Roya is an absolute godsend! I had to get my wedding dress altered less than 3 months before my wedding and she was able to fit me in for an appointment. During my initial fitting, she was patient and talked me through the entire process. When I told her I wanted to shorten my off-the-shoulder sleeves, she told me why I shouldn't shorten them and I really appreciated her honesty. She genuinely cares about her work and her clients and offers fair pricing without charging for more than what's needed. I had a total of 3 fittings with her: the first to take in the sides, the second for the hemming and adding the bustle, and the final fitting to make sure everything fits well and to show us how to do the bustle on the dress. I picked up the dress a week before my wedding and it turned out perfect! I could not have asked for a better seamstress that I'd trust with my wedding dress!

Roya altered my wedding dress, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She did an amazing job with the alterations, especially the bustle. It was absolutely perfect and worked flawlessly on my wedding day. What I appreciated most was how much she cared about making sure I was completely happy with the final result. She took the time to listen, make adjustments when needed, and made me feel confident every step of the way. I highly recommend her to any bride looking for someone skilled, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making your dress perfect.

The only picture I have so far that shows the bustle

Roya is amazing! She is passionate about what she does and it shows: with how thorough she is during our appointments and also with how sincere and honest she is with what she thinks is best for my dress while being transparent about the prices that come with each alteration. Technically there are three appointments: first meeting is to figure out what needs to be done, second is follow up and adjustment and when payment is due, and third is pickup. I ended up having four because I forgot my wedding heels in my first appointment....so please don't do that lol. But again, Roya showed her kindness by being okay to reschedule our appointment and even tried to measure the dress by having me step on a little "platform" that resembles my wedding heels. Cant recommend her enough!

Roya was so great to work with! She was one of the seamstresses recommended by Luv Bridal, where I bought my dress. While I live on the westside and she's located in Eagle Rock, it worth going with Roya as my seamstress for her quality work. She was very upfront about pricing from the beginning which was appreciated. I ended up taking in my dress at the bust twice (we planned to take it in after my first fitting and when I returned for my second fitting I felt like we could take it in a little more) and adding a bustle. My dress was quite heavy but she did a great job with the bustle. When I picked up my dress, she was very detailed in explaining how to bustle the dress making sure I took a video of her explaining the details.

Roya made this part of the wedding process the easiest. She's friendly, professional, and detail-oriented, which are all attributes you want from your bridal tailor.

I had such a wonderful experience getting my wedding dress altered! Roya did an incredible job hemming my gown, replacing the original zipper, adding a bustle, and adding beautiful removable sleeves that turned out even better than I imagined. Throughout the entire process, she was kind, patient, and so professional. really taking the time to understand my vision and make sure every detail was perfect. Her craftsmanship and attention to detail made me feel completely confident and cared for. I'm so grateful for her talent and warmth -- I couldn't recommend her enough to any bride looking for quality alterations and a genuinely kind person to work with!

Roya was soooo lovely! Sweetest and extremely accommodating. My dress fit perfectly. I had a great experience with her.

I had such a wonderful and positive experience with Roya! From the very beginning, she was very professional, kind, and welcoming. She gave thoughtful and honest recommendations and you could tell she genuinely cares for her brides to feel comfortable and confident in their wedding dresses. She is incredibly talented and has such great attention to detail. The final result for my wedding dress was exactly what I had hoped for! Roya also made this process so smooth and reassuring that I felt completely confident leaving my dress in her hands. Thank you Roya for such a positive experience and for helping me feel the most confident in my wedding dress!

Roya was amazing, she hemmed and bustled my very thick material wedding dress with ease! She was honest and very knowledgeable about what would be needed for alterations vs not needed (I did not need to take in any width or change cup size). I will be recommending Roya to all friends who need dress alterations :)

Easy 5/5 stars! Roya is amazing, a true craftsman at what she does. Beyond her natural talent she is organized, professional, open to ideas, and personally warm and caring. She was able to take my train off (with multiple layers) to give me a circle drop, take in the bust with a seamless appliqué alteration, and make a last minute shortening a week before the wedding. All of this at a very reasonable price for her amazing work. I would highly recommend her services for any bride

Roya is the BEST! My dress arrived very very late and too large, but Roya saved the day. She altered it beautifully and worked with me to get it done on time. She is clearly an expert at her craft. She was lovely to work with and I highly recommend her to any bride!

Roya was so kind and worked quickly to get my dress done in time once it was delayed from the bridal shop! She did a fantastic job! HIGHLY recommend working with her.

My dress was an absolute dream and fit like a glove after being in Roya's care. She provided helpful suggestions and listened to what I was looking for (i.e. tighter bodice). She was sweet and did such a great job, especially with all the beading and appliqué my dress had. Thank you Roya!

I was guided to an upstairs hallway with loose organization, was told I could only pick several dresses, and then I only had 30min in a dressing room (I still had a attentive shared staff member to help me get into things). This all worked out totally fine for me, and is a pretty normal sample sale experience in LA, but you should know this going into it! I am an experienced sample sale girlie, but it was also my very first wedding dress place, so the item and time limit made me sweat, especially not yet knowing exactly what I wanted. I tried on three dresses, loved two, and bought my wedding dress here - yes, the first place I went - and ADORED it. 10/10 would do it again. The staff member helping me was awesome - she split her time well, and was a hype woman without being pushy or fake. They wrapped up the dress just as nicely as it I'd bought it full price, and even asked if I wanted to take a "said yes to the dress" photo. The dress was just under $800 after tax, and the other one I loved was just under $900. It needed a little work - the straps were dirty and loosely seen in some places, an aglet was missing, and the lace needed a steam badly. Overall, however, extremely worth it! I am so happy I came here & found my dream dress.

Updated review: Update: I have to revise my review. I wrote…read morethe glowing review below after my initial fitting because Alen made me feel so heard after being burnt out from dress shopping, and I even tipped generously on top of it. I wish I could say the experience held up, but it hasn't. At my dress fitting, I discovered sleeves on my dress that I was never told about or agreed to. They weren't even written in my notes, so there was no record of the changes that were actually promised to me. Things I was told would be included just weren't there. At this point, the dress isn't what I said yes to, and honestly I'm not sure I'll even wear it. On top of that, my pick-up appointment was scheduled for a day they were closed. I drove in from Orange County only to find out when I got there. I've since tried multiple times to schedule a new appointment through text, including messages that were never answered at all. I really wanted this to be the happy ending my first review described, but between the undocumented changes to my dress and the communication breakdown since, I can't recommend this experience the way I did before.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted right away , offered water , and they even went over my inspiration photos. Everything felt very prepared for my appointment, I didn't feel rushed or limited. What surprised me the most & really impressed me and my fiancé was the way they were both attentive, kind, professionals and knew their styles. They picked a dress out for me on top of the dresses I had in mind and at the end of the appointment I left picking their recommendation because that's how amazing of an eye and taste for bridal fashion they have. How talented is it to know a brides taste and look without the bride even knowing herself. I was truly blown away by their selection. The gowns I tried on were all Maggie Sottero and all gorgeous. Their pick for me ended up being mine and my fiancés favorite, nothing else topped it. Checkout was easy, prices are affordable for the high quality , free alterations with a dress purchase and options for some customizations. The store itself was very clean , uplifting , it felt upscale with all the beautiful lighting , changing rooms & seating areas. Parking is easy to find with street /meter parking or a few parking lots nearby. We said yes to the dress thanks to Esmeralda and America, we can't thank a better dream team ! Horrible experience from the moment I walked in…read more My mom and I walked in smiling, excited for my bridal appointment. Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff laughed, and one of them asked, "What are you doing here?" I replied, "I have an appointment," and they all laughed again. Looking back, I should have walked out then, but I decided to give them a chance. I was told I had to wait because no one was available to help me, even though there were four staff members standing at the front. I was told to look through the racks for dresses while I waited. Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

The end product was satisfactory, but not without several mistakes and unnecessary stress. Be prepared to be on TOP of the associates as the communication is nonexistent otherwise. While Angel was lovely, her sales associates need training. I wish I could have corresponded with Angel directly, as her associates seemed to not know what was going on/did not communicate. On 8/31/24, I said yes to the dress after having exhausted 6-7 bridal shops in Phoenix. I finally felt a sense of relief. I paid in FULL that day. I signed the paperwork for my dress to be ready in March 2025, two months before my wedding. The next steps were for Yesenia to send a sketch of my dress based on the designs I wanted, within a few weeks. I waited several weeks and when I didn't get anything, I reached out to Enoch (who is no longer with them). He assured me he would get on Yesenia to send the sketch. I didn't get A sketch until 11/20/24, nearly 3 months after I had already paid for my dress, and it wasn't even a sketch of my dress! I didn't get a sketch of MY dress until 11/25/24 and it looked like something she drew in 5 minutes. Very anticlimactic. After A LOT of back and forth on the finer details, I asked if the dress was ready to START production on 12/5/24. I received no response. I sent another email on 12/9/24, no response. I finally booked a flight to LA and SHOWED UP IN PERSON on 12/14 and Yesenia looked surprised to see me. She stated that she had responded production had already started on my dress, and she had sent an email but it must not have gone through. OKAY. I started emailing her again in February asking about the status of my dress: 2/3, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1. 3/1 Yesenia stated she would send me photos of my dress and book my first fitting. She never did send me photos of my dress. I had my first fitting on 3/16/25. I was expecting for all my fittings and the dress to be finalized by this point, but I was just happy there was a dress at all. The leg slit I had asked to be on the right side, was on the left side instead. Because of the way the dress was designed, it could not easily be fixed. They did not apologize for the error at any point. They did offer to REMAKE the dress, however, with my wedding less than 2 months away (5/8/25) and the TERRIBLE communication, I did not want to take that stress or risk. I had also asked for pearl buttons on the overskirt but received satin buttons. Yesenia replied that production had responded on 2/24 (to her) that pearls cost extra; at no point had she communicated this to me. She stated she would have them swapped out for the pearl buttons. On 3/27/25, I sent all the photos of the details I wanted for my veil to Yesenia. Admittedly, there were a lot of details- I wanted a cathedral veil, scallop trim with beaded edge, and for our names and the date to be embroidered. Knowing my wedding date, and that I had to leave the COUNTRY at the beginning of May, Yesenia could have prefaced that all these details would take a month+ to make- but she never stated any sort of time frame. In April, I asked if the original alterations were completed on my dress. Lots of unanswered texts. I had my 2nd fitting on 4/26, the WEEKEND before I was leaving the COUNTRY for my wedding. Luckily the dress came together, even though the leg slit was wrong. The veil was not ready for me to take home that day. Yesenia stated she could have it shipped for $8 or next day shipping for $33. I stated that I would not be paying for shipping over text, and I reiterated this again during the 2nd fitting. She agreed to wave the cost. The veil shipped on 4/28 and I received it on 4/30, a mere 3 days before leaving the country. Luckily the veil was beautiful, albeit the embroidery was smaller than I expected- but everything was spelled correctly (a point I reiterated multiple times via text). At the end of the day, everything turned out OKAY but it certainly was unnecessarily stressful and unenjoyable. I didn't have the dress of my dreams (because of the leg slit on the wrong side- and I didn't utilize the leg slit on the left side) which is crushing when you're promised it and PAYING for it. I don't recommend Lucky Brides for your peace of mind.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made everything feel special -- they even served bubbly while my wife tried on dresses, which set the tone for such a fun and memorable day. A huge thank‑you to Jhocelyn ,who was amazing from start to finish. She listened, guided, and helped my wife find *the* dress -- the one that made her light up the second she stepped into it. And Jose, the manager, truly went above and beyond. He made sure the dress was tailored perfectly and ready for our big day, and his attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of. My wife loved the boutique so much she also picked up one of their super cool custom denim jackets with heart cutouts, lace overlay, pearls, and "bride" on the back. Such a unique piece and the perfect keepsake. And the dress... I'll never forget the moment I saw her walking down the aisle.
