I called this dealership three separate times trying to get assistance. The first time I spoke with someone who said they would have the appropriate person call me back. The next two times I left voicemails. I never received a single callback. I would have simply scheduled my service online, but the mileage selector on the website is so inaccurate that I wasn't comfortable choosing an option. That's the entire reason I called--to make sure my vehicle was scheduled correctly. In the past, I selected the closest available mileage, which was still off by nearly 30,000 miles. Despite the actual odometer reading being documented when I dropped the vehicle off, the service was apparently performed based on the incorrect mileage I selected online rather than the vehicle's actual mileage. As a result, required or recommended maintenance that should have been performed at the correct interval was overlooked. Maybe business is so good that returning customer phone calls isn't a priority, but that's not the level of customer service I'd expect from a dealership. Being ignored altogether is frustrating and disappointing, especially when I'm trying to ensure my vehicle receives the correct maintenance. I've given it two stars only because my OTHER Hyundai has no issues and when I get service it's good. JUST CALL BACK. read more

Not impressed with your customer service, in general. My (less than 6 month old) Hyundai Tucson suddenly lost its AC! When I called to arrange for service on 8/6 I was told the soonest I could get in was Monday, 8/10! Really? Living in Tucson, in August, without AC makes my car unusable. So, when I dropped the car this morning, I asked for a courtesy car while it's being worked on. But, no! There are none to be had. Apparently, since being purchased by Gee Automotive the number of courtesy cars available has dropped from over 40 to just 15. So customers are left without transportation. Oh, I was offered the possibility of an Uber, but since I live in an adjacent county, that's not likely to happen. Later, when I called to inquire about the status of the repair, I was left on hold for over 18 minutes without anyone checking back in. Who runs a business like this? read more

Buying a new car can be an unpleasant adventure. I can truly say that this go around was very pleasant. Josue Cardiel our sales consultant was attentive & asked lots of questions so he would know exactly what we wanted. He made suggestions but didn't try to push us one way or another. I take my Hyundai for regular service at Jim Click and it's a hit and miss. Sometimes the service is excellent, other times just plain bad. Depends on which service writer you get. Normally the service writer will review the service done and review any issues. Last two times the service writer never went over any issues or service done. Not appreciated. Prices can be high compared to other service providers but they will send coupons on occasion to give discounts. Overall just okay. read more

We dropped the car off to be repaired two weeks ago today and they said it would be done one week ago today. They then changed that to that it would be done on Wednesday and then changed it again to today. THEN after paying $50 in uber fees to go pick it up they're like "oh sorry, we actually broke it in a totally different way while in the process of fixing the other problem... so now we have to fix that". The thing is... At this point I don't even know how THEY believe that they're even competent enough to actually have it finished by tomorrow. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. This is my only experience with them, so I can't really say if this is normal or not. But it's definitely unacceptable. read more

I booked an appointment 2 months ago for an oil change and to check out a tire that had a nail. They said they couldn't find a nail, so I thought "maybe I'm crazy?". Went home and immediately found the nail. Took me 2 month to go back and had to wait 2 hours. Was told I had to get a new tire instead of a patch job which would have happened if they found it the first time. Wanted some kind of discount or apology but that seemed out of the question and they pretty much shoved me out of there. The customer service there is a complete joke. read more

Brought my MINT condition 2012 Veracruz Limited with 41k miles in for the maintenance for life. Oil change. I drove 1/4 of the way home when the smell of something burning and the check engine light coming on every time I stepped on the brake. I turn around, call Jim Click to tell them Im coming back. I get in touch with the service department was transferred to the service manager Eric. He tells me to "pull over and turn the engine off!" Which I did. Stated he would be sending a tow truck. They were also texting and leaving voice mails at the same time I was calling them. I get back to the dealership and was told after quite some time by a attendant that someone notice a trail of oil in the "pick up, waiting area" area, They looked at the security footage and identified my car as the reason. This is the report: "Customer states towed in - Oil leak after oil change. Vehicle leaking engine oil from oil filter housing, engine was 5 quarts low. Cleaned engine bay, under carriage and washed vehicle. Torqued engine oil filter housing to Hyundai spec. Add 5 quarts of engine oil (engine takes 6 quarts) Test drove vehicle 5 miles. No engine concerns at this time. Service manager had conversation with customer." I was promised if I had any problems with the engine in the future, they would take care of the problem at no cost to me. They also filled the tank up with gas. We shall see. read more

Brought my 2020 Elantra GT N Line in for service. Had an oil change, new tires installed, old/original tires had only 16K miles but had cracks all along the sidewalls. Also had an alignment completed, I had a blowout at 80mph that split the front rim a while back, and checked on a few other items. I worked with Jonny in the service department to setup, the appointment, the purchase of the tires and arranging for the other service needed. He was exceptional and extremely helpful. He came out to meet me when I drove up to the service department. Jonny completed all required information to get the work started very quickly. It took a little while to get everything completed, which was to be expected since I wasn't the only person having an appointment. Altogether it didn't take that long to get everything completed with all that had to be completed. I would strongly recommend Jim Click Hyundai and especially Jonny. read more

I had my car towed here after a total engine failure because I had the lifetime warranty on the engine. It was dropped off overnight so I expected someone to contact me the next morning about the car. I had to call at 4:30pm the next day to simply confirm that it made it there, since no one bothered to contact me! The rest of the experience was similar. They told me it would be a week to even diagnose what had happened to the engine-- meanwhile I had to find rides to and from everywhere for 7 days. No one calls me the entire week; I had to call THEM. They told me that since they confirmed the engine failed, they could finally put me in a courtesy vehicle...once their higher-ups finally get around to approving the paperwork. Another two days go by until I'm given the green light on picking up a car on 3/13. Yesterday, 4/3, my car is finally finished. I'm about to get inside when I notice the ENTIRE door and steering wheel is covered in black smudging, plus both the driver's and passenger's seat are scuffed up with blackness. Thanks so much for dirtying the interior of my car that I will now have to get shampooed out! Not only that, but when I dropped off my car it was nearly full; I had just filled up the day before breaking down. They returned it to me with 1/3 of a tank. I was expected to return their loner vehicle with the same amount of gas they gave it to me with, but they can't do the same? If I returned your loner vehicle with 1/2 a tank less of gas and filthy interior, you bet I would be fined. Unreal how their communication is mostly one-sided and they tried to shove me out the door into my dirty vehicle. read more

I just wanted to make sure these guys get a shout out! I just moved here from CA and I traded in my Honda for my Hyundai Kona.... Right before all the recalls hit... It took about 6 months for my service appointment to come up (booked it in October when a sensor had an issue and so I started driving less and less and caused a battery issue). I have both roadside and AAA and used roadside to get my car to the dealer. My service rep called me every step of the way and and made sure to answer any questions I had AND all without an attitude of being too busy for me or like I was asking dumb questions (I was absolutely asking dumb questions because I don't know A LOT about cars and just wanna make sure it's all good). I got my car back washed too which is not an experience I've had at a dealer before! All in all for whatever it's worth, any Hyundai dealership is probably slammed still and honestly I took care of everything from home and just showed up a day after it was done to grab it! Just hope these guys know it was beyond appreciated (and I didn't walk out spending my life's savings to fix my wiring issue due to packrat type damage!) read more

I took my car in for an oil change today .. I didn't have an appointment ,however, they were able to to take my car in anyway. They offered to take me and pick me up at the mall when my car was ready, which beats sitting in a lobby alone for 1-2 hours. When my car was ready I was explained everything that my car may need such as brakes, tires, air filer etc. The young man was very clear on what needed to be taken care of now, what could wait, and what was going to be needed in the future, which is absolutely what i need to know since im a girl!! I respect their honesty and feedback. It was such a great experience! Everyone was kind and helpful during my visit. And to add a cherry on top to my visit I get in my car and as I turn around I see they left a bottled water and a cookie in my cup holder for me. This review is for the service department. WOW! I am blown away at my recent experience. I had scheduled my sonata for recall service. I had the option to have Jim Click pick up my vehicle at my residence and return it at no added cost. I can't express how convenient this was. I truly cannot. I literally had to do nothing. No waiting in a lobby for my vehicle to be ready. No planning out my day to get this done. Nothing! I've never experienced customer convenience to this extent. I purchased a brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona in June 2021. On January 5, 2022, the car had an engine failure due to a lost drain plug. The car was towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership, Jim Click Hyundai Automall. Although my car is still under "America's Best Warranty" and had every service performed by a Hyundai authorized service provider, Eric Salazar did nothing to help. He did NOT provide a free loaner car or reimburse for a rental car. He did NOT perform any repairs or engine replacement. He did have a new drain plug inserted, along with USED oil to figure out what was wrong with the engine. Jim Click Hyundai Automall had my car for over 4 weeks. I had to pay to have it towed to another dealership. Unfortunately, I cannot post this with a no star rating. read more

I bought my Hyundai Tucson a few months ago and bought the extended warranty. The sales people was easy to work with. I never write reviews but because of my experience with the service department i had to write this. 2 months ago i scheduled for the maintenance for life appointment. 2 weeks after making the appointment the check engine light comes on and the engine starts to run rough. I called the service department and they said to bring it in for the appointment i had already made and they would take care of it. I bring the car in and they said i had to speak to the service advisor and i will have to leave the car for a week or two so they could do the diagnostics. This was contrary to what i was told 2 months earlier. Now i will have to rent a car so they can keep mine to fix it. I suggest the service department get on the same page with the process. I guess the question is why did i buy the warranty if i cant get warranty work done. I very unhappy with what has transpired. My family has always owned Hyundai but if this is the service you can expect, then im not sure its worth it. I give them 1 star. read more

Took my car here twice - long waits both times even with first thing in the morning appointments. First time all went well I got my car back and it seemed fine. Second time they told me it was fine and didn't need any repairs and sent me home only for my battery to die two days later. I just went to a different auto shop to get my car looked at for it's service and apparently my car did need maintenance at the last service they just didn't tell me. They had notated all the things wrong with my car yet told me it was all good. Not impressed and will never be using them again. read more

I will never buy a car from this dealership again. My husband and I have purchased numerous Hyundais over the years but have traded one in for another brand and plan to trade the other one asap! I last had our 2020 Sonata serviced in Nov 2023 and at that time scheduled next service appointment in Feb 2024. As that date neared it disappeared off my calendar, but whenever I tried calling, I would have to leave messages. Never heard a word back as they have NEVER returned any messages left for service dept in the past. Last week a new appointment showed up in my calendar and (again) I tried calling to check if I have an appointment. Alas, there was noone to answer the phones and no return calls. I was able to (finally) reach someone (in sales!) who physically went and got a service adviser for me to talk to. He stated my appointment was later this week. He also looked to see if someone had rescheduled it and said that it was "scheduled by their system". This is one of sooooo many issues we have had in the past and they just seem to be getting worse and more frequent. From dropping off my car for repair and not having anything done when picked up to taking 3 hours to change oil/basic maintenance. I have started to take my car elsewhere for service as I no longer have any faith or trust in this company. Like many other companies now, they only care about $$!! Come on, how hard is it to answer a phone or return YOUR CUSTOMERS' calls!!! Those customers will go elsewhere, and we are. read more

I talked to a salesman and told him I have $29,000 to spend on the car and the extended warranty, the taxes, the environmental tire fee. He took the $29,000 just for the car and left me high and dry on the extended warranty, the taxes, the environmental tire fee and the license fee which I forgot to mention earlier. So where am I suppose to get the money for the extra fees which were suppose to be included. The list price on the car was $25,375. He could have charged me $26,000 for the car but instead he got greedy and took all my money! read more

First it was extemely difficult to have an appointement for a service and a mechanical reparation. I took my appointement in person on site a week in advance and when i arrived they told me it was planned for thje following week. After a conversation with the manager I got an appointement the next day. They kept the car from 8am to 4pm to fix it. Unfortunately, I discovered that the issue was still while i was driving the following day. I sent text messages and never got answers. read more

I used to be a satisfied customer - I purchase two cars from Jim Click. However, I've been treated with subpar customer service the last three times I've had contact with this dealership. The most current issue I have has to do with their installation of an aftermarket alarm system. When I purchased the vehicle, they offered the system to me. I declined and they advised the system would be removed. As it turns out, they only deactivated the system and two years down the road something in the system malfunctions and prevents me from starting the car. When I asked them to look at the problem (before I knew what it was) they wanted to charge over a hundred dollars for a diagnostic. I declined and took it to a local guy who determined that it was probably a clutch switch and I'd be fine to take it home to NC and see someone there. Well, after the local shop here ordering a part, having a local guy look at it, we determined that a dealership would need to diagnose the problem because it wasn't a switch issue (by the way, local guy charged me nothing for the diagnostic work). I took it to NC dealership that charges a much more reasonable diagnostic fee (under $50) and they were the ones who found the issue caused "solely by improper installation of the aftermarket alarm." I called Jim Click and spoke with Jason in service. He was helpful the first time. Not so much after I found out it was a problem with something Jim Click did. He became rude on the phone and tried to pass the blame off. They finally accepted it was their problem and advised I would be reimbursed for the issue - when they sent me the check it was $60 less than the cost of repair. read more
