Beware. I was a patient here for about 10 yesrs. I wanted basic care, such as cleanings. They…read morewanted to do so much more. One time claiming I needed a crown. They said two adjacent teeth needed crowns. My insurance company strongly disagreed, and wouldn't approve the second tooth. Dr. Beri frequently uses equipment and procedures not covered by insurance. My feeling is he wants to maximize the number of crowns and similar replacements to help with the ROI on all the equipment he has. When I first started here, there were at least 7 to 10 people in this office. Today, 2-3. I do not recommend this office.

This place wowed me with their holistic approach and I went for a year or so. Finally was convinced…read moreto have some old metal fillings removed and replaced with some sort of porcelain. Well, after that, the tooth hurt. And a month later it still hurt. And at least 3 months later it still hurt. I went back there to complain after at l;east 3 months later months and I was told that it was nothing to be concerned about unless heat or cold started bothering it. That it was the nerve and it should go away. Dr. Beri was defensive and also aloof that this was because of the dental work. Over a year later, a year full of almost daily migraines, sinus issues, fatigue and other stuff here I sit having gone to another dentist this morning, who advised me that the filling put in my tooth was entirely too big, that the tooth was completely infected, and I have to have a root canal. When they got in there, she said it was full of infection. So, I have had an infected tooth/root whatever for at least a year, and had I gone back to this place again I still don't think they would have addressed it. My kids had their last examination there two weeks ago and we will not return. Thanks for the now $500+ expense due to carelessness and not listening to your patient. THREE MONTHS after the procedure and something should have been done. At a minumum, recognized the filling was too entirely big. I really appreciate this extra expense.

It's difficult to find a good dentist and after trying out a different one that was a bit closer, I…read morerealized this dentist is completely worth the distance and I hope I can keep coming back here. I started coming here maybe 10 years ago when Dr. Francis was the dentist and him and his dental hygienists were all amazing. Now, Dr Evans is the dentist here and he is just as great and so are all his hygienists. I love his treatment philosophies. He really tries to minimize pain for the patients and doesn't ever pressure you into doing anything and explains everything to you. He's also a very friendly and funny guy. I appreciate that he never makes a big deal over tiny cavities either and doesn't scare you into treating it right away. It seems like he prioritizes just keeping a watch on small cavities, but if he does recommend a filling, they use a form of laser treatment instead of drilling here. I've never had a laser cavity treatment but it sounds way better than the drilling and numbing that other dentists use. I feel a lot more comfortable and open to coming back to get them filled now. All the hygienists I've had here have all been very gentle, respectful, friendly, and always make me feel comfortable. They do not scrape too hard, they compliment my teeth, and I really appreciate that they do not talk to me or ask questions during the cleanings. I'm a shy person and I think they pick up on that lol. The cleaning I had recently only took about 20-30 minutes too.

Please note that I am far along in…read moremy pregnancy, and Dr. Scherer was extremely careful to ensure I was comfortable with the procedure and process before he began. Pain, discomfort and swelling is very minimal, so much better than anticipated. I found all the staff members to be friendly and sweet. I'll be going back to remove the others in the Fall.

Years ago, Dr. Scherer removed a tooth of mine, and the experience was perfect... very efficient,…read moreprofessional, and I had no issues afterwards. Because of that positive experience, I brought my 9-year old son in today to have a tooth removed. My son has some special needs - he has severe ADHD, a learning disability and intense anxiety about pain. During our consultation with Dr. Scherer last month, I informed him of this and explained that my son has anxiety and fear (somewhat disproportionate to a normal level) when it comes to pain. I said, he will be VERY afraid and wI'll likely cry. I asked Dr. Scherer what he could do to help alleviate the fear. Answer: a child's dose of Valium the night before and morning of, and either laughing gas or IV sedation. I assumed those would be coupled with some understanding and a little empathy and maybe compassion for a terrified CHILD. OMG!!!! NOTHING could be farther from that. Dr. Scherer showed no empathy or compassion. Basically, he scared my son even more by saying "We can either do this now, here - or in the hospital." He demonstrated no care or understanding that my son was terrified. In fact, Dr. Scherer's demeanor was brusque, curt and slightly aggressive. He was unkind in that he used my son's fear against him instead of found or saying ANYTHING to try to allay his fear... even a little. My son was being brave and 'keeping it together' until we were told that I wasn't allowed to go into the room to hold his hand. Per Dr. Scherer, APPARENTLY, having a parent in the room makes the situation worse. Ok, maybe. I'll never know. But, I never expected the callous, brusque manner of Dr. Scherer today. I don't understand why this "hard-a$$" approach was necessary or appropriate for a scared, terrified kid with cognitive challenges. Shame on you, Dr. Scherer.
