty darn good choice for me. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk (Desiree) didn't greet us despite us being the only party to enter. It wasn't until I introduced my name that she then introduced herself. She also made it a point to say "you brought the 'whhhole crew' with you today. Which I was confused about because I had 4 guests which was within the allowed guest count. It was a very uncomfortable encounter. Nonetheless, I brushed it off as I was excited to try on wedding gowns for my November 2025 event. While selecting dresses, I asked Desiree if she could please add one of the gowns to the rack for me to try on. Her response was "but is it actually in your budget?" Woah--did she just Pretty Woman me? When I asked if that was a requirement to try on dresses, she responded no, but since it's a consignment shop they have to be mindful of how many times a dress is worn and they want guests to be intentional about selections. Okay--understandable but set that expectation from the beginning or it sounds extremely judgmental without context. The selection was quite limited as other people mentioned. That said I found a dress with potential and put it on hold. Ultimately I changed my mind about the purchase because I couldn't justify supporting a shop with that type of customer service. I thankfully ended up finding my dream dress elsewhere and ironically it was well over my original budget. But when I tried it on and loved it--I figured it's worth the price. From the glowing reviews I truly hope I'm an anomaly, but I had to share my experience as I hope this behavior from staff can be improved in the future. For many of us, this experience is supposed to be exciting and when we are paying for the experience to try on dresses I think at minimum staff should try to *at least* fake politeness for the one hour we have booked.

I was feeling exhausted and honestly quite hopeless. Then I came to NWLA. They have a beautiful curation of dresses, you can tell each piece was so thoughtfully picked to create a stunning collection. Jessica also was patient & knowledgeable - as I was trying on dresses and giving her real time feedback, she was pivoting the choices to better match what I wanted. One note on parking, it is a main street with no lot, so make sure you arrive 5-10 minutes early so you can find street parking!

Candice was was sales person and she was phenomenal, her passion for bridal fashion is infectious- she actually made me excited to try on gowns and really set the tone for all other bridal appointments I had elsewhere. I came very close to buying my dress from LOHO but sadly ended up finding 'the one' at another boutique. But it's definitely not for a lack of choices on LOHO's part, it's just where my bridal journey took me. If I ever get married again lol I will definitely get my next wedding gown at LOHO Bride, and I will be telling all future brides to make an appointment with them! The parking was pretty easy for me when I went, they have about 4-5 free parking spots available right outside the boutique so I would recommend carpooling if you're going with a group.
