No wait to valet, the hostesses were warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. My server, Daniel, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable walked me through the menu and gave great recommendations. Food: Everything I had was delicious. I started with the chips and assortment of salsas and dips, which were really were incredible! For Restaurant Week, I had the tortilla soup, the shrimp/bacon tacos, and the leches cake for dessert. The tortilla soup was especially impressive, both in presentation and flavor, and the shrimp tacos were excellent. Honestly, there was not a bad bite all night. Ambiance: The restaurant is beautiful--chic, polished, and much larger than I expected. The different dining areas each seem to offer a slightly different experience, which adds to the overall feel of the restaurant. Overall, I left feeling like I had a genuinely great night out. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back.

Super good too & honestly you can even order it for just one person as a main dish-- the serving size is big enough. BUT THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW AT LAS PALMAS ARE THE WAGYU FAJITAS!!! Incredible. Comes with flour or corn tortillas, beans, rice, and obviously the works: sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. You know the vibes. Speaking of vibes, they're always there at Las Palmas. The kid had Topo Chico and the wife had Prosecco. Everyone enjoyed their drink. For entrees, the wife had her favorite, the vegetable budin, which is like a lasagna. The flavors were deep and rich. She loved it. I tried the carne tacos and they were excellent! The meat was tender and smoky. The beef had been marinated for a wonderful flavor. Good quality with no fat. I usually avoid ordering beef at restaurants because I often get more fat than meat which I detest, but not at Meso Maya. Our server Luis was very good. Present when we wanted and not when we did not. Overall, the restaurant was a hit on every level--ambience, service, and food. We like the downtown location the best and will return.
