    Jim Click & Hyundai Arnt willing to help me with a known peeling paint issue that these 2020 Sante Fe's have. Had I have known prior I would not have purchased this vehicle. I'm sharing my experience with both companies to help someone else avoid going through this. It's been poor customer service and still an unresolved issue. The peeling paint is now my problem per JIM CLICK AND HYUNDAI.

    Brought my MINT condition 2012 Veracruz Limited with 41k miles in for the maintenance for life. Oil change. I drove 1/4 of the way home when the smell of something burning and the check engine light coming on every time I stepped on the brake. I turn around, call Jim Click to tell them Im coming back. I get in touch with the service department was transferred to the service manager Eric. He tells me to "pull over and turn the engine off!" Which I did. Stated he would be sending a tow truck. They were also texting and leaving voice mails at the same time I was calling them. I get back to the dealership and was told after quite some time by a attendant that someone notice a trail of oil in the "pick up, waiting area" area, They looked at the security footage and identified my car as the reason. This is the report: "Customer states towed in - Oil leak after oil change. Vehicle leaking engine oil from oil filter housing, engine was 5 quarts low. Cleaned engine bay, under carriage and washed vehicle. Torqued engine oil filter housing to Hyundai spec. Add 5 quarts of engine oil (engine takes 6 quarts) Test drove vehicle 5 miles. No engine concerns at this time. Service manager had conversation with customer." I was promised if I had any problems with the engine in the future, they would take care of the problem at no cost to me. They also filled the tank up with gas. We shall see.

    I want to be upfront: I did not choose Spectrum. My vehicle was damaged by Mister Car Wash's…read moreequipment, and Mister Car Wash required me to use Spectrum as a condition of covering the repair. If the choice had been mine, I never would have brought my car here--and after this experience, I'd urge others to think twice before doing so voluntarily. I brought my 2014 Honda CR-V in for a front bumper repair--two parts needed replacing. The estimate was 2-3 days. What followed was seven weeks of repeated visits, poor workmanship, and zero accountability. Visit 1 (July 28): I dropped my car off in the morning. The shop called me that same afternoon to say the work was finished. When I arrived, I discovered they had only replaced one of the two parts listed on their own estimate. The service advisor, Marco, argued with me that the missing part wasn't part of the job--until I showed him a copy of his own estimate, which clearly listed it. I had already returned my rental car based on their word that the job was complete. Spectrum made no effort to arrange a replacement rental or cover the inconvenience they caused. I also noticed that items in my car's interior had been moved from where I had left them. A shop working on the front bumper should have no reason to disturb the interior beyond moving the vehicle in and out of the bay. Visit 2 (July 29): I brought the car back to have the missed part installed. When I got home afterward, I noticed scratches on the new bumper, rough paint, and panels that were visibly misaligned with large gaps. I called the shop, and they told me to bring it back. Visit 3 (July 30): I brought the car in to show them the scratches, rough paint, and panel alignment issues. They said they'd need the car for a full day to address everything. Visit 4 (August 5): I left the car for the entire day. When I picked it up, a scratch was still present, and there were large bare spots on the bumper that looked like they had been touched up with nail polish. They told me I'd need to bring it back again. Visit 5 (September 12): I brought the car back one final time. The scratch was poorly concealed, and the panels were still misaligned. At this point I stopped bringing my car back, because five visits over seven weeks made it clear that this shop is not capable of producing acceptable work. To summarize: Spectrum called a job complete when it wasn't, argued with me about their own paperwork, left me without a vehicle with no attempt to make it right, and then failed to fix their own mistakes across four subsequent visits. I would not trust this shop with any vehicle.

    This guy was great! Nick was quick to respond to my phone message/Yelp request. Got to speak with…read morehim directly and get a ballpark quote (if issue was just as I described it and only replacing a bad rear wheel bearing on 2015 Jeep with rear drum brakes and front wheel drive) Nick not only had a reasonable hourly rate, but also gave me option to purchase new complete bearing hub assembly at his discount via reputable parts store he has account with, cost 2/3 of what I would have paid) Nick also came to my home to do service and knocked it out professionally and in less than 1 hour... plus gave a little discount because it took less than an hour. Other places wanted to do an inspection/diagnostic at their shop starting from $90 and up... many not even having that count towards service. Nick's overall cost with part was just over half what I looked at elsewhere... in some cases less than half. I already have a few future services planned with this mechanic... He advised me of costs and likely fixes for other issues for the future. Nick is a local young man building up a business and clientele via professional work conveniently done where you are at super rate... but mostly by word of mouth. Yelp reviews are few so far, which is a crime... Easy the best money I've spent with a mechanic in 40 years of driving. Try him out, you'll be glad you did.
