I had an amazing experience working with Miss Loyce for my wedding dress alterations! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and in good hands. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and attentive to every detail. She is incredibly committed to her client's needs and regularly works late into the night. Even when I was stressed about having enough time for fittings before the wedding, she always reassured me of the timeline. When I couldn't make an appointment she was extremely flexibly and it was easy to reschedule. The pricing was fair and my dress was completed right on schedule with more than enough time for my big day. I can't thank Loyce enough for making this part of the wedding experience enjoyable and less stressful. I would recommend Loyce to anyone who is looking for wedding or other alteration services.

Miss Loyce did my wedding dress two years ago and it was absolutely perfect. It fit like a glove and every fitting with her was just so much fun. My mom loves her as well and she helped with alterations for her dress too. I'm going back for another dress because there's no one else I'd trust with my alterations!!

I absolutely loved working with Ms Loyce! Just from the first phone call, you can already tell she's the one everybody goes to! She's so caring, experienced, and has a warm loving personality. She worked her magic on my wedding dress and veil; she made the dress (which had SO much fabric) fit perfectly on my little petite body. Every visit was a pleasure; she gave us great wisdom, and my husband loved joining me on my fittings cause he enjoys sitting at their comfy lobby while waiting. She even hand delivered my dress to me. I cannot recommend Grace Bridal Couture enough! Thank you so much Ms Loyce for making me feel beautiful for my special day!

I owe so much to Miss Loyce! I had a relatively inexpensive dress that she worked her magic on to turn into the perfect dress for my beach wedding in Mexico. I'm short and curvy, so she brought up the shoulders and hemmed the bottom. She also added a bustle for my short train, which was key for dancing! Lastly, she sewed in a piece of my dad's flannel underneath, which was such a special touch. Miss Loyce makes this such a special experience, I really enjoyed my appointments with her. Thank you, Miss Loyce! I'll be sending all of my bride friends to her in the future. :)

Complete look of the final product: perfect length and size. The patterns are seamlessly lined up.

Mrs. Loyce is a magician, a therapist, a best friend, and a wedding consultant all in one. I bought my dress from Glamour Closet. It was a floor sample, and four sizes bigger. I didn't have high expectations, but boy did Mrs. Loyce make some magic happen. The finished product fit perfectly. Mrs. Loyce even made a bustle and lined the bottom of my dress (a horse hair hem?) despite the complicated patterns. I got so many compliments on my dress from everyone who zoomed into our wedding. If you have a wedding dress that needs tailoring, go to Mrs. Loyce. Call her well in advance of your wedding so she can fit you in her *very* busy schedule. I felt like the luckiest bride having her take care of my dress. It was the only part of my wedding planning that went smoothly without a hitch. Plus, she gives great advice and is super fun to be around. Check out the photos yourself!

Loyce is a total pro and a dream to work with. Her schedule was packed when I contacted her but she graciously made time for me and wow, I was lucky! She shortened the dress, bustled it, added loops for a belt, steamed it, and handheld me along the way. Weddings can be stressful, but getting your outfit to perfection doesn't have to be. At least not with Loyce :-)

Perfection - Mrs Loyce's attention to detail is unmatched!

It has taken me far too long to write this but I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mrs Loyce and the beautiful service & alterations that she provided to me! She is extremely knowledgable and a true professional in her field. She graciously made time for me and my tight timeline and I can honestly say I looked forward to each and every time that I had an appointment with her! She is kind, patient, talented, a perfectionist and most importantly so real and genuine in her approach in making you the most beautiful bride on your special day! She truly is the best that there is and I highly & sincerely recommend her for all of your bridal alteration needs. Mrs Loyce - you made my bridal dress experience better than I could have ever expected and I really can't thank you enough :)

I loved my dress so much! She shortened the dress about 2 feet and took out the train

Miss Loyce is an absolute treasure! I had what I thought was a very simple alteration, just taking the hem up a few feet, but of course it was very complicated. Nothing is too complicated for Miss Loyce though, she is PRO! I will absolutely miss our conversations and giggles, she is the most sweetest and talented, and you'll be so happy with your dress.

Miss Loyce was incredible to work with! She was thorough and thoughtful every step along the way and brought so much wisedom with her. I felt beautiful on our wedding day and am so grateful I went with Grace Bridal Couture! :)

To say Loyce is a master at her craft is an understatement! She goes above and beyond for her brides making sure the dress looks it's absolute best. She could have easily just hemmed and taken in the bodice but instead she reworked the dress she took the lace from the bottom to help with the bodice. Turning my dress from a factory dress into a one of a kind! Through her incredible creativity and her drive my dress went from pretty to incredible! She has an amazing personality and is beyond kind!! She was quick to respond to emails and questions. Her pricing is incredibly reasonable and I am so lucky to have found her! I recommend contacting her in advance because she does book up!! I was initially hesitant because I couldn't believe that anyone could have that good of ratings. But I was wrong!! She truly deserves all the five star reviews. You will not regret the decision to work with her!!!! (Photos by Erin Shimazu Photography)

Loyce is the best there is! Not only is her work immaculate, she is entertaining, kind, warm spirited, and gives great advice. I am beyond grateful for how perfect my wedding dress turned out. She even added a statement to my lace less dress by adding buttons all way down my dress and it is still my favorite part about the dress. Loyce, I am eternally grateful for you!

Loyce added a belt and bra that I bought. She added boning to prevent the pleats, she tightened up the sleeves and brought in the shoulders.

Back in March at the start of Covid, I made the mistake of buying my $600 dress on Etsy. I was not at all happy with the dress, but I had no idea why. I reached out to Mrs. Loyce and she was able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with my dress and gave me a walkthrough for how she would adjust it over the phone. I gave her my budget which she agreed to work with. I came in a total of 5 times and each meeting was such a pleasure. She was such a joy to work with and continued to inspire me for my wedding day. I truly looked forward to coming into her office because of her warmth and passion. Each time I came in both of us always wore a mask and respected Covid protocols which made me feel safe. When I had a Zoom call with my mother, she was more than happy to talk her through what changes she was going to make or had already made so she could feel apart of the process. I am very happy with her work and adjustments for my dress as it made such a big difference for how I looked in it and how it made me feel. P.S. Future readers, did you know that she can custom make a wedding dress? If I had the budget for this, I would have gone for it!

If you are lucky enough to be one of Mrs. Loyce's brides, you are on your way to having an amazing bridal experience. I heard of other covid brides feeling as though they were cheapened out of the full bridal experience. But working with Mrs. Loyce was such a fun part of my bridal experience. She was one of the first people who made me feel like a real bride :) Mrs. Loyce is the perfectionist that my body demanded. I am three different sizes across the bust, waist, and hips. The dress fit like an old hoodie on top when I bought it. My dress came out beautifully! And the marriage advice comes free! Mrs. Loyce doesn't rush her process AT ALL. Talent takes time. Each visit was so fun. I can't stress enough how great the entire experience was. And that dress-pure gorgeousness. Thank you, thank you Mrs. Loyce!

I was guided to an upstairs hallway with loose organization, was told I could only pick several dresses, and then I only had 30min in a dressing room (I still had a attentive shared staff member to help me get into things). This all worked out totally fine for me, and is a pretty normal sample sale experience in LA, but you should know this going into it! I am an experienced sample sale girlie, but it was also my very first wedding dress place, so the item and time limit made me sweat, especially not yet knowing exactly what I wanted. I tried on three dresses, loved two, and bought my wedding dress here - yes, the first place I went - and ADORED it. 10/10 would do it again. The staff member helping me was awesome - she split her time well, and was a hype woman without being pushy or fake. They wrapped up the dress just as nicely as it I'd bought it full price, and even asked if I wanted to take a "said yes to the dress" photo. The dress was just under $800 after tax, and the other one I loved was just under $900. It needed a little work - the straps were dirty and loosely seen in some places, an aglet was missing, and the lace needed a steam badly. Overall, however, extremely worth it! I am so happy I came here & found my dream dress.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted right away , offered water , and they even went over my inspiration photos. Everything felt very prepared for my appointment, I didn't feel rushed or limited. What surprised me the most & really impressed me and my fiancé was the way they were both attentive, kind, professionals and knew their styles. They picked a dress out for me on top of the dresses I had in mind and at the end of the appointment I left picking their recommendation because that's how amazing of an eye and taste for bridal fashion they have. How talented is it to know a brides taste and look without the bride even knowing herself. I was truly blown away by their selection. The gowns I tried on were all Maggie Sottero and all gorgeous. Their pick for me ended up being mine and my fiancés favorite, nothing else topped it. Checkout was easy, prices are affordable for the high quality , free alterations with a dress purchase and options for some customizations. The store itself was very clean , uplifting , it felt upscale with all the beautiful lighting , changing rooms & seating areas. Parking is easy to find with street /meter parking or a few parking lots nearby. We said yes to the dress thanks to Esmeralda and America, we can't thank a better dream team ! They will go far in the bridal world especially how they made our dress shopping a dreamy experience.

Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff laughed, and one of them asked, "What are you doing here?" I replied, "I have an appointment," and they all laughed again. Looking back, I should have walked out then, but I decided to give them a chance. I was told I had to wait because no one was available to help me, even though there were four staff members standing at the front. I was told to look through the racks for dresses while I waited. Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

The end product was satisfactory, but not without several mistakes and unnecessary stress. Be prepared to be on TOP of the associates as the communication is nonexistent otherwise. While Angel was lovely, her sales associates need training. I wish I could have corresponded with Angel directly, as her associates seemed to not know what was going on/did not communicate. On 8/31/24, I said yes to the dress after having exhausted 6-7 bridal shops in Phoenix. I finally felt a sense of relief. I paid in FULL that day. I signed the paperwork for my dress to be ready in March 2025, two months before my wedding. The next steps were for Yesenia to send a sketch of my dress based on the designs I wanted, within a few weeks. I waited several weeks and when I didn't get anything, I reached out to Enoch (who is no longer with them). He assured me he would get on Yesenia to send the sketch. I didn't get A sketch until 11/20/24, nearly 3 months after I had already paid for my dress, and it wasn't even a sketch of my dress! I didn't get a sketch of MY dress until 11/25/24 and it looked like something she drew in 5 minutes. Very anticlimactic. After A LOT of back and forth on the finer details, I asked if the dress was ready to START production on 12/5/24. I received no response. I sent another email on 12/9/24, no response. I finally booked a flight to LA and SHOWED UP IN PERSON on 12/14 and Yesenia looked surprised to see me. She stated that she had responded production had already started on my dress, and she had sent an email but it must not have gone through. OKAY. I started emailing her again in February asking about the status of my dress: 2/3, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1. 3/1 Yesenia stated she would send me photos of my dress and book my first fitting. She never did send me photos of my dress. I had my first fitting on 3/16/25. I was expecting for all my fittings and the dress to be finalized by this point, but I was just happy there was a dress at all. The leg slit I had asked to be on the right side, was on the left side instead. Because of the way the dress was designed, it could not easily be fixed. They did not apologize for the error at any point. They did offer to REMAKE the dress, however, with my wedding less than 2 months away (5/8/25) and the TERRIBLE communication, I did not want to take that stress or risk. I had also asked for pearl buttons on the overskirt but received satin buttons. Yesenia replied that production had responded on 2/24 (to her) that pearls cost extra; at no point had she communicated this to me. She stated she would have them swapped out for the pearl buttons. On 3/27/25, I sent all the photos of the details I wanted for my veil to Yesenia. Admittedly, there were a lot of details- I wanted a cathedral veil, scallop trim with beaded edge, and for our names and the date to be embroidered. Knowing my wedding date, and that I had to leave the COUNTRY at the beginning of May, Yesenia could have prefaced that all these details would take a month+ to make- but she never stated any sort of time frame. In April, I asked if the original alterations were completed on my dress. Lots of unanswered texts. I had my 2nd fitting on 4/26, the WEEKEND before I was leaving the COUNTRY for my wedding. Luckily the dress came together, even though the leg slit was wrong. The veil was not ready for me to take home that day. Yesenia stated she could have it shipped for $8 or next day shipping for $33. I stated that I would not be paying for shipping over text, and I reiterated this again during the 2nd fitting. She agreed to wave the cost. The veil shipped on 4/28 and I received it on 4/30, a mere 3 days before leaving the country. Luckily the veil was beautiful, albeit the embroidery was smaller than I expected- but everything was spelled correctly (a point I reiterated multiple times via text). At the end of the day, everything turned out OKAY but it certainly was unnecessarily stressful and unenjoyable. I didn't have the dress of my dreams (because of the leg slit on the wrong side- and I didn't utilize the leg slit on the left side) which is crushing when you're promised it and PAYING for it. I don't recommend Lucky Brides for your peace of mind.
